Came for Sunday roast and enjoyed the outdoor garden and the food. Nice setting and friendly staff.

I had an amazing experience at the Roebuck! The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish exceeding our expectations. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a great day out. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic pub experience!

I absolutely love this pub! Great location. Great beer garden what more can you want..oh wait, plus, if you’re gluten free then this place has it covered. The beer (GF IPA ON TAP) , the food, everything. You need to come! Even if you don’t have an allergy. Best gastropub!!! And not forgetting the great staff!!

I have been going here for years but this was the first time since the refurb earlier this year. I booked a table for 6 outside in the courtyard. The courtyard is covered with a retractable roof - great for a British summer- but can get noisy when busy. Service at the table was very good- attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent and very good value with a good selection of wine and beer.

Best in Chiswick. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food options are plenty and the Gluten Free Options are extensive. Good for families, couples, dogs etc. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great location nicely laid out with great receptive service. Food a little bland and unfortunately overpriced. Though must say possibly as portions little bigger than some of the preprepared meals served due to the cost/price ratio over service choice made by higher end chain pub/restaurants nowadays.

It has been a long time since I walked into a reastraunt and didn't have to ask if they had gluten-free options as the majority of the menu is!!! The quality of the food served was exceptional and one of the best gluten-free pies I have ever had. It was presented well, and tastebuds are very happy. The staff were great. The atmosphere, even on a weekday afternoon, was chilled and relaxed; I will definitely be adding the Roebuck to my return to list.

Beer garden was incredible for the euros.

I went in December 2023 Christmas menu! I was surprised at how much it was, but it was delicious!

Love this pub! Such a good vibe and great food. They make a big effort with the beer garden too - it’s even ski chalet themed in the winter!

Great Father’s Day lunch. Excellent food, really nice service - particular shout out to Amy, Izzie and Eliot who made sure we had a great time.

We are frequent guests at the Roebuck and LOVE the pub and the team! We recently hosted our Son's 21st birthday party in the garden with our friend's Daughter who turned 18 and it was AMAZING! We were well looked after from start to finish - by Josh and Elliott as we set-up the for the party, they did their absolute best to ensure the video montage we put together for both the birthday peeps ran smoothly during the evening on the screen in the garden! They were fantastic! We were looked after by Amy and Ava throughout the evening! They were absolutely brilliant, their service was impeccable and they kept checking in with us on budget which we kept extending as we were all having such a good time, brought food at times we asked for and served all our guests - there were over 60 of us! 5 star all the way, attentive, professional, and always with a smile! We can't thank the team enough for making our party so special and exceeding our expectations on all accounts! Thank you to the chefs too, the nibbles were delicious and pizzas awesome! Thank you!

Had a meal here a few weeks ago. Modern pub with a restaurant at the back. Had Tim Taylor’s landlord which is always a plus. The burger was nice but the cheese was very potent and smelly which was a bit much and dominated the whole meal. Even my Dad commented on the smell. Nice place but wouldn’t obviously have the burger.

Had a lovely Sunday roast on Father’s Day. Generally we don’t leave any pub or restaurant (even high end ones) being 100% satisfied as we cook REALLY good roasts at home. But this was an exception. Yorkshires and roasties still not quite as good as at home but everything else especially the meat was gorgeous. Service was also very very good for what was a busy Father’s Day. It wasn’t cheap but not ridiculous considering the location.

Great pub, great food. I took my son there for dinner this evening and we were served by a new chap (Lonny? - apologies if I’ve not got the name quite right) who couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

I really don't know what to say. There's was a delay with the pizza and they came to apologise, they then offered a complimentary drink while we were waiting. In the end they removed the pizzas from the bill!!! Because if the delay! And we didn't even say a word, we didn't complain! Amazing! I haven't seen this good customer service in London for years! I used to go to this place more often in the past and loved everything about it. Tonight I took my fiend there and the food was great,unlike the service we received. The waitress did not pay much attention to us, even this place was not busy at all. We had our meal, some coffee and we were chatting as the other friend joined us and had some food. The waitress approached us asking if we wanted anything else or we want the bill. I was shocked with this attitude. If I want the bill, I will ask for it. The place was nearly empty so the table was not needed. Basically she was saying to get lost if we are not ordering anything else. As I was looking at her in a shock, my friend said yes for the bill. It seemed we had to pay and go. She brought it and put in front of my friend, on the other side of the table. How did she presume she would be paying, I wonder. I paid the bill but I was very disappointed with the service tonight. There is something aggressive about her approach and she should be trained to be more polite and respectful. I wanted my friend to have a nice experience, but we were all shocked with her approach. Food, very good. Customer service, no.

