Rolled Up in Leicester

My husband and I were visiting Leicester and chose this restaurant by chance. The owner made us very welcome and the chicken Karachi was absolutely divine. Made fresh and full of flavour. We have dined in many top restaurants and would say you could not get better food there. Somewhat lacking in atmosphere as we were the only diners but the food made up for that. Do not be put off by the limited menu because you know you will get a freshly made dish. We will definitely go there again when we are next in Leicester.

Visited here for the very first time and was amazed at the quality of the food. The menu is a bit limited but we ordered the samosas for starters and they were delicious. We had the lamb karai and brain masala omg they were they best we have had in a long time. The brain masala in particular was fantastic highly recommended. A little gem of Pakistani food. Very authentic and has that home made feel and taste.

Truly the best food I have eaten in a restaurant in a long time. Nice to have a really authentic Pakistani restaurant in Leicester. Great service. I will go again and again Shaheed

This is really fresh and delicious food. The karahi were full,of flavour with fresh ginger,lime,coriander all in evidence. A family business with a really friendly engaging owner,can’t wait to go back

Visited Rolled up this evening and wish I hadn't. The menu is very limited and poor and the prices are relatively high. For example a Lamb Karahi for 4 people will set you back £25 and there are no grilled starters such as kebabs or chicken tikka. Food overall was decent enough but very expensive for what you get.

By far the best Karahi outside of Pakistan. We found this restaurant during a recent visit. The food here is served fresh with friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Couldn’t get better currys/karahis in Leicester. Excellent service. Fresh food with sumptuous taste. A must visit.
