Fantastic food! Great if you are gluten free!

One of my favourite locals. Its a great place to grab a bite or have a few drinks. Friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Very lively , decent pub , very clean and staff are very well trained too, very professional , unusual for a pub. Nice location, really close to a station.

We had a cheese fondue, it was a total disaster. It was not really melted and flooded in white wine.

The one thing you might like to change is when serve Affogato the ice cream put in coffee cup so when you pour the expresso over and eaten the ice cream you can drink remanding coffee out cup not coup .

Beautiful pub interior with some fun prints and a very good outdoor space.

I’ve been told multiple times by the staff that the food here is gluten-free, and I made sure to double-check to ensure it would be safe for me. Unfortunately, after eating, I ended up feeling extremely sick. It’s clear that this is not a safe place for those with celiac disease, despite the assurances. I would advise caution if you have gluten intolerance or celiac disease. Very disappointed and upset with how this was handled.

Es la primera vez en este pub y siendo local, esta es una de las mejores en las que he estado. Prueba el asado por primera vez y no solo tienen opciones veganas, sino que también es sin gluten y puedes obtener pudines Yorkshire sin gluten. Ya no tenían las opciones veganas, pero aun así lograron que funcionara con hamburguesas veganas y todos los adornos asados (gracias de nuevo, realmente quería un asado 🥲). Fuimos para el asado del domingo con amigos y fue delicioso tan bueno uno de los mejores en Chiswick que se puede ir para y además los miembros del equipo fue tan amable y fue más de una milla con su servicio. Definitivamente volveré, ya que también tienen un lindo espacio al aire libre para el verano 🌞

Went to the Roebuck for mother in-laws Birthday and Sunday lunch and wow what a meal. Table had pretty much all the different roasts barring the vegetarian and all were bang on meat was erectly cooked tender and moist with some beauty yorkies. The staff are super friendly and the place was filled with kids and dogs, so the atmosphere was really nice and friendly which ment didn't have to worry about my baby disturbing anyone. Must say a special thank you to Elliot and Josh who made the day so special. Will definitely be back

Came down on Saturday evening with the family to the pub it was bustling with rugby fans and nice and cosy inside. Spoke to a very friendly and helpful manager named Elliott at the bar who found us a table in the lovely dining area. We were served by a nice young lady called Hannah at the table who was helpful with menu suggestions and quick to serve us and later was helped by a nice waiter called Mattia. The food was fantastic we had the cheese fondue which was delicious, a great fish and chips and a spicy Nduga pizza. Was really very surprised at how reasonably priced everything was considering the standard of the incredible service will certainly be back soon.

Excellent meal, good selection and terrific service from Hannah and the barman Elliot. Nothing was too much trouble and a thoroughly enjoyable evening, smiles all around. What a hard working crew at the Roebuck. Happy to recommend. Well deserved rewards for all concerned.

Such a great place! I went there for a lunch with friends, the food was absolutely delicious (steak, burger, and a... tartiflette - not an easy one to find in London 🗻), and the service was great. We really enjoyed our time ☺️ ! I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

Best Sunday roast in Chiswick! Had a fantastic experience here, the team were warm and friendly and were extra accomodating making sure we even had space for our pram and then provided a high chair once the little one woke up for lunch! Sunday roast pork was unreal, hubby had fish and chips which he said was also delicious! Will definitely be coming back for another meal. Big thanks to the amazing team! Despite having a full house they made sure everyone was well taken care of, a real touch in the hospitality world these days! Thank you!

Only came for a beer and was not disappointed. Good atmosphere, very comfortable leather wing back chairs, dog friendly and a great pint of Bitter. Stop by for a pint and a chat with friends.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast here. The service was excellent, the food was lovely and served up really quickly. Also a very good selection of drinks. We're very rarely in that part of the country but will definitely go again when we are near there.

Great garden, really good atmosphere

The food and service were both good. The only thing we found uncomfortable is how noisy it was. My ears were ringing when we left the pub. The organisation of the music for dancing was disappointing as it was late setting up and could not be heard

Had a fantastic Christmas lunch here yesterday. I always try the nut roast wherever I go whenever it's available in a bid to find the best one - and the one the Rosebuckdoes has pretty much taken the top spot! Staff were as fantastic as the food. Highly recommend.