Nice Chiswick pub. Toilets were really filthy no soap or loo roll so dropped it to 4 star.

Everything was “adequate” but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Would I go back? No.

The Roebuck is at 5 minutes from Turnham Green station (Piccadilly and District lines). Really nice atmosphere and interiors, with a quite big garden as well. Excellent service. Unfortunately our expectations on the Sunday Roast were a big higher (my partner roast was a big chewy) but after all is a full 4 out of 5 star. Really good the Toffee Sticky Pudding. We spent £87.5 for 2 Sunday Mix Roast (beef and porchetta with all the trimmings), 2 glasses of red wine and 1 shared desert.

Couldn't get what I wanted because they had run out of stock They could have gone next door to sainsbury's and made a purchase within 5 minutes Then a replacement was offered but never arrived !! Had to go back to the bar and remind them And my item was getting cold 🥶 by now

We just went for Mother’s Day to the Roebuck in Chiswick. Great food obviously with the roast but they also offer other meal alternatives like Linguine with Devon crab which was delicious and served very hot. Importantly the service was 5 star for that day with the manager superb and the waitresses offering Sterling service and the pub was full with a great ambiance

Elliot was our server on our visit to the Roebuck, he gave us a lovely warm welcome. He was very attentive & helpful, his professionalism really made our evening, thank you Elliot. Our friends who were with us were on a small holiday, they also want to say how impressed they were with the service, the excellent food & overall ambiance of the Roebuck.

Nice enough pub with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. We ordered the 4 side plates for £28 and I have to say the portion sizes were pretty poor. Buffalo wings were very tasty as was the squid but if I'd paid £7.50 for these as they cost outside of the offer id have been very disappointed. They simply aren't big enough portions in comparison to other pubs. To be expected the pardon peppers was a decent serving but the biggest let down and quite frankly a rip off was the 7 tiny chipolata sausage which suggested on the menu they came with bacon and they didn't. The fact any establishment thinks they can charge a pound each for an inch and a half sausage is baffling especially when they weren't very good. Not value for money at all so avoid those is my advice. The main menu items we saw coming out of the kitchen looked good so will be back to try some of these but as first impressions go this wasn't great especially as with drinks we spent £100 on a lunch

Had my Xmas work party there. The pub was empty at 1st. 5 staff behind the bar. Really slow service. They do not see if anyone was served or not. Asked the price of a bottle of proseco, it was given the price of £36.50. Then, after they told.me.it was £38 for the bottle. I paid for it as it was a party. Then, after order another bottle, they charged me £36.50. I did mention why I was charged more before. Was it stock market price change. The manager rudly replied not to be like that. Instead of appologies, he just stated refund the difference. But few staff of.my company got overcharged as well only on beer from £6 to £8. I'm wondering if the place overcharge everyone when they want good time in the pub. It's really bad service. Ordered 8oz steak as well. Did tell the waitress that is not as well as half of the steak was fat, no meat. Again, they ignored.

We had xmas dinner i could not believe it was done on the bar counter never seen this before and food was microwaved was not fresh at all for 95 pounds was very dissapointed im going to look into whty it wasnt done in the kitchen was not worth the money

Amazing Food!! 5* Friendly Service 😎👌 This is our 2nd time to the Roebuck for Sunday lunch and it was as good as the first. I’d go as far to say one of the nicest Sunday lunches ever … and I’m 50 and eaten a fair few!! … really delicious and maaaassive portions!! Also they offer their Sunday roasts and other menu with mainly gluten free ingredients which means you don’t lose half your plate if asking for a gluten free option. I was able to enjoy the gravy, sausage, stuffing etc and for non gluten diners you wouldn’t notice the difference - everything tastes spot on! What’s equally as good as the food is the excellent service. All the staff are super friendly and will check in to see everything’s okay and come round and offer extra gravy and spuds. They really look after you and just a really nice team. Special thanks to Elliot and Chad!! Good decor and layout inside the pub which is in a good location right on Chiswick high st. Playing some classic 80-90s rock and pop in the background… so win win all round!! Leaving very happy … and extremely full 🤤😋😃👍👍

Fantastic Sunday roast. The staff went above and beyond and made us feel super welcome. Food was on point, particularly the porchetta in the mixed roast

Wonderful all round bar and dining experience, welcomed in by a cosy bar area with a mixture of high and low tables as well as plenty of standing space at the bar. The dining room is perfect environment for a meal with friends or couples with table service from the friendly staff to make sure you can just relax and enjoy the experience. We was shocked to see courtyard garden fully covered and heated with its own outdoor bar and pizza kitchen this has to be one of Chiswicks best kept secrets. The menu is a mixture of pub classics, fantastic nibbles and some great seasonal specials such as pigeon and venison, no menu on the high street can compete. A great array of quality lagers and craft beers from the bar along with cocktails and some high quality reasonably priced wines. Defiantly one to check out, a special place at the heart of the high street

The food was so tasty! We were able to get celiac safe (<20ppm gluten) gluten free food there which was exciting, and the gluten free fish and chips was incredible! You’d never know it was gluten free. Loved the atmosphere, too - very cozy.

