Just rude and odd behaviour from the outset. Sausage sandwich was nice, but would never revisit as staff attitudes stunk.

However, when went into the cafe I accidentally knocked a picture frame off the wall on seating at the table. Despite trying to stop the frame from falling on the floor, the picture frame glass smashed on the floor. I started to pick up the broken glass when the owner came over with a dustpan & brush. She picked up the frame 1st & slammed it on the table saying nothing despite the fact that I said sorry & started to sweep up the glass. My husband looked at me when she slammed the frame down on the table & acknowledged for us to leave the cafe as we weren’t being subject to this rudeness. On exiting the tiny cafe a customer at another table commented that the pictures on the wall in this area weren’t in a very good position anyway. I commented to the owner that her manner wasn’t welcoming & her response was “are you on a period!” Certainly not the response I expected!. We had only gone in to enjoy the food we had been recommended & instead got a load of abuse from her. Sadly we left without having anything. Thank you for your welcome & hospitality!!!! Wouldn’t have even given a 1star rating for that treatment.

We here stopped here as one of children felt unwell and my wife decided to walk them to our destination at Bolton Abbey. We were informed that we were on private property and if we did not buy something we would receive a £100 fine! We were literally stopped for 2minutes! Beggars belief the behaviour of the person running the place, rude unhelpful and quite frankly horrible behaviour. DO NOT VISIT…

Stopped off at this cafe as we always do when in the area, never had a problem.with the place before. I'm not sure if the thick set blonde wearing glasses behind the counter owns the place but her attitude and rudeness toward paying customers will definitely deter people from visiting again! She was extremely sarcastic and rude to 3 members of our party and toward another couple who were in the queue behind us. Totally uncalled for and nothing less than the behaviour of a lowly bully! If you want return custom, this women needs to have a word with herself or the owner have a word with her. She is definitely not a credit to this cafe which is usually a good stop off.

I must have passed this cafe hundreds of times on a daily commute but never stopped. This morning My wife and I happened to be stopping nearby and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! We had a sausage & egg and bacon & egg sandwich with two teas to go. Food was very clean and tasty. The eggs were spot on, with just enough runny yoke but not too much that it spurted out everywhere. Sausages were meaty without being gristly. I’ll be stopping more often :)

Upon visiting the Steam railway we decided to pop in here for breakfast. I ordered a full English and my wife wanted a bacon, sausage and mushroom sandwich. The lady behind the counter was very abrupt "If you look at the menu we don't do mushrooms!!" when I apologised she replied "well just read the menu, we are busy enough as it is!!" Ah well, guess it's just a clicky bikers caf where outsiders are unwelcome. Certainly won't be returning

So says hubby who eats maybe three burgers a year. It was as big as it's very substantial bun with salad, bacon and real cheese melted to gooey perfection. For my part I had eggs Benedict with delicious pan cooked poached eggs, my only criticism being it would have been nicer for the bread to be toasted

Called for breakfast today, was really impressed. Good choices. It only small but offers a huge warm welcome. We choose the small breakfast which came with coffee or tea and a slice of toast, for £5.50 excellent value for money. Cooked to order.

Visit for a quick family breakfast on our way up north. Ordered four breakfasts which all came at very different times - half of us had finished before some had even arrived. The cafe had run out of lots of key ingredients such as ham and the hot drinks we ordered came after we'd finished our breakfasts despite ordering at the same time - when they did arrive the tea tasted foisty from the water tank. It was also freezing inside and we all ate our breakfast with our coats on. Obviously the cafe is very popular with bikers as they were queuing out of the door... but the people eating inside, ordering meals and spending more money are sidelined to serve 10 cups of tea to bikers sat outside… overall a bit of a letdown, especially in an area with so much choice

. No hay problema!. ! !

As a biker calling to have a breakfast to set his days ride up, or just someone taking his elderly parents out for tea and cake, this lovely cafe always has the most wonderful welcome given by Audrey and Sean plus their amazing staff.Whether a biker or not you will be greeted with a friendly smile, served top notch food from a bacon sarni to eggs royale... the best tasting coffee... and I have to add ... the absolutely best tasting lemon drizzle cake anywhere.(I know... I'm a specialist sampler!).During spring and summer there is also a late night for bikers to meet up and enjoy each others company. How on earth anyone can give this establishment one star is beyond me... and really needs to have a serious word with themselves. Can I add I am not related in any way to the owners, I'm just a simple extremely happy customer who has a 110 mile round trip to visit route 59... and will continue to do so,enjoying the best cafe I know hopefully for a long time to come.

If there were only 1 place I could visit for food ever again, it'd be here 1000%. Can't fault at all. Friendly. Accepting. And will go the extra mile if you have special requirements (I rang ahead stating I was bringing vegan friends, Audrey went out to buy appropriate items for them). Even following the tragic and sudden death of their son (head chef), the family and friends continued to keep the cafe open and putting up with all us bikers. Route 59 cafe is like an extended family to anyone who visits.

I am sure the food would be good if you could get some! When I was there - about 10.00a.m. Sunday morning - there was only one lady staff member there who was clearly overwhelmed when about a dozen bikers arrived at more or less the same time most wanting food as well as a drink. Not her fault, she was doing her best I could see. I settled for a cup of coffee in the end.(ps: When 2 more staff arrived, neither were cooks, 1 bloke, generally 'assisting', one elderly lady, working the till but unable to make an americano.)

After reading a few good reviews we decided to visit for breakfast. Nice atmosphere and a good selection of food choices from toast, eggs benedict, soup and full English breakfast. We ordered 2 full English, 1 large @ £5.95 and 1 small @ £4.95 and waited about 20 minutes. Nice looking breakfast on the plate but it wasn't hot at all. Sent it back and it was blasted in the microwave. Although hotter no attention to detail in making the plate of food looking less like a splattered mess! Disappointed in staff and their approach and quality of breakfast.

Stopped today with Mum for a quick lunch and we were nicely surprised. We both ordered the same dish 'eggs benedict' - 1 muffin (cut into 2 with a rasher of bacon and a poached egg on both half and hollandaise sauce on top.) Cup of freshly grounded americano & tea. We both really enjoyed our meal. It was a simple meal that was freshly made. There's plenty of free off road parking.A varied menu.Outside tables.Very friendly staff.Clean.Whilst we ate there was a constant supply of customers - some regulars - some just stopping by.I would definitely use again.A great place to eat prior to visiting Skipton - Bolton Abby - Embsay Railway or Ilkley.
