Rosa's Carnaby in City of London, Westminster

Disappointed. Asked for little more curry sauce as my food was very dry. The server simply refused to give it and I had to mix water in my food to make it edible. It was very frustrating. Never visiting them again

We orders the green curry and pad thai with rice . The green curry was overpowering with chilli flavour, My wife asked for water after the first bite and complained it was vey spicy the waitress laughed and gave us both water I took our all the chilli’s to hopefully make it better. I finished the green curry myself but should have sent it back from the start. The pad Thai was too sweet as well. When we got the bill we both complained that they should not put too many chill’s in the curry, the waitress laughed. So in conclusion I don’t recommend this place or the staff and best take your appetite elsewhere.

Nice little restaurant just off Carnaby Street. Good vibe, with an excellent menu. Had the sharing platter for starters and a beef masaman curry for main course - both excellent. The only slight disappointment on the night was no drought beer, but the food was great.

Horrible service. The wait staff were extremely rude and absentminded. We were served the mains before the starters. None of the food was served hot. They forgot one of the items in our order and did not even apologise for the mistake. They also tried to serve our desserts mid meal. When we asked them to serve desserts after our mains, they simply stashed the plates away and served them to us at the end of our meal. By then the desserts had been sitting for over an hour and had gone soggy and warm. Would not recommend to anyone.

I tried the Thai green curry however it was so spicy my mouth is burning.. I did find that it was rather on the expensive side although it did taste nice. The terrible part of it was that my friend found plastic in her food I didn’t have an issue of mine. They didn’t charge her for her meal but they charge for mine and said they would remove service charge but they didn’t remove the service charge he also said that he will take 20% off but he although each a player sent off you didn’t remove the service charge so all in all not really any kind of difference. I won’t be eating there again as my friend could have chocked on that plastic

I ordered a pad thai, sent it back due to missing ingredients. the waiter brought it back to the table but it wasn't nice to look at or taste I left without eating it.

The staff at the restaurant were aloof, and more interested in their phones than helping customers with their choices and orders. Quality of food was not up to par with other Rosa's branches. Came lukewarm. Glasses and dishes weren't clean always, some having debris from meals prior. A proper and thorough quality check needed honestly.

Poor table booking management. Indifferent staffs. Visitors can’t sit in bc they said all tables were booked, even though there were many left.

Traditional Thai dishes with some outstanding flavours! Their menu has a variety of options with rice & noodle dishes with pork, chicken with a variety of spices/heat, to skewers and platters with some awesome sauces! All at a reasonable price with good service! Kids loved the boba drinks and various teas. Ended up going there several times because it was so good!

We had an uneven experience. Sweetcorn cakes, chicken satay were great. The chicken larb salad was ok. The papaya salad was too sour (too much lime) and the payaya was too raw. The jungle curry was burn your mouth chilli hot (and we eat spicy hot food!). The drunken noodles dido not have even one piece of basil, dampening the flavors. For some reason the sparkling water was warm, though they brought ice when we requested. The service was good.

Absolutely delicious food, was very fresh hot and tasty! The service was fantastic! Everyone was super friendly will definitely be going back. We highly recommend the pad Thai. :)

Excellent food and great value for money. I ordered a dish with king prawns and you generally never receive more than 5 but there was at least 10 in my dish. Only criticism is it’s a bit tight in terms of room and was a bit squashed against the wall. Otherwise faultless and would definetly recommend.

So we decided to give this another chance on our recent visit to London after the last time. The food wasn’t great, lukewarm and really not worth the money. The food here is great. I have made the mistake of eating in a few of times and in doing so exposed myself and those in my company to the flippant, arrogant and contemptuous manner of the staff. On one occasion my guest and I, seeing the restaurant with only one couple dining, sat down at a table for four. We were told rudely to move to a table for two despite the fact that the other couple were also sitting at a table for four. They kept on about it in a very rude and bossy way. We moved but noted that the restaurant stayed empty for the duration of our meal.I have never felt welcome here. The food is great so I bought take away a few times but even then the manner of the staff was unwelcoming and abrasive. I gave up on the food and the staff. I now buy Thai food from people who are nice to me and my guests.

To go with the cold, damp weather outside we had cold damp noodles inside. We went inside for the lunch express, now express means fast, here express meant “we forgot your food” it wasn’t until the waitress looked at us and thought these people haven’t eaten and have been siting here for a long time, let me see what’s going on” she returned with our food. We got the tofu in a tamarind sauce. Three small blocks of tofu in soy sauce. If there was tamarind in it, it was microscopic. Cold and hard.. next was the salad rolls.. ah nothing like the taste of bean sprouts, vermicelli rice noodles and lettuce .. and that’s all. Now the main.. a congealed limp, lump of flavorless, cold and oily horrible excuse for noodles. It closely resembled a plug of hair I once pulled out of a drain.. and it tasted like it as well. It was a shameful exposition of culinary disappointment. No flavor, no spice, no way.

