Drove past here for absolute years and this was my first time going in. Has a pint of parachuting hedgehog. Never seen it before but will certainly be on the look out for it again. It was a very nice pint indeed The food was really good I opted for the gammon which came with a fried egg, roasted pineapple and a boat load of chips. I would definitely go there again.

Great pub, perfect walk from my house, fine beers and good, honest food. Highly recommended. (Don't tell the day trippers but it's actually the best all-round pub in Hebden...)

I've visited twice now, during the week for lunch. I intended to try different dishes on the menu, but that fisherman's pie was so good that I had to check for consistency, lol. There's a '2 mains for £22' offer during the week, too. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. No wonder it's so popular.

Called in for dinner today, ordered the fish and chips. The fish was okay but the chips were some of the greasiest soggiest chips I've ever seen, looked like they'd been cooked in old oil. Disappointing.

A popular venue for lunchtime diners and perfect for a pint of well kept cask ale. Great views across the Calder Valley. If the two mile walk from HB has warn you out, there is a half hourly bus service until 19:10 you can catch once you’ve quenched your thirst.

Beautiful spot. Friendly service. First time (May 2024) and we stopped by chance and sat on the lawn / beer table and ate outside. Food was good, although 45+ minute wait. Lovely view towards Heptonstall… (Feb 2025) We’ve been here a couple of times, the most recent was a last-minute decision on a busy day, and it was no trouble managing to sit seven of us for food and drinks. Good range of drinks and food choices. Dig friendly and plenty parking

Excellent place to stay, but sadly, we were only here for one night. Greeted by Tom, who was friendly, professional, and polite. He even offered to carry my wife's case to the room. The room was nicely decorated and had a great bathroom. There are some low beams in the room but plenty of signage, so I only banged my head once! We ate an evening dinner and breakfast, and these were really excellent. The young ladies in the restaurant were excellent. The atmosphere was good - a nice country pub/eatery.

The tim Taylor's beer is well kept and delicious. It's also a slightly cheaper pint at £4.55 than some of the other country pubs in the area. I've had a good Sunday dinner here, they serve huge portions of well cooked veg. They had vocation bread and butter ale for £3.50 which is excellent value. I really enjoyed sitting in the bar chatting with the locals, nice people, nice atmosphere. Will be going back.

So we wanted to try the 2 meals for £20 menu, Mon to Friday 12 till 7 pm at The Robin Hood Inn Pecketwell, near Hebden Bridge. Matt and his team didn't let us down, I had the roast beef dinner with seasonal vegetables, roasties, creamy mash , Yorkshire pudding, lashings of gravy, Diana had the Lasagne Al forno, chips and side salad, all fantastic, quick service ,hot food ,delicious. Dog friendly, wide choice of ales, car park, and outside seating available, but not in this weather Special thanks to the Chef Jack. He was chatting with us in the bar after his shift finished . If you're visiting Hebden Bridge, take the short drive up to this great pub, or if you're feeling energetic, walk up, build up an appetite, you won't be disappointed.

We were 3 adults travelling including my 88 year old mother in law . Staying for a catch up with pommie cousins mainly from Bingley and Wilsden who had not been to the pub in over 40 years But all will be back for future meals. Lovely friendly happy chatty bar and kitchen staff always happy to assist. Lovely meals for dinner especially the large Yorkshire pudding with mint stew. Best full English breakfast which included 2 of everything. Cereal juice also included and lots of toast. Would definitely stay again. We had the loft room easily accommodates 3 adults with a massive bathroom with shower which was lovely and warm in the morning with good water pressure. Log fires made you feel warm and cosy. Locals both 2 and 4 legged very friendly.

