Lovely venue, food was very tasty, service very friendly.

The plate on the left is a kids burgers and chips. The one on the right is meant to be £18 adult burger and chips. Lots of reasons to suggest why pubs are struggling. This is one example, will spend my money elsewhere in future.

Visited on a Saturday night and it was empty when we walked in. Ordered food and it was the most underwhelming meal I’ve ever had in London, flavourless and poor quality.

Just completed the last leg of the Grand Union Canal from Hanwell. The sun was out, it was 2pm and I supped 2 pints of London Pride in perfect condition, outside on the top deck.. Friendly staff, lovely location. I've just got to get a reason to come back from Welling to revisit this great pub!

I really want to love this place more than it wants me to. Took a couple of friends there as they spotted it and it looks great from Kew Bridge. Having never had a great experience there I suggested another couple of options but they really wanted to go. The place looks great from outside and the decor inside is also cool. Only issue is that somehow there is as much of a vibe inside as there is in a dentist waiting room. It's just a bit flat... Had a fish and chips, veggie burger and chicken burger. The batter on the fish and chips was not great and seriously overcooked meaning the batter had absorbed loads of fat. The fish itself was good quality as were the chips. The veggie burger was ok, the winner was the chicken burger as the bacon jam was excellent. We all had a Guinness but it wasn't great despite costing nearly £7. I will defo go back as this place should be amazing. It has a lot of much better competition. The manager needs to sample them and take note of what needs to be improved. Most Fullers pubs are great, this one misses the mark I'm afraid.

Wish we lived closer because this is such a fantastic bar/restaurant. The background music is at the perfect volume that you can enjoy listening to it whilst enjoying conversations with company. The food is above expectation and everything from start to finish was perfect. Not forgetting the wonderful staff who are very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that your experience here is the best!

I rented this venue unpastairs for my bday party and this was an excellent choice. From delicious food to excellent staff and organisation! Communication before was also brilliant! Mate was really responsive, supportive and accommodating! Me and my guests had the best time!! Thanks so much!!

Good atmosphere and food, love the refurbishment however some of the bar staff particularly the younger man with “bleached” blonde hair constantly has a bad attitude is rude and lacks social skills not quite sure what his problem is. Despite this the waiting staff were lovely and accommodating, food is good and location is great.

Mate suggested we meet up for what used to be an 'early doors' pint at 5pm. It's the newest Fullers pub I've ever visited. Thirst quenching pint of soda & lime, (I had cycled over), we then noticed one of the screens was showing USA vs Pakistan in the T20 World Cup. Watched the thrilling Golden Over denouement. Can recommend the Sweet Potato chips as a snack, before the ride home.

No real view of the river, even from the balcony. My vodka lime and soda was undrinkable (Smirnoff blue and 5 tiny ice cubes) I asked for a short glass so it isn't swamped in soda. But Smirnoff as a house vodka these days isn't so acceptable. I was going to be charged for a single and I corrected the barman. Now I wish I hadn't as I had two sips and left it on the bar.

Considering the pace was quite empty the service was poor.

Great place to watch the planes flying into Heathrow if you’re sad like me. Excellent outdoor space and they stock Siren Lumina on tap - great beer.

Lovely pub to go out with some friends for a night. Good range of food options, accompanied by a great selection of drinks on the bar. Service was fantastic. Would highly recommend for both families and groups of mates alike.

BBQ Platter for 2 . OMG , what an absolute banging sharing platter. The taste of of the food was awesome. The meat literally fell of the ribs and the bbq sauce on the was out of this world. The chicken wings batter is something else (top notch). TBH a worthy try and for me a definite revisit asap.

Food is a bit too expensive for the portion. But the atmosphere and the place are lovely. The staff are really friendly. It's really nice to watch sports events here. I just moved to the area so I'm happy to find this place.

It looked like a great find, but it wasn’t. Walking the Thames path we spotted this pub, which was in a great spot, so we decided to stop for a beer. Inside the pub was empty, there were 4 staff members behind the bar, one who was serving the only other customer in the bar at that time. We waited patiently while the three other bar staff did a wonderful job of looking through us, looking around us and generally managing to avoid acknowledgement of any other form of life at the bar. Having met our maximum ignore time we left and went to another pub down the road.

Bealtiful pub, relax atmosphere, close by the river with a nice view from the top terrace. Good traditional pub food. Good selection of beers on tap, including Guinnes.

Came across this place by accident but a lovely one though. Good beer good wine and excellent food, will go here next time we're in the area.

It was ok but they wouldn't give me a glass for my pint, only a plastic cup ugh. And they wouldn't serve food downstairs in the bar area, so keep that in mind as far as it being something that will kinda make your evening less enjoyable. I won't return.

