I went here with my Long term Partner for Christmas before Covid. Again.... It was all kinda new to him! He was also excited to go to Hamleys Toy Shop which was also just on the Regent Street. So very well located for children. The Langham Hotel also has a pool. The Staff were so fun and pleasant. A lovely group of Staff. I had so much laughs with them a complementary Homemade Christmas Pudding was sent up to the room. Thank you to Staff of the Roux at the Landau. I was hoping you would be reopening after Covid, but alass. Wishing you all success in your chosen paths and thank you for a memorable heart warming memory x

Stunningly brilliant cuisine from masters of the trade. The dining space is beautiful to match the elegant plating. The flavours are classic and unbeatable. Feel very lucky to have experienced this wonderful restaurant. If you get the opportunity go go go!

Food was excellent especially the beef. But what was even better was the service given by Mateo and Sai who looked after us throughout the evening. They served us with a smile and were very helpful in every way. They know how to look after their customers. Top marks for service. Highly recommend Mateo and Sai

Presentation is everything here. When sat watching the preparation of your food, it almost feels like you're in a theater. There's so much love and attention to detail that goes into everything served. To me, everything I ordered was delicious, but I do understand that it's an acquired taste. Some may feel the luxurious, healthy approach in terms of ingredients used, and portion sizes, are not hunger fulfilling. In my personal opinion, you should go there to ravel in the experience, but if you are REALLY hungry... you may be making one more stop before heading back home. The food. The Panipuri snack you get is soooo good I actually pleaded for more, and it wasn't even something I ordered, but a complimentary side dish which says a lot. We went for a sort of surf-n'-turf order, which together matched really well. Be sure to ask for the meat to be cooked to a perfect medium. Anymore, and the flavor ceases to be savory. The vanilla cheesecake, and chocolate mix desserts were really tasty, and the perfect way to end the show.

My wife and I went with 2 friends, invited by our bank's concierge service as one of the restaurant takeovers that they invite us to sometimes. The food was superb, the room is airy and distinctively round, the tables are well spaced so you can talk without the room getting too loud. Michel introduced the menu to the room (full of concierge members) and answered Q&A at the end of the meal - a really lovely, authentic man who is so passionate about food but also his staff and the broader industry. A wonderful night out. I'll go again.

Of course I've given five stars! It's Roux at the Landau don't you know! I took my wife for her birthday, we had the Buffet with free flowing Crémant! Fantastic value for the cost and awesomely friendly staff from the doorman to the waiters and back again. Naturally I had a soupçon of everything on the menu and wanted to take it all home with me! The Dining room is exquisite and the ambience very suitable. The following year I paid for the in laws to have the same pleasure and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

A truly incredible experience dining here. They happily catered to my dietary requirements. The staff were first class. The food was outstanding. Can't wait to go again.

The set menu was amazing from A to Z. The champagne was incredible perfectly chilled. I started with smoked sea bream then the cod and the caramel souffle. The bread was fresh, at the end of our meal we got some homemade chocolate. One of the best set menus I had in London. Thank you so much!

Had a lovely time on Saturday March 14th dining here, we had a lunchtime menu which was well presented, tasted delicious and enjoyed it ,the service was excellent with full explanation of each course. No complaints from us, I would both return and fully recommend it to any of my friends for a nice experience.

Wonderful tasting menu lunch at The Roux at Landau ...super service, ambiance, food, and wine. A disappointment, single espressos at £6.75 per cup isn’t really a pleasant surprise after spending £550 ... and of course a coffee finish to paint the tongue but shabby to serve espresso with sugar cubes too (widely regarded as cooling espresso and something many espresso drinkers like me frown upon. Otherwise a wonderful experience, but Can Do Better comments aren’t always a part of improving standards hence this note. Looking forward to a return next time in London

We were a party of 14 using the private dining room. Pre drinks in the cocktail bar were excellent with an elegant but buzzy atmosphere. Six course dinner, paired wines, personal waiting staff and a tour of the kitchens all made for a wonderful evening. If you want somewhere special for a dinner celebration in London, think of Roux at the Landau !

What a wonderful restaurant which oozes class from the moment you see it from the outside and from with the hotel. We were served by Darious who could not have been more helpful. The set menu's offer excellent value for money but the A La Carte is a must for the best on the menu such as turbot. Hard to fault. The Breakfast is equally stunning.

We visit this restaurant a couple of times a year and have always found it superb. However on this occasion it surpassed even that standard. The staff as ever were great, but the menu; well it was outstanding. We had the set three course menu and our choices were smoked sea bream, duck and an absolutely wonderful soufflé. A wonderful lunch before an afternoon matinee at a nearby theatre.

Amazing food and service. They made our anniversary really special.

