Rose Villa Pub in Birmingham

One of the very few traditional pubs left in the area. Still love the old style windows and decor the way it should. Toilets were clean lunch time and service prompt. It’s not the cheapest pub in the city at £12.40 for a kronenberg and double gin and tonic but after jewellery shopping in the area it’s a welcome oasis.

Estábamos en el Jewellery Quarter mirando el Banksy y este pub está cerca. El pub estaba bastante ocupado por dentro (demasiado frío para afuera). Una pinta de sidra era 4. El menú de comida era interesante con mucha variedad.

Gran pub en el centro de Jewellery Quarter. Moderno pero peculiar con 3 áreas separadas para sentarse. Dos zonas exteriores. Comida de pub y buenas opciones de bebidas

El lugar ideal para tomar una bebida relajante después de un arduo día de filmación antes de encontrar un lugar para comer, este fue un pub muy concurrido y animado, pero había un montón de personal atento y nos sirvieron muy rápidamente, la selección de Gin & Tonic fue excelente y Creo que debemos haber probado cada uno durante nuestra estancia de 4 días.

Excelente interior, principalmente virgen. Una buena gama de cervezas bien conservadas, bengalas retiradas a petición. Buen servicio al cliente. Vale la pena echar un vistazo alrededor.

This is one place to visit in Birmingham. Cocktails are excellent quality and great offers on them A great selection of strouts ,Ales, Beers and lager. The bar food is so so tasty and such large portions. Great atmosphere

Fuimos al barrio de las joyas para comprar un anillo de bodas y tuvimos 40 minutos mientras lo clasificaron. Decidimos almorzar y Rose Villa tiene un menú de almuerzo simple perfecto. Precioso pub antiguo con muchas de las características originales restantes. Por suerte para nosotros el miércoles es 2 hamburguesas para 13 más 2 para compartir la bandeja de papas fritas. Tuve una elección saludable de muslo de pollo con aguacate, mientras que Dave tenía tocino y queso. Bueno delicioso, servicio eficiente. Almuerzo perfecto en un entorno encantador.

Aparecieron para tomar un refresco muy necesario después de haber sido arrastrado por el Barrio de las Joyas durante un par de horas. Tenía una gran cerveza artesanal (mejor que Guinness!), Las alas estaban bien, pero la hamburguesa de pollo fue uno de los mejores que he comido. Así que, caballeros, una vez que hayas tenido suficiente para mirar todos los preciosos anillos, pulseras y collares que todas las joyerías tienen para ofrecer, tómate un bocado y una pinta muy necesaria en The Rose Villa.

Brilliant afternoon having a real laugh making cocktails. Ish, our “tutor” was funny and engaging and the £6 per head buffet was tasty, hot and great value. Thanks for a fantastic time !

Después de una comida fabulosa en el Red Lion, decidimos mudarnos a la Rose Villa para tomar una copa después de la cena.El servicio estándar y general del personal era muy decepcionante y carente de la simpatía que experimentamos en la joyería de otros Pubs visitó ese fin de semana. La decoración es fantástica, pero la limpieza es deficiente. Un niño sentado en el bar, bajo la mirada de (el equipo de bar) recoger y jugar, equipamiento para hacer cócteles también dejó una enorme pregunta sobre los estándares de higiene.Nos fuimos y nos fuimos a la fábrica de botón para ser recibidos con una bienvenida maravillosa cervezas y una gran selección de.Es sorprendente que, dada la competencia en el vecindario que la villa Rose no ha invertido un poco más en la experiencia del cliente.

An amazing Edwardian pub with beautiful stain glass windows with a snug room with a magnificent tiled fireplace. A great atmosphere or young and old.

En el corazón del barrio de joyería es difícil perderse la RVT y no ser criticada por servicio y ambiente. A diferencia de muchas artesanías y bares especializados en la zona de apertura, el Rose palitos al necesario, un barrio amable PUB!

The pub ias in a great location a short walk from City Centre or from the station. The pub has a good selection of drinks and we haven't ever had a bad experience here. The atmosphere is quite chilled and the staff are friendly!

Yo diría que este es un muy buen pub, pero sólo un restaurante. Nos pareció que la decoración y el ambiente era genial - un verdadero pub interiores con un ambiente amable. La cerveza y otras bebidas estaban bien a un precio promedio, pero hemos comido mejor. La hamburguesa era simplemente correcto y la barbacoa de pollo a tiras y un chico estaba dura, parte. Volveríamos sólo para bebidas.

