A lovely independent pub with a relaxed vibe. Great and extensive beer selection and the food was delicious. The ketchup deserves its own sentence - who knew adding vodka would do the trick. It was lovely

Good music, great atmosphere, very kind and friendly staff. They have plenty of beers to choose from, either a pint or half of it. More or less alcoholic. Delicious burgers and potatoes. Highly suggested if you're in the area.

Great pub with a large selection of craft beer. What is on tap constantly changes so there is always a great new beer to try. Staff are friendly and welcoming and always helpful in deciding what beers to choose. They do a great burger here too

Fantastiskt utbud av goda öl. Största utbudet av de 7-8 pubar vi besökte. Trevlig och kunnig personal. Eftersom vi bodde på hotell precis i närheten blev det vårt stamhak den vecka vi var där. Kommer definitivt besöka detta ställe nästa gång jag är i London

Utterly LOVE this place for the burgers. Appreciate others love it for the beer but for me, the burgers are some kind of special. Proper home made, hearty, full you up, leave you satisfied, proper burger. 💯 Recommend.

Owner treated us like regulars; regulars all addressed by name. Terrific buzzing atmosphere but v fast & friendly service on a Fri evening. Not your average London bar! Wide range of well-kept cask that's clearly turned over frequently. Didn't really bother with the keg but it appeared wide-ranging and popular too - inc. N/A offerings and beers like Tilquin. Great range of soft drinks too which was great as I had an 11 year old with me. The bottle range & vintage cellar are bonkers - if I lived here or visited more often I'd be happily working my way through that list! Burgers were tasty. Will return.

(June 2010) First pub outing on my very brief London jaunt and I hit the ground running. Very comfortable single room pub that is clearly devoted to good beer. 19 taps including Brewdog, Thornbridge, Darkstar, Mort Subite and Andechser. About 30 - 40 bottles including various lambics and Rochefort. A touch out of the way but well worth it. Service VG. I’d love to own a pub like this.

The best beer selection in central London there is usually a great choice, it always has something new to try. The food is mainly burgers and there are snacks. It can get busy in the evening

A joyful place - I was lucky enough to catch some live music on my visit, but the place was also full of families and couples. They happen to have a great selection of beer too, in case that’s your thing ;-)

London is packed (though it's never enough, of course) with characterful pubs, serving great food and beer, often with significant heritage and exemplary quality. This is not a heritage pub or an "old fashioned boozer" in any way but I've been there a couple of times over the years and always been amazed at the range of top quality ale. Very, very good.

There will be a beer here you will like, and they will find it for you. They simply will.

Expectational pub, if you love beer, this is your place!! All sorts of flavours and varieties - quite innovative and creative id say. I love their only cider they do too - really tasty.

This pub scores incredibly highly for choice of beers with a fantastic selection. I was spoilt for choice. Food was OK and the pub felt really cold so bring a jumper! Definitely a place for a good pint.

Visited twice over the weekend. Fantastic range of drinks (not just beer). There was live music on Sunday evening and food is available, but we didn't sample. Very welcoming pub with great atmosphere.

We only drank, but the food looked very good.

Landmark beer venue in Pimlico. Massive range of beer and knowledgeable staff. Good atmosphere. Little bit male-heavy (clientele) but all friendly. Recommended. (Didn’t eat so the 5* for food reflects the beer range)

A Pimlico oasis in a mad mad world (No Passport Required). An overwhelming selection of beers both from the keg and cask. Great fun with a delightful gentleman running the bar today! He has a great fashion sense too, shirts from Zegerman on Neal Street and from Wolff Blitz in Rotterdam. I love the "Vintage Cellar" selection. A lovely place and easy to find! Pop I. Lovely venue with excellent fare and an even more beguiling decor. Whilst a non-beer drinker, the range of brews on offer looked tantalising and varied.

