Seated quickly, welcoming atmosphere inside with a traditional feel to the place. Served & received food quickly and the food was very nice Definitely returning

This place was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. We had not booked but were seated quickly. The service was great, everyone was friendly and the food was tasty. Rating it 4 stars as we felt the portions were slightly small and some of the dishes didn't have enough chicken or lamb pieces. All in all, we would definitely return!

Great food, great hospitality and a great atmosphere. The chef is very talented as the food is right on par.

First time visit with hubby, sister and brother in law. What a fabulous find. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. We ordered 2 Chicken Tikka Masala and 2 Mixed Grills. WOW! The food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely visit again.

AmaZing restaurant. Roti Pani is what they call a ‘hidden gem’. An independently run eatery where nothing is too much and they really go out of their way to serve you. The traditional home cooked Punjabi food feeling, we had our own private room as there were quite a few of us. The staff are very attentive, the service is very good and the food is simply too Punjabi good. If you read up on the reviews they are pretty brilliant. I would certainly give it a 10/10. Went for a meal with some of the family. The best tandoori mixed grill we had tasted. The GT Road curry was delicious. Will be back soon with the rest of the family

Food was beautiful, Very tasty and nicely presented But as for table service it was absolutely shocking Waitress gave us plates then stated these are very hot but then got us to pass them round the table. Passing hot food cross member of our group Male waiter was more interested in messing with his hair in the mirror clearly wasn’t happy to be working and then to top it off we were over charged by nearly £50 which we had to correct ourselves Please check your receipts before paying

Quite simply great food and perfect service each and every time. We travel an hour to visit here and it's worth the drive every time.

I ordered online after dining in a few times and it's usually excellent, I order the Railway lamb curry, this time it was very salty. The reason I'm particularly annoyed is because the lady on the phone refused to sell me a bottled soft drink as they're for the restaurant. Makes no sense and chill on the salt. If your customer wants to pay you for a bottle of coke, sell it them.

Only our 2nd visit to Roti Pani without a doubt the best curry in willenhall. Great quality, great taste, decent prices.

We pre-booked a table for 4 adults for Fathers Day and my wife phoned on the day of the booking as she had some allergen concerns, which they stated they could accommodate. It wasn't anything too tricky, she wanted a curry with no spices and no masala. The male taking the phone call was dismissive and stated that this couldn't be done and then gave the phone to the cook who couldn't speak English or even Punjabi, bearing in mind this is an authentic Punjabi restaurant but the cook doesn't speak the language. They stated that a fresh curry could not be made as everything was pre-made, meaning the sauces and main ingredient were pre-made. This isn't a problem as we understand most restaurants do this, but most also will accommodate individual customers and their needs. In the end we booked somewhere else and I doubt we'd go again for a while

Visited here Saturday evening and what a hidden gem it is, staff were very friendly and attentive, atmosphere was great, the food was awesome, will definitely be coming back to try different dishes

Very nice decor with a lovely warm atmosphere. Unfortunately we could only see & hear this as we were taken past the people having a nice time to be seated upstairs in a room that looks like an after thought & with only us & 1 other table using it there was no atmosphere.This was a big shame as the pictures show a really nice restaurant.The waitress we had seemed inexperinced & a little awkward, shy but pleasant. However only having to cover 2 tables seemed to be hovering around us.One of our table is a Coeliac & we always check that curry is ok, again it was BUT the waiter who took our order also said that the Naans are fine as they only contain self raising flour & not 'wheat' this is a big mistake & potentially very dangerous.Food allergy knowledge really needs to be so much better than this.Aside from the above the food is absolutely superb, everything we had was very much enjoyed. The poppadoms do come out a little strange by being broken up & seem a little small in portion size but this a minor thingThe Chicken Tikka Tawa is exceptional.In time this place will become brilliant.I am looking forward to another visit but will ask to be seated downstairs.

Horrendous. Arrived (party of 8) at 7pm. Had to sit upstairs. Lacked atmosphere, besides our talking was deadly silent - had to ask for some background music. Waited 40 minutes for poppadoms to arrive (having had to ask for them). Onion salad came in pots (I kid you not) not much larger than a thimble - 3 for 8 of us. Asked for more, never came. Only 2 out of the 4 starters arrived. Forgave this and asked to go straight for mains. Nann breads arrived and they sat going cold whilst we waited for mains. They arrived cold. Very cold - and I mean cold! Even the silver dishes were cold. Asked for them to be warmed up - they came back, still cold. Rice still not arrived. At this point we had had enough. Paid for drinks and left. Felt sorry for the young waitress, she did her best but the service and senior management were a joke. Left around 8.30pm after being there since 7pm. Will not return. Would not recommend. We normally use the Bengal Relish. Tried Rotipani for a change. Never again. BTW - we very rarely complain and I have never refused to pay for food before. Could have forgiven the service if the food was good...but it wasn't. I will never return to this place.

Yet another visit to this superb restaurant again the food was fantastic service was great and also going to book for Christmas Day.

Starter portions are small, but the Food quality is high. Very clean restaurant. Main courses are delicious and goos quantity. Wine is a bit expensive though.

Went here for a work do, very large group (20 people).The food was a little slow to come out but was served hot when it came out, I'd like to point out they got the food out to everyone at the same time.The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken in the butter chicken tikka was lovely and tender. (DELHIWALA BUTTER CHICKEN on the menu).Staff were really friendly.Will happily go again.

Visited the restaurant last Friday with family and friends. The dishes we ordered were all delicious - tasted like the home cooked ones. The tandoori roti was the best I’d ever had in a restaurant. The service was impeccable and overall great value for money!