They refused to give a table for 1 when half the restaurant is empty, the waiter raised her hand and refused to give me a table and said no space for you - the worst and most disgusting service anyone has ever given me.

We have been asked to pay the service charge, when we wanted to take it off, we have been asked the reason, according to what i know, that service charge is not obligatory in the UK, therefore, we should not be asked for the reason.

It was a reasonably busy evening, but I wouldn’t say fully packed. We waited at least 20 minutes to be asked to order, even after guests who arrived after us were being served. The food is delicious, spring rolls and pad Thai are great.

Det var lunchtid och vi var hungriga. Hittade detta ställe med enkel inredning och asiatisk mat. Verkade poppis för det var fullt med gäster. Några gick när vi kom så vi fick ett bord. Went on Friday night. Service is very surly and slow. They didn't even acknowledge us when we walked in. No eye contact, nothing. Waited 5 minutes to be told our table was 'just there'.

Comfort is not a high priority here and the service is curt. Food was expensive for what it was and nothing special. All in all an average experience. I won't be returning which is a shame as I like good Thai food served with a smile.

What arrived on our plates was nothing like the description in the menu. Firstly, the grumpy waitress got both the drinks and the meal order wrong. Secondly, when the correct drinks arrived the glasses were hot and the drinks tasted like nothing (we ordered two gin and tonics). When the meals arrived, we got moosh with watery sauce and a slice of chilli, instead of creamy Penang Curry with vegetables as shown in the menu. As people that frequent Thai restaurants all over the world, this has got to be the worst we’ve ever had. The food was NOT freshly made and tasted like leftovers, drowned in a greyish, watery chilly sauce. There are much better Thai restaurants and friendlier staff in London with much better value for money. We will never go back there again.

Когда наконец-то принесли блюда,нам не дали к ним ничего,а за соседние столики они к пад-таю дали набор салонок из перца,сахара,масла итд,в общем все то,что в Тае и так всегда дают. Блюда конечно вкусные в принципе,но из-за обслуживания совершенно нет желания сюда возвращаться!

I’m very disappointed in this cafe and I don’t normally give a two star ratings unless the service and cleanliness has fallen way below standard and on this occasion this cafe has been given a two star rating because of that. If the service and cleanliness was above reasonable standard then I would have given a four star.

런던에 여러 지점이 있는 식당으로 카나비 지점에 갔엇습니다. 크게 기대를 안 했는데 생각보다 식당 인테리어도 깔끔하고 괜찮았습니다. 똠얌은 코코넛 밀크가 많이 들어가서 새콤한 맛은 덜하고 딱 서양인 입맞에 맞춘 느낌이었고 무삥은 실패할 수가 없네요. 브레이크타임도 따로 없었던 걸로 기억합니다.

Pedí un pollo Pad Thai para la entrega utilizando deliveroo. La presentación es buena. Se entrega utilizando recipientes como los utilizados para las comidas preparadas en el supermercado, pero la cubierta es más resistente. Supongo que debe ser así, ya que se utiliza para alimentos calientes y puede contener líquidos. La porción es buena al igual que la textura de la comida (bien frita). Pensé que era un poco soso. El costo es bastante caro para llevar 10. 25 + entrega). Quizás es mejor comer. Como comida para llevar, mi calificación para Rosa es promedio.

The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant has a lot of tables so feels a bit tight but you can order to collect or delivery and they only take 10-15 minutes.

El miércoles por la noche, sin reservación, nos levantamos alrededor de las 21:30. Deberíamos haber reservado. El lugar estaba lleno y nos sentamos afuera por 20 minutos con nuestras cervezas.

This place certainly impressed more than I was expecting. The service and setting was informal as you'd expect, however the beef pad si ew I had was the best I've had in the UK! Well worth it just for that. Will try and return next time I'm around there!

That's my second time visiting this restaurant, everyone is friendly and the service is quick. I asked our server and said that most of the dishes can be made vegan. So a lot of mains and appetisers to choose from. Also they make very lovely cocktails I've tried the boozy thai iced tea and the ginger and lemongrass fizz

Visited here before a show at the palladium. Had heard a lot of about this mini-chain and as a lover of Thai food had wanted to visit for a while. We had a few dishes that my group all shared including the massaman curry, pad thai and dirty rice. It was all very nice but nothing special and quite average as far as Thai food goes. A bit average. We found this cafe upon a whim on my Birthday day out and we had such a fantastic time. We both had the Panang Red Thai curry one with beef and other with chicken and it was absolutely delicious.

My second visit to this friendly, authentic Thai cafe. The food is brilliant, authentic and good value. The cafe has a great atmosphere and we’ve loved both our meal here. Will definitely return when we’re next in London!
