2.5 hours and several phone calls later. I am still waiting for a delivery. It will now be refused (if it arrives) as I have eaten from the freezer. Also the woman who answers their phone was just rude.

Ordered my partners food at 4.55pm and said delivery would be at … 6.20pm - we are a mile away?!?? it don’t arrive till 6.45pm after calling the restaurant and being told “we don’t have any delivery drivers”?? Food was rubbish when eventually delivered - would never order from here again.

When I ordered the time given was 7.00, but later this changed to 7.30. When I collected instead, no apology or refund for delivery. The place made me concerned for hygiene- might be ok but it didn’t look good.

we ordered it at 5.35 and was told delivery between 6.40 and 7pm it finally arrived at 7.40 !!!!!

Guys! Normally amazing food but today hour late and freezing cold chips and pizza and garlic bread!

Only went here cos said 35 mins on quiet thursday night but took over an hour and pizza was cold and chilli sauce which was inside the pizza not a dip which they didnt make clear at all was the hottest ive ever had... inedible... and i can eat madras from curryhouse ... simple mozzarella stick and pizza was the worst ive ever had.

Fantastic again, great quality and delicious! They forgot an item, delivered it within 10 minutes with extra items as an apology... I order from here all the time, its my go to chicken and pizza place

my food was freezing when it arrived, the garlic bread was stale, the chips were hard and the pizza was cold. it took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive which is a joke.

Order was 30 minutes late, I called to be told that would call back in 5 mins as they couldn’t get through to the driver. I had no call back, I placed order just after 5.30pm and did not receive my order until 7.25pm although delivery was expected between 6.30-6.50 I live 5 mins down the road this is completely unacceptable

Nothing super special but it was nice for the price. Pizza had an odd option that was the sauce as a required option instead of allowing a standard Margherita pizza... Chicken burger was... Strange. Big bottles of diet coke, which was nice. No ice cream which was a disappointment. No fudge cake either. I give this place: 3/5 and that's being generous.

Royal pizza best chicken and pizza in Caterham by far! Very quick service, polite staff. I also ordered ribs which were perfect and tender. I recommend this place! Their buy 1 get 1 free is best deal you can get 😍

Staff in here don’t know what they’re doing. The pizza is fine on the off chance they get it right (about 7% of the time). No sense of hygiene at all and never get the pizzas right.

I want to say a really big thank you to Mr Samuel and his team, ordered in advance for our party, so it was a big order, had loads of compliments on how good the food was and how they enjoyed it. I highly recommend this eatery, so again Thank you.

Very disgusted as just ordered six spares ribs for £5.99 dishing it up the person dropped it in the blue bin picked it out of the bin the other guy laughed try putting it in a different package and so serving it to us with outside anything luckily I saw it I questioned it he said oh sorry give me five minutes I'll cook some more the older guy with glasses came up question us and said what's wrong would you like new food or credit I then turn around and said you just put the food in the bin pulled it out and did not say anything he say yes it happens 😭😭😤😤😤😤😤 I hope people report this and get environmental health in it used to be a great place to eat

This place is nowhere near as good as it once was, ordered a small deep pan margarita and a medium deep pan, instead I got a thin crust that had a completely gross, overpowering after taste. With 3 large chips that were barley half a bag. Absolute waste of money now.

My favourite chicken takeaway in the area. The chicken is always nicely cooked and seasoned, plus their chicken wings are amazing. Great value as well and always happy for my custom.

The owner is aggressive and came to my family home after I complained that the food was cold from a previous order. He did not accept that cold food is not acceptable and continued to argue the point and tried to drag self employed drivers into it. My issue was how can they justify delivering food on a 45 minute wait that was cold?? All he said was it is not his fault that he was busy!!??? Sorry pal, not the consumers problem. Never had an issue after 10 years of orders from Royal pizza but never had an owner come to my home and argue like you did and have also not had a business come to my home and make us feel so under valued and threatened as a customer. Until now we have never had a problem here. A threatening and nasty owner running this establishment. The drivers are quality and respectful!

1 star at best 3rd time I've ordered and 3rd time it's taken nearly 2 hours to get here. Don't get me wrong the pizzas are nice once they get here but are always just about warm. This time was the worst yet they turned up all folded up and good luck ringing up and asking for anything to be done about it as they don't answer

Best pizza in Caterham. Much better than the "big" brands who are twice the price!

Placed my order at 18:23, and estimated local delivery at 19:20...when the estimated delivery time elapsed called the restaurant and they said that my order has left, call them back numerous times to enquire about my order no only were rude talking in their language but got me waiting on the line with no explanation to come back and say that they will call the delivery guy and call me back, they call me back to say that my order is en route...waited further 35minutes tried to call back but no answer..my order arrived at 20:35 stone cold and items where missing, tried to call the restaurant but no answer!! Refrain from ordering...what a bad experience, lesson learned.

