Went for Sunday lunch 17th September 2023 meat and gravy were delicious But, vegetables were disgusting and roast potatoes were the worst I’d ever had, hard, grey and revolting To top off, bill was £20.05 £11.95 for food, which was fine, BUT drink was pint of J20 and lemonade Clearly cost £8.10 that’s extortionate Couldn’t believe it, not sure I’ll be dining there again Been before on numerous occasions

Absolutely wonderful place to stay wether touring or staying in one of the modern static caravans or one.of the lovely well equipped modern rooms . wonderful location next the river Moule with lovely woodland walks Very clean and and we'll equipped campsite.Very friendly helpful and professional staff on a family owned site. The restaurant and bar is excellent the breakfast is definitely one of the best in the country in my opinion and I have eaten in a lot of establishments over the years .The Carvery on a Thursday and Sunday is second to none as are the evening meals .I would recommend this campsite to everyone wether staying or just popping in for a meal or a coffee

We stayed here for two nights, in the hotel accommodation. Very clean, fresh and welcoming. The rooms were very spacious, bed linen all clean and bed well made. Bathroom had lovely large towels all fluffy too! We ate at the on site restaurant , the first night, food was substantial, even though the menu choice was basic. A wider choice if healthy options would be a benefit. Breakfast was again substantial, choice limited to all cooked food. A continental choice would be nice! This is not a complaint , just my preference. I would most definitely stay again, the river walk on site was lovely. If you have caravan or tent the facilities looked brilliant. Thank you Riverside.

One of the best Sunday carveries that we have experienced, with a wide range of vegetables & meat; welcoming staff, especially Kim & Wendy, nothing was too much bother

Location wise excellent. Unfortunately, this tired old looking pub has definitely seen better days! Need of major investment, but it would definitely be worth it. Years ago, this pub was full of customers all of the time.

Bad first (not that bad ..😆) A bit old and dated, dispite the newish tile panelling Batter was nice but a little oily on the fish (soaked into the batter) The good.. HUGE battered fish - (suggest you just get the small one) cooked perfectly Sirloin steak was tender and cooked perfectly (ordered medium) I was pleasantly surprised on the quality, as it's a basic takeaway with a restaurant attached and it was under £20, so no top steak restaurant - but kudos to the chef, best £20 steak I've had, and better than some classier $$$$ places I've been, For that £20 I also got onion rings (perfect), salad - quality greens, few cut up bits of capsicum a couple of mushrooms, tomato, fried tomato too and plenty of chips cooked perfectly and very nice. (but best chips in UK I've had is at Lochgilphead - Scotland) Constructive criticism only - I was VERY happy given the price, Way better than a lot of places I've been to so far in the UK, and would definitely eat the same dishes again. Staff were friendly... This is at the end of the tourist season too. (Oct'24)

Me & my partner came here on 5/9/24 on a very rainy day. We both grabbed a little drink and a treat here and relaxed in the lovely cafe after a long wet walk from Croyde bay. The staff here were wonderful and all really lovely! The millionaires shortbread was the best I’ve ever had and the cheesy chips were delicious! There is a wide variety of drinks to choose from, both hot and cold. Really lovely vibes and will definitely come here again!
