Rose's Cafe in Brent

Just the tonic for an hungover Sunday morning. I opted for the full English with extra black pudding, hash browns and toast. Chips accompanying a full English is alien to me, but something I’ve noticed in the south east. I was able to swap out with hash browns no problem. Every item was top tier and tasted delicious + a decent portion of beans, not just a thimble full like some cafs. The only item I wasn’t hugely keen on was the sausage, but that’s down to preference. It was clearly a decent banger with high meat content, but it just didn’t tickle my coin purse. I like a cheap sausage with my full English. I believe the price was reasonable for the area, but I’m not 100%. One tiny niggle it would’ve been nice to have toast included, but otherwise can’t fault it. Service was great, the waitress was very attentive and unobtrusive.

Excellent Food quality, menu options, price and service. Indeed, far superior to far more costly options in the locality you could find in Queens Park or Kensal Rise. A great example of sticking to what works and not being greedy to inflate profits. An all round 5*

Lovely breakfast, hit the spot, cooked just how I asked. Was very busy Sunday morning which is always a good sign they do good breakfasts and it did not disapoint. Friendly staff and an all round lovely cafe. Would happily return. Seemed fairly priced aswel.

We had breakfast here twice whilst visiting London and loved the place, the breakfast fabulous and large portions, and the young lady serving us was absolutely wonderful, polite friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble, a real asset to the business! Next time we visit London we'll definitely be back! Thank you all so much!

I have visited the restaurant a couple of times because it is close to my house and I can say that the food is very good, the service is good and fast and the price is fair with large portions of food. It is a place where you feel at home.

I ordered the full Irish No1 black pudding was burned chips overcooked bacon commercial not what it used to be waitress not overly friendly sadly not the cafe it used to be 20 years ago I'm not a competitor I'm a customer that used to use the cafe 20 years ago nearly 7 days a week it's very sad how they can't take responsibility in the service they are meant to provide each bad review they send an automated message saying it's a scam I assure it's not they can't take negative feedback

The young girl who served the food with the nose piercing is the worst waitress in the world. We can’t for over 10 minutes only for me to get up myself and have to ask for a menu. To which she gave us one when there was two of us. Then she refused to serve us so we was forced to leave.

I go to Roses at least 3 times a week as I am their regular customer for many years. The food is perfect and comes in a big portion for a resonable price. Highly recommended.

I've just ate in this place. The food was OK. I ordered liver, bacon, onion gravy and mash with peas. The food may have been ok (albeit 2 really small peices of bacon) the bill however was outrageous! £13.45 !!!... when questioned they said it was itemised. The mash £3.50, the bacon 3.50 etc.... I mean seriously? Every item on the menu including the mixed grill was cheaper than my liver and bacon!?!?! I now realise why during peak time there was only 1 other person there. AVOID at all costs or check the price beforehand. Shocking and disgusting practice you have in place for ripping customers off. I'll vote with my feet and will let the lads in the pubs in Kilburn know to beware of your scam.

Last place in Kilburn to get good breakfasts and British traditional food.

Recomended and didn't disapoint.

Dreadful, what a shame this cafe used to be really good. Deep fried rock hard fish fingers, sour lumpy reheated mash, all veg was nasty and the chef was rude and didn't even apologise even though we spent £30 on two meals we didn't eat any of. This place has really gone downhill avoid. And don't belive the owner when he says the bad reviews are scams and not by customs, I have the bank statement to prove I was a customer, I wish I hadn't been.

after reading the reviews I had to go and try it for myself !! The girls are so attentive and lovely MUST HAVES ARE!! Chicken stir fry with rice and for pudding apple crumble with custard. AND OMG THE CAPPUCCINO IS CREAMING I THINK THE BEST IN KILBURN IVE HAD

I eat at Rose's regularly with friends in the weekday, one of my fav places to eat in London. Much better quality than your average cafe. Good menu; a wide variety to choose from; traditional fish & chips, roast beef roast potatoes, & veg, omelettes...... Highly regarded Cafe amongst locals. Can be busy at lunch times, There are plenty of eating places along this part of Kilburn High Rd, Rose's holds it s own in Kilburn. Service is good, waitress has been there for some time, she promised to take us to see Dracula's Castle in Romania.

Uses to do good BLT sandwiches. Ordered one today. It came all wet and soggy. Bread was not toasted as I had requested. The lettuce was strange tasting. Went in the bin. Shame.