When you arrive here u don't get greeted so has advertised not a warm welcome ! Complete opposite ! I asked for a menu from this miserable young girl at the bar I asked her if she was ok she said yea! I said can I have some menus please she pointed over there ! Omg I thought this place can't be the same place they say is lovely warm welcoming ??? She was arrogant and rude needed a slap ! I have been to many places this must be one of the worst for attitude customer service ! We decided just to order a starter has no one came to table I went up to bar to order even though it was not busy in this place ! Starters came out not great a sliver of smoked salmon and a few tiny prawns obviously frozen food here is not the best and over priced ! Needs restructuring and management is poor

Trekked here from Hebden centre, using Google maps we were taken on a route along a windy road with no pavements which was a bit daunting, and gradually sloping up all the way, it took about 45 minutes, by the time we got there I was pretty purple in the face. Instantly loved the place, warm and welcoming, we ordered a burger and the steak pie, so hungry I didn’t even think to take photos, it was worth the trek, delicious! Proper fries too yum yum! There’s also nice seating outside with lovely views. Not wanting to walk back the bar staff arranged a taxi for us as Uber is not available

We were staying across the road and came here three times in three days. The food is remarkably good and very reasonably priced. They had lovely, varied gluten-free options and there is a gluten-free menu; they have clearly put thought into making sure there is something for everyone. Their haddock special was the standout for us but everything we had was good. They even made egg and chips on request and were always very friendly and kind. We'll be back!

Booked yesterday for 5pm it took the staff 25 mins to take our order, then 10 mins later were told it would be 20 mins for our food despite the fact we had booked and the chef and staff will have known the number of covers they had, at 5.55 pm we got our stater but only because we asked how long it was going to be, they then said because of the wait they would knock a round of drinks of the bill! When my partner went to pay they stated that they would now not be discounting the drinks because we were told it would be a 20 min wait, I argued this at to top it all the food was extremely salty, I must admit I did loose my temper, I've never ever paid £90 for such poor service! Be warned ⚠️

Cooper Kitchen & Bar is a Hidden Gem. Nestled in the heart of Elland, Cooper Kitchen & Bar offers a great dining experience that rivals those found in larger cities. The highlight is their tapas deal which is six dishes for £40, a must try for food enthusiasts. The stand out dishes are Gambas, succulent prawns cooked well, bursting with flavor. The crisp Pork Belly is a blend of sweetness and savoriness, complemented by it's Asian inspired flavours. The ever changing specials menu ensures there's always something new and exciting to try. (Or just ask the chefs to feed you, I guarantee there will be no disappointment). The venue boasts a clean and beautifully presented bar area downstairs but can be confusing at first as the restaurant is on the second floor. The front of house staff are friendly and welcoming with a good standard of service. However, to maintain the high standards set by the kitchen, it's essential to support the front of house team, as in my opinion needs more staff working on shift. While the current staff are fantastic and attentive, additional support would ensure that service remains seamless and menus stay pristine, enhancing the overall dining experience. While some may overlook Elland as a dining destination, Cooper Kitchen & Bar proves that great food doesn't require a central city location or price. Its charm and quality offerings make it a hidden gem worth discovering. Whether you're a local or planning a visit, Cooper Kitchen & Bar in Elland is a culinary destination that deserves attention. With its exceptional tapas deals ,tasting evenings and standout dishes like Gambas, pork Belly, bravas and large plates, it's a place where flavor meets value. Again the front of house needs looking into, as even on quiet nights they are too over stretched to deliver a high quality of service that coopers require. I will be back to sample more delicious small plates.

3 of us and a doggy went for lunch here today for the first time and so glad we did. Loved everything from the decor and atmosphere to the music playing, the friendly service and the outstanding food both taste and value for money. Prawn cocktail, spam fritters and mixed goujons were the starters we enjoyed followed by bangers mash and veg, fish chips and mushy peas and chicken stroganoff with half chips half rice all cooked to perfection proper home cooked delicious comforting grub we were stuffed but managed to squeeze in an Eton mess and sticky toffee pudding and custard, 3 lattes and 3 pints less than £90 great family treat day wil be back next week and recommend everyone gets there sens down here as well. Thank you to all at the White Horse x

After being asked if we wanted dessert The waiting team were friendly polite. We will be back again.
