Nice hideaway as everything else around Leicester Sq was very busy & we couldn’t find seats. Music wasn’t great. The person behind the bar wasn’t very enthusiastic. It was ok, glad we got a seat in the pub, but it wouldn’t be my favourite sorry. Maybe on a different day - different music/crowd etc. ladies toilets upstairs. Older child friendly on weekends. We didn’t eat.

I held an event upstairs at the Round Table for runners after the London Landmarks Half Marathon and had a great experience! The staff were really accommodating and friendly, plus the room was really cosy and perfect for our needs. Would definitely visit again!

Great pub, nice service but needs a better selection of cask ales

As a very central pub for a drink this was great for us, quiet and good beer on tap. The food however was so diabolical that it was hilarious. This pic is of the honey mustard sausages from the small plates menu. A load of dry tasteless chipolatas thrown on a plate. I didn't take a pic of the crispy smashed potatoes but they were literally boiled new potatoes a bit squashed. Hysterical! Maybe we should have said something, but it was honestly so awful that we just got up and went to find some other food before our theatre show.

La comida, sin embargo, no era genial. I haven’t been her for about 7 years so it was nice to be back to meet up with some old colleagues. I arrived with my dog and asked the person behind the bar for some water for him; she obliged but also offered to put in some ice which he lapped up. She also gave him a few doggie treats. For me it still had the atmosphere and character I remember but with some changes. The food came out promptly, it was hot and tasty. The last time I was here was for my leaving do which was tarnished by the attitude of the manager of the time and as a result I stopped going in there but the service we received today means the next time I’m in London I will definitely meet my friends here.

Great old cosy little pub with enough seating inside and more table and chairs outside. I went for a couple of drinks was a great time and good atmosphere. Bar staff was really polite. It's a pub at the end of the day so if you like the rustic look and feel with little lighting which creates a dark atmosphere you'll definitely like this pub. You can still see inside it's not pitch black dark, lol. I prefer the older looking pubs rather than the modern pubs/sports bar.

Great atmosphere and lovely staff!

I was in town meeting a friend for the day. Sadly I had not booked anywhere for dinner, so we decided to chance our luck at the Round Table. It was bustling inside with a mixture of tourists and professionals. You felt like you were in the heart of London. Service at the bar was quick depsite how populer it seemed. My friend didn't know what to drink and the bar staff were very helpful in aiding their choice. We shared some chicken wings for starters and for the main we both chose off the pub classics. My scampi was yummy. A great pub with an vibrant atmosphere. I will definitely come back here next time I am in London!

Pop onto this hidden little gem of a pub, just off the Main Street. Staff are friendly and good beers and food on offer. Highly recommend in my opinion.

Service was fine and liked that it was not too loud inside. This pub is ok for getting a drink but the burger was very bad. Do not order any burgers here, you will be disappointed. Meat was completely dry, dense and rubbery, absolutely tasteless. Charging 15 pounds for this should be a crime and seems that the place should change whoever is cooking them. However, the “sticky chicken” we got was actually very good, can recommend that 100%

Visited on a Saturday afternoon—wasn’t too busy, but I stood at the bar for 15 minutes without being served, so I left. There was a sign asking for a review, so here you go: probably not ideal to have just one person running front of house for the entire pub on a weekend.

Expensive, even for the area, which is a shame because it's a nice little pub... But fine for a quick one before the theatre or whatever.

I went in to get some bitter beer from one of the pumps. The bar staff looked disinterested and lazy. When one finally served me, I asked for a pint of Abbot Ale. He looked at another member of staff and they shook their heads. I asked them why they hadn't turned the pumps round and they said none of them are available, all four. They didn't care at all. I turned round and left, so disappointed.

The place is really nice. And Vaibhav is really helpful and hardworking, he helped us and made our visit worthy, all thanks to him.

Great pub! Whenever I'm in Leicester Square I pop down for a Guinness, and the food is excellent too! Neha and Ibbi always sort me out, service is great and the atmosphere is brilliant.

Old town pub with a great society connection in a secret part of the West End. In the Soho, Covent Garden borderlands down a piece of history street, this is great for town pub experience in the big city. Large pillars separate & privatise the internal drinking space in an L around L bar with beautiful painted glass back bar mirror. A good selection of beer on draught serve a quiet London crowd of friendly couples. Pattern papered ceiling wraps to walls around high & low seating plus leather studded perimeter bench & pillar perching. The o traffic street offers excellent London street drinking. There's a great collection of modern London pop & art culture art in a pop lively music vibe. Happy, engaging London pub service with added conversation elevates this pub. There's still plenty of heritage styling & discreet features to keep the character of this hidden hideaway worth finding.

