very comfortable surroundings, food was fine, coffee disappointing . As a previous reviewer has said, the more well known you are locally, the better the service? Would go again though

We heard good things about this place, but were slightly disappointed. We became invisible for 5 minutes at the bar when we walked in, even though we were the only ones waiting: we were just ignored despite half a dozen staff milling around. The place is very popular and if you are known then you are cossetted. Food was OK but Prawns for starters and Lemon Sole for mains (small portion) was well over cooked. Decore recently updated but stll has a homely feel. We'll give it a second chance only because there are a shortage of anything like decent restaurants round here. Real ale served which was a plus

Crown Lane
First time at this restaurant since it moved. Very impressed with food and service. Menu has good choices. All food arrived hot and was of good quality. The portion sizes were also good value for money. Based on our experience would certainly recomend.

46 St. Helens RoadI'm so glad that Sara G had a good experience, when the delivery messed up her order. I however had completely the opposite customer service! I rang this restaurant after Just Eat said they had delivered, but we never received our food. The arrogant person identifying himself as Akil, the manager, told us that it wasn't their problem, after keeping me on the phone for over five minutes, chasing up our order, and to get in touch with Just Eat. No apology, nothing. The fish and chips are nice from here, but there are other chippies in Bolton, you know!? Disgraceful