Me and my dad visited here last week and I must say it's one of the best curries I've had in a while! Me and my dad shared a tandoori chicken starter and then had a Chicken Balti, Butter Chicken and rice and naan to share, it was to die for!!

Beautiful food and service, the atmosphere is lovely and you can eat at your iwn leisure, they dont rush you.

Following the wife's and I visit here last Saturday night we left thinking that we could, and should have had a better night out. The welcome and service was excellent and our lovely waitress did her best but she was obviously inexperienced. Being an Indian restaurant the more common Bangladeshi menu format has been replaced by meals such as the Railway, asli chicken, prawn lababdar or GT Road Curry. So who knows what you're going to get unless you have tried it before or the waiter can accurately describe it, sadly ours couldn't. India is a huge country and I find that there is very little consistency in its food, every chef does it their way. I am sure there is a great dish here for everyone but you may have to search for it and the journey will most likely be hit or miss.

I think if you’re lucky enough to eat out frequently then you get a bit apathetic about writing reviews. Which is why I’m bothering to do this.

We tried here after walking past it many times. It was amazing!!! Lovely food, the most authentic Indian food I have eaten since being in India. Prices are more than other local places (we paid £66 for poppadoms, 4 mains, 2x rice, 2x naan, large wine, 3x cobra and a fanta) but it was worth it. Staff were friendly, if anything over attentive as they keep asking if you have already ordered drinks or asked for the bill etc. Overall it was great and we will certainly be returning in the near future.

Booked a table for half 7 got there been there for half hour out table wasn’t reserved they took us upstairs and we got basically dumped in a room. No one came to ask if we wanted a drink. No one came to give us a menu. I had to ring from upstairs to ask them what was actually happening to be told he had just came on shift didn’t know we was up there and would get us drink. Ten minutes had passed and he hadn’t arrived back. we just gave up and went to the clove to start the birthday celebrations we original went for. Thanks for ruining our night. Avoid!

Booked a table for 6 at 7:30. Was promptly taken upstairs into a silent and empty room. After a while we made a joke about them forgetting about us. It got to around 8pm and it was past a joke, as we had been told that the food should be quite good we actually made the effort to call the restaurant to give them information regarding our whereabouts. A few moments later a fine gentleman came and then buggered off again because he had forgot the menus?! Upon finally receiving the menus our drinks were finally ordered and we thought things where looking up? It appears that the employees were not looking up because after 5mins we gave up and went to the clove. Absolute waste of space and especially because it was a friends 48th birthday, he would of been celebrating his 50th by the time I got a popadom.

A relaxed casual dining experience. An excellent selection of popular North Indian dishes. Had great expectations as bought family here who are from Birmingham where bar and grills are prevalent.

1st time here after a recommendation. Live in the area and also eat.out locally so this would be a test of out allegiance.

Nice place, good food. Came with kids both time. Child friendly. Good, quick service. We spent £50 for a family of 4. Also there are nuggets and chips for fussy kids!

Poppadums were all broken. Side sauces were a small quantity. Poppadums were highly priced. Starters Chilli panner was very spicy and paneer was over cooked to the point it was all spongy. The fish was cheap (Panga) no taste. Main meal was poor. Gobi was uncooked. Paneer once again was over cooked, all we could taste in there was cloves ! The saag was basically just watered down leaves. We were very dissapointed in the food. The restaurant itself is lovely, modern and nice colours.

I booked this for a small group of friends, the booking was simple and easy.

Decided to go for a meal without booking a table to see what it was like. Staff were friendly and were a great help with our food choices from the menu. The food we selected was excellent in every way, taste, presentation, price. Will we be going again, that will be a definite Yes

First of all... we were served mostly by Kelly who works very hard to please. The other servers basically didn't have a clue....

We visited as a family of three with a toddler and the food was outstanding. The service was really good and waiters were very attentive. We have already booked our next visit as a much bigger group

After hearing many good things about Roti Panj we finally got around to visiting and it certainly didn't disappoint. The food is so reasonable priced and the portion sizes are larger then the average. The quality of the food is second to none!! I had the chilli paneer starter and the railway lamb main, the paneer is the best I have ever tatsed and was cooked beautifully and the lamb was so tender it fell apart just using a roti. The food here is your traditional punjab style. You will not go wrong visiting here and we shall definitely be returning. The only thing I would say could be added would be a hot towel at the end of the meal, as it's food you tend to eat with your hands and not cutlery but it is a minor little thing and an individual preference.

Attended here yesterday with my husband, service was brilliant and food was bang on tasty. Will definitely recommend Roti Pani. We highly recommend trying this place, exactly what we was lacking in, in the area,we are happy this place is here to stay. I loved the dal makhani and chicken Balti.

I attended Roti Pani with 13 other family members and they were able to provide very suitable seating options. The food was amazing very impressive overall. My only criticism is that the service was very scattered and mistimed

We have been here a few times since it opened and never had a bad meal although it is fair to say that at times the service can be hit and miss.

Visited here on friday 28th December with family and freinds, table for 8.

Cannot comment on the attitude of staff as my wife and I had a takeaway but the two gentlemen we did briefly encounter were very pleasant. We did not have time to sit and eat in but believe me we certainly will be. We had chicken madras and chicken and mushroom bhuna with rice and naan breads. Simply wonder ful. It was early on a Saturday evening and business was looking good. Nice bar too. Keep this quality up and I'm sure you will go from strength to strength. As for a waiter who (re:previous reviewer) laughs at a customer and walks off.... replace him.

Being one of the newest Indian restaurants in Willenhall, and having heard excellent things about it, my wife and I, along with 2 friends, decided to visit the place and see if it lived up to the hype.

Had a lovely evening with family, food was delicious (especially the naan bread), no complaints from any of us. Nice to see some different dishes on the menu too. Will definitely be coming back for another visit.
