Website said they were open Xmas Day. Their site allowed us to order food. I had done much research for Xmas day to find a takeaway that was open. Despite allowing us to order, and receiving a message comfirming our order, they clearly were not open

We ordered a takeaway to be collected in 30minutes. It was ready for collection on the dot.(A busy Friday evening as well). Our first visit but won’t be the last. We ordered 6 different dishes, plus trimmings and each one was excellent.

Dropped in here after a game golf . Food was amazing and service was excellent. Will definitely return .

I’ve eaten Indian food either takeaway or dine in all over the UK whilst being away or at home. I have to say reviews on internet sites are subjective and personal experiences. That said for me the Chicken Madras from Rokalis is the best I’ve tasted ! High praise indeed, but the wife loves the food from here as well and she’s gradually working her way through the menu! Give it a go I reckon you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely food and friendly service

Was a bit sceptical when placing my order. Thought it's going to be some "fake" seaside town Indian or mediocre at the best. Oh boy, I was so wrong and pleasingly surprised. Food arrived piping hot, everything was tasty, not too watery or oily, decent size portions. Naans was lovely especially Kulsa. Jalfrezi had a nice kick to it but not overpoweringly hot.

Very tasty and generous portion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We ate in here on Saturday 18 th Feb, had a table of four. The food was excellent. Freshly cooked and tasted wonderful. Prices were reasonable and the service was very good. We would definitely go here again if we lived locally or were visiting the area.

Just had a really excellent meal here. Nice ambience, great food, lovely service from Dhoyal, complimentary chocs and port at the end of the meal. Nice House red. Poppadoms with chutney to get the pallet going....all in all a great experience. We will be back.

The oiliest greasiest nastiest Indian I've ever had. Totally disgusting. Every single item was absolutely swimming in probably the cheapest nastiest seed oils possible. Would have been annoyed at spending £25 on this garbage but at over £50 it's nothing short of robbery.

My wife and I chose this restaurant based upon the reviews as we were in the area for a couple of nights between Xmas and new year. As it turned out, we were the only people dining in during our mid-week visit, but there was a steady stream of take-away customers. Staff were very friendly, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Parking was easy in lay-by outside. We recommend this establishment.

One of the few restaurants locally that is open every day. Food is well priced and delicious. Service is relaxed and friendly. Very minor thing they didn't brush the table down when taking away starters so we sat in a mess of coconut and popadom crumbs. However, we enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back. Good food, good value and friendly service.

I ordered saag paneer, did you run out of paneer and pop to the corner shop for cheddar cheese because that’s what I got, absolutely disgusting

Stopped here while passing through for work. Different selection of sauce with spices with popadoms which made a nice change. The main course was lamb shashlick spiced up and again the food was top notch and portions are big too. I dined here in a middle of a heat wave and the Restaurant is air conditioned.which was nice. After having a few takeaways decided to visit with friends for a sit down - All had different meals all of which were very good - Both food and wine were sensibly priced and service was very good - Was on a Thursday so restaurant was very quiet - Will certainly return.

delivery arrived fairly promptly, but the prawn butterfly was stone cold, rubbery, the coating was like a large detached blanket of breadcrumbs that had come away from the prawn in one piece. It looked and tasted disgusting!. the onion bhajis would have been nicer bought from waitrose, the rogan josh and rice were poor, to say the least. i have had a lot of curries from a lot of different places, and this was really aweful!!! dont get your curry from here..

My husband just picked up our order and never again. I ordered vegetable bhuna as a vegetarian and aloo Gobi and my husband chicken tikka. The so called vegetable bhuna did not resemble anything of the kind in fact was Identical to the aloo Gobi, but they had put mushrooms and carrots in it seems as if trying to use up ingredients. My husband's chicken tikka was also very under par. The whole experience complete waste money and feel very ripped off.

Always use Rokalis as our Indian takeaway choice! The food is delicious and good value for money too! All staff are friendly and helpful and usually arrive 10-15 minutes before expected time which is great when you're hungry!

