Lunchtime Thai Special: £10 for Starter & Mains. Cheap as Chips!! It was Horrible!! Then again What can you get for £10 in Chiswick?

Well that was a surprise, delicious Thai food and a good selection of beers Lovely, helpful staff and a homely atmosphere Good stop off, away from the rugby crowd

We were let down by the size of sea bass fillet.. we were expecting a big chunk of fillets (2 fillets) for a £30 mains. What we've got was 2 small fillets (one side) and small heirloom tomatoes and not sure of the green vegetables. It is disappointing for the mains price. The scallops and mussels were very good. The chunky chips helped enjoy the scallops and mussels. Fish --- sad.

I have visited twice now in the last month after visiting the Hospital and have really enjpyed the food. The first time I went I tried the salt and peppar squid and chips which was very reasonably priced. I enjoyed it so much I went back and had the same thing a few weeks later. This was still at good high standard. Staff very nice as well and they have a great Thai menu as well which I may well try next time.

We had the cheng curry (it was the middle choice of 3 different curries on menu and I may have the word cheng incorrect. ) . I am not easily pleased and my partner and I both agreed it was one of the best, most flavorful and well balanced coconut curries we have ever had. The shrimp were high quality and perfectly prepared...moist and fresh. The Pad Thai was well above average. If you like a bitter beer as we do...we recommend the Neck Oil. Very nice service, too.

Staff was very helpful and polite, but the food was surprisingly amazing, some of the best king prawn pad thai noodles i have tasted in a while.... going back soon

The best Thai food I've had in London, feels like I'm back in Bangkok, all the dishes were superb, the taste is ideal, the portions are generous and look phenomenal, the service was excellent too, the waiters were very friendly and attentive, I'll be back soon, my new go-to place for lunch and dinner after work.

Small pub but the food is good (thai). Good range of drinks but could do with another decent TV for sports. Would definitely drink here, has a cosy feel.

Ordered started of fried squid with a green curry to follow, wait 50 minutes to have both served at the same time, to busy with Uber eats take away to bother with customers who dine in! No wonder they had to leave the bridge inn! Will not be back…..

I went once, unfortunately, disappointed... Calamari was awful they should definitely change the oil for the deep fry, then I said OK, seconds chance We had to wait more than 1 hour for some carbonara and for a pizza less than 1 hour and the fries too fried for too long in old oil. Never again in there

Great atmosphere with weekly live music, decent price for a pint here. Food menu is a little bit odd for a pub but otherwise good. Bar staff were wonderful and friendly

Thought we would come here to try the Thai food out. The green curry was disgusting. No balance of flavours. No sweetness or saltiness coming through. Just a bland spice. Completely misses the essence of Thai cuisine. I recommend the chef to actually try the food before serving it to the paying customers. We also had a beef noodle dish. Very tight with the wafer thin slices of beef which wasn’t velveted properly. Very chewy. Also the waitress was very grumpy about giving us soya sauce and chilli sauce. If the food wasn’t so bland we wouldn’t have had to ask? £25 all in. Complete waste of money and poor service. Avoid

Cute pub and restaurant had the muscles and chop suey, chop suey was good. Muscles were okay, but I love the atmosphere.

Got the lunch time deal, I think I’ll be there every week. Food was 10/10, getting the prawn chicken toast is a must.

Modern pub which still manages to retain a traditional pub feel. Is only let down by its rather soulless atmosphere unfortunately. Is very clean and tidy though and offers a decent range of of drinks. Barman was pleasant and gave a lone drinker, who I assumed was a new customer, a loyality card because 'he had bought more than two pints already that evening.' At least that I was I understood from what I overheard but I only had one pint and was not offered the card as an incentive to return. A shame as as I pass here sometimes on way to railway station just up the road. Has Thai food on offer too nowadays but I did not eat.

This was first time we visited this place. We are so glad we did as food was delicious.Excellent service. Definitely will be back.

The best Thai food I've ever had! So tasty, great portion size, super fresh and delicious. So flavourful, will keep coming back for sure. Such friendly staff and so much care goes into these dishes. Thank you!

I did not expect much for the area but it was shocking, empty and stone cold bar staff, it needs updating seeing as new flats are being built, toilets out of the 1940's

The Rising Sun has opened a Thai restaurant which was news to me. But, once trying the cuisine I vowed to return frequently. The lunch menu for about £10 features a starter and main course on one plate. All I can say it was delicious. Had Satay Chicken starter and Pad Thai for a main. And I can't complain...tasty, fresh and hot. Monday there's a special deal of half off a second entree.

It's a very nice local pub, the food smells great.

Staff are very friendly, we went 4 adults and 2 kids for lunch, ordered 5 beers and food for everyone and it cost around 87, not too expensive in my opinion. They also got board games for kids

We visited early Saturday after and the place was dead. Immediately noted the empty display fridges (never a good sign in the pub) Ordering drinks we enquired if they still did pizza for which there was a grinding acknowledgment they did we we ordered two of Sitting outside we awaited the pizza which eventually came at the end of our first drinks, and my friend though the pizza good, but I would not have said the same, being tepid in temperature and a bit chewy / doughy

Went here on a date. Liked it. There was live music which we hadn't anticipated but there was plenty of seating outside that was commodious. May the Sun rise and not set :)

Treat yourself to a pint in the lovely pub

I was really surprised, the meal my family and I had was excellent. My wife and I had the offer on Wednesdays which is two steak meals with a bottle wine. The steak was good, tender and the pepper sauce was delicious. The starters were enjoyable as well as the desserts and it was good value. We definitely will be going back

Standard selection of pints, nothing fancy, but that's okay as well. Sadly the kitchen is very often closed. Instead they serve pizza which is made from a readily available pizza base from a pack, not their own dough. It's not overcrowded so there is usually a spot available. Currently this place is nice for a drink, not really for a meal. Hopefully this changes in time.

