Items missing again, but again nothing done about it from just eat, unless.

Our first time dining in, and it was lovely, and will dine in again. Food & service was incredible! Staff are Friendly and attentive. We had a selection of different starters, each one delicious and mains, saag, bhuna, tikka masala, all different, and perfectly cooked. I think it would create a lovely ambiance if the lights could be slightly dimmed We already can't wait too return. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The food was reasonable but nothing special. The lamb was fatty and not a great quality cut. Service was not especially friendly and, unlike most takeaway services, there was no discount or benefit to collecting it myself. Apparently they are not VAT registered but the receipt says ‘including VAT’. I would not warn prospective customers away but I would not recommend this to friends.

Amazing as always. Myself, my family and friends have been eating at Dhaka deli for over 20 years, they get it right every time. The food is bursting with flavour, if you haven’t already you must try their tikka masala sauce, it is the best in the entire country.. and for something with a kick try their garlic chilli masala or for us we had a veggie bhaji side dish made madras hot. Dhaka deli is run by the kindest family too, who have a special place in my heart.. genuine and they want you to enjoy the food. What are you waiting for? Order Dhaka now! Thanks chaps - Rachel 😃

We went end of the last month , me , my husband and my son ,, but when we sat down ,, my husband asked for normal water and they started laughing at him because he asked in his own language not in English and when I asked why did u laugh ,, they started saying we didn’t laugh at you ..we don’t want to eat there but they started saying sorry so over and all I didn’t like it there because they are racist towards their own community

Dhaka deli is one of the best Indian restaurants in Leicester, friendly costumer service and foods are absolutely delicious, I’d definitely recommend this place for takeaway or dine in.

Whilst searching on Narborough Road for somewhere to eat found this place close to our favourite café ( café 2-10) welcomed in and sat down .....Asian music plays in a bright white walled restaurant ( all clean and tidy)....we ordered a chicken puri...and a tikka lamb birriani...well it was the tastiest two dishes we've ate in a long time ,good spice heat too...and a not so overpriced meal....this place is a great find and well go back there again .

Im sorry to have to say but i did not enjoy the food. The prawn curry, prawns were tiny lituarlly. The chicken tikka masala just sauce and meat, could taste strong coconut and very sweet. The starter was very salty, didnt taste the garlic chilli chicken. I spent almost £30 just such a shame.

The food was good in both quantity and quality. lamb biryani is bit more with masala but liked it. The tandoori chicken was just amazing and i am sure i will keep ordering that. overall food is good tasty.

I've had a take away a few times from here recently. The lamb roganjosh is delicious. The food is always hot and fresh. I won't go anywhere else now.

New to Leicester. Picked this restaurant for a Saturday night meal. Food excellent.

Proper top nosh. Every Tuesday after work at 10pm I order a cheeky bit of Dhaka Dheli and every Tuesday at 10:35pm the food arrives like clockwork. Absolutely gorgeous nosh. 10/10 recommend. Their cheese and chilli naan is spectacular as far as naan bread goes.

Never again. VERY disappointing. Everything was delivered cold so, not owning a microwave, I had to heat it all up in the oven beforehand. The chicken was really tough to cut/chew so I didn’t eat it. The mashed potato dish was actually a boiled potato dish. Definitely one of those times when you realise why you rarely order.

The food was quite good, tried the lamb biryani, chicken risala and the Dhaka deli special along with fish tikka and chicken garlic tikka as starters. The lamb biryani was ok, salan was nice. The Dhaka deli special was really nice. Must try. Limited selection of drinks. Atmosphere is quite nice, the place is clean and well kept. Prices are reasonable as well for the quantities given. The starters are small.

This is the best Indian in Leicester but they need to sort out their horrific delivery times out. Just don't take orders you can't fulfil!

Dire...my missus said after this shocker that we should've gone specsavers before..the meat was invisible,all 3 pieces of the MAIN courses...at least i can't criticise it's flavour as i never felt i experienced it

I dont call four small pieces of pakora a starter especially at 4.95, I expected it to be served with salad and a sauce very sparse, and six pieces of chicken in the chicken tikka masala, also the popadom was crushed. as nice as it was i wont be ordering again over £20 spent very disappointed.

Always lovely food. Disappointing didn’t get Nan bread which should have been included with balti this time though.

Used the reasurant before (eat in), and the food was fantastic, so it was great to see they were on JUST EAT for takeaway, was not disappointed food was on time and boiling hot. Will definitely be using the reasurant and takeaway service again 5*

I collected this time as I now don't live in the area and again Dhaka Deli didn't disappoint the food was amazing and still hot. I had my dog in the car so rang and asked if my food was ready it wasn't at this point (I did ring early) and before another 10mins had passed and could ring again, they brought it out to me in the car!!!!! Best Indian by far. Just wished they delivered to my new house

The food is good but this time we got mostly gravy with not much solid food in it. The curry was supposed to be a mild one, but was hot and the prices have gone up too much. Won't be buying again.

A 4.5* really! Have eaten here many times over the years and previously have only ever really enjoyed the lavish decor! All that has gone now, but the stark white interior does brighten the place and the removal of the TV from the lobby area is a blessing! The service was excellent - quietly understated, professional, but warm. Couldn't fault it. Food was first class - the flavours of each dish were pure and not generic. Beautifully spiced fish and chicken with light, fluffy breads & warm, crunchy poppadoms with a great pickle tray. Highly recommend the tandoori chicken! Moist, well marinated and full of flavour. Only tiny letdown was the soft drink I ordered, obviously out of a large bottle and sadly flat. The glasses were sparkling clean, as was the cutlery and linen. Coloured, fabric napkins added a welcome 'pop' to the table. All in all, an unexpectedly lovely dining experience. Maybe bring a couple of more authentic, but not too obtrusive Indian art pieces to the walls?