My wife and I come in once or twice a week. Peter (the owner) is always fantastic and somehow always has time to say hello, no matter how busy the bar is. The selection is incredible, so if you love beer you’ve come to the right spot! It is the best pub in London, unmatched when it comes to variety and service. I’m happy to be a regular at this lovely establishment

Sadly we didn't get to try the food as they were chef had just started cleaning the cooker, which seemed odd as you'd have thought they would do that before opening, true we were there just after 12, but still. Was looking forward to a burger with my pint. Selection of craft was astounding if arguably more expensive than I would have expected for the quality. 9quid for a pint of 4% sesh ale, you'd expect it to be verdant level. Sadly it was not. Saying that not everywhere has a lambic and a saison on draft. The saison, an odd muted affair. Thankfully the lambic was a winner, even respectable at 8quid for a third, considering a bottle usually goes for North of 20quid atleast. The barman was very pleasant and greeted us enthusiastically and even gave us a little background to the beers, if we weren't already aware that is. Will definitely visit again though, if we're ever in that part of town

Fairly unassuming from the outside, it has a modern and friendly inside. First blessing was that the music, unlike a lot of other pubs, isn't too loud to have a conversation through. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their wide array of beers. Prices were surprisingly reasonable too. Definitely recommend this place .

The place is great in everything. The original ambiance it creates, its wide variety of excellent beers etc. But most importantly, the owner's sincere kindness and friendly conversation. I really enjoyed being here for 2 evenings of my trip. Thank you very much. He is probably the only business owner in my life whose hand I shook and said goodbye to when leaving.

Small pub. A few tools, but most of the patrons were standing outside on the pavement drinking. The old atmosphere that I associated with pubs in London was missing.

Cannot give more stars because 5/5 is the highest. The food is incredible! I had a mushroom and hallumi burger and every single ingredient was perfect! Also, the variety and quality of beers is great! Music, atmosphere, service… everything was awesome! Thank you! We’ll definitely come back as make it our local favourite go-to!

A pub done right. The selection beers is fantastic, if you like a drink, but not just to get drunk, here is a great place to enjoy a fine ale or lager. The gentlemen behind the bar was very pleasant to talk to. We bought a couple of burgers, and they were absolutely delicious. Coming back here for sure.

Always love my visits to this wonderful Pimlico ale house Not a dud pint in my countless selections. They love cask and craft beer as much as I do. Food is classic and expertly sourced local butcher burgers and pork pies Sunday afternoon generally has a bluegrass jam that is very popular. The staff are warm and helpful. The customers diverse. The atmosphere has a relaxed respectful vibe. When the playlist starts classic Brit tunes and 60’s retro, the combination between 60’s inspiration and contemporary best of Britain is complete. This is a pub for the community not for the divisive or the haters. Love reign o’er me from The who’s quadophenia is just playing now. Top marks.

Ordered a burger which taste was superb but a little bit overcooked and dry for me. The variety and quality of beers is amazing, loved it. Overall will recommend and define will be back.

Fantastic selection of beers. Really friendly and helpful staff. The manager is a great chap, really cares and always up for a chat. The crowd is generally good. Ambiance is good. The one downside is that this will not be your cheapest trip to the pub. Come in recognising that and you'll have a lovely time.

Had Lakedown pale Ale and a couple of Lakedown Firefall. Both beers were fantastic. Bar staff were helpful, and the beers I had were on their recommendation after I said what I liked. Definitely worth a visit.

Came for the vintage cellar but left very disappointed. The prices are just insane. For example, they are asking £115 bottle of Cantillon 50°N from 2022. For context, Cantillon are currently selling a bottle of the 2023 50°N for €14 directly from the brewery, meaning you can get a return Eurostar ticket, come home with a few bottles to spare, and still be left with change in the pocket compared to what Cask are charging. Maybe the 2022 version is worth a 10x mark up though? Not wanting a wasted trip I ordered a Pannepot Vintage from 2016 for £16 (in Belgium this would cost around half this price). Despite being a young beer relatively, it had soured so clearly had not been stored well. This place is no Kulminator unfortunately.

Nice pub, great selection of beers with nice glasses. The toilets smelt of strawberries and were lovely and clean which is a rare find in London!

Random walk in, didn't check the reviews, walked to the bar and was blown away by the choice. I went with the Martina and it's so damn bloody good. These guys know and love good beer it appears. If here check out the vintage beer menu too.... Wow... Wasn't surprised to see here get a 4.6 on Google, the owners know their stuff and the staff friendly. Nice atmosphere and a real good 70s/80s playlist too... Bravo Peter and Martin.
