Ruby’s of Morecambe in Lancaster

Found this cafe on Morecambe Sea front. A lovely little place. Clean and tidy Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food looked amazing but did not try just in for a couple of drinks beer of course as they have just got a license. Good prices. Could not ask for more will definitely be going back. Cara the owner couldn't be more welcoming.

We came to Morcambe to visir friends whilst the Morcambe music festival was on What can i say ,lovely owners and staff ,the best breakfast you will ever have ,highest quality food coiked to perfection We also came to Ruby,s both evenings for the music festival There was a live act playing outside the cafe both nights and the attmosphere was excellent All in all a great experience and i would would definately recomend to anyone visiting Morcambe to go to Ruby's

Me and my husband come to morcombe once a month for a small break and every time we come we always make the trip out to the front for a Ruby’s breakfast! We come all days of the week each month. Food: always piping hot! The consistency in the food is always perfect! Every. Single. Time! I always get a medium or a large Ruby’s breakfast and my partner also gets this but he recently tried one of the chicken Sunday dinners and it was like being at home when your mum makes you a Sunday dinner. Decor: Always super clean! Gorgeous art work on the walls Updated modern feel of appliances but with a vintage clean twist on the decor. Staff: Every-time we come in or anyone comes in there’s always a warm welcome! Always saying Hi to the locals, super super friendly staff with a close fitted community feel. No question is too much bother. Can get busy, but the staff are always around trying to help and go above and beyond for everyone! One thing I do love is that even if a mistake does happen they are always apologetic and do their best to make it right which is so important in any customer service industry… as mistakes happen!

I popped in here as I had some time before a meeting. Very friendly staff, lovely food and coffee. Great location. Definitely pop in if you are in the area.

My pops goes here a couple of times a week and the lady's always look after him as he's not to steedy on his feet, they always make a fuss of his 2 dogs and spoil them with a treat or two. We go on a Sunday for lunch and it never fails to impress the home cooking is delicious and always fresh, at a great price too! I'm in love with the cheesecake I've even had to order a couple of full family size to take home. Thank you really appreciate all your hard work John, Sean and Lilly and Rosie xx

The art work on the walls is amazing. 30s style & the comic postcard wall is great. Good value meals. Recommended. Shall definitely return.

Had Ruby's breakfast and large breakfast. Friendly service and delicious food. Extra treat given to our dog included.

Been living here 3yrs and just found this gem of a cafe. The food is great. Try their breakfast burrito - heaven in a wrap. Very reasonable prices, all freshly cooked. Pet bowls and treats always out. Sunday lunch excellent also. Check their opening times for winter, I think it's Thurs to Sunday, well worth a visit.

We use morecambe eats when short staffed, the app changed the address to my home address instead of work, even though I put instructions in the delivery note for the driver to come to the Frieght side of the Dock where the trucks come in. The driver argued about coming to the Dock an wanted me to nip home, even though I explained I couldn't.. The driver arrived an he was scruffy looking, unshaven and the car looked like morecambe tip. The food was disgusting, we ordered two burgers with chips and a child size portion of fish goujons and chips. Tasteless bland and really expensive, the 'chicken burger' wasn't even a burger, it was 3 pieces of soggy breaded chicken... For £7.50!!!! There was no seasoning on anything and the burger buns looked like they had been stamped on. We will never eat at such a poor quality place again, you can't charge £7.50 or £8.50 for the mush you serve! Absolutely vile!!

Food was superb, really nice coffee and well priced. Kids loved their hot chocolates and recommend the breakfast wrap. The only mark down is the time it takes for the (lovely) food to arrive, we had a couple of tables walk out as the wait time was too long. Really recommend the lovely location & food but make sure you’re going to relax and enjoy the coffee in the mean time!

I visited last Sunday with my husband having previously visited before lockdown.We were pleasantly surprised that it was still here It's one of the nicest cafe's I have ever visited.The food is nice,and reasonably priced.We did have a 40 mins wait for food,but it was understandable as it was the vintage by the sea weekend.They probably could have done with more staff as they were trying to do too many jobs.Apart from that it was lovely,and we would not hesitate to visit again

Visited here this afternoon for lunch with my family… very slow service 4 cold drinks took 15 minutes to arrive and there was only 3 tables worth of customers in at the time. After ordering I was told it would be a 20 minute wait which is fine we said that is okay… 40 mins later food arrived nothing fancy just basic cafe food but was okay nothing special and nothing to take so long seen as they were so quiet at the time I’d hate to see how long it takes when there’s more than 3 tables full. Very clean inside but wouldn’t hurt to be a bit more friendly from the staff.

Family run cafe and ice-cream bar, Ruby’s doesn’t disappoint. Be patient as all the food is freshly made, wholesome, good quality and cooked to perfection, so well worth the wait. A range of breakfasts, burritos, baked potatoes, panini, sandwiches, bagels, and wraps hot and cold. Freshly brewed coffee compliments with a selection of barista drinks, teas, cold drinks and ices. If you are very lucky you will get to sample one of Cara’s home baked treats, the cheesecakes are to die for. Pooches don’t miss out with complimentary biscuits, a range of doggie meals, and plenty of fuss and cuddles. Children are welcome, and often there are live events including live music, topical debates, and Punch and Judy. Situated on the promenade towards the West End, indoor and outside seating offers plenty of space to relax and take in the sea and mountain views.

Great food here lots of space dog friendly and nice staff too. Went to watch the live music from a local band Great atmosphere will definitely be back.

We have visited the cafe over 12 times this year and every time the service has been ridiculously slow. We wait 15 mins each time to place an order then wait 30-50 mins every time for food to arrive with each person's meal coming out...

We had a croque-monsieur and a ham and cheese toastie and the service and food regret . Perfectly placed on the promenade.

We regularly visit Ruby’s. We’ve always had a great meal and great service. Good quality coffee, excellent Sunday roasts and full English breakfasts. Well worth visiting and supporting this family run business on Morecambe’s prom.

Visited today (Sunday). Two very hard working young people taking orders, clearing tables, making drinks etc. Could not fault either of them, they were both very polite and extremely hard working. It was busy when we were there but the young man took it all...

I visit this cafe regular as I think it is great value for money. The food has always been very nice and of good quality. The staff go above expectations to make us feel welcome and cater to any needs we have.

I would recommend visiting Ruby’s of Morecambe. A small family run cafe. A huge range of food available with a delicious Sunday lunch. We visit often and have never been disappointed. Proper home cooked food and spotlessly clean.

Come here regularly with my partner , easily the best place in morecambe . Extensive menu , great price and decent coffee instead of instant rubbish . Always clean and tidy and pleasant staff .. whats not to love . Nachos are a must !!!

I ate here with my sister and her family when they were visiting because the hotel were charging £10 for breakfast in top of the room rate!!!! Much better value breakfast here. Love the croque monsieur and madame :-)

Ruby's is a fantastic cafe with local art work on the walls and a lovely atmosphere. Yummy food with veggie options and well priced. Definitely worth a trip if visiting Morecambe and for all us locals
