An absolutely stunning meal. We ordered takeaway and they delivered to our campsite… amazing service! And the delivery driver was really friendly. I must say this was the tastiest curry I have ever eaten!!

Exquisite food. delivered by knowing gentlemen. I wish I had the time to extend my glad heart to all that know these roving heroes. But alas, I do not. Only know this: When it comes to making a holy chicken tikka masala... These guys are second to none in the local vicinity. Perfect nan, with awesome sauce, delivered by kind, knowing men. Just the sort of thing we need... To survive.

Always been satisfied with the food. Had food delivered on Saturday night.....food arrived cold, tandoori chicken was overcooked and over salted, other dishes were swimming in oil and almost inedible due to the amount of salt. Thoroughly unpleasant meal and was very disappointed as we've always recommended them.

The best Indian we have ever had

Revisiting the Ringwood area after 5 years of moving away we decided we should go and order a Indian take away from our favourite restaurant, Masala. The boys still recognised us after 5 years of absence and I must say it was a fantastic meal. We live now in Devon out side Newton Abbot. NO one makes curries like MASALA.

Not good. I went in to order some food, took a look at the menu all fine, but the door to the kitchen was open which again is all fine, but I saw one of the men in the kitchen preparing what looked to be like chicken drop two pieces onto the ground who then picked it up and put it back with the other chicken to be served. I instantly walked out as that's truly disgusting.

Another delicious take away from our go to Indian take away in Ringwood. Had the butter prawn last week, was sublime. Ordered again this week. The Tarka dhal also a firm fav. Love ordering from these guys. Always delicious and so friendly on the phone. Have never had a bad dish, turns up quickly and loved every dish even when we try something merging different. Highly recommend -10/10 always.

Chicken Korma, Chicken tikka masala… Chicken in both dishes was dry, hard and the sauce gritty and pasty. Both dishes had that look and taste of old yesterdays food re-heated in a microwave. The Sheek Kebab had that look of a doggy dropping that has been left on the pavement in the sun for half a day by a bad inconsiderate dog owner and the smell I won’t mention. Maybe that is the reason for such a fast delivery time (re-heated old food). Very disappointed at the inconsistency of the cooking that I have received since using this restaurant and this will be the last time waste of £40.

DO NOT use this Indian ! Ordered and paid for food which never turned up ! Offered to deliver the next day with no offer of compensation, absolutely shocking customer service !

DO NOT USE !! Ordered a takeaway for delivery and two hours later at midnight they decide to tell me they didn’t receive my order and it was now not going to be delivered as they are closed ! Shocking customer service !

Been coming to this place for many years.Over the last 3x take aways I've had it been awful.I know the boss very well lovely fella but the food is now very very poor.I will never return.

Absolutely delicious food! Ordered a delivery to the campsite we’re staying in…it came quickly, no hassle and we were blown away by how good all the dishes were! As good as our local in Guildford we’ve been going to for 25 years!

when you order a take away and some of it doesn't get delivered your whole meal is a write off.... if when i payed i didn't give them all the money i think they might not serve me again ..... so i will order my take aways from a different curry house nexxt time....

I visited Masala in April 2023. I was staying nearby in Frodingbridge for a couple of nights and fancied some Indian food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered a Paneer Vindaloo, Onion Rice and Vegetable Samosas. All were very nice - the Vindaloo being quite hot (as I like it). My only issue was that it lacked the flavour I was expecting. There was just something missing. Having said that though, it wasn't unpleasant and I did enjoy it. The onion rice was nice and the samosas were tasty too. It was mor expensive than I was expecting - far more than what I was used to, and I live in Outer-London. I think for the price, some complimentary poppadoms and dips would have been nice. Still, a nice meal that hit the spot after a long day of driving!

Had a delivery last night for 11 people. Spot on couldn't fault a single thing. Delivery excellent food was amazing.

A repeat visit, but a wheel has come off this delivery. Order in at 6pm, chased at 7pm, called again at 8pm, took over 2 hours to arrive. Order included the house “King Prawn Railway Special”, just 2 prawns included! All three meals delivered rated average at best. Not good, no apology, not going back, not recommended.