Stayed at PremierInn in Hordle overnight prior to getting a ferry to the Isle of Wight the following morning, saw this restaurant on Google Maps and thought I'd get a takeaway. Boy was I glad did! The food arrived hot, which was a great sign. The actual food itself was absolutely stunning. The chicken in the Chicken Tikka Starter was really big pieces of chicken that was exquisitely spiced and flavoursome. The same goes for all the meat in the Tandoori Mixed Grill. The Onion Bhaji were delicious too and my wife certainly enjoyed her Prawn Puri. The highlight however had to be the Peshwari Naan bread and a special shout out to the RED MINT SAUCE! If I'm ever in Hordle again then I know where I'm eating. Do you deliver to Cardiff by any chance?

Order delivered on time and still hot. Had two house specials and both were very nice. Lamb tender and large pieces of nicely cooked chicken tikka in the tava. First time using rokalis and will definitely order again.

Staying in local caravan park and googled best currys and found Rokalis. Food absolutely excellent, extremely tasty, plentiful, not in the least bit greasy. Would thoroughly recommend.

GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT FOOD Came all the way from Liverpool to visit the area and stumbled upon this lovely restaurant. We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and given excellent service along with tasty food. The presentation was also spot on and we were thankful when the lovely gentlemen oh so kindly gave us recommendations and directions on places to visit in the area. Definitely would come again.

Was sent a bottle of wine that had been opened and some missing.Sent two starters the same when I ordered different ons. The onion bhajies were obviously reheated and dry and rock hard.The garlic naan bread was thin as a rake,dry not garlic and cold.The samosas were much smaller than normal and cold.No apology or refund.Couldn’t care less.The chicken dish had no flavour and the pilau rice was cold.Really poor service costing £47.I have been a loyal customer for a long time with very good service.This was by far the worst takeaway ever and will never use again.Appauling

Worst food lie and my family’s have ever had the curry’s were disgusting chicken hard and over cooked also we were up all night with stomach upset and only had small portion of curry rang restaurant next day because could get hold of that night and told them about the food and asked for refund they wouldn’t not would never use again and would not recommend to my family or friends when you pay £38 for bad food and throwing it away and having upset stomach

Very good worth a visit, me personally love it as if you like hot its seems a bit hotter that the other, come well recommended from me.

I’m not a fan of takeaway food - however we don’t have much choice at the moment... We had a very good meal & we will definitely return when fully open as a restaurant!!

Food is lovely and great surroundings

Cold food, bland no flavor, worst takeaway ever am pretty sure they think they can getaway with serving horrible food like this as we are in lockdown. Would not recommend this place and due to me and my partner been sick this morning after this meal we have reported this establishment to environmental health this place should be closed only good thing was the delivery driver who was pleasant maybe because he new what rubbish we were about to eat

Ordered takeaway from here whilst on a trip - I am not from the area. It was delicious. Everything was spot on, tasted great and good portions. Particularly memorable was the chicken tikka in the Curries - the chunks of chicken tikka were huge! Recommend

We are on holiday in the area and decided to get a takeaway. The curries were quite watery and didn't have a huge amount of flavour. The peshwari naan was under baked and just had dry crumbly coconut inside. The mushroom rice was ok but needless to say I wouldn't go here again!

came here with my family, usually have a takeaway but decided to eat in. Lovely restaurant, nice decor and clean environment. Curry, service and food is of high quality, would recommend to anyone who loves a flavor some curry :)

Room for improvement. The waiter was really friendly and the food tasted good, but the meat was over cooked and the plates and glassware weren’t very clean.

Never written a review in my life however I ordered for collection ended up eating inside! I have recently moved to this area due to a job role I was offered, but let me tell you. Whenever I have been too tired to cook, Rokali’s has been on my speed dial! I cannot stress enough how AMAZING their food is! The chef must have hands carved out of gold, because each time I have ordered, the food has constantly been exceptional with the most perfect amount of spice and flavour. Food always arrives on time(sometimes even early), the presentation is phenomenal and the staff are incredibly friendly. Rokali’s has never let me down! I would definitely recommend.

I’ve been to a lot of Indian restaurants and I mean a lot and this was up there with the best in terms of the quality of the food and service. I had the tandoori chilli chilli chicken which tasted excellent. My wife had the Lamb Rogan and my children chicken korma and they loved it... As and when we’re back in the area we will definitely visit again. ‍♀️

Been using Blades since it opened which must be 20years or so. Fully recommend always nice atmosphere and always good haircut.

We moved here just before lockdown and left a really good Indian restaurant where we used to live. We found Rokalis and have had many fab takeaways delivered. Lovely staff and gorgeous food.