Recordamos a Andrea, el sumiller, y ha hecho un trabajo absolutamente brillante al combinar los vinos con cada plato. Realmente disfrutamos la descripción de cada vino y cómo había sido seleccionado para cada curso. El servicio fue muy amable y eficiente. Una comida realmente agradable!

Excellent food. Service sensational. A very nice meal.

Excellent food and very pleasant waiting staff. We had the set du jour menu for an early dinner. I could easily have had chosen three out of the four starters and similarly with the mains. My only problem was having caramel in two of the three desserts, which is not so good if you're not a big caramel fan. I opted for the cheese, and as usual, they were lovely. I wish they offered the du jour menu when you sit down along with the A la Carte, instead of having to ask for it, which makes you feel a bit awkward. Having said that, we really love the place.

We ate here before going to the London Palladium so arrived early and were out by 7.10pm. It was quiet but that was either because we were early or due to Coronavirus! Staff were charming and food was superb! We had 3 courses and a glass of champagne for £39pp then added wine. We did have an amuse-bouche and lovely bread, then all 4 of us had different dishes from what is quite a short menu. (Don’t mind that as it means it’s all very fresh.) Each dish was tasty and beautifully prepared, nouvelle cuisine-like but satisfying. Highly recommended as an inexpensive way of sampling Michelin standard food.

My partner took me here for our anniversary with the bookatable deal (3 courses and 2 glasses of wine each for £39pp) so an absolute bargain for the quality of food you get!Throughly enjoyed all three courses and would recommend the crisp hens egg to start, the roast duck breast for main and the manjari moelleux for dessert. Service was exceptional, so warm and friendly. The petals were such a lovely touch that you can ask them to do for a small fee after booking.Would come back here in a heartbeat.

Absolutely amazing food. We had the set menu and for the price, the food was delicious. The service was fantastic and all queries were answered. We were made to feel so welcome and relaxed. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

An excellent place to have lunch, the service was second to none; we have been to lots of high end restaurants. We enjoyed our time so much that we even went to the artisan bar and again everything was exceptional.

You won't Roux the day you visited The Landau! When I last reviewed Roux at The Landau I wondered why I had been away so long. Now I have to say the same thing once more. This is a superb restaurant in most every way. The meal itself was up there amongst the best I've ever had. My party of four all felt the same and keep coming back to the matter with another memory or word of praise. The service was caring but discreet. The pre dinner drink at the bar was elegant and a minor accident where we tipped over a glass of Champagne was speedily (and most generously) dealt with. The dining experience was savoured from beginning to end. Our only issue was with a boisterous party of four men dining in an alcove who became louder and louder as time went on. The staff had a few words with them but the apologies and promises the diners gave counted for very little. As we were seated immediately outside the alcove it was, at times, quite unpleasant. Nonetheless, we don't hold the restaurant responsible and they graciously treated us to our coffees and petit fours which we appreciated. We'll treat it as a one-off and will soon return to enjoy the restaurant again.

I took my wife here for her birthday (mainly as we are massive Michel Roux June fans) and we were not disappointed. Such a delicious, rich, indulgent meal. Amazing flavours. Great service and wine. One of the best meals we’ve had for a while. A highlight was the crispy hen egg starter. I also really enjoyed the duck breast. Highly recommended for a special meal.

Service and food were excellent, and reasonably busy on a cold Thursday lunchtime. The large high ceilinged room was a little gloomy.

Took a friend for her birthday on a Vigin Experience package.Three courses plus a glass of wine/champagne.We had an amazing time. The staff looking after us were exemplary. The food will be talked about for a long time.I will be going back even thoughout something to celebrate.

We went here for a birthday celebration and had the tasting menu with wine flight. It was the most amazing experience we’ve had with a tasting menu. The waiters were so attentive and welcoming, the food was exquisite and the wine choices were sensational! They went above and beyond expectations. The waiter even went to the trouble of having the wine choices printed out for us to take home because we asked for their names. It was worth every penny and such a treat!

Very nice setting and the staff are very attentive. The 3-course meal plus two glasses of wine for £40 deal we booked was good value. However, I don't think the food was anywhere near as good as on a previous visit. We did not get any bread on our table, presumably as a cost saving measure due to the "cheap" deal, but really how much money can you save on a few slides of bread and a knob of butter? The good value of the meal deal was obviated by ordering coffee after the meal. I know drinks are where restaurants make most of their profit, but surely £6.75 for a coffee is rather steep by anyone's standards?