A good local pub in Isleworth. The range of beer however is limited but has a beer garden with board games available. The pub lacks vibrancy and a broad range of pub foods. Good to have a pint and for quick meetups. will not recommend for food but for a quick pint.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff

My partner and I have recently just moved to the area and this was one of the first pubs we went into. Super cute, the staff are really friendly and keen for conversation. We come in here on a weekly basis and love it! Also the sweet potato fries are absolutely delectable! Definitely happy for this pub to be our local pub :)

Held a small wake here following a death in the family. Great value at £14 a head for an excellent buffet with unlimited tea and coffee. Many thanks indeed to Dan and his staff.

This is a very much changed and improved pub since the new Landlord Dan took over in May 2022. The selection of beers including premium lagers (Asahi & Peroni) is amazing with wonderful all day food prepared by a very talented chef called Larry. Thursday nite is quiz nite and regular live music on Friday nites (starting on July 1st) is the way forward. This is certainly now the best Fullers pub in Isleworth and well on the way to becoming the number One Fullers outlet in West London. Come down for a wonderful experience.

A little quiet, but we were early for Sunday lunch. Very friendly staff, with fairly new management just settling in. Great pint of Welsh Ale and plentiful roast for lunch.

Disappointed, Lady who took our order had no clue about drinks, before we placed the order we had to pay for drinks first. We placed food order and after seconds she came with card machine and the bill to pay before we even had a food on the table. The lady was looking lost and scared, maybe she is new. I don't know. If yes then I understand and no problem. But other lady who was working at the bar was smoking electric cigarette next to the coffee machine inside the pub. Its bit to much. Meat and salad in the burger was nice but the bun was freezing cold. Chips was good as well. To be honest the bar service was much better before pandemic.

Food just horrendous, waited for aver over for the most horrible fish and chips I ever been served in my life so far To me looks like cooked from frozen. They tried to offer us a drink but who wants drink instead of money back? Not me So we got our money back but tgat took so long and dispirite this three people came to our table to say if everything OK byt we kept saying we want our money back then we had to wait so long for that Also the startes we disaster so much oil just awful seriously AVOID!!!

I've worked there, and in their other pub, the beehive, for couple of weeks and they have never paid me. Awful management. Don't spend your money there if they can't even manage to pay their staff.

With a great variety of Beers and Wines and high quality food (probably ths best pizzas in the area) I strongly recommend the Rising Sun. The staff are very friendly and the experienced manager Mihran is very accomodating. T

Six of us all ordered different meals and everyone of them was great. The staff are really lovely very friendly and helpful. The homemade chicken Kiev was brilliant but also the pizza was very good . Would recommend it was a lovely evening .

Took the family here for a mid week treat. Was really impressed with the food, pizzas were stone baked, with an offer of buy one get one free. Very delicious. The lamb shank was amazing and fell off the bone. Excellent selection of red wine to go with it. I can't fault the place.

Ordered through Uber Eats, we decided to try a lockdown pizza to support a local business. Great idea, because the pizzas were delicious! Thin crust, made to order, and delivered right on cue. Restaurant quality food for a tasty treat. Easily good enough to make this a regular event. Give it a try!

Came after work on a Sunday around 6pm, we ordered a beef roast dinner, the beef was sliced thin as tracing paper, cut previously in the day. Then they grilled it. Roast potatoes was cold and gritty. They’ve been cooked early on in the day and then fried. The veg is from one big pot mashed together. Asked to see the chef he passed the blame on to another chef... asked for a refund as I did not eat the meal and the have refused to do so and they offered me a new meal or two pints... I paid £15 for the worst roast dinner I have ever been given in my lite. Go Toby carvery, chef was rude and passing the blame will not be eating there again.

Very Bad customer Service! The Manager Very Rud and not helpful with its costumer. My burguer taste like lamb. It Wasn’t beef. I 100% dislike lamb. So I can smell from miles away. On the first bite of the burguer. I knew it wasn’t Beef. I realised it wasn’t beef! Also the chiken burguer tasted off. The “manager” no solution He told me to take the burguer to they suplyer and enquire weather it was or not beef. . a very RUDE. I used to go there with my family to enjoy the food there to. So bad time!

One of the best Pub & Restaurant i ever been, very friendly and excellent service

This has been my local for some time now, and keep coming back for more! Lovely bar staff and management, always chatty. Decent choice of food offerings, with good deals on mid-week pizzas. Front and side gardens really nice in the summer. Is a Fullers lease, so the usual suspect with beers, and a reasonably priced wine list. Sky Sports and BT Sports add to an already great atmosphere.

Avoid the Pepperoni pizza. It arrived very oily and saggy. I should of returned it but I'm not one to make a fuss. I used tissues to absorb all of the oil. I know it's a Pub and not a pizza restaurant, but you don't send a pizza in that condition. I explained this to the waitresses and she wasn't very bothered about it, needless to say I wasn't offered an apology. Now I understand why they give you a 50% discount on the second one. Most certainly I won't be having pizza there again.
