Rotisserie - Harrods in Kensington and Chelsea

The food was good. Portion size was good. I would suggest go early in the day. That’s when there’s more options, some food would be sold out. Mac and cheese is good. If it’s later on day, potato is a bit dry.

Harrods rotisserie is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates rotisserie done right! The restaurant offers a casual atmosphere with an inviting aroma of slow-roasted chicken that sets the mood as soon as you walk in. Their rotisserie chicken is the highlight—perfectly seasoned, with tender, juicy meat and a crispy, flavorful skin that’s simply addictive. I tried the classic rotisserie chicken with a side of house fries and pomme purée which complemented the chicken beautifully and tasted homemade. The menu also includes a range of other comforting dishes, but the rotisserie items are truly the stars here. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the entire experience easy and enjoyable.

Health and safety concern multiple times made complaints. No manager available on the food Hall area next to the rotisserie carving station. Carving pork and chicken on the same cutting board‼️‼️‼️‼️ Manhandling food ‼️‼️‼️ Lack of trained staff or supervision by management ‼️‼️‼️ Chip shop or Harrods … seriously !!!!

The waitress was grotesque, and poorly polite. She is new I think. We were seated at the bar, she wanted to get us out at all costs, even though we are regular customers every time we visit London, fortunately her colleague saved the day, and he apologized in her place. It's good but it's very very expensive for fast food: chicken, fries and water. for three people: 200 pounds

Fair warning. This is not the old Rotisserie with counter service that was ripped out in favour of a modern food hall. I suspect the current high rating is a hold over from reviews of the old space. This is now simply an overpriced chicken on a spit in the prepare food section.

I love this place, specially their burger and their baby chicken. Ofcourse its overpriced but its justified as its inaide harrods 😂. Food : 8/10 Service : 6/10 Value for money : 2/10 Price : £60-70 for burger and chips with a coca cola

After waiting for 10 minutes to be served and reaching the front of the queue. We were told to go to the back of the queue again. Needless to say we didn't queue for a second time. This is not the kind of service we would expect from Harrods

terrible service . they made me repeat the order 4x, and asked the same questions multiple times and drained me by the end of it. food is great though. Regina was quite antagonistic.

Highest expectations at Harrod's, so I was disappointed overall. I waited a pretty long time to be greeted by my server and he was scarce throughout my meal. I ordered a Kobe burger and fries. The burger was great, but not 35GBP great. The fries were chewy and lukewarm, not fresh. I had a great South African red wine - Chocolate something or other. I love Harrod's architecture, decorations, the crowd and the vibe, but the meal was bit of a let down.

After walking for more than 20 kilometers in our first day in London with my wife, sitting down and ordering the best meal at Harrods made our day. There was a long line in this part of Harrods and I told my wife that I would wait for the next chair to be empty. We were not disappointed! My wife and I ordered Rhug Estate Organic Chicken (Specialty of the house) as well as half duck. It was truly delicious and mouth watering. What a way to end the day with this these meal. Likewise, the service was great because we were served by a fellow countryman from Manila.

We were visiting Harrods and came across the Rotisserie with the yummy looking chicken being roasted in the background that we decided to have lunch there. Service staff was very attentive and good with their recommendation. We ordered the whole roast chicken and roast beef. Both of them were delicious and highly recommended. Sitting is limited as this is just a U-shaped bar-top counter. Overall, a delightful experience for our first lunch in London.

Staff kept an efficient eye on seating as it became available, and the number in each party waiting. Ordered the baby chicken with saffron rice. Chicken was unlike other rotisseries I’ve had. Yes, seating is at the counter, but enjoyed the atmosphere. There’s a hook (one for each seat) under the counter to hold jackets or handbags. Staff was attentive with our drinks. Observed other patrons and everyone appeared to enjoy the meals.

La comida es excelente, comimos ambos 1/2 pato asado que estaba excepcionalmente hecho. Acompañado por dos gaseosas. Es cocina autenticamente gourmet, este restaurante tiene los asientos en la barra, con taburetes muy comodos. El precio por 2 1/2 pato + 2 gaseosas total 62.70 libras pero vale la pena conocer estos lugares de autentica comida gourmet.

Dopo aver curiosato per la grande food hall abbiamo preso posto sul bancone con davanti la cucina e alle spalle le splendide decorazioni in art-noveau e con il design particolare delle lavagne con scritto il menu e i prezzi. Personale attento e cordiale, il menu scelto "leg of lamb with mixed vegetable" piatto completo e gustoso, certo i prezzi sono alti; ma Harrods e mitico.

Alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare bene senza svenarci (Londra è tutto fuorché economica) siamo andati a mangiare alla Rosticceria di Harrods e sebbene fossimo vicini all'orario di chiusura siamo stati accolti con grande cortesia e professionalità da un cameriere italiano che ci ha servito un pollo veramente gustoso e ben cucinato. Abbiamo cenato in due con circa 35 sterline che per Londra dire i sia un ottimo prezzo. Simpatica la location : si mangia ad un bancone con vista della cucina seduti su comodissimi sgabelli. Tantissimi complimenti al cameriere italiano ed alla supervisor polacca per la loro cortesia e professionalità un "plus" che non ha prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente.

There's a line up galore at the Harrods Food Hall. We chose Rotisserie to join its line up. It does not have tables. Everyone eats at the bar. If you are not very tall and have lots of bags or a heavy handbag, it can be intimidating. The Menu is both the walls and available in traditional format. If you happened to sit on the sides, you can actually see the Chef cooking. His speedy hands and accuracy in timing and serving are a show to itself.

On recommendation from a friend, i took the taste challenge for some of this rotisserie chicken. Everything was well season and tender, but the wait was a little long. There was a pretty good wine selection as well and the staff was very nice. only drawback was I thought the meal was a little overpriced. Despite this I enjoyed the time here.

My daughter and I were on a bus tour which happened to stop in front of Harrods very close to lunchtime. I knew that it was a landmark, and a "must see", so we jumped off. I had heard that they have an incredible variety of food, so we decided to treat ourselves.

You're at Harrods so of course the meal will be on the expensive side but it was delicious. I had the half-chicken and the meat was delicious! I'd stop again as a treat but the price will keep me away from being a regular visitor.

Had the half chicken and it came out a bit pink. I told the wait staff but they didn't offer any discount or anything. She agreed that there was an issue with the chicken. I was too shy to ask her for a discount. The top half of the chicken was cooked and it was decent. The bottom wasn't and was pink. Wasn't cheap at all. Usually Harrods is good for this sorta food but not today.

A great way to spend a cold day. The roast birds have always been a favorite. That coupled with some mash potatoes and an ale make for a big and hearty lunch.

Ordered the daily special lamb shank and the baby chicken to share. Really like the lamb shank. The baby chicken is also very juicy. Was a good meal.

My partner and I always visit this restaurant as the service is always impeccable. The two managers are always so welcoming and friendly. They are always polite and remember our faces. I have never received such good service anywhere else and the food is just delicious- perfect every time.

Da Harrods si possono comprare tanti cibi di qualità da portar via. Attendendo un po' si riesce a consumarne anche seduti su un trespolo a contatto di gomito con gli altri commensali per caso. Ho ordinato l'anatra marinata nell'arancia e cotta al forno con contorno di riso speziato, un bicchiere di ottimo vino rosso, una bottiglietta di acqua minerale e un caffè americano. La qualità del cibo è stata alta, l'anatra era ben rosolata, saporita e morbidissima internamente. Il vino proposto dalla operatrice a calice era delizioso. Il prezzo di circa 40 sterline è stato decisamente eccessivo rispetto alla logistica e al servizio (rapido, efficiente, cortesissimo ma effettuato al bancone...). Ma Harrods è Harrods...

Este restaurante restaurante/figura bellamente te sientas (bar de estilo) alrededor del enorme horno de tostar en uno de los pasillos de la comida. Mientras que el menú no es extenso y bastante caro (bueno, Harrods después de todo), sin duda vale la pena. He seleccionado el pollo asado bebé y no me decepcionó, como era el mejor pollo asado que he comido. Mi marido tenía el mismo y estuvo de acuerdo. Volveré solo para esa sola comida! ! !

Okay it's Harrods so you are already expecting the best well you will not be disappointed. What I liked the best was apart from the great food, is that we did not feel out of place, the staff made us feel very welcome, atmosphere and decor is great, we were planing to eat here until we read the menue and decided it was affordable. Enjoy

JMJ We might think we have fancy stores in the U.S. and some of ours are great but Harrods takes things to another higher level. The beauty and selection are awesome! The taste is very good. Make this a sure stop on your next trip to London!

Long queue due to low number of seats. A bit above average food. Baby chicken is too dry. Black chicken is fine and juicy. Fine beer. Attentive waiters. Food quality is 3.5 stars. High price not matching food quality results in 3 stars.

The food court in Harrod's was amazing! While there are many restaurants from which to choose, we selected to have a light dinner at the Rotisserie. As they were roasting chickens, we selected a chicken Caesar salad. Excellent quality! All of the restaurants here are pricey, but the quality is excellent, and the service is fast. Most of the restaurants feature counter service with padded bar stools made out of marble. Nice atmosphere.