I don't normally write reviews but just wanted to compliment this amazing pub. After travelling up from Bristol at the last minute to meet our daughter we walked in expecting to be turned away on a busy Sunday we were greeted so positively and shown to a free fire side table. The manager and waiting staff were so helpful, polite and knowable, food was great and the large pub still had a cosy feel. Thanks for contributing to a successful family met up. We will return.

I attended my Christmas work party at this pub, and it started off empty. Despite having five staff members behind the bar, the service was really slow, and they didn’t seem to notice who had been served. I asked for the price of a bottle of prosecco and was initially told £36.50. However, when I went to pay, they charged me £38. Since it was a party, I paid for it, but when I ordered another bottle later, they charged me £36.50. I pointed out the previous overcharge, jokingly asking if the price changed like the stock market. Instead of apologizing, the manager rudely told me not to be like that and simply offered to refund the difference. Several of my colleagues also got overcharged, particularly on beer, with prices fluctuating from £6 to £8. I'm starting to wonder if they overcharge everyone who’s there to have a good time. The service was awful. I also ordered an 8oz steak, but half of it was fat, and when I mentioned this to the waitress, they just ignored me. Since then, I’ve had no follow-up call or refund from the establishment.

Lovely Sunday Roast and brilliant Bloody Mary's

Came to the roebuck on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The service was attentive and friendly. Food came in under 15 minutes and was exceptional. Overall no complains, very pleasant experience. Will be coming back.

Best calamari starter I've ever had and spicy cauliflower SO good. Free fizzy carafes of water was surprise bonus and all the staff were delightful and attentive. Highly recommend and will be returning. Yum yum! 😋

This is quite great pub with good food and an excellent wine list. The menu changes regularly but is always excellent and well priced. Staff are always attentive and great at their job

Outstanding - the best gastro pub for miles. The food and the service are superb - we came for a Sunday roast but also had the crab linguine. Elliot and the team were so attentive and friendly. We felt really looked after - they even created a special cauliflower cheese for us!

Stater: potatoe & Leek soup with sour dough bread , Main : Roast Beef with all the trimming's , Dessert : Apple & Blackberry crumble accompanied by a bottle of House Red wine .

I recently visited this pub and was absolutely delighted! A cozy atmosphere, as if you are in another era - soft light, wooden tables and soulful music create a truly relaxing atmosphere. The menu pleasantly surprised us with its variety: an excellent selection of beer for every taste, from classic varieties to unusual craft options. The food served here is surprisingly tasty - I especially liked the signature appetizers and juicy burgers. The service is excellent: the waiters are friendly, attentive and quickly respond to requests. This place is great for get-togethers with friends and cozy evenings alone. I will definitely come back here again!

I went to the Roebuck with a large group of family visiting from the US. The place was quite busy for a Wednesday night so the vibe was energetic & fun. We had a super nice meal. Some ate fish, others' duck and others burgers. Everyone reported the food being delicious. My cousin who had the duck said it was her best meal in London. High Praise. The staff could not do enough for us - fast and smiley. I highly recommend the Roebuck for any occassion.

A wonderful experience all round, a welcome like no other from manager hosting dining area, straight to our table for free filtered water (never experienced this before in London), service was great drinks and food arrived promptly after ordering and boy was it good, roasts were to die for with the options of additional cauli cheese and pigs in blankets (who doesn’t love pork wrapped in pork), can’t wait to come back, can’t argue with a bottle of house wine at 25.50 in London nowadays especially with the quality of this indigenous Spanish drop. 100% recommend, thank to Josh and his team a bunch of super stars, a must must must if you’re in west London

I absolutely love this pub! Great location. Great beer garden what more can you want..oh wait, plus, if you’re gluten free then this place has it covered. The beer (GF IPA ON TAP) , the food, everything. You need to come! Even if you don’t have an allergy. Best gastropub!!! And not forgetting the great staff!!

I have been going here for years but this was the first time since the refurb earlier this year. I booked a table for 6 outside in the courtyard. The courtyard is covered with a retractable roof - great for a British summer- but can get noisy when busy. Service at the table was very good- attentive without being overbearing. The food was excellent and very good value with a good selection of wine and beer.

Best in Chiswick. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food options are plenty and the Gluten Free Options are extensive. Good for families, couples, dogs etc. HIGHLY recommend!!

