I often bring my mum here as she loves the river and this is a great place to stop for a coffee and a bite to eat and is dog friendly. They offer a selection of sandwiches and salads which are freshly prepared and cakes as well as a very good coffee. There is seating just inside the building and plenty on the water front, you can easily loose an hour here watching the world go by. The cafe is clean, the staff always happy and helpful. Never had a bad sarnie or bit of cafe here, highly recommend. PS whoever did the paintings on the building is super talented and worth stopping to have a look at.

Stopped off for quick lunch after a great riverside walk to Kingston. Food is individually made and very tasty. Lovely salads. Caters for light lunches, snacks and coffee but good selection. Best on sunny day when you can sit outside and river and people watch.

The Riverside Cafe on Queen's Promenade deserves its reputation as a mini oasis in the hustle and bustle of Kingston's shopping 'experience'. A friendly welcome, good snack food, excellent Coffee Bay cups of coffee... it has a loyal following, and is a great place to watch the river, admire the swans and other water birds and see the boats chug by.

The Riverside cafe is in a good location next to the river with outdoor seating overlooking the river. We only stopped for coffee which was good, they also sell food such as sandwiches.

Small cafe located on the Surbiton side of Kingston on the banks of the River Thames. The cafe serves coffee and snacks or a hot meal. Outside seating tables and chairs. Nice to walk to ravens ait and back and then to have a rest and a coffee here.

This is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a latte whilst watching the river. The coffee is really good and the kiosk itself looks very attractive and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to have anything to eat but I'll have something next time I'm in the area as the cakes looked delicious.

If you want a place to relax and have a bite to eat by the river during your shopping trip into Kingston, then this is the ideal place. Friendly staff and great food choice. The girls are always welcoming and go the extra mile. Also good news. 'They now take credit card'. :)

What a brilliantly relaxing lunch by the River Thames . The opposite end to the hullaboo of trendy cafes of the town. The sun and gentle lap of water as boats paddle steamers canoes etc enjoy the river. The toasted Ciabatta filled with mozarello; Italian Salami ;Tomatoes and pesto sauce was so fresh and moist I could have been in Italy. Fabulous!

Went for a walk last weekend and stumbled on this delighted little cafe with chairs and tables on the tow path. Fast and cheery service and a great place to watch the work and boats go by.

Really friendly service coupled with a great location. Popped in to grab a drink, as I have done on several occasions and the friendly nature of the manager and her staff is refreshing. Lovely people.

Nice coffee and friendly staff in this informal, local cafe. The location is an absolute winner - right next to the river. On a sunny day this is a great place to sit by the river and watch the world go by. Also sell cake and ice cream. Summer opening only.

The cafe is right by the river, a short walk from the rest of the bars/restaurants that adorn the river in Kingston. It's quite small, with most of the seating outside. So obviously on a sunny day, it does better than when it is cold and wet. It was a warm sunny day, so it seem like a nice spot to sit and enjoy the sun whilst getting a coffee. However, the coffee was awful, not sure what blend they use, but it was rank. One of the worst coffees I have had in ages. Such a shame, as it's a pleasant place to sit.

What a delightful find. Right on the river near the border with Surbiton (opposite the TA centre), opening all through summer and on fine days in winter. Nice selection of cakes and sandwiches, with chairs and tables both outside and in- although just a few inside. We'll go back!

I’m full from the Halal breakfast and I even asked to remove the beans from it which gos to show how much you get while also being flexible and adaptive for the customers, we only spent £5-£10 each

I have held a few important functions here and like it a lot - not on my doorstep, but worth the journey. The building is pleasant with plenty of free parking onsite and public transport is nearby.

Meant to be open until 10pm. I walked in at 9:15pm and they turned me away as had turned everything off and started cleaning down. This is the second time this has happened.