Beautiful location and easy to get to whether by walking or bus (65 to Kew Bridge). Modern-feel with some mix-'n-match of various elements, all nice on their own but kinda missing like a central, cohesive feel to it. Seating outside is marvelous, with a pool table on the second floor as well. Service was a little impersonal and haphazard but it might just be that they were kinda busy (? although not really). Poor servers had to keep going up and down from first to second floor, though. Tough. Food-wise, lots of great options. Had my first ever Fish and Chips in the UK. Chips were probably up there in the top chips (or fries) I've ever had. Fish batter was good and crisp, but the fish itself I feel could have done with some marinating with herbs and spices but apparently, as I was told, marinating the fish and schzuzing it up a little bit is a bit uncommon in Briton restos and pubs. So I guess if judged by it is what it is, pretty good fish. The sauces were stellar. Great selection of drinks overall. Price not bad for the portions they serve.

We ended up here after walking a section of the Thames Path from Richmond to Kew. Really nice pub - great choice of drinks and great atmosphere. The outside seating area looked great (but sadly it was raining ) - indoors equally good 👍

Was in Kew over the weekend . My wife and I couldnt get tickets for the England game. Stumbled across this place . Lovely sunny spring day . Drinks on the upper terrace outside . Enquired about getting a table for the Rugby . The duty manager was very accommodating and shuffled things round for us . Food was excellent as was the service . Great screens for sport. A great pub with a great atmosphere. Special nod to all the staff . Tables were cleared and cleaned before you could blink . That is very rare these days . Thanks again. Mick and Jan . 🏉

70th Birthday pre match drinks. Reserved small area by screen, very nice

Odd experience. Guinness was ok. Food was decent pub grub. Service was good and friendly. The bar itself looks great, and it does boast a terrace overlooking the river. Toilets were very clean. We watched the first half of a six nations match, but the atmosphere was so absent decided to move on at half time. Pity.

Beautiful venue, came here for a staff party. This was my first and time and the venue is amazing. Big thanks to the team for looking after us. The food was greatly received... a personal 'Thank you' to 'B' who looked after us.

A good pub to watch sports in - there's lots of screens so you are almost guaranteed a good view from any seat. Good selection of beers on tap, and the food is nice if a little expensive.

Worth the 45min walk from home! Friendly staff, amazing beer, good food and a lovely view from the terrace of the Thames. Couldn’t get better thank you for being a gem of the Thames!

A really nice place by the river, great atmosphere

Sports pub with several TVs dotted around so that you can see whatever sport is playing from most tables. Also a great games room upstairs. The food is good pub grub, and everything we had was cooked well. There’s a decent range of beers, and service is friendly.

I asked the barman for a nonalcoholic Seedlip gin. He said, we don’t do seedlip but we do sipsmith. I asked is sip smith 0%? Yes. I repeated: are you sure it is not 0.5%. Yes, it is alcohol free. He took the order and I asked him for the third time, it is 0% you are sure, because I didn’t realise sip smith did 0%. He confirmed with a smirk on his face. I went to order another one, and another barman showed me the bottle which said 0.5% alcohol. When I showed the bottle to the first barman he stood quiet looking at me without an apology. Very disappointing and really inexcusable service! No care for allergies or intolerances at all!

We had our wedding reception here and it was great! The package had more food and wine than we needed, and the food was amazing. They were super accommodating, with letting us set up, looking after our cakes and moving the seating plan around. The location next to the river is lovely and feels off the beaten track, despite being in London. Would highly recommend!

Personal don't fit to the capacity of the pub so expect a bit delay in service(especially if the event on the stadium). Apart of this you can enjoy real atmosphere and spend your time woth friends.

I spent New Years Eve here and it was very fun. The outside seating was gorgeous and I imagine that during the summer it would be a superb location for a drink outside! Really good fish and chips, a good selection of drinks and a pleasant atmosphere!

After walking the Thames Path we always find a spot to eat. Lovely staff, clean toilets, great food.

Great pub by Kew Bridge. We had a couple of meals here. Fish and chips were exceptional.

A bit expensive for Eastern Europeans, but it's still London and on the banks of the Thames.

We had fish and chips, nachos and Greek Mezzo. Every dish was fresh and tasty. Great value for money. I had to leave some, very reluctantly. Thoroughly recommend this relaxing pub diner.

I’m sad to leave this review because the pub itself is so nice, the location is amazing and the bar is really interesting to look at! But oh dear some things need looked at! The service was okay- I understand it’s the festive time and no one really wants to work but it was really off putting how unfriendly the staff were. The Guinness I was given was nearly undrinkable but when we paid nearly 7 pounds for it I drank as much as I could. We then went onto order some food including 8 of the Wings - they were very nice but the person who took the order made the mistake of ordering a kilo instead of the small plate said he ‘wasn’t sure which we ordered’ surly with the price difference of nearly 20 pounds it should be double checked.. and when the food was served, the response to us saying it was the wrong item was ‘well we have takeaway boxes’ - not a great response. We then were charged for the kilo that we didn’t order, putting our bill way over what we had originally wanted to spend. As I said the pub is really cool and the food was great but these things are really off putting and I wouldn’t revisit unfortunately!