Told delivery would be 45 min. They called after an hour and said it will be another 45 mins. Had hungry kids waiting!! This has happened the last 3 times. Will be the last time we use this place.

Very average and tastes very much the same as most of the other mediocre pizza places around. Really nothing special to me and overpriced for what it is. It's not horrible but just not great.

Avoid. Ordered at 7 pm and delivery expected 8 but arrived at 9 38. It is also very hard to reach them on the phone. I have been to the take away at well and it is an absolute mess. They just take all orders but unable to fulfill.

Doesnt even deserve 1 star. Was told 45 mins to an hour. Called after an hour, was told driver on their way. I then called 25 mins later, multiple times and they said driver had just left. I then Waited 20 minutes.. again.... after calling multiple times. By now its been an hour and 40 minutes since we called. Dont bother

Greta food! We order a lot from this place and yet it has never been on time! Still currently waiting! 40 minutes late so far…. Latest they’ve been is 2 hours, even then we’ve had to go an collect it ourselves!! Constantly trying to call but can’t get through. It cuts off, showing a ‘busy’ like the phone is off the hook!!!!

Ordered £50 worth of food at 1.30 and almost 2 hours later nothing, I rang them about 30 times and no answer, eventually they answered and said it would be 15 minutes maximum, in the end we drove round there and it hadn't even left the shop! Ridiculous. Don't bother.

So how can an order of 1 pizza , 6chicken pieces and 1 portion of fries take almost 2 hours to be delivered? We ordered online to a 45 delivery which was fine, then got an email to say there was a delay to the order, of course, after it was submitted. Then when I called after 60 mins, they had no delivery driver. Was promised 5 mins then had to wait another 30!! Not good!! When food arrived can only say luke warm and not hot! It’s the first time we’ve ordered from this place for a very long time and unfortunately it may be our last!

If I could leave negative stars I would. The food was cold and nearly 2 hours late and the chicken wings still had black feathers stuck in the skin under the batter. All of the chicken fillets weee grey and looked like they were about a week old. Absolutely disgusting

Food wasn’t delivered and we had to go to the shop as they weren’t answering phone. Had to wait another 15 minutes in shop until food was ready. Vegetarian burger wasn’t hot and in pieces in bun. Pizza was over cooked and too much sauce on it. Children meal was also almost cold. Won’t order from there again!

Absolutely shocking place. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE ⚠️ WARNING WARNING ⚠️ Don't waste your time or money. They take your order, take your money. Quoted 45mins to an hour for delivery. After 1hr 10mins we called, told just waiting on a driver. After 2hrs they didn't answer the phone so my partner had to drive there. To be told it was on its way. As the food was at least an hour old he told them not to bother and he wanted a refund. The rude little man put the money in his hand and walked off. He even called to make sure the driver didn't deliver the over an hour old food before he would refund. No apology, no food, not a care. We are now out of pocket, its 9pm and now got to find dinner! They couldn't care less about customers.

Hotwings are actually spicy and always tender, tears away from the bone perfectly. Their chicken is crispy and the ribs are sweet but smokey, almost every meal they give you either extra or a lot. Also gives free samples when you are unsure of something new you want to try. Good food for a good price.

We got deep pan after ordering thin crust, but food arrived hot and tasted good. It was late but that was communicated to us. Our first time using them and not the best start but not completely put off.

The pop chicken was good, the burger was good, but the chicken was not cooked all the way through. When I got one big piece; it had blood/pink on the inside. I'm not having a go, I'm just saying. Perhaps check the food with a temperature probe next time? Or, maybe, look inside the chicken before you send it out? Overall, the experience was okay.

Ordered here last night and my order was cancelled without explanation about half an hour after they had already accepted the order and payment online. I would have liked an explanation. It was about half an hour till closing time. However they shouldn't have accepted the order if they were not able to complete it.

do not take any notice of the times these people give you- this is the 2nd time its been so late - 1 hour was the origional time and then 30 mins late on top of that

Bad food. Cold. Uneatable. Went straight into the bin. Wish they had the same people who normally do good food. This time was unacceptable. Went through Just Eat to get compensation. I shouldn't have to pay for cold, uneatable, and stupid food. Burger sauce AND Ketchup in the burger? NO-ONE does that! Will SERIOUSLY consider going with someone else next time. NOT RP...

Ordered at 7:04. Food arrived at 8:40 but forgot drink. Told they would drop it off. Now 9:25 and still no drink. So over 2hrs 20mins and I'm still waiting for all of the order to be delivered. Food wasn't very hot either. Think it had been sitting around for ages. Second time in about two weeks food has taken over an hour and a half to arrive. Last time they offered me some free chicken for the inconvenience. Not this time, not even an apology. Won't use them again.