We had a really disappointing evening last night here. On arrival the staff looked harassed and over stretched. Customers were frustrated trying to get their attention. The food was very mediocre - I had a dry and stodgy lentil pasta dish. I left most of it but after waiting for our dishes to be cleared for ages the waitress finally removed them with no interest or comment. They need a lot more staff and to rethink some of their dishes. On previous visits this place was much better and its a great location so it was very disappointing

I've been going to this pub since 2010, and it has consistently been my top choice for business meetings. The combination of delectable food and outstanding desserts has elevated the overall experience. In fact, some of my most successful business discussions have taken place right here.

Popped in here for a quick afternoon drink. It was a sunny day so we sat in the garden. Very well kept, clean pub with nice staff. The beer garden is mostly under cover which is good as it was too sunny to sit out. I just had a vodka and cranberry but they serve different cocktails. I've eaten here before and it was good, the meze platter. We didn't eat this time but the menu looked good so we'll be back. The garden gets busy in the summer but the inside is huge and they have an extensive menu.

On a sunny day, I don't think any other Chriswick pubs would beat it for food, location, beer selection and pizza choices. One of our favourites when in town and a nice kids experience as well

Went for a roast on Bank Holiday Monday with my fiancée, the service from the staff was welcoming, professional and friendly. The food was delicious and we’ll definitely be returning. The only fault was a mosquito bit my face, but that’s on them.

Great staff, good food and excellent range of food, lovely ambience. Great garden too. Last visit had one roast, one pizza, 2 starters & 2 sides between 4 of us - all cooked brilliantly & food came quickly. Have also popped in for just drinks & chips. Staff always very friendly & helpful.

Morden style pub, with good seating areas, and they have few TV screens playing the football, so that's always a good look. Check it out if you're in the area!

Nice pub with an outdoor seating area. I wouldn't quite call it a garden as it's all paved, but it's mostly covered to provide shade and rain cover. Pizzas are served from the outside oven as well as the usual pub grub available from the kitchen.

Came for dinner on Sunday whilst staying in the area. From start to finish this place was fantastic! Top quality service, exceptional Sunday lunch and beautiful beer garden area! We will definitely come back again and this place will be worth the 2hr drive from home ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We popped in on a busy Sunday (fathers day) with out a reservation and the team kindly found us a table for 2 in the garden area. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Food was great and the drinks were very cold on a hot summers day. Will be returning!

Charged service for a bar-ordered meal and drink. The meal was already £27, so to add 12.5% is pretty cheeky. I didn't want to complain before food was prepared, I'll simply avoid in the future. What a shame.

Nice relaxed pub with good atmosphere. Fairly decent range of beers and good menu, if a little pricey. Went back for lunch and had chicken Milanese. It was OK but a little undercooked. It also took a while to arrive even though there were only three people in the pub. Chiswick Calendar card gave 20% discount which was more reasonable.

Excellent food in the heart of Chiswick - the roasts are to die for (and portions huge!). There is a kids menu and it's dog friendly. A few tables out front which are great for people watching but also a large outside area at the back, most of which is covered. Staff are very friendly and the toilets clean. All in all a place I always return to when in the area.

Nice, airy and pleasant staff. Parking bays on the street at Chiswick prices but no problems finding a spot but I was there before 5pm. Decent beer garden at back with space. Would visit again for sure.

The Roebuck is a lovely pub, ticks all the boxes you expect for Chiswick, stylish, understated and clean - friendly, hardworking staff - kitchen is a proper restaurant kitchen and not just heating stuff up, so foods delicious. Would have given the place 5stars but it was a bit short on veggie options, but still had a delicious pie :) - nice guys, they deserve a shot at your business.

Great venue. We loved the mussels and the lamb. A special mentions goes to the staff, very helpful and attentive. The restaurant area towards the garden is more quite than the 'pub' area but in both there is a nice vibe. Good value for money as it is a gastropub. Recommended!