Having pre-booked a table for myself & 3 guests to celebrate a 40th Birthday, i was very impressed with the flexibility of the restaurant as one of the guest's had a number of allergens and this was no issue for them. Once arriving we were promptly seated in the luxurious dining area, and the interior decor and atmosphere was fantastic, so welcoming and friendly. We all had the tasting menu and again, the waiter made sure that my friend with allergens was happy with the changes / suggested alterations (which she was) and the order placed. What can i say about the food & wine other than totally mind blowing - so tasty and filling, even though it looks like not much on the plates! very very happy evening with lots of food & wine consumed, amazing experience with top class service from all staff present.

Very nice lunch at Roux, good value for the quality, taste & presentation of the food served. Staff were all very polite and friendly - especially as my friend and I were the last to leave having really taken a long time over our food & drinks. A total pleasure, and we will return.

Definitely recommended - we had the tasting menu with wine to match - the wines were very well described and there was always someone around if we needed something.

The vegetarian option had been updated from our previous visit a couple of months ago but only with a slight twist which was a shame. For a Tuesday night the staff seemed to be run off their feet so not as attentive as normal.

Had a tasting menu , which it has been absolutely fantastic. The service has been absolutely amazing. Our waiter has been really helpful and friendly ( sorry but I can't remember his name , Portuguese guy). 10/10 . Can't wait to be back.

Excellent food and good service! We booked for counter however were given a table upon arrival.

Lovely food, very classy place as expected. Service not as good as one might expect but still very attentive and good on the whole from the welcome to service at our table. Would recommend the pork belly if an option but the hazelnut (marron glace) souffle for dessert a little bland and disappointing - tho the pear sorbet accompaniment to die for! Overall lovely dining experience.

The service was 5 stars. The white wine and the rosé were really nice too. The food, every song ingredient was perfect and so tasty. We did really enjoy the food and the service.

Enjoyed a very good set lunch in a pleasant setting and with attentive service and would definitely return. The set lunch is good value however the bottled water is exceedingly expensive even by central London standards.

I found the food and service excellent, the size of the starter small is the wrong word to describe it it really was one mouthful at these prices wonders expect more. The main course was slightly larger than the starter but still below expectations, I will not be rushing back there in a hurry, to sum up delicious but very mean-spirited

If you have the £39 fixed menu than the true Roux experience will not be savoured. The restaurant itself is quite atmospheric and grand but the staff did not get off to a good start by asking "still or sparkling"? Smoked Sea Bream starter was fine but certainly not memorable. However Glaze Cumbrian Pork Belly had little meat and no crackling with a poor presentation. Manjari Moelleux dessert was tasty but more comfort food than exquisite. Two glasses of wine were included as well as chocolate petit fours. The bill for 4, including service and water, was approximately £48 each. This is reasonable for the area but I found the quality of food disappointing.

We were staying at The Langham and decided to eat at the Roux at the Landau. It's a very grand looking restaurant with a counter in the center of the restaurant where you can eat or have cocktails and tables all around.

We visited Roux at The Landau to celebrate a friends special birthday. It was such a perfect experience that I’m already thinking of heading back next month! Impeccable service from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. Food was beautiful, and the kitchen even managed to tailor the menu to suit the vegan in our group. Recommend the restaurant and will definitely be returning.

For a business lunch this was a great spot. Attentive but not smothering service, expert sommelier offering an alternative unusual selection to accompany our food which was appreciated and not more expensive. The food is superb.

Given that London can be lonely and unfriendly for solo visitors on Christmas Day, I booked dinner for myself and a family member (both visitors to London). The service was excellent as you'd expect, both in the bar and the restaurant. Food was up to the Roux standard. The menu offered sufficient variety, even though it was a special Christmas menu. Expensive, but probably in line with the stature of the chef and the occasion.

Roux at the Landau is a bright, light restaurant in the front, with food that simply bursts with flavour. At £39 for 3 courses, it is excellent value, and I highly recommend it.

Lo visitamos anoche, salida familiar cuando nuestra hija se va de viaje. Tuvimos la oferta especial de mesa abierta de tres platos y dos copas de vino y quedamos muy impresionados. La comida en sí era deliciosa, el vino generoso y de buena calidad y el servicio era esa excelente combinación de amable y excelente. Todos tuvimos diferentes platos y todos disfrutamos muchísimo. Lo más destacado fueron todos los platos principales: pato, panceta de cerdo y bacalao. El entrante de besugo era excelente, muy fresco y todos devoramos nuestros pudines y queso. El restaurante también compró unos dulces chocolates finos para nuestra hija como buena suerte. Muy amable. ¡Lo único que cambiaría es agregar manteles de lino blanco por la noche, por favor! The set lunch at Roux at the Landau, at £39 for 3 courses, is good value for outstanding cooking and food that simply bursts with flavour. The front of the restaurant is light and bright. The service was adequate.

