Did my daughters first birthday here, at the end of the evening the maanger lied that we had brought more guests even though we had not. He said more plates were used, i told him it was a buffet so some people changed their plates when they went up again but he refused to listen and demanded the £400 more. A awful experience never will i step foot into that place again

This is the worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. We were seated for about 20 minutes before we were offended a drink. The white wine wine eventually arrived in a tumbler with ice. We asked for this to be changed to a wine glass. We ordered the food and waited over two hours for the main meal to arrive. The manager explained that they cook all meals from scratch and that it takes time to prepare. When imy food arrived it was cold, I asked for it to be heated which they did, I then noticed that the masala has no taste and appeared to be very watery. As we had waited such a long time we decided to eat it. Before I had finished my meal the waitress started to take my meal away without being asked. She had very little English and we found it difficult to communicate with her. The toilet hygiene was below standard and female toilets were closed. When the bill arrived we were shocked at the price and that 12.5 % service charge has been added and that it was not optional. I will certainly not be going back, please do not waste your money.

Oh dear. This place really is shocking. Very big and cavernous. Not intimate at all. Felt like we were sitting on a football pitch. Also freezing cold and I’m not somebody who feels the cold. Waitress had a very poor grasp of both English and the menu . The food was deeply average. She didn’t know what a Shandy was. The toilets were really not nice. Peeling paint. A strong smell of damp. One was constantly flushing and the other one the door wouldn’t shut. I’ve no idea why this place gets any good reviews, but like other say perhaps it has been taken over. It’s definitely the worst Indian restaurant I’ve been to in Staines. Honestly go anywhere else

Ordered take away, they even read out what we ordered. We I went to pick up and pay with cash, they did not have any change and asked me to pay on card. I did not have my card on me. The lady went and spoke to another member of staff and he asked the same question, do you have card, same reply no. The lady then had to go to the newsagents shop for change. On her return we paid and returned home only to find our order was not correct, my wife phoned and told them what we had asked for chicken tikka x 2 only to be told they do not do chicken tikka, it’s mustard chicken tikka ? If they don’t do chicken tikka why didn’t they tell us when we ordered. We also ordered chicken korma which was bland, watery and tasted horrible. Another item was the chicken tikka masala which was ok but nothing special. I have to wonder if they do chicken tikka masala why can’t they do chicken tikka, it’s without the sauce, or was it mustard chicken tikka masala? The Naan bread was chewy and nothing like the Naan bread we are used to. Unfortunately on our return call to them we said this will be the last time we visit this restaurant.

I went out with my partner and sister and had heard good things from a friend. We looked at the menu before hand, looked amazing and lots of variety! When we arrived the menu was very limited. Nothing like online, especially bad on varieties of side orders and rice! We had poppadums , hugely expensive and burnt and had to ask for the chutney tray. When finished the lady cleared the table came back with our plates and said ‘sorry if they are a bit wet it’s where I just washed them’ So wiped them ourselves with a napkins! Ordered our mains, my partner and myself had the same main, both agreed it was bland and awful, I have experienced similar from a microwave supermarket meal and in fairness to the supermarket it tasted better and was cheaper! My sister ordered tandoori chicken, when she cut into it, it was red and bloody near the bone, when we checked the management said that the chef said it was freshly cooked but otherwise didn’t seem overly bothered when we said it was awful. We asked for the bill Which came to £130 incl service charge for burnt poppadums 2 drinks each Rice each 3 horrific main meals Bombay potato’s and 2 naans Again we said how awful it was no one actually responded or even offered to try and rectify ! Awful awful awful avoid at all costs