Wasn’t for me. The butter chicken was a bit too sweet for me, but that’s my personal taste. Naan and rice were good.

Visited recently for takeaway one evening. Service was good and food was ready as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately the food was very mild and bland compared to what I'm used to. It's not the worst place but there are many better alternatives if you are looking for Indian food locally. Overall score 5/10

Lovely place with amazing food & friendly staff I often stagger past it late at night when everything has closed, but they always manage to accommodate me and are lovely with it.

The rest of the order was lovely, but the Jalfrezi was far too hot. It was so hot it spoiled the rest of our meal. A lot got wasted because it was uneatable. We won't be ordering this again.

I was eating my food and ended up biting into a bone, I do not appreciate this as all chicken should be checked and cut with out the bones. I appreciate this may be a mistake but this put me off my food for it to end up being thrown

Normally we order from here and it’s perfect. Today it turned up a hour early meaning my other half wasn’t home from work yet and I’d only just got home (yes we could microwave it but defeats the point I could have just cooked saving me £35 The nan breads was cold and soggy the curry’s had no flavour i actually added salt and chilli to mine, and the rice wasn’t even the one we ordered. What normally would be our favourite place to order from we are thinking of not ordering from here again. So disappointed

Great food, we love it from here. The only thing we've decided is to have something different from the Tikka paneer as it tastes too sweet and coconuty for us. Apart from that it's lovely.

Had a meal at here last weekend and I must say it was great. I had the chicken tikka masala and my partner had a vegetarian option, we both loved it. The food tasted lovely and is very reasonably priced, the staff were very friendly and attentive, the restaurant is clean and well presented. We will definitely be back & would highly recommend Dhaka Deli.

Going to be honest as I spent quite a substantial amount last time I ordered and it wasn't up to scratch but I reffrained from leaving a negative review however this time I have no choice your curries need alot of work your head chef gives Dhaka) a bad name 😅 if hes syleti he needs a new profession your starters are okay your sundries are okay your naans lack consistency in the filling your mint sauce needs to be a mint green colour taste is generic) your onion salad lacks tomatoes and mint I can go on but I won't.

Good service, really tasty food and well priced. Went there on a Groupon deal several years ago. Since then it has become a firm favourite.

A group of us arrived here late shortly before they were due to close but nothing was too much trouble and the service and food were first class. I foolishly left my mobile phone in the restaurant and the owner kindly looked after it and I managed to collect it from him the following morning. Thanks for everything.

Very tasty food, plenty of it and enjoyed it all. Wish the 'dry okra' was actually dry and not in a sauce but it was great still. Will order again for sure.

I had a brilliant Chicken Biryani, chips were great too, as was the keema naan. Table had a Chicken Balti and a Saag, and we all very much enjoyed our food. Would be coming again definitely

We have been regular diners at the dakha,wonderful family run Bangladeshi restaurant ,best food ....puts paddy martens to shame reasonably priced quality food,masala chips a must....friendly atmosphere our favourite curry experience ...

Chicken Korma was perfect! Alot of kormas I've had are far too spicy and not creamy at all but this was lovely, my partner had the chicken tikka and that was also nice. If i had to criticise anything it would be the fact that it came too early

From start to finish the service and the food was extremely brilliant, rang for a delivery the person on the phone was kind and bubbly. Might I say I have been going to many many indian restaurants and takeaways in leicester and arguably this is by far my number one rated. The food was absolutely heavenly delicious. The young delivery driver with the BMW was an absolute gem of a guy, friendly and always had a smile on him, I don't normally tip but this guy definitely deserved the 10 Pounds I gave him. Brilliant guys keep it up!!

To start I must say that if a restaurant can’t master butter chicken then I assume the rest of the menu is terrible. Food lacked depth of flavor and any flavor really (which is very odd for an Indian dish). To say the least, the butter chicken tasted like cake batter. It was so oddly sweet I couldn’t bare finishing it (and that’s even after adding my own spices and salt to the food). The coconut rice is ridiculously sweet (????). Again, recurring issue in the dishes we ordered. To give credit where it is due the paneer was fantastic. Tasted really good, but that’s about it. Even the mint sauce served with the paneer looked so artificial and unnatural because of how vividly green it was. Anyway if you’re craving some good Indian food order from anywhere but here. Value for food was bad/neutral. Overall, would not recommend.

Good food at affordable price. We didn't like the briyani, it was some kinda rice mixed with gravy. Not upto the mark.

We enjoyed our meals very much indeed. The three of us shared the mains to which no one was disapointed. We've ordered from here many a time, sometimes regular stuff we have had a couple of weeks before or a very complete different menu and nothing at all has ever been poor. Spicey, great heatness to the kind of dish you have bought....fantastic. Delivery times are excellent and piping hot. Contacting and discussing the restaurant are also good too. Dhaka Deli -You provide an excellent food service. Thank you very much.

They took 1 and 40 mins to deliver. The food was very oily and not much meat. Just onions and tomatoes. The lamb gosht and aloo had 1 potato chopped in half. And the crispy butter chicken look awful. Absolutely not worth the money you spend. If you want a decent Indian takeaway look elsewhere
