I was looking for somewhere to eat a quick lunch and came across this fantastic little spot. Good food, Friendly service.

Went there with a friend last night and it was very warm, the food was very good and the waiters very welcoming! Even when it's busy, the service stays close to us, which is great. I would definitely go back :)

Rosa’s Thai Finsbury Park didn’t quite hit the mark. While some dishes were decent, the overall value left us wanting more from this place. If you’re looking for an affordable and memorable Thai meal, you might want to explore other options. Please note that this review reflects my personal experience, and others may have different opinions. 🍽️🌶️ My overall impression was a bit of a rollercoaster. Let’s break it down: Food Quality: The Pad Thai was disappointingly plain and lacked flavour. It left my mum craving more excitement on her taste buds. She said it tasted like the none flavour she makes at home and wanted to taste the authenticity. She was dissatisfied Pricing: Brace yourself—our bill came close to £200 for five people, excluding dessert. The £45 price tag for 2 classic platter felt steep after looking at the bill. Mother’s Day Special: We visited on Mother’s Day, hoping for a memorable experience. My mum received only a single glass of prosecco. Service: With just one person handling orders and serving, the service was slow. We expected more efficiency, especially given the occasion. Cleanliness: The table wasn’t clean when we sat down, and it remained that way throughout our meal. It's not the best first impression. We had to clean it ourselves. Value for Money: Ultimately, the experience didn’t justify the hefty price tag. For the amount spent, we expected more from this place. We will not be returning. I'm afraid it just didn't meet our expectations.

Unfortunately we hadn’t read the reviews on here before entering the restaurant. We started reading the reviews as we weren’t enjoying the experience of being there and realised we weren’t the only ones. The food is overpriced, you have to add £3-4 for rice on top of most of the overpriced dishes. The service is poor and slow and 12.5% is added to the bill to add insult to injury. The portions are small and food is average at best. Avoid!

Decent-ish food but the customer isn’t the priority. Understaffed. Waited 35 minutes for mediocre starter platter then 40 minutes for mains that we had to prompt the staff to check on multiple times. The mains were good but the priority is Deliveroo and Uber orders. We sat with dismayed multiple tables waiting to be served. The staff claimed that it was busier than usual. Really? Just look at all complaints going back months. Sort out your capacity issues.

I visited today, very disappointed, the service wasn’t great at all, waited 20mins for order to even be taken. The starters were very pleasant and enjoyable. The mains were plain and very bland. Then to be charged nearly £10 in service charge was absolutely ridiculous…. What service please? You took the order and brought it out which is what I thought people were paid to do, I always tip if the service is good but it was terrible, and to be told after the food the service charge is compulsory is terrible. Wouldn’t eat here again or recommend.

Always my favourite Thai. Pad thai was delicious and my friend loved Pad Kra Prow. Also, they have new beautiful cocktails. Definitely good spots for Xmas meal with group of friends

A group of 7 of had a table booked her for an early evening meal. There were plenty of choices on the menu and the food when it arrived was good. Service on the other hand was terrible. The restaurant clearly prioritised takeout orders over people sitting in. We waited 20min for plates to be cleared from the table after finishing, no one asked if we wanted any more drinks, we had to ask for dessert menus and after ordering had to chase twice for them to bring the dessert as 30mins after ordering they hadn’t arrived. Two hours for two course is unacceptable. We had to leave in a hurry and the staff weren’t forthcoming with the bill and when it arrived they added a service charge! Good food bur avoid this branch.

Great food. Very tasty and good size portions. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy restaurant. Reasonable prices.

This place is terrible from the moment we walked in . They delayed seating us. Then it took them 20 minutes to give us menus . We had to ask them again and again if we could order. When we did the drinks came 15 minutes late. The food came even later. Missing orders. They were there to cater to the deiveroo men. At one point there was 17 deliveroo men waiting in the restaurant for the orders to be driven away. We spoke to the on site manager who made a bad excuse.. Don't waste your precious time or money here. Unfriendly staff, they don't care about your experience they just care about making money via their deliveroo services... We still left a tip because we feel bad for waiting staff but an awful instiuition out to rob your pockets and give you a terrible experience...