Always enjoy a meal at Roux at The Landau. The food is fantastic, with attentive but non-intrusive service. A place like this with affordable prices is hard to find in London, let alone Central London.

What more can I say other than five stars isn't enough. Exceptional food and service, just wonderful for a special occasion but with an incredible value set menu that makes it an everyday treat.

This is a lovely venue and excellent value for lunch and service. Our favourite was the Manjari Moelleux dessert, but every course was excellent. Once again the Michel Roux influence is superb.

Each dish was perfectly balanced and seasoned. Good number of choices on the menu and nice wines. Price is justified for the food and service you get. Would definitely recommend and go again.

We visited for lunch as part of an offer but were looked after so well. We sat in a booth seat but would have been just as nice to sit at the bar for lunch.

Did the anti-veganuary menu - Foie Gras, followed by Suckling Pig accompanied by Michel Roux’s own Viognier from Languedoc. Spectacularly good and not unreasonably priced. Everyone’s plate went back empty.

A really good experience. Lovely people looking after us..I am the diner from Hell.. Super food. Unfussy, full of flavour. Loved the limited lunch menu . Jealous of the cheese fridge! My only crit is the coffee. I found it bitter and 'thin'. I was expecting a full bodied French coffee. We are already planning a return visit

We booked to celebrate an anniversary and were not disappointed. Staff were pleasant and knowledgable and we were made welcome and seated in a booth. The food and service were excellent and we shall return. The atmosphere was less formal than Le Gavroche but every bit as good.

We were met with a friendly face at reception and it just kept getting better the service was superb, sommelier made the evening complete with his expert advice fantastic food, superb ambience then superb wine to really top off a wonderful experience. I can’t speak to highly of the staff a real credit to the restaurant.

Good choice on 3 course set menu. Food was solid, not spectacular. Experience hugely improved by very relaxed and friendly service from arrival to departure. At table, efficient and unobtrusive service. Lovely setting. Tables decently spaced (for central London anyway). No endless attempts to upsell. The champagne included in the deal was Taittinger and a generous glass. Delicious sourdough bread included and a fresh basket willingly brought when I dropped a slice on the floor. Well done, Roux at The Landau. The food, perfectly nice as it was, may not be the very best in town but you got so many things right which upscale restaurants in central London just can’t seem to manage to do.

I had a lovely lunch here. The food is solid, if not entirely innovative. The atmosphere is lovely. The waiting staff are quite nice, without being too into your face. We told them we had to be out by a certain hour, and they were very attentive to that, which I really appreciated. The only things I'd like to see improved if possible, are: (1) I wish they had table cloth. With the price you're paying, you'd expect that. (2) The butter that came with the bread basket was so cold. It should be room temperature (again, for a restaurant at this price point). (3) The noise level is a bit high. I think it's due to all the metallic(?) decor and the lack of table cloth (or fabric-covered spaces) that's contributing to this. I had a lunch with a friend, but I wouldn't do a business lunch here, even though the setting is nice because it's a bit difficult to have a conversation. Not impossible, but a bit straining. (4) The presentation of the food could be a bit improved, I feel. It's not horrific as it is, but it could be made prettier :) Having said all this, I would return.

Always and without fail, impeccable service, especially from the front of house team. Great food, beautifully presented. It is quite simply my favourite breakfast venue in London.

Another great meal. The tasting menu, with accompanying wine, was delicious, the service once again exceptional. This really is a fabulous and quite special restaurant.

Fanatasic tasting meal, amuse bouche was a parmesan cheese sauce ball concoction, followed by salmon tar tar which was well balanced with the right amount of acidity to cut through. Then a fois gras parmesan soup/emulsion which was incredibly rich, perhaps my least favourite dish but still enjoyable, the incredible sourdough came to the rescue to break up the richness. Then we had the day boat cod, very fresh and served with spinach and a seafood sauce with hen of the wood mushrooms. The mushrooms were firm and had a slight meatiness about them which elevated the dish, my only criticism was perhaps a touch over seasoned with the salty seaweed sauce. The star dish followed, turbot with langoustines with a bisque sauce, incredible, perfectly cooked and really enjoyable. Bisque packed full of flavour which complimented and enhanced the dish. My wife went for the venison which she was equally pleased with. Then a pre dessert of kalamansi and chocolate, a citrus fruit I've never heard of, but very tasty, a clever take on chocolate and orange, the right amount of texture with some ice cream too which worked well. Then the last dish was served, a lovely marrons glacé soufflé, (candied chestnut) with a pear and honey sorbet, perfectly risen and firm but also creamy at the bottom with a nutty bite. Lastly some chocolate thins with our coffees, overall very enjoyable and will be returning. I also opted for the standard wine flight option which came with 5 glasses of wine which certainly complemented the dishes perfectly.
