Royal Ascot in Windsor and Maidenhead

i normally go to hot wok but they have been terrible the last couple of times so i came here my meal was fantastic the best chow mein i have ever tasted i will definitely use royal ascot again thank you for a great meal money well spent

ordered beef noodles and crispy spicy chicken last night. they were absolutely delicious, will definitely order again.

we ordered some dishes last evening for dad's birthday, absolutely LOVE the food ! the best beef noodles ever, chicken balls very crispy, will order again, highly recommended

Funny seeing how many people leave reviews here thinking it's Ascot Racecourse! Anyway, we ordered a lunch takeaway from here. There are not many Chinese food places that are open at lunchtimes so that is a positive. The set meal was special fried rice, black bean chicken, battered chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce. You get a lot of food for £9. The chicken balls were nice, if a little oily, but with good quality breast meat. The black bean was average - not offensive but nothing that great. Good value though and nice to be able to get a Chinese lunch in the Ascot area.

It was good value for money and the food was good quality, especially Singapore rice noodles. My favorite dish out of all, I always ordered this one.

Tried their new dish salt chilli box, it's a really good choice for late night to share with friends

Dish ordered was overcooked no sauce and chicken was substituted with Onions to make the dish look full. Called and relayed that i was not happy with the dish, and that the portion size was shocking - manager took it to Chef a s came back a min later and communicated that that is what it is. They have definitely gone backwards with the new chef and service when you complain is non existing as i just found out. Its when things go wrong that you understand how good they are and today they came short and lost a customer.

Looks like a little confusion on reviews as this is the local Chinese/chippy. Food was good but ordering and organisation a little chaotic. Not good that they only take cash but the meal itself was very nice.

AWESOME time at the royal Ascot, EVERYONE was dressed to the nines. We got to see the Queen. I loved it there. You must stay for the after party Where everyone sings with the orchestra. This is the Kentucky Derby on steroids!!

This was the finest horse racing experience I've ever had. I've been in corporate hospitality for the Belmont Stakes, been everywhere at Pimlico, suites at Del Mar, Clubhouse at Flemington, etc. Suites at Royal Ascot in the Royal Enclosure during the Royal Meeting is as good as it gets. The very best horses, the history and pageantry, fantastic service, luxury and opulence, etc. Just an overwhelmingly amazing experience for a serious horse racing fan.

Had a great time at Royal Ascot. We went again on Ladies day.This really is a fantastic day to take your wife/partner/significant other to... High Reccomended.All the ladies dress up and it’s just such a lovely social day out. Everybody it’s just so friendly.We had tickets again for the Queen Anne Enclosure. To my mind although it’s expensive you do get loads of great facilities and of course access to the parade ring means you get a great look at the horses and jockeys before and after each race. Although my personal view is that you will have a great day out in which ever “enclosure” you choose.It is true that the costs for drinks and food have escalated a lot in recent years and a jug of Pimms for example is now nearly £35 ! This is a great shame as you do now feel like you are been taken advantage of by Ascot racecourses. It’s also noticeable that no one buys the Ascot picnic hampers. Quite a few people did when they were introduced a few years back. Unfortunately for those I asked they were NOT good value for money and just very expensive for what they were... This year I can literally only remember seeing about 2. So my advice would still to be avoid buying unless you have direct positive feedback from someone who has bought one.In terms of transport do take the train. It’s extremely well organised and go early to get a seat !The only reason to take the car I can see is to be able to picnic in the car park! Which I guess could be fun...Last but not least if you are in the Queen Anne Enclosure then remember to gather at the bandstand for the sing along at the end !!!!!!!!

Quite a freindly business being run with the ground team overdoing their customer services. Staff very helpful, decent toilets scattered around the venue and a large hall to accommodate the wedding venue I helped set up. Kidos to the venue and team.

Extensive menu, the food is made fresh and quick. Only thing to add is wished they took card payments - its a cash only place which is a little strange to be honest.