Un agradable pub dentro con un buen interior y el personal era lo suficientemente amable. El 2 cervezas que tenía eran bastante agradables, bien cuidado, no podría quejarme, pero no había mucha variedad, ya que no todas las bombas están en uso durante la semana, lo cual fue decepcionante. Si fan de ale, entonces sería mejor para visitar en un fin de semana cuando la elección sería mayor. Para ser justos, se merece una mejor clasificación que la media, pero igualmente, no califico como muy buena.

Me gusta este pub, tiene preciosas baldosas originales de estilo victoriano y un gran ambiente. El personal es muy amable y la comida es muy buena y bastante a bajo costo. Sus cócteles son extraordinarios.

Genial para reunirse después del trabajo y tienen unas cuantas bebidas, los mojitos son perfectas! Ambiente divertido. Se puede obtener un poco pegajosa en aquí después de un ajetreado fin de semana, pero aparte de eso, es un lugar estupendo para relajarse.

Llamado en principios para un bocado para comer, antes de asistir a una producción de ' pasión por Birmingham'. Este pub tiene una historia increíble, y la decoración ha sido fielmente conservado, que sólo se suma a un gran ambiente. Cada día hay un menú especial, así que, mis dos hijas aprovechamos las dos hamburguesas por £10, una excelente elección, servido con patatas fritas, y en un bollo brioche fresco. Elegí el bocadillo de puerco desmenuzado, con batatas fritas, delicioso, se sirve en una sabrosa rollo. También disfrutamos de un cóctel sin alcohol, con and Elderflower y menta recién planchada, muy refrescante. El personal es muy simpático y servicial. Sin duda volveríamos de visita, cuando en el barrio de los joyeros.

Se llama con mis hijos, la cerveza es precios de la ciudad de £3,80 una pinta. Pero la comida es buena, alas estaban muy bien caliente y fresco, mis hijos tenía la philisteak y sándwiches de carne que sacó la pensaron que era muy bueno,

My family took me here for a drink after we visited a nearby museum. The beautiful old surroundings in the pub with all the tiles and beautiful windows made me feel like I was still in the museum. It is a fascinating place and well worth a visit just to see the wonderful tiles in the little snug at the back

I stumbled upon this pub while lost in the jewellery quarter, it was dark around 8;30 I was feeling really vulnerable, I entered the premises and the first thing that struck me was the amazing surroundings, I felt I had stepped back in time, on approach to the bar I was greeted by Sasom, she was friendly and welcoming which I was really grateful for, I explained I had lost my car keys, I wasn't familiar with the area and the my phone was out of charge, at this point Sasom introduced me to Darren who without hesitation found me a charger, then Lucy who served me a beverage again with a lovely welcoming manner, whilst my phone was charging they engaged me with conversation, again being alone and a little uncomfortable I was really grateful for, once my phone was charged I was able to book a room nearby, I was given directions by Sasom, which were very clear and helpful. On an evening that I was feeling very vulnerable, alone and a little afraid, I left the Rose Villa pub feeling calm and confident. Thank you

An extremely friendly comfortable place to have a G&T. Excellent choice of gins and knowledgeable staff. Would love to visit again and maybe try the food next time :)

Really good food & atmosphere...great cocktails..worth a visit just to see the impressive windows, great sitting area outside, friendly staff well worth a visit!

A brilliant little pub, slightly on the more expensive side but worth it. The chicken wings are the best we have ever tasted (bar the one's in Buffalo itself)! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Nice old original pub with great decor and a good selection of drinks . Down side the toilets are rank and the food and drink are over priced

El menú es más americano que inglés, pero la hamburguesa estaba realmente buena y los precios son muy razonables. El pub tiene una decoración muy agradable y es un buen lugar para comer, para tomar unas pintas o unas copas.

Visited the pub and only stayed for one drink. The toilets for both men and women were stinking and were filthy. Do not visit if you expect cleanliness or sanitary.