Had our first takeaway from Rokalis since lockdown. Food was sooooo tasty and piping hot. Can’t recommend this restaurant enough and looking forward to eating inside their lovely restaurant soon.

Have been here a few times and ordered takeaway too. The prices are good, and the quality of the food is exceptional. The service in the restaurant is great and the place looks great and is well cared for. A highly recommended restaurant by me!

Went along last night and tried this restaurant out as my last Indian got worst and it was time to change.After trying some lovely restaurants out in the area last night our prayers were answered.Lovely food of all types of spices as there were 4 of us in the party, great service as nothing to much trouble and the bill very competitive

Usually my favourite Indian but found chicken in my vegetable masala! Not impressed and don't feel confident that i can order another vegetarian dish without finding meat!

Although our takeaway was quite good I have awarded 3 stars to rokalis for the following reasons. Chicken madras had no discernible flavour, could have been anything. Could not find any King prawns in our king prawn biryani just tiny shrimps Peshwari nan looked liked a keema nan with bits of almonds etc put inside almost as an afterthought. Later in the evening after the meal my wife and I had heartburn, primarily due to the quantity of oil used in the cooking. We know from previous experiences that excess oil causes this. On the positive side lamb bhuna and chicken aan were both very nice and delivery was good.

Absolutely horrible food. The chicken bhuna tasted like it had been reheated - gross. Chicken Tikka was OK but tasted of nothing.

A good quality meal at a reasonable price. First visit and certainly not the last. Great 'smiley' service.... When the menu mentions Lamb Ceylon is V Hot... They mean it! Different and interesting for me.

Use this restaurant on a regular basis being local. Little hidden jem. Great food and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Ordered chicken madras, chicken melted in the mouth while the spice beautifully penetrated my buds. The lamb in the saag must of been shepherd by jesus himself. And our tarka dhal was seasoned to immense perfection. Absolutely rate to any mate!

Have visited many times in the past and loved the food and service but today we were presented with a new menu ... and lots of new specials for us to try. The food was seriously good, the Archery, Nag and Jaipur were fabulous. The younger members of our party had a Biryani, and the mixed tandoori grill, and again they loved their choice with samosas and we all had side dishes. I can't rate this restaurant highly enough ... food 5 star .. service exemplary... warm friendly atmosphere and a real family business. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

Had a takeaway and it was the worse food ive ever eaten. Bland with no real Indian flare at all. The chicken was over cooked and the sauce was watery. No real Indian flavor at all. Cannot understand how people can write such rubbish as they have on their reviews. They must be easily pleased or never had a decent currie. Most certainly will not be eating from this place ever again. The customer satisfaction is the furthest thing in mind of this restaurant .

Very expensive for a takeaway !!! Took over an hour to arrive and when it did it was cold!!!! I complained and was told they wouldn’t deliver too me again !!!!!! I wouldn’t order from here again so I won’t require their delivery service!!!!!

We had a takeaway from here while on holiday at Shorefield recently November 2018) and used the online ordering service which was quick and easy to use.The food which was ready for collection in the estimated time given on completion of the order was very tasty and they do one of my favourites the Naga Curry.We look foreward to having another meal from here when on holiday next year.

Nice selection of starters, onion bhajee, shish kebab. Meat , chicken, veg, and prawn curry. Popadoms and salad. Two rices. Plus a naan bread.Couldn’t eat it all. The meat was tender and in large pieces.Very tasty however I would like a little more heat in at least one of the curries .

First visit here since moving to the area a few months ago and can highly recommend. The service was efficient but not rushed and the food was excellent. Friendly owners who made the evening for us! Love the decor too.

We got a takeaway from here at the weekend. The flavour of the sauce was really good but there wasnt much in it. I had vegetable masala and it contained 4 bits of potato, about 6 French beans and 6 peas and the smallest slice of mushroom (yes that's correct 1 slice found). Really poor. Why is there so much red food colour in the food? Red coconut in the nan, red yogurt, red onion bhaji. So easy to improve.

Excellent cuisine, proffesional and friendly service, very affordable price, nice and very clean environment. We enjoyed dinner amd whole evening.

Holidaying on a nearby campsite, Rokali's came up as being able to deliver to us. Sure enough, in perfect time our delicious food arrived with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend this restaurant!