Thankfully the weather was good to us as we sat outside and had a meal. A little bit of a queue at the bar but the food was tasty and filling.

Very nice pub located between Leicester Square and Covent Garden. A little less popular than its neighbors, perhaps because of its atmosphere, perhaps too simple. However, this makes it a good place to have a beer away from the hustle and bustle of London.

We booked a table online FOR FOOD, firstly when we arrived the table was not ready. After waiting for a table to be cleaned we sat down squashed in with barely any space to breathe! On going to the bar to order we were then told that the kitchen may be closed...when we had specifically booked a table for food!!! We were then told we could still order and as it was order at the bar we put our orders through separately (rather than transferring money to each other), by the time the last one of us got to order she was then told the kitchen was closed and we had to explain that she was part of our table. Staff then very reluctantly took her order. We were a table of 4 and 2 of our meals came in good time however the other 2 came out 20/25 minutes later!! After the first 2 were finished. And that only seemed to be because we chased it. Now I appreciate we ordered separately, but I have never been somewhere before where this is the case and meals have come out so far apart. Good staff should keep track of multiple orders for one table and inform the kitchen/prepare accordingly! It's not even as if we all ordered different things, 3 of us had the festive pie which could definitely have been made at the same time. The food was average at best, nothing special. The stuffing was missing from the Christmas dinner and when we told staff we were just told the kitchen must have run out, nothing else offered. The bar service was awful. I ordered one of the festive cocktails and the barman had no idea how to make it and had to ask another member of staff to do it. The staff in general were completely disinterested and we felt like we were in the way for daring to order food or drink from a place that sells food and drink. We honestly feel completely let down by the whole experience and won't be returning. If the kitchen closes when busy then table bookings for food should not be taken in the first place and should be walk ups. And staff need to be trained not just in hospitality but in how to make the drinks on offer before you offer them!

Reserve una comida para 1730 y nuestra mesa tenía un aviso reservado con mi nombre. I had an amazing experience at the green king table, the service was great. The fish and chips, turkey pie and mashed potatoes. The bar service was incredible, will definitely come back again.

I didn’t expect to have this much bad pub food in UK, especially chips was terrible. You can come fore drink, though. They give you free beer until 12th December. Don’t forget to connect their wifi and claim your code for feee beer :)

I happened to stop by while looking for a good fish and chips restaurant. This was my 4th visit to London, England, so I actually didn't have any expectations about the menu itself, but this restaurant was better than I expected. The fried fish and chips were very crispy and the fish meat was very moist. The french fries that came with it were also very salty, so it was by far the best fish and chips I've ever had in the UK. Even the staff are very friendly. The man pouring beer at the bar and the woman in charge of the hall are very friendly. If there's one thing that's disappointing, the beer selection is a bit limited. It would be nice to have a light and refreshing style Lager like Bud light, and it would be even better to have a popular beer like Stella artois. There are a lot of taps, but the variety of beer is a bit disappointing. Other than that, everything is satisfactory. The outdoor tables have a nice atmosphere, and the interior has a nice atmosphere as well. It has a British feel. Highly recommended.

Surprisingly lovely, laid back pub in the back street from Leicester Square Station and away from all the bustle and hustle. We enjoyed beers and chips. Service and ambience were great.

A nice and central spot to have a beer and grab a bite. Entering a side street, you get away from the crowd of the area, and the fact that there are plenty of seating options both inside and outside is a plus. The prices are on par with the area and, like the rest of the city's tourist spots, a bit expensive. A pint of beer is over 7 pounds. Overall, I recommend it for taking a break from your trip and relaxing for 1-2 hours.

Steak and Ale Pie and Steak Sandwich were delicious and the waitress was extremely nice. Would come back any time.

We bought a pint and a glass of house white. I had a couple of sips of the wine and realised it was off, it tasted more like a cheap cider. My partner took it back and explained the situation to the barmaid who was quite rude. Her first response was "well you did order house white" and she was generally a bit snobbish and dismissive. My partner insisted it wasn't right regardless of it being a house wine so she then spoke to her manager. Thankfully the manager was a lot more helpful and admitted the bottle had been open a while so was probably off! They replaced it with a freshly opened bottle which was much better. I appreciate these things happen so it's no big deal but the barmaids initial response was not nessessery and didn't make us want to stay for another. Location-wise it's a handy spot and there were plenty of outside seats so it's a shame the staff didn't make us feel more welcome otherwise we could have happily stayed longer.

Very disappointing experience. We made a reservation way beforehand, explaining we come with a dog. Got a very friendly reply and all was fine. The day itself when we arrived we got seated at very high tables at the toilet door. Not so dog friendly. It looked like our reservation wasn't even taken care off. Big let down and not so customer friendly. We went to another pub nearby that the staff even recommended themselves.
