The breakfast would have been OK if it had been hot, won't be going back, no salt and pepper on the table didn't ask me if everything was satisfactory

Not coming again. The high chair has never seen disinfectant or a cloth. Still had food on the chair from god knows when. Got a sausage cob, pancakes and chips. Asked for no butter on the cob so my baby could have some. He’s dairy free but they put butter on so we couldn’t share it. The sausage wasn’t very nice either. The pancakes were swimming in lemon juice. Some of the chips were still hard in certain areas. On the plus side, the cup of tea and latte were nice. Not like that makes a whole lot of difference.

Poor quality food cheap sausages with no taste. Bacon cheap and salty. Eggs served raw. Tea tasted and looked like vending machine tea awful. Massive waste of money

My family and I had the take-away breakfast and were really impressed! The portions, quality and presentation were excellent, as was the value for money. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to that special treat...

Small friendly cafe in the centre of Heanor. Nice atmosphere, efficient staff and everything is clean and tidy. I like the wall mural. Menu offers the usual cafe fare ( breakfasts, jackets, toasties, paninis etc) but also other tempting delights such as pancakes with various toppings which will have to be tried on a future visit. Had a lovely veggie breakfast - great value £4.50/£5 including toast and tea/coffee. The coffee is really good - creamy and not too strong. Portions generous - and the only breakfast I`ve come across to serve fried onions on their breakfast - but it works well. Didn`t need to eat for about 7 hours afterwards - job done! Definitely worth a try.

Myself and my partner attempted to place an order for delivey. After well over an hour of waiting we decided to call the restaurant to find out what was happening. The girl on the phone repeatedly stated it had been cancelled as the delivery driver had waited for "15 minutes" at the door (a load of rubbish). I then asked if that was the case then why had nobody rang me? I was then shouted at down the phone being told they did ring me over and over again. (Not one single call was made to my phone), we confired the number and it was fine. In the next breath i was told it went to "leave a message after the bip" .... my answer phone doesn't say that. Then they stated they didn't have my number!!! I don't think they have a clue what is going on! I lost my rag with the useless lady on the phone as you can imagine and slammed the phone down as she clearly didn't want to help me rectify the issue at hand. I am a manager in hospitality and I can honestly say in all my years working for a restaurant I have never experienced Customer service as appalling as this. They wouldn't do anything to resolve the problem or offer to get the order back out to me. If I was you I would avoid this place at all costs and order from somewhere that cares for its Customer's.

A small but perfectly formed cafe right in the centre of Heanor. Nicely decorated with a super colourful mural all along one wall. Have been a few times for breakfast with friends and it's been consistently really good. Big thumbs up for the veggie breakfast which is very generous and comes with toast and a hot drink for £4.50. Very tasty and freshly cooked. You won't leave hungry!

This cafe is brilliant and I can't understand why there are just two reviews for it! I've eaten twice here. On my first visit I had a full breakfast. My plate was packed with delicious food, all very well cooked. And you get a proper mug of tea!! Today, I called in for a bacon cob. The bacon was gorgeous and the cob was really soft but with a delicious crust on top. The people who run the place are super friendly and the cafe is spotlessly clean. You can even sit outside on a sunny day if you like. It's great!

I go here every Friday for two bacon cobs. They have the best bacon and baps on the area. Its simple quick and cheap, food is everything you expect at such a cafe... Either eat in or take away. Its very popular and I can see why! Ill keep going till either I die or it closes.

We have been coming to the Mundy arms for years since moving to the Derby area and We are all gutted to hear it's closing, especially since its the best we've know it in all the years we've been coming. The current staff are head and shoulders the best they've ever been. Service is exceptional, genuine friendly staff who aren't putting on faces, they are happy to be there and that is something that any pub would kill to have. We wish them all the best in the future. The only disappointing things is that we found out the pub was closing via email and Facebook the Friday 12th before they shut on the Sunday 14th. This seems very short notice for all involved. Thank you for everything Mundy Arms!

Had three nice meals last week but tonight was disappointing at best. Seemed like deep fried leftovers from Sunday. Put my fork into a pig in blanket and it shot across the room. Potatoes were like rocks and the cauliflower cheese was inedible, even after it was replaced. Did make a complaint at the bar just to get a “sorry ‘bout that!” We won't be calling again, sorry ‘bout that!

We had a great Sunday dinner today at the rose and crown. Turkey was cooked to perfection and chocolate brownie was delicious! Thank you to Casey for looking after us. We will be back soon!