Fantastic food - best curry house in ringwood

We ordered while staying in the area as a large group. I checked Tripadvisor for reviews on the Indian takeaways listed on Ubereats and this place rated the best. It did not disappoint! We had a large order, it arrived slightly late but when it did arrive all the food was piping hot and delicious. Our poppadoms didn’t appear to be shop bought as mentioned in a previous review. Everyone throughly enjoyed their meals. There was no mistakes or missing items which was brilliant as this often happens at our local takeaways on smaller orders! Highly recommend!

My all time favourite Indian takeaway! Always absolutely beautiful, every dish cooked to perfection. We have it when we have guests, and everyone always enjoys everything they order too. We get ours delivered to Fordingbridge and its always lovely and hot when it arrives. Very highly recommend!

Still the best value take away and delivery Curry in Ringwood. It is a shame that the no longer have their restaurant space. Very tasty dishes.

We ordered a delivery, delivered within stated time. Mains and rice were fairly good, chicken slightly chewy. Popadoms the biggest disappointment, we were given supermarket packet popadoms, very disappointed by this, the worst I have ever been given by any India restaurant and was charged £.0.95 each for them. Maybe we should have ordered from Indian Cottage.

Called up with questions last night, had answers very quickly and more info very polite service. Ordered and delivered within half an hour to a difficult location, very nice delivery driver too and the food was the best Indian I’ve had in a couple years. Nailed my chicken pasanda (my local Portsmouth takeaways never quite do) reasonable price, banging dinner and excellent service. Highly recommend and also £1 delivery to my location whilst on holiday was very good too. Love it all!

After a not so great first order back a while, we decided to give it another try. Took well over an hour and was cold when it did finally arrive. The Ceylon was REALLY salty, ruining the whole thing. The mossala Poppadoms arrived in bits and the veg curry was very oily, which was disappointing, and was not very flavourful. The only plus was the nanny bread, which was lovely. I have contacted Masalla about this but no reply and so the 10% incentive for us to return has certainly not worked.

Something terrible happened tonight, my favorite Indian takeaway made "only edible food", normally the curry's are rich in flavor and thick but tonight I was delivered 2 curry's both bland in flavor that seemed to be watered down and drenched in oil, I had to use kitchen roll to soak it up before I could attempt to eat it. Not only that the minimum order for delivery has gone up making me having to order more food than I wanted, I wouldn't of complained about ordering more if the quality was as it use to be but it was truly underwhelming. Writing this review has made me sad.

Whilst in the last 3/4 years that we have had meals delivered I must say that the food, delivery and experience has always been of the highest order and deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have given a lower score due to the fact that when my wife placed our order she was not appraised that a £2.50 delivery charge was being imposed for deliveries outside of Ringwood. The menu flyer still states "Free delivery on all orders". I rang Masala to query the difference in costing for the order and was then informed of the now imposing delivery charge. I was also informed that a new menu is being produced which will show increased food costs as well as a delivery charges.

First visit so first impression....the food was very good and we will most definitely return. Generous portions and very tasty. Love the fact that they have a 5 out of 5 hygiene rating. The young man who took our order was friendly and efficient, he took time to tell us about the changes that they are making to the business. All in all an extremely good experience and I am sure I will be giving a 5 star rating before long.

In all the years I have been coming here for delivery they have never failed, delicious food alongside top class service. Deliveries are always correct and on-time despite living outside of Ringwood. Long may it continue!

Extremely disappointing. The food arrived in good time however half of it was barely warm the other half cold. The madras was given its heat via pepper rather using spices to give that lovely taste, mossala was not creamy and more bitter and sauce was solid. Cooked by someone with no passion or care for their craft. Not the normal standard that we have come to expect.

Waited over an hour. No show so cancelled the order. Won't use again or recommend.

This is an exceptional Indian takeaway. My partner and I enjoy an Indian at least once a week and will fit one in wherever we travel. This was our second Indian this week and if it were not the 200 mile journey it would definitely be our new local! We'll definitely be back when we're next down this way.

I love the food. Sadly paying full price for gradually less and less amounts of it. We ordered a masala sauce tonight and there was definitely less in the container than usual.

Amazing local food, great website and delivery service

We had a takeaway delivered to our holiday site, direct to our door. Everything was excellent, good quality and we would order from here again.

Ordered a Lamb Biriani and Chicken curry this evening. It was the best takeaway for ages, plenty of meat in both and delicious. Plus not full of lumps of onion like some. We will be back.

Really kind staff and efficient with the order. The best Indian I’ve had and it’s the reason I continue to go, really good options for vegetarians as well, the paneer tikka is my favourite. Also good portions and great value for money, highly recommend.