We were the only ones in, others did follow. The food was ok, not 5 star but certainly worth some. Toilets clean , floor clean and the bar lads did check on us , making sure all was ok 👍

Nice space inside and good location but the drinks are madly expensive, it was actually quite outrageous. We were here on a Saturday night and it was quite dead, no atmosphere unfortunately. It was also absolutely freezing inside. Sadly not keen to return.

This was my 1st time here and it was a great experience. Met an old friend for a couple of beers & the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered some chicken wings ( they do up to a 1 kg portion!) & some fries and they were delicious. I will definitely remember this pub for the future. Must be amazing during the summer.

We had the pleasure of visiting the pub today for a Sunday roast, and I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience. Amazing service. We were served by Sarah who made us feel very welcome and provided us with everything we needed. We felt very welcome from the moment we walked in. Nothing was too much and the food was amazing!! Fantastic experience! We look forward to visiting again in the future and enjoying more of your delicious Sunday roasts.

A great place for food and drink with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Very family friendly and a definite place to go if you love sport. The pool table and individual sports screens are brilliant! Not the cheapest of places but definitely worth a visit.

Location, ambiance and atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. Vegetarian food choices are not many and not good. Good place to go for drink.

Food is a little pricey for what it delivers but the surroundings are very comfortable

A quiet pub for its location, pool table upstairs, love it here.

We had our baby shower at One Over the Ait and it was a great day. We had over 35 friends and they made us feel very welcome. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks, service and the beautiful Thames view! The staff and manager Jerry were very helpful - I highly recommend this team for your special events!

Where to start? Inattentive staff, overpriced drinks and food? I was waiting for a while at the bar and there were three staff serving and all disappeared before they served me by the time I was the only customer left. No acknowledgment or anything. The beer selection was very uninspiring as has become the case in Fullers pubs these days and overpriced to boot. I did get served eventually. It was a scorching hot day and the ice water was finished when we arrived. When we left the staff were dossing behind the bar doing nothing having still not refilled the water. The food was incredibly expensive. A roast wrap of a Sunday for nearly £20? I should coco. Probably the least favourable pub in the area. Shame they knocked down two perfectly pubs here for this dystopian new development.

Nautical themed pub. Friendly service. We only tried some appetizers, were not disappointed. There is some outdoor seating overlooking River Thames.

The current team are doing very well including dealing with increased trade on match days. Well served by lovely staff with a wide range of drinks. Haven't eaten here lately but would.

I was not impressed with the lack of flexibility around booking a table for a Sunday roast. Moreover, the bartender was not very approachable, which didn't make the experience any better either. Will most probably say pass to this place if it ever ends up on my radar again

First time in this pub and I really liked it. It was mid afternoon, so almost no guests besides us. The food was great, and the staff very friendly. I love the internal decor, upstairs have somewhat separated places for groups. Good river view from the upper teracce.

Good location by the river, good selection of drinks, good for carching up with friends and family or meeting point from your river walk or bike ride. Looking a bit worn on the upper deck side but inside is nice. You can sit on the upper deck and watch the river life and boats or the start of a pub crawl onwards to The Steam Packet and Bell & Crown etc

Booked out the top floor for on Saturday eve for a birthday party. Staff were really friendly and moved all the tables in the space to make it all open plan and constantly had someone at the bar up there to ensure service all evening. The canapés were delicious- portion sizes were great. A perfect setting for a party with lovely views over the Thames from the balcony. Couldn’t recommend it enough! Definitely made it an evening to remember for us!

Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here along with a few pints! Maybe not the best meal we had in London, but our meals “hit the spot” after a long day of sightseeing. We liked the atmosphere and location along the Thames. Service was okay; could have been a bit more attentive.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at One over the Ait,and I must say it was a delightful experience. The staff at the pub were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. A special shout-out to Myles, the manager, who went out of his way to guide us through the menu and help us choose the best options for our taste. The pricing was reasonable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes for the amount we paid. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I highly recommend one over the Ait for its exceptional service, great pricing, and satisfying portion sizes

This is what was delivered to me for £17. The kids meals had more chips on the plate. Spoke to the waiter and asked him to speak / bring the manager. He brought an extra bowl of chips instead. Burger over-cooked and the ‘Gouda’ barely melted. Kids buns not toasted. Disgraceful. It wasn’t busy so no excuses there….