Great location nicely laid out with great receptive service. Food a little bland and unfortunately overpriced. Though must say possibly as portions little bigger than some of the preprepared meals served due to the cost/price ratio over service choice made by higher end chain pub/restaurants nowadays.

It has been a long time since I walked into a reastraunt and didn't have to ask if they had gluten-free options as the majority of the menu is!!! The quality of the food served was exceptional and one of the best gluten-free pies I have ever had. It was presented well, and tastebuds are very happy. The staff were great. The atmosphere, even on a weekday afternoon, was chilled and relaxed; I will definitely be adding the Roebuck to my return to list.

Love this pub! Such a good vibe and great food. They make a big effort with the beer garden too - it’s even ski chalet themed in the winter!

Great Father’s Day lunch. Excellent food, really nice service - particular shout out to Amy, Izzie and Eliot who made sure we had a great time.

We are frequent guests at the Roebuck and LOVE the pub and the team! We recently hosted our Son's 21st birthday party in the garden with our friend's Daughter who turned 18 and it was AMAZING! We were well looked after from start to finish - by Josh and Elliott as we set-up the for the party, they did their absolute best to ensure the video montage we put together for both the birthday peeps ran smoothly during the evening on the screen in the garden! They were fantastic! We were looked after by Amy and Ava throughout the evening! They were absolutely brilliant, their service was impeccable and they kept checking in with us on budget which we kept extending as we were all having such a good time, brought food at times we asked for and served all our guests - there were over 60 of us! 5 star all the way, attentive, professional, and always with a smile! We can't thank the team enough for making our party so special and exceeding our expectations on all accounts! Thank you to the chefs too, the nibbles were delicious and pizzas awesome! Thank you!

Had a meal here a few weeks ago. Modern pub with a restaurant at the back. Had Tim Taylor’s landlord which is always a plus. The burger was nice but the cheese was very potent and smelly which was a bit much and dominated the whole meal. Even my Dad commented on the smell. Nice place but wouldn’t obviously have the burger.

Had a lovely Sunday roast on Father’s Day. Generally we don’t leave any pub or restaurant (even high end ones) being 100% satisfied as we cook REALLY good roasts at home. But this was an exception. Yorkshires and roasties still not quite as good as at home but everything else especially the meat was gorgeous. Service was also very very good for what was a busy Father’s Day. It wasn’t cheap but not ridiculous considering the location.

Great pub, great food. I took my son there for dinner this evening and we were served by a new chap (Lonny? - apologies if I’ve not got the name quite right) who couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

I really don't know what to say. There's was a delay with the pizza and they came to apologise, they then offered a complimentary drink while we were waiting. In the end they removed the pizzas from the bill!!! Because if the delay! And we didn't even say a word, we didn't complain! Amazing! I haven't seen this good customer service in London for years! Well done and thanks!

I used to go to this place more often in the past and loved everything about it. Tonight I took my fiend there and the food was great,unlike the service we received. The waitress did not pay much attention to us, even this place was not busy at all. We had our meal, some coffee and we were chatting as the other friend joined us and had some food. The waitress approached us asking if we wanted anything else or we want the bill. I was shocked with this attitude. If I want the bill, I will ask for it. The place was nearly empty so the table was not needed. Basically she was saying to get lost if we are not ordering anything else. As I was looking at her in a shock, my friend said yes for the bill. It seemed we had to pay and go. She brought it and put in front of my friend, on the other side of the table. How did she presume she would be paying, I wonder. I paid the bill but I was very disappointed with the service tonight. There is something aggressive about her approach and she should be trained to be more polite and respectful. I wanted my friend to have a nice experience, but we were all shocked with her approach. Food, very good. Customer service, no.

Nice Chiswick pub. Toilets were really filthy no soap or loo roll so dropped it to 4 star.

Everything was “adequate” but nothing really stood out as exceptional. Would I go back? No.

The Roebuck is at 5 minutes from Turnham Green station (Piccadilly and District lines). Really nice atmosphere and interiors, with a quite big garden as well. Excellent service. Unfortunately our expectations on the Sunday Roast were a big higher (my partner roast was a big chewy) but after all is a full 4 out of 5 star. Really good the Toffee Sticky Pudding. We spent £87.5 for 2 Sunday Mix Roast (beef and porchetta with all the trimmings), 2 glasses of red wine and 1 shared desert.