Went there with my wife and family as a pre dinner drink, pub was amazing, everyone friendly but God it was cold, the drinks were expensive but the upwardly mobile locals who live around there must like it 'cos there were loads, great atmosphere will go back, this time for a bite to eat

This is a lovely looking traditional pub. There was a happy, friendly atmosphere and some good music playing at just the right volume. I had the fried chicken and my husband had the Carolina burger. The portions were good and the meals were tasty. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food served. The burger would have been better on a plate as it was served on a wobbly wooden board.

Partied here after a sports event, and found the venue prepared, ready and willing to cope with us - a great food service menu available very fast kept us filled and happy, and non-alchoholic cocktails at a sensible price (cheaper than the post-mix soft drinks!) made me a very happy customer!

We had lunch and a drink and were made very welcome and enjoyed good food and drinks. There is something on the menu for everybody's tastes and if you like cocktails for drinks they are a reduced price at certain times of days including the weekend, great little pub. By the way it is also dog friendly.

I like the atmosphere and quirky design but food nothing special... Not the best and not the worst. Burgers were ok but bacon not crispy enough....

Really like this venue, it has character and class. I opted for a pint of Harvest Pale, a very fine tipple however I found it rather sour, it must have been the end of the barrell. Not to worry. The back room is full of character but it's a little dark and dingy to spend much time in those big seats!

Went for drinks and food with friends. Good location, cool ambience. Great features within the pub itself. Food let it down for us big time. Fried chicken was not nice at all, so left most of it. I suppose you mainly come here for drinks. If so, place is alright.

Great pub. Very friendly and good service. Nice choice of beers and the lunchtime food menu was good. I had the Cobb salad which was well served and tasty. The decor of the pub is great and many old features remain.

This pub is in the heart of the JQ in Birmingham,only a short walk away from the train station,Very trendy bar with great selection of bottled beer's and Ale's.The only food I have tried are the chicken wings which I enjoyed

This pub is ok for drinks, the decor is nice, it's quite 'trendy', they usually have a couple of decent ales on. I don't rate the cocktails though - very average. I don't rate the food either - below average pub grub. A couple of dishes I've tried here have been not very nice at all, I won't eat here again and I'd rather pay a bit more and have nice cocktails somewhere else.

The cocktails never cease to impress, made by enthusiastic staff who are always keen to make recommendations. The new food menu resembles that of an american diner, with decent sized portions that always taste delicious.

My girlfriend and I visited on a Wednesday night; the offer of the day was two burgers for £12.50. I had a bacon burger, which was described on the menu as being candied bacon. It was not candied, but was smoked. Disappointing failure to live up to descriptions. As a vegetarian my girlfriend had to settle a halloumi burger. The amount of the key ingredient was pitiful, but was otherwise ok.Good value for £12.50 overall, but they must live up to expectations. An unexpected plus was homemade BBQ sauce.

Went here recently for a friend's birthday lunch so there was quite alot of us...all ordering food at different times but the bar staff asked for names when we ordered so they could just say our name at the table when the food arrived. Sometimes they used the names, sometimes they said what the food was so this seemed pointless in the end! Some orders were mixed up for example a friend ordered 12 chicken wings but 6 came out, and another ordered a small mac n cheese but a large came out! After a bit of confusion we accepted the food. I ordered Buttermilk fried chicken with apple and fennel slaw, corn on the cob and fries. The piece of chicken was tiny and the outer coating burnt, the slaw was ok, the corn was alright...the best thing was the fries!!! Wouldnt eat here again in a hurry. The staff were accomodating for our large group.

very un attentive staff and building freezing cold.went late at nite think they were cleaning pipes partner was offered a feeling cold ale and myself a half flat luke warm cider that i do not know how long had been sat on the bar for????have been a few times to meet friends and have seen staff in hats and cardigans as so cold ???? apart from being ignored by them.not good.

We visited the Rose Villa Tavern for lunch whilst shopping in Birmingham's jewellery quarter for wedding bands. To be honest we were somewhat disappointed with the selection of places to eat, so having seen this pub on the junction when we arrived we made a bee line for it. We got our selves seated, there isn't a huge amount of seating in there, it's quite an unusual shaped pub. Food arrived promptly after I ordered it from the bar with drinks. I had meatballs with cheese on ciabatta, my Fiancee had steak on ciabatta. We both felt that whilst the food was hot and the portions generous, the meat required much more seasoning. I appreciate that this can sometimes be down to personal taste, but we did feel the food was quite bland.The staff however were attentive and tables cleared quickly.
