Breakfast are great. Northern Soul do is very good, runs every 2 months.

Had a fantastic take away omelette. Very friendly and accounting. Looking forward to going back.

It was ok. It was used for a birthday party , but I found it a little chilly and the decorating needs a freshen up.

The Rolleston Soul Night's DJ's set's are way above the legal decibel limits and there isn't enough seating for the amount of people who visit. I love the place but I won't be going again.

A versatile and friendly club, with plenty of facilities and a smashing restaurant. The main function room is excellent, with a built-in data projector and screen - we regularly use it for Burton u3a meetings, which it is ideally suited to.

Invited in rather unfortunate circumstances as an after funeral get together. However, such an amazing venue, full of character. Fantastic staff, (two ladies did all the catering for the finger buffet) as well as tending the bar in the function room. A proper club for good honest working folk.

Can't comment on food ad it's only breakfasts and lunches although I have been told it is good. Beer and wine excellent. Remember it a members only club. Non members are welcome with a member.

Went for lunch, enjoyed the cottage pie a lot

Stopped for breakfast. The bacon and sausage was excellent and sufficient quantity. Tea was good although large latte was on the small side. Very pleasant breakfast though.

Food brilliant as usual. Chef's a marvel. Best curry I've had in many a year and the service is excellent, if a little cheeky 🤣 Good selection of ales and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Altogether a very pleasing experience. Would recommend wholeheartedly. (Particularly the serving "wenches"🤣🤣🤣)

The Rolleston Club is a friendly and is great for a social drink and the food is great value for money and you won’t be disappointed.

Pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings with reasonably priced, substantial, well-cooked and tasty seasonable food.

My last review was in April 2019. We are now coming here twice maybe three times a week for lunch time. Always being greeted with a smile and a warm welcome from the staff. The food is served hot and well presented. One of our party thinks the bacon and egg sandwiches take some beating.. He says, he cannot find anywhere else that has such nicely cooked lean bacon as here . The cottage pie and lasagne are piping hot and served in large glass dishes, supposedly for one but there is enough for two servings in these dishes. I haven't tried one as not a meat eater, but I'm told they are very tasty and also being served with garlic bread, must be really satisfying. The breakfast also served with toast if wanted has plenty of items and quite filling too. I now, must mention the most pleasant and oblidging person, who,.. whatever hastle or stress he's under always gives a smile and time to chat, no matter who you are or, whenever you go and that is Sean. He makes an excellent job, cooking, serving and generally making his customers happy and satisfied. We go away with remarks like, 'I enjoy going there, it is good value and good food' I haven't heard one complaint from any of our diners. All ages visit and all are made welcome.

Went here for the first time last week with a friend who suggested it. My daughter and I had lunch and my friend and I had coffee too. It was LOVELY!!! The food was tasty, cooked fresh, and the coffee a real treat too! Staff were friendly and the people in there were amazing too. One customer gave my daughter £1 for opening the door for them. It was so lovely!!! We will be back now we know how welcoming they are there and how tasty the food was. It was really good prices too. Big thumbs up from us!!!

Me and my dad popped in to the club yesterday lunch time for a bite to eat and a game of pool. We couldn't fault it! The service was quick and the food was delicious, with the bar staff, who were regularly on there feet, happy to help.It's a perfect place for all ages wether it's having brunch or attending the evening entertainment, I would definitely recommend it !

What a lovely family friendly club. Went with my two boys to watch the entertainment and it was great. The boys loved going to the bar by themselves to buy sweets and crisps as the bar staff were so friendly. Not many places like this left so they must be doing something right. Will definitely be back and may even try their lunch or coffee and cake.

I'd only visited Rolleston Club (RC) a couple of times before but each time I visit you can tell it's the centre of the village of Rolleston on Dove and in fact, the surrounding areas as well with a nice community feel and a great atmosphere. The 🍻 beers are well kept, the staff are friendly and if you want a snack the cobs are really fresh with a nice selection of fillings🤗 It's very good value and I took a membership for when I visit with friends ... 👍✅. Well done RC ... looking forward to my next visit 😉

Visited the club for a 90’s night which in itself was good. The actual problem was the bar. Whilst I can appreciate the bar would be and was busy the running of the bar was a joke. The staff were tripping over each other and annoying people by not actually serving in any kind of waiting order. After waiting for some time to place a large drinks order I was told the card machine wasn’t working. In actual fact the card machine was working, the server just couldn’t be bothered to use it. Terrible service. This is the point that I decided to leave and went for a drink in the spread instead. Quite clearly the club isn’t interested in taking my money, that’s fine. I won’t be returning.