I popped in today with my family to have a roast dinner, and I was served by a short blonde girl who had absolutely amazing service always attentive to my table and had such a beautiful persona , and I wanted to give a Verry big thank you to all the staff and team on shift myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed, and we will definitely be coming back !

Great selection of beers, staff quick to serve. However this was a Thursday night so could be a different experience other times of the week. Would still recommend and return as such a great pub in a busy high street!

We wanted the steak sandwich for lunch and we were told they ran out. Hardly anyone there. Menu quite expensive so we opted for the fondue at £19.50 which we thought was for 2 people. Turned out it was £19.50 per person. Outrageous to pay £39 for a bit of cheese and awful stale white bread.

We arrived early evening , atmosphere loud and a bit lairy.. 3 deep at the bar .. bar staff not paying attention to who was next to be served.. dirty glasses collected on end of bar and kitchen servery… cask ale warm .. helpful bar staff when finally served. Food was mostly bland, seemed to be problem with stock as ran out of the wine we chose and no Aperol. Food service was good though and the garden area is pleasant. Overall disappointing.

Lovely staff. Very helpful and informative. Super busy period and had sold out most of the menu when we arrived but they compensated and made our experience memorable. Super kind and generous! Would definitely recommend to anyone! And will go back soon, excellent food and service.

Invited to meet friends at the Roebuck in Chiswick. Nice busy atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Prices appeared over the top for what was delivered. The 10 oz steak - £30. One was tough enough to be returned. The burger was not fully eaten as it was not cooked ‘well-done’, as requested. The Tartiflette with salad verte - was like a bowl of boiled potatoes with a cheese sauce. You had to hunt hard to find the bacon within. One white wine was priced at £16 a glass - possible to buy a bottle elsewhere for around the same price. Are these due to price hikes/Christmas? Thank you but will not be returning.

I have been to the Roebuck on numerous occasions, recommended it to my parents who went for a Sunday roast yesterday. They said that the food was pretty much chucked in the plate and tepid not hot not something I would expect from this establishment. The two members of staff that were spoken to about it apologised but didn’t offer to change the food..waste of money and won’t be returning

We visited primarily because we needed somewhere to eat lunch whilst we waited to collect our parents from a boat trip. This was a last minute booking, and therefore not based on a personal recommendation. However, what a fantastic find. SEATING: Firstly, there is such a wide variety of seating both inside and out. The pub has a really airy feel to it. As it was sunny we chose to sit outside at the rear of the building in an area that was styled to resemble a beach shack. Throws, cushions, tables of varying sizes. Some in the shade, some in the sun. Dog friendly. Something for everyone. Clientele is varied; young to old, couples to families and groups of friends. STAFF: The pub is run by a young, vibrant team. Everyone we encountered from front of house to rear of house was warm, welcoming and friendly. I particularly warmed to ‘Minnie’ who was so lovely, very customer focused and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. She gave some excellent recommendations! My husband was really impressed at how the gentleman who brought people from the bar to their seats in the beach shack area ran such a quick, slick operation whilst trying to accommodate various customer seating whims (too Sunny, not sunny enough etc!) FOOD: Oh goodness the food was DIVINE. I had the Potted trout to start. My mouth is watering just thinking about it! It was delicious, with a little kick to it. My husband had the Scotch egg and really enjoyed it. For mains we both opted for the Pork & Beef roast. Again, delicious. I’ve posted a Photo of the size of it! Beautiful crisp Yorkshire pudding, tender meat, tasty crackling on the pork, wide variety of veggies and the BEST bit, we were offered MORE GRAVY!! This is such rarity when eating a roast in a restaurant! The gravy was really rich and flavoursome. OVERALL: I would highly recommend this lovely Pub. Great staff, delicious food, clean, comfortable surroundings and good value for money. Thank you, Team Roebuck, for a lovely flying visit. I think we’ll be back!

I was sitting at a table near the bar and was told by the manager that it was a “staff table” and that I should vacate it. The main part of the pub was empty. His officious manner astounded me. I call it The Inhospitality Industry.

First visit for me at Roebuck - this dog friendly pub. Greeted with a nice spacious lounge with a mixture of tables and soft furnishing. Nice ambience, clean and tidy. Staff were very attentive and polite - when ordering the drinks and food. Niall was a standout member of staff- friendly and super helpful. He helped us move a table in the garden closer to the outdoor heaters and also brought water for my friend's dog - so sweet. The pizza was great value and the portions were giant size. Being a clumsy clot I spilt my glass of beer on the table - the kind folk at Roebuck kindly replaced it Free of charge - nice touch! Highly recommend this place for the service and cool people working here.