Excellent restaurant. Good, quick service and great quality food. Prices are inflated but in line with restaurants both in Harrods and around the area.Our side portion of roast potatoes was very well done and you could tell they had been cooked for a while and reheated however these were removed from the bill as it would have apparently taken 20 minutes for more to be ready. The main courses were superbly cooked and came within a couple of minutes of ordering.Overall a nice dining experience with the ambience you would expect from Harrods.

We ate lunch here and the food was wonderful. My daughter had the Ox cheeks and ate every bite. I enjoyed the Chicken Ceaser salad and my friend who is a vegetarian had mac and cheese and a Greek salad, all was enjoyed.

TL;DR- Fantastic ambience - Attentive and friendly staff- Generous portions that are seasoned well- Half chicken with rice and a soft drink = £35Chicken is my thing. No matter what restaurant I dine at, I always find myself ordering chicken and when I found out that Harrods had a rotisserie, I went there faster than you could say Kentucky Fried. It's that deep. The Rotisserie has an open kitchen with counter seating, you have to queue before being allocated a spot and I queued for approximately 5 minutes. I ordered a half chicken with saffron rice and it arrived within 10 minutes. The portions were very generous, the chicken was seasoned well and fell off of the bone with relative ease. Nothing irritates me more than dry chicken that requires a chainsaw to plough through it. The rice stole the show though, it was ever-so fragrant, soft and delicious. I will be dreaming about that rice tonight :'). The vegetables that accompanied the chicken were also cooked to perfection. I had such a fabulous lunch and will definitely be ordering take-out from here/dining again. I'd like to thank Ivan for being extremely attentive and friendly. Overall, I give the Rotisserie a 10/10.

When visiting Harrods, Rotisserie serves a nice roast may be a bit expensive but remember where you are and the convenience.

This eatery is a must visit whenever You are near Harrods. However, the half chicken I ordered was way too big for lunch. Check for smaller portions. The chefs are experts in what they do. If you love chicken, then this is the place to come. To top it all off - the beer was ice cold! These guys really know how to do it!

It may sound too absolute to say The Best.....but i have never tried before such a value offer. Amazingggg meats (chicken, beef, duck and lamb), fair price, and delicious taste. Located in Harrods with only a few chairs around the kitchen (bar type) and around tons of meal options.Do not missed the baby chicken

Happy family lunch where you sit around the huge gas rotisserie. The baby chicken is very very good but beware for small bones if you have children eating this dish. The braised ox cheeks are delicious and are perfectly accompanied by a large glass of Harrod's rioja wine. Good efficient service to boot!

I love going to Harrod's on my visits to London, the food stalls are absolutely amazing. On this trip, James Corden just happened to be in there filming for his Late Late show as he "worked" in the food stalls, it was very cool to see. But... I was rather hungry so I sat down at Rotisserie. Had the Lamb shank with potatoes and dessert after. It was absolutely breathtaking! Superb. One of the best meals I had while in london for sure. Not cheap by any means, I think my entire meal was around 55 pounds, but well worth it to me.

Signature black chicken was well-flavored but the white meat portions were dry and definitely required quite a bit of au jus. Attentive service. Bar seating inside Harrods is not a comfortable or quiet experience.

A big lunch. We had half a chicken and half a duck which we shared. All washed down with a pint of ale. A bit cramped and noisy but worth the queue and short wait. The duck was amazing.

After going to thr Seafood Grill in the same room for years and being extremely happy I finally decided to try out the Rotisserie. It wasn't bad, but I'd pick the seafood grill or steak bar over the Rotisserie next time.

It is super busy and crowded in Harrods during weekends, so we were here for "early lunch" so was not a queue at this small restaurant (better say it is a counter) ANyway the chicken is really delicious, if you plan to go Harrods and shop food but need to eat something , here is a good choice.

Surprised to have a big plate of deliciously cooked 1/2 duck and seasonal vegetable. Since it is Harrods, I was expecting tapas portion. The Malbec that came with it was perfect. I am glad I got talked into eating there. Will definitely go back. And Georgi, our waiter, was spot on !

We were already in Harrod's to see the shopping spectacle and we found the Rotisserie and decided to try it for dinner. The prices were a bit high as expected and I found the menu to be a bit limited. The seating is a bit unconventional as most of the seats are at a counter with extremely high bar stools which are difficult to get on for the shorter person. The service was excellent as expected in Harrod's and we were able to watch our grilled selections prepared in front of us.

We had lunch at Harrods Rotisserie this afternoon and had a wonderful roast duck meal. Service at the bar was warm and friendly and the duck was moist and succulent. Superb!