Called in for a 'bite to eat' Tues 2nd April 2019. Just a note they do not do food on Mondays. The tables now have mats in place and printed menus on the tables. The menu has also been altered. We only wanted a panini or sandwich, but they do hot meals which are nicely cooked and tasty. I had Tuna, Mayo, and tomato panini, 1) had fish finger sandwich and 1) bacon & brie panini. The paninis have changed from a baguette type to a panini. (which is pointed out on the menu that it has been changed) It was explained to us that they have done this. I was expecting a smaller type as each time we visit I ask for 1/2 a panini because they are so filling. When it arrived it was as big as the previous full one. This place seems well supported and justly so. The staff who are always cheerful and very obliging. They chat to their customers and make each person feel so welcome . They do breakfasts, light lunches i.e. lasagne, cottage pies, breakfast wraps, sandwiches, paninis, cakes and scones etc., This new menu seems to have more choices and also extended times for serving the meals, I think they finish approx 3 pm, although I'm not sure on this. Prices are very reasonable and meals nicely presented. There is a bar if you would like a pint with your meal or just visiting for coffees and drinks. It really is worth coming as we quite often do now. We have never been disappointed with our meals, whether just a sandwich or a nice home cooked warm meal. The staff certainly make this place even better to come to. If you visit Rolleston at any time it's worth a visit here. I will be returning again very soon.

Lovely little club, with great home cooked food. The food isn’t going to win awards and hasn’t got a wide range, however the food great and has nice atmosphere.

This is a members club by night but during the day, it is a coffee and snack place selling breakfasts and light lunches and very reasonable costs. The staff and clientele are friendly and the food was nicely cooked, reasonably priced and served quickly.

Lively staff and place to meet friends

Visited here two days running. 30th January 2018 just 3 of us for a quick lunch. I had a bowl of tomato soup, which was hot, served with a baguette. This alone was really filling. I also ordered a Tuna & mayo paninni, but as described on the menu, it's a baguette really. The baguettes are warmed, nice, crusty and fresh. You can have garnish salad or crisps. I opted for crisps.Unfortunately I couldn't eat the baguette, so a very pleasant lady came and said 'I can wrap it for you to take home if you would like' She came back with the panini wrapped in foil inside a small carrybag for me, which I thought was most helpful. One of us had bacon & brie (cranberry sauce), which, she had when we visited a little while ago. She enjoyed it then and also, again this time. One had a bacon sandwich, which he enjoyed. He had a cappuccino, one had tea & I had a hot milk (which I like) and it was hot. Today 31st January 2018 we visited again this time for breakfast. We arrived about 10 40am. 4 of us. Two men had the Full English Breakfast for £5 25 one had breakfast panini, which consists of sausage, tomato and mushrooms. I decided to have a scone with coffee. The gentleman who served us asked if I would like it warm, which I did and it was most enjoyable. For drinks we had orange, apple juice, cappuccino and hot milk. Whilst sitting in the lounge the 'walkers' who are often seen around the village came in for drinks etc., so it is quite full and seems a popular coffee shop. They do things like lasanga, fish finger butties and other meals on a specials board. I can recommend this club for either breakfast, or lunch, or even early tea, as they finish (I think) at 4pm. It's all freshly prepared food and pleasantly served. In my opinion it's definitely worth a visit.

This was an amazing evening - so SO entertaining - they did so many different styles and the female singer was enchanting engaging and funny. Amazing vocals covering male and female songs from killers to Martha Reeves - so good it’s not even clever!!

This is an excellent village social club. Entertainment available at the weekends. A coffee shop in the lounge bar is available Tuesday to Saturday, serving delicious cakes, sandwiches and light lunches. Call and sample.

We have visited Rolleston club many times before and this time was much the same. The food was freshly made and very cheap,it's very good value for money. The drink service was a bit slow but this was expected as it was a busy Friday lunch time. Rolleston club is a good place to go if you want a quick lunch which is very good value for money. My favourite is the lasagna as it comes with 2 pieces of garlic bread and a small salad.

We took a rare visit to Rolleston Club to see a band we knew have a good reputation. Being asked to pay £3 on entrance was no problem at all as I can see the club could use this money for development - usually these sorts of bands are Free of Charge in most establishments but it was really no bother. The band (The Detroits), as expected, were good and provided entertainment throughout the night. Unfortunate then that a small group of mid-20 year olds were frowned upon by the regular customers and the guys who were collecting money on the door. Even going as far as to apologise to each other for the "rabble" that had dared to enjoy themselves and the live music. Of course, we had had a few drinks and inevitably thought we had become superb dancers but we were hardly "rabble" or offensive to any of the clientele or staff members. In fact, we are a fair bunch. It's a shame that those who like to spend their time within Rolleston Club regularly see themselves as superior because of age, location, or another poor assumption. I would have raised the issue on the night could it not have been perceived as drink-infused. Therefore I shall leave this review and hope that lessons can be learned by the Rolleston Club Faithful and their poor opinions of younger visitors.

First visit was wilst out cycling, they are very friendly (even to a group of lycra clad cyclists, second was with familily and grandson(4 months old) and again very accomodating.. Limited menu but breakfast and specials are both excellant and very reasonably priced. As it is a club it is also licensed and has hand pulled beeers also cheap.Highly recommended.

Hearty full English breakfast and fantastic value for money. I asked for French toast which wasn't on the menu but the staff were more than happy to make it for me. There's a good variety of ground coffee. It's a cosy coffee shop with a lovely view of the stream. Nice to be served with a smile! I would definitely recommend the Brie & Caramelised onion panini!

Return visit, this time had oatcakes and breakfast. My son had a make your own gingerbread man which kept him quiet and happy! All lovely x

Open every morning but Monday. Lovely staff, cheap food. My Breakfast was hot, fast and yummy. Range of hot and cold food offered Coffee is good and there are kids meals and space for pushchairs or wheelchairs.