One of the few english breakfast cafes in the Brondesbury area - and it was impressive. - Food/drinks: very generous portions, all meals come with a hot drink which is perfect. The hot chocolate i had was tasty, thick and frothy, not watery as it can sometimes be. - Ambience: quiet and peaceful, spacious tables not cramped, interesting paintings on the wall. - Service: very friendly lady that served me, she let me swap a food item i didn't like, without making it a big deal. - Toilets: clean, stocked up, spacious. - Only downside is she used same jug for different milks which is dangerous for dairy allergies. Also lack of alternative milks, only had almond milk which is £1 extra charge. Overall I would come back.

Been going here for years......lots to choose from on the menu, to all day breakfast to roast dinners, curry, pasta dishes, salads etc.... If your in the area check it out...

Amazing fry up and if you ask they will do you fried bread! Really tasty, hit the spot with a good mug of tea too. Well priced, great portions and top service. The rest of the menu looked good as well, if I was going to be in the area for longer I would definitely be back.

Really good food most of the time ! Service is a hit or a miss. Today i had to leave as i didnt get served . When i did alert one girl she said she would have to get her friend to take the order " in broken English ". I said ok but the other girl either eating a choc bar or what looked more like a lolly. I just hope they dont drop there standards .

Imagine it’s 1980something, and you go to your granny’s house for dinner, and she’s a really bad cook, but recently got a microwave, and as a result she microwaves everything. Welcome!

Had a fantastic meal here. Lots of choice. Tasty food and enormous helpings. Rose's omelette with chips and salad and salmon with spinach and mash highly recommended. Good service too and very reasonable prices for this quality.

Nice place family friendly. Had a meal with my daughter and her mum. The food was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice artwork on the walls. Male and female separate toilets for anyone interested.

The soup was excellent. The burger was delicious. The service was good and the lady was very polite and gregarious.

Just too expensive, £7.50 for what is a really small breakfast (very thin slices of bacon), no papers. Should be £5.50 maximum (it was £5.95, 2 years back)..... Not much of a welcome either. Will not be back.

Just had the best chicken curry with rice and chips that I've ever had outside of a curry house. It was marvelous. If you are looking for the perfect home cooking and antidote to a hang over get yourself in there. The waitress girls are lovely too. Always spotlessly clean.

Have been eating here for years. In my opinion Rose's has the best cafe sausage for miles. You can pick and choose from the menu and they have proper coffee. All round, very good.

I ordered a delivery in this restaurant. The food was nice and very tasty. The mix vegetables was so nice that I have to order again.

Starter arrived after a good 40mins feta salad had no seasoning, mains were way too big. The apology for late food was that there were too many takeaway orders. The only saving grace is big portion size and cheap price.

Had the Spaghetti Bolognese here and it was great. Big portion for a good price. Had the breakfast the following morning and again it was great value. Clean and friendly staff also. Highly recommend.

Ordered breakfast and coffee came in 5. Toast came 10mins later and after both were stone cold a greasy plate arrived wp mins in. Why dont they bring everything toghther???

We were looking all over Kilburn High Road for a reasonable ,vegetarian meal in a simple cafe before attending another appointment later in the evening,and came across Rose's. Prices were very reasonable and we had the jacket potato with cheese and baked beans filling which came with assorted salads ,sweetcorn ,carrots etc. Portions were huge and very filling which was accompanied by a cafe latte. Pleasant service from the 2 young waitresses. We enjoyed our meal very much and would not hesitate to try another dish on the extensive menu when we are next in Kilburn.

Fui a Rose's con un amigo por la noche hace un par de días (domingo 25) Fue una comida muy buena, pero cuando fui a pagarla después, cuando estaba sacando mi tarjeta Visa, el tipo que trabaja allí (probablemente el gerente) me lo arrebató de la mano y se lo pasó a Contactless antes de que tuviera oportunidad de reaccionar. . . En qué planeta viven algunos cajeros donde piensan que está bien hacer esto, no lo sé, pero aparte del hecho de que es simplemente grosero arrebatarle CUALQUIER COSA a alguien sin previo aviso o permiso, algunas personas, incluido yo mismo, no ' No me gusta Contactless porque hace que sea más difícil hacer un seguimiento de los fondos; y depende únicamente del CLIENTE, NO DEL CAJERO, decidir cómo pagarán. Estoy seguro de que no le habría hecho esto a A MAN, y no volveré a patrocinar este establecimiento de nuevo.
