Great pub. Very friendly barman (Luis). Good beer, tasty food and really dog friendly too. What’s not to like. Will definitely visit again, excellent place for a spot of lunch right in the heart of Kilburn. 👍

Had a drink in this pub....so great all the staff made me feel at home but Paul hit it out of the park(I'm foren so I hope that I got the figure of speech right) just got a drink but will be back to try their food for sure...highly recommended!!!

I am a 76 year old retired ,respected businessman. Last night I prepared to do an open mic at the North London Tavern in Kilburn. It’s a terrific event with some great talent and two hosts who are warm and welcoming. It’s very popular, so if you want a slot you need to get there early, which I did, booked my spot and then went back home, which is nearby, to get some supper. I returned to the pub at about 9 pm, parked the car, and strolled to the pub with my guitar on my back. As I got to the door someone must have walked past behind me smoking a particularly pungent joint and as I tried to enter the bouncer (whom I later discovered was named Malik) stopped me and said, you can’t go in, you’ve been smoking weed. I remonstrated, assuring him I had not and that it was someone passing behind. No, he said, I saw you throw the butt on the ground, which was blatantly preposterous. He refused to let me in and I walked away. I walked around the side to another entrance, but it was locked. I came back, his back was turned and I sneaked in, went up to the open mic organiser, checked in, and sat down to await my turn. Next thing Malik appears, grabs me and begins to drag me out. I broke free and rushed up to the organiser appealing for his assistance. He just wimped out. I dashed behind the bar and beseeched the bartender, who claimed to be the manager, but he just wimped out too. Malik grabbed me, but I resisted. By that time I realised I was isolated and took up his invitation to go outside and talk. Once outside he generously advised me that I was not banned for good, but I would not be admitted that night. I went home, shaken and bemused.

The Toastie was delicious, perfect mixture of gooey cheese. The service was swift, concise, and polite. Luis was on top of it. 10/10

As I was about to enter the pub someone walked past behind me smoking Marihuana. The smell was very strong and as I tried to enter the security guard, Malik, accused me of smoking the cannabis , saying he saw me throwing the cigarette on the floor. This was a completely false accusation. I clearly did not smell of the substance, nor any other type of smoking device or product. I am a 76 year old retired businessman with emphysema and no way would never be smoking. I later eturned and entered the pub. Malik followed me in and manhandled me. Though I protested my innocence to someone who claimed to be the manager no effort was made to assist me or consider my claim. This was an extremely harrowing and inexcusable experience, and this man, Malik, is totally ill equipped to be in a position of authority.

Visited North London Tavern for a Sunday roast and was pleasantly surprised by the warm service provided by George. The meal was SO GOOD with the cauliflower cheese standing out as a highlight. As a vegetarian, it's often annoying & kinda difficult in London to find a good roast, but this place exceeded expectations. Looking forward to returning soon!

Just popped in for a Sunday roast and was served by George, who was very accommodating and charming! also a credit to the chefs for the meal, the cauliflower cheese especially was perfection. I struggle with finding good veggie roasts but this place smashed it! Will be coming back.

Price gouging. Prices of pints rise nearly everyday it seems like. £7.45 for a gamma ray is a joke. We are in Kilburn, not Mayfair. And they constantly change the menu prices and make it more expensive. The staff are nice but clearly the owners don’t care about local customers. Been coming here for years but I won’t be back except once in a blue moon when I have to. Pints at the Black Lion down the road are crafty, very good/unique, and still less than £6.

NLT simply never disappoints. You can expect a nicely served meals and drinks, always prepared consistently. The staff is nice and polite, engaging even during busy hours! I can point out the excellent performance of Ryan, who always tries to make your experience special. I also appreciate the Open Mic Nights every Wednesday, make sure to come!

We had a wonderful experience at the The North London Tavern 2 weeks ago. We didn't want to leave!! The dads in the group got to enjoy their key sporting events on the big TV while we ate, chatted, and played in the lovely styled pub. It has evidently been refurbished and has a lovely feel about it. After dessert, I even took the wee boys out for some football at a park 5 min away so the rest of the adults could relax and sip away at their drinks from the bar 🍸. Paul was especially helpful. His kindness from the moment I spoke to him on the phone gave us all a feeling of calmness and care. We had a great chillout! P.s. MUST try the Sticky Toffe Pudding and ice cream. All food great value!

I come in to NLT quite frequently, since I live in the area. This Monday I was so happy to see that Tigerlily was working behind the counter, who always greets me with a big smile across her face and always delivers great service.