Friendly staff, good food, reasonably priced. Drinks a little expensive. Plenty of choice on the menu. Close to tube station.

Best padthai in town! Here with my two best friends, we were having a great time. It not just the Padthai that is very tasty but the cocktails is tasty.

First time trying Rosa’s, the positives are a well marked menu and flexibility to change the dishes with egg to vegan and plenty of options for every course. The tofu Penang with coconut rice was tasty, the veggie starter platter (with 3 vegan and one veggie starter) was ok; tasty summer rolls and pumpkin crackers, salt and pepper tofu was boring and bland and the sweetcorn fritters had run out! Didn’t try the spring rolls but review from omni partner was good, all accompanied by an ok sauce. Coconut water had also run out which was a shame. Service was good although only one guy seemed to be working so it was a good job it wasn’t busy. There was a little wait for our starters and we’d barely touched them when the mains came so the table was crammed full. Other than a few things being unavailable after we ordered, the other negative here is the restaurant is just a bit shabby; windows need a clean, interior a little shabby and the menus too. Nice easy spot for a vegan Thai at ok London prices but there is definitely better Thai food in the city.

Four of us for lunch today [Sunday]. Food was awful. Ran out of beef so ended up with chicken soup starter and chicken main dish. Service poor. £5.80 for a small can of beer. Total £126 for 4. One of us left almost the whole main dish. Overcharged £7.80 which we got refunded. The only nice touch was the two women in the party got glasses of Prosecco for Mothers Day. Not recommend but to be fair all the restaurants around Finsbury Park station are outrageously expensive presumably to cover the high business rates.

Bad service overall. The priority seemed to be delivery orders, not customers eating within the restaurant. Staff unfriendly and uninterested in any kind of customer service. Horrendously overpriced. Food, very mediocre. Avoid

Don't go. The food was terrible. Tasteless. The staff ignored us because they were so busy with the delivery orders. They even brought our main course without clearing our starters so there wasn't anywhere to put the plates. They forgot part of our drinks, starters and main course! It's a small restaurant but there were more delivery drivers than customers. The restaurant was also really cold because the door was constantly being opened and closed by the delivery drivers.

Staff were nice, even if it seemed like they didn’t overly enjoy working at Rosa’s. Given the standard of food, I don’t blame them. Whole chunks of ginger and rough sticks of lemongrass in my soup almost choked me. Noodles were bland, prawns rubbery. I’m pretty sure it’s an insult to Thai cuisine. It’s a shame as I heard Rosa’s used to be very good but I imagine they’ve sold themselves out to a private equity fund who don’t give a damn about standards or indeed their customers.

The vegetable spring rolls were good though I was not a fan of the chicken satay- it was wayyy too dry and peanut sauce was too thick. The sweetcorn fritters were Ok.

Awful food. Meat in curry sinewy and overcooked with undercooked potatoes thrown in. Sticky rice returned as it was like wallpaper paste. Staff not interested in customer satisfaction. Terrible overpriced poor food.

I booked a table as it was a Saturday evening. Staff didn’t seem to find it and spent 5 minutes cleaning a table used for takeaway orders. We spent the whole evening trying to get attention from a waiter. The main came before the starter....

Staff were friendly and accommodating but the food was a let down. Seafood with chilli had 3 small prawns and 3 bits of very rubbery squid for £12. Rest of the dish was a few bits of onion, a few green beans and several (inedible)...

Rosa’s Thai Cafe Finsbury Park is located by the station. A nice establishment that’s been opened for 3 months. I had the King Prawn Pad Thai for £12.50. There’s a service charge. Friendly staff and the toilets were clean.

Ordered online take away. Very quick service, good quality and generous portions though highly priced. But one of the main ingredients to my pad tai crushed peanuts - was missing!

Love Rosa for their rich and delicious curries, I always go for a red one with chicken/prawns or the Massaman Curry which is the top👍Fried spring rolls are the must starter to go with an order.