We had a decent enough lunch at the Harrods Rotisserie. But it was not cheap, and it is Harrod's food court. So we expected a lot better.Strangely, chicken was only just warm - but we didn't have time to send it back. Fresh orange juice should be fresh, especially at £5 a glass. And this was definitely out of a bottle.We probably won't be back.

Stopped here for a late dinner on a weekday night. There were a few people eating so plenty of seats were open and the smell was fantastic. The high bar stools are difficult to sit on and get comfortable for a short person like myself (5'3"), especially with no where to put your feet, so my feet and legs were left dangling and falling asleep. After getting situated the waitress gave us menus and told us they were out of practically everything on the menu. Leaving us not a whole lot to choose from we ended up getting the chicken kabobs. The chicken was ok, the rice was extremely dry and got to the point of being unpalatable. Eating here served to be loud with the chef singing the entire time and the kitchen staff working on the next day's food? The food filled our bellies but wasn't anything to write home about and in the end was disappointing for the price. Actually enjoyed the pastries and cupcakes we took back to the hotel from the other section in Harrods more than the dinner.

Went with my family to spend a day at Harrods.We have done this on many occasions but had never eaten at the Rotisserie, so we thought we'd give it try.Paid £85.00 for a sharing platter that consisted of: Baby chick2 lamb chops5 small pieces of chickenhalf duckTo be honest it was worth £ 25.00.You's be better off eating at another establishment at Harrods

Ho provato il pollo, davvero gustoso. Anche l'ambiente è molto raffinato (Del resto ci troviamo da Harrods). Unica pecca il prezzo un po' alto

While in London, visiting from Canada, we always stop by Harrods for a glass of wine and an appetizer, which we did again this year. This restaurant is always busy, with service being very good. An enjoyable spot for an afternoon glass wine and appetizer!

We had lunch at The Rotisserie. The three staff members including the cook were argueing behind the grill, in full view of the guests sitting on the sides, so the entertainment was good and embarassing for Harrods. Surly and sulky waitrons.

il pollo allo spiedo era troppo invitante in quel contesto, e nn abbiamo resistito.la scelta ci è parsa curiosa ed appetitosa, nella vastità di cibi e soluzioni che harrod's propone.alto bancone ed altissimi sgabelloni. servizio professionale ed impeccabile. pollo molto buono (anche se nulla di miracoloso....), ma l'esperienza, pur costosa, almeno x una volta, è consigliata.prezzi esorbitanti: 5 pounds il cestino coi panini caldi, 9 pounds un bicchiere di vino, insomma.... tutto esagerato.... come harrod's, davvero unico!!

We thought it wise to have an early lunch as we know it gets busy later.Special treat to me from my daughter. Sat down at 12.00, told by waiter No lamb cutlets, half a roast chicken or baby chicken. Everything else on menu ok.. I had lamb shank which was 'slimy' no crisp outside, dophanois potatoes very tasteless and watery, NOT creamy,in fact disgusting. VERY poor gravy. I complained about the potatoes and was given 4 small so called roast potatoes in their place. So unroast.Not crispy at all. My daughter's vegetables were overcooked. It was as if everything had been heated up from the day before Harrods assured me this could not happen.. So sad that Harrods treat customers like this.. Bill had an extra charge for service. Paid bill but will NEVER go to the Rotisserie again. Will be writing to the Operations Manager of the Food and Beverages. My son said we should have complained at the time, but we are uncomplaining people, and find it very hard that Harrods spoilt our day out.

Went there for what I thought a promising rotisserie chicken experience While the chicken was ok, but the service, the quality of breads and the potato gratin was merely ok but for 40 pounds that's a clear rip off for such an ok meal

We both had chicken kebabs and these where fabulous.The service was great and the tastes where phenomenal.

My husband and I went for a pre wedding anniversary meal. We waited half an hour before someone came to ask how many were to be seated as it was very busy. We were offer a seating area off the main rotisserie table, the wall which we were facing was dirty but we accepted the seats as had already waited so long at this point (pictures available).We ordered rice with my husbands main meal which never came, so we ordered it again when the waiter brought our food to the table. Again it never came, we mentioned this again to the waiter when asking for the bill. The waiter apologised and stated that he never told his colleague about the rice order. My husband caught the managers attention and gestured her over however she never came. We asked to pay the bill by card and waited half an hour for the waiter to bring the card machine to us. When the waiter finally arrived with the card reader we asked for the optional service charge to e removed from the bill, which seemed to surprise him! I have actually had better service in Nandos which is a shame as the food was nice and the prices were certainly not cheap. I have eaten in Harrods before (not in the rotisserie section) and have never experienced such poor service. I'm very disappointed as it was my husbands first time in Harrods.
