Great coffee and service. A strong performance. Gets a bit busy in the mornings considering the location but otherwise a good place for a coffee.

The Roastery is lovely for a take-away coffee or food. I often stop by and have tried a decent amount on the menu. I'd recommend the chai latte or the iced chai latte in the summer. The service can be slow and the staff are not always welcoming. But they do a great coffee!

The food choices at The Roastery are absolutely delicious! I tried a panini on my last visit and it was perfectly toasted with a generous amount of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavours were spot-on and you could tell it was made with care. It’s the perfect choice for a quick, satisfying bite. The staff are also super friendly and make the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back for another panini soon—highly recommend. My accompanying coffee frappe was absolutely awesome and bursting with a strong flavour - a 100% Arabica blend. I prefer these independent artisan cafes rather than the chain brands.

I've been to this place a couple of times and initially overlooked the lacklustre service (miserable staff who barely engage with customers and chat among themselves instead) because the cakes and coffee were good. But the second time I visited, I asked for a takeaway Americano, which tasted disgusting and completely different to the one I had one my first visit. It had clearly been made using instant/freeze dried coffee, which isn't acceptable given the £4 price tag.

We went there to have some coffee and relax, but the experience was far from enjoyable. The lady serving us seemed extremely upset and didn’t smile once—I honestly felt like she’d never smiled in her life. Anyway, we had our coffee, but it tasted awful. We were tired and just sitting there when they closed the tent, and then the same lady came and took our table away without saying a word. It felt really unwelcoming. If she had told us it was take-away only, we wouldn’t have ordered. So disappointing. Never again.

Today we stopped by for a coffee before getting the train just next to this coffee shop. The barista lady started grumbling when we ordered frappe (I think she was done with cleaning). We would understand if she said they are closing soon and we wouldn't order at all. Then we received really disgusting coffee that was prepared in hurry. (My flat white was literally cold). On the top of that, the same lady who made the disgusting coffee came outside to kick us out! There was another gentlemen, apparently he was sitting there for longer time. than we did But the barista lady wanted to make pressure on us who just sat 2 minutes ago. Please next time inform your customers that you are closing soon and premises need to be emptied at 17:00. Instead of selling coffee and kicking them out in three minutes. In that case, we would have the grace of not buying any coffee at 16:57. I suggest that lady to do something she likes to do in her life. Obviously she is not good at customer service & making coffee.

Nice coffee shop, all great the ugly thing is they put sharp nails upwards on their beautiful flowers pots, not for birds and pigeons but for people who are standing on the bus stop Infront, not to lean or try to sit while waiting for the bus. By mistake somebody can try to lean on the pots and cut himself, they didn't think even for the safety Not beautiful strategy from the shop owner at all

The food is good, but the blasting music kills the vibe, making it impossible to chill. And when you ask them to turn it down, they act like you're the only one bothered. Definitely not the spot for a laid-back coffee sesh. Such a shame. The music is like a night club. You can listen to a podcast or something else. I like music, but does not need to be that loud.

We came here for lunch. My father is in a wheelchair and it was difficult to get in over the step. The whole cafe is not very accessible. My daughter ordered eggs benedict but was told they were out of poached eggs. We all had a fry up, which had eggs on ,so I didn't really understand how they couldn't have poached an egg. The food was very nice ,if a little expensive. Sadly the difficulty with the wheelchair means we probably wouldn't go there again though

Not impressed at all. Came in to order a take-in coffee but was stood waiting at the kiosk even though there were staff available to serve. Even when they did, no pleasant greeting, stern face. Placed my order, asked for vanilla syrup - "no we don't have any" was the response. So I just thought, oh it's not that kind of coffee shop and ordered a regular drink, to then only look to my side and see a full selection of other syrups on offer. I mean, you could've told me that. As the transaction was being processed, I asked about wifi so I could do some work whilst enjoying my coffee. The response? "No we don't have wifi". Well I'm sure you do, you just don't want people using it. what coffee shop doesn't let you use wifi? At that point I was late for my meeting and would need to go elsewhere to make my call, but the coffee was still being made and I had to leave without it.... I did go back and claim it later, but I didn't really want it by that point! 2 stars though rather than one as the coffee tasted very good :)

The coffee was decent but the food wasn't great unfortunately. Eggs florentine consisted of dry toast - no butter. 2 not very well poached eggs - ie still quite a bit of the white not well cooked. I assume cheap eggs are used because they had no taste. Spinach was just raw, not steamed or wilted. Hollandaise sauce not great either - perhaps made with cream cheese? No seasoning whatsoever. I'd be happy to pass by and get a drink to go but that's about it.

Please do not go. The worst coffee and food I've had in a long time. The coffee is insulting. Eggs Benedict and eggs florentine are served with semi-toasted bread, the sauce on the side, cold poached eggs and either ham or spinach served cold from the package, not cooked.

Lovely coffee place with good cakes/ snacks etc. Location is a bit odd but if you're able to stop on the approaches to/from Kew Bridge you'll be delighted. Despite the odd location it's ideal for football and rugby fans going to Brentford Community Stadium for EPL football (from season 2021/22) and Premiership rugby as London Irish play home games there.. Service is good and there is a decent range of drinks, cakes and snacks. Oh, the staff are friendly but always courteous. Summer season sees an effort in attracting customers as the planters have been upgraded so the appearance of the outside looks much better. Organisation is good as due to the proximity to the football stadium (Brentford Community Stadium) busy days are very busy and the staff cope very well. You can't do that without planning and organisation!!

Surprised at the poor service by the surly lady at the till. The place wasn’t particularly busy but she was quite short with the people in front of us. When our drink was not quite what we expected, she continued the surliness with us (at least she’s consistent!). In the end, we just stuffed our drinks with sugar and moved on rather than make a big deal.

This coffee shop by Kew Bridge Station is excellent. I've been here twice in the past year, both times I've ordered a crepe and a drink. The food tastes good and it's freshly made. The staff are incredibly friendly. There are lots of plugs by all the tables to enable everyone to work. I almost don't want to say nice things about it because I'm scared that everyone will discover it and it will become too crowded! I actually came here for the exact reason that another coffee shop was too crowded and the seating was not arranged well and there weren't enough plugs. This is now my first choice of local coffee shop. The only thing that would make it better is their own Wifi. I highly recommend the roasted vegetables and cheese crepe.

A lovely independent coffee shop acctoss the road from Costa. Coffee nice, good atmosphere, lovely staff. Cakes and pastries seemingly of very high quality, but they leave them stuck out on wooden boxes open to the air, insects, coughs etc. I had what looked like a fantastic slice of carrot cake which was obviously very nice once - but was bone dry by the time I come in and bought it. This way of displaying looks good, and probably is good if you arrive first thing in the morning, but not ideal for keeping them fresh. I'm presuming my cake was not first cut today. Have had a bacon roll here before which was very nice, fresh and a bit fancy, which cost £4.75.