Tried all the restaurants in Ferndown and in desparation went to Massala as although they are in Ringwood they deliver to Ferndown. Have used them 4 times now and hugely impressed with the food which is tasty and spicy but not too hot if you don't want that, delivery arrives at the time you nominate and the staff are very friendy - what more could you ask for !

I would like to give Masala a 5 ++ star review as it is the best in the New Forest/Ringwood area - food always arrives on time and hot. Also there are times when I want to add/omit items to a menu choice which they are always happy to do. Highly recommend

Since returning to Ringwood and with lockdown we have used Masala many times for deliveries. We were so pleased they were open on Christmas Day as this provided a far more interesting and tasty lunch than boring turkey. Lamb Madras is excellent as is Chicken Shashlik.

Used Masala for the first time on Wednesday. What a delight, food was very tasty. I certainly will be using them again.

Holidaying in the area and decided to try here for a curry, was very pleased I did as the food was excellent, rich sauce on my chicken tikka madras, juicy fragrant rice and the tarka dhall was beautifully buttery and full of fresh garlic. Excellent

We collected and they were very busy as you would expect on a Friday, we ordered online. It was a mixed bag, couple of the curries were good but others tasted quite sweet, but I appreciate some people like that.When we got home we noticed one of the curries was missing, they immediately sent it out to us which was good.Compared to other curry houses in Ringwood this one is average as there are better options.

Ordered online and it was fast delivery. Chicken korma with plain rice was yummy. But I didn't like the prawn korma as it didn't go will with prawns so that was a waste of money. Egg fried rice and specail fried rice was spicy. Kids nuggets and Chips are not nice. Garlic and cheese naun was nice if less cheese was used. It was really expensive. I'm sorry to say I won't be using again I'm afraid.

I ordered a takeaway from masala last week and I can’t say any bad words about it, everything was amazing the timing for the delivery was 10minutes early with everything so hot in temperature. The starters was amazing but the main dish was outstanding the chicken was just melting in my mouth how soft it was and the taste overall was phenomenal. I just want to say if you want a takeaway order from masala. Thank you to the masala team for working so hard in this time and every-other time throughout the year.

I have travelled all over india and am used to authentic indian food . This is the best I've found locally. No alcohol licence. Who cares as u are going for food and the place is surrounded by bars anyway. Go on you know you want to! Cheers Q

Great takeaway last night. Tried the chicken tikka, onion bhaji and biryani with extra chilli. Very tasty and good portion sizes.

Pre order our takeaway around 3:00 ask for delivery at 8:00 as they start getting very busy later.They maintain very good timing, food was pipping hot very generous portion. Real Indian flavour food. Being new to the area we were anxious to try a new Indian. We have had many bad experiences of curry's which are full of oil and lacking taste. Masala did not dissapoint. The staff and friendly, accommodating and personal. The food is exceptional. The curry's are rich in flavour, no oil in sight and very plentiful! Portions are brilliant and the food is so tasty and authentic. We have had takeaway 3 times so far and can't wait to eat in soon! Thank you

We recently ordered from Fordingbridge and were seriously impressed with the quality, quantity and value of the food. I had the chicken tikka balti with galic naan. huge portion and deliciously flavored.

I had garlic chilli chicken and sag dall both wonderful. My wife had chicken pasanda and mushroom rice - lovely. Delivered to home on time as promised and with a smile. Absolutely delicious.

Takeaway from Malasa during lockdown, delivered quickly, food was excellent and hot when arrived. Would highly recommend to families during lockdown and going forward into the future! Top stuff!

Very busy obviously being new years eve, so pleased when told only 1 hour to wait for take-away.... till nearly 4 hours later it arrives when my guests had left already... gutted.

We have only recently moved to Ringwood have been very impressed with Masala. The menu Is better than most Indian restaurants, the food is full of flavour and well cooked. What is more the food is always hot - as in temperature that is. The guys in the restaurant are very helpful and friendly. We’ve only had take-away food but can recommend it.

Normally collect from Masala and always lovely. This evening used the on line order system and it worked a treat! You can order and pay before it opens, it was delivered 15 mins earlier than expected. Very nice!

Never eaten in the restaurant but thoroughly recommend the delivery service! Vast choice including items that are quite unusual. Always punctually delivered in 45 minutes after ordering on-line. Quick and easy to order on-line and super food!
