Used to stop by in the late 80s when it was more of an alternative destination for Goths. Anyone remember those days?

It's a great place to go with friends and great value for money. Has a pool table and a beautiful river view.

Great vibes, cheap drinks, all round great pub. love this place. would come again. literally here every week. favourite place.

There is always great service and friendly staff and bouncers. Also the live music is good on fridays, would recommend.

The best pub in Kingston. Had another fantastic night in the mill. The staff are amazing, really know how to look after you. Great atmosphere, great view of river, pool, sports, cheap drinks and £3 happy hour to top it off. What more can you want?

If cheap pints and games of pool are your thing? Then you've come to the right place. Highly recommend this pub! If you have a student ID, then this place might just become your second home.

Thought I'd add a comment to contrast the clearly fake 5 star reviews. A sunny Saturday afternoon, you'd think a pub would be well stocked and keen to serve as many people as possible. To start with, no vegetarian burger on the menu. Guys, it's 2024, wake-up and keep-up. Unavailable on the day...Mac and cheese and halloumi bites. Doing well so far. My burger order then turns up without the coleslaw. Guess what they're out of that as well. Forget to bring the dip for the fried mushrooms. That arrives with a sour off-taste. My burger is burnt to a crisp and topped with cold bacon. Add to this no soap in the toilets for a great experience!

Came here the other night and the pubs 10/10. The service is fast, the bar staff are polite and it’s the atmosphere is chill, with a bit of music on the side.

Love coming to The Mill, not just for the £3 a drink happy hour every weekday (but that does help!) Lots of space to sit and chill, work or whatever like. Excellent views of the river! Hidden gem of Kingston. Service and staff are always fantastic, never have any problem at all with the service and welcoming vibe every time. Food menu is quite limited and don't get cutlery etc by default, it's what I'd say is perfect pub food and not fine dining. Which I'd point out that this place is not trying to be that, so take note - cheap for a reason! Its rare for first choice of food to be available, and most of the menu isn't. It would help to have a menu of the things actually available and not a generic brand one. Drinks are what this places does really well.... highly recommended! Could do with a bit of maintenance attention when comes to the toilets. Gets trashed and is a bit grim at times with water on floor. Great to see hand dryer fixed now. 4* review. It really can't be a 5* through no fault of anyone working today, needs some improvement on menus and food and the toilets.

Very disappointed. We booked a table in here for food with friends this evening. We were given a dingy table in a dark area and the pub was freezing cold because the doors to the outside were wide open so it was very draughty. Sorry to say we had one drink and promptly left. Shan't be returning in a hurry.

The quiz master alex was very good and engaging and they are one of two venues in kingston which has a pool table so this is a very good element to the establishment :)

Enjoyed the quiz as a lurker, listening in. Regretted not participating. Quiz master on top of his game, posing interesting questions seemingly accessible but challenging. Learned plenty but, didn't feel too uneducated. Will come back another time.

Always a great quiz on a Tuesday night. Great pub and well priced drinks

You know its a bad sign when you walk into a pub and a table of 6 blokes doesnt have a single draft pint between them. Just bottles and mixed drinks. I stupidly didn't heed this warning, and had possibly the worst pint I've had the misfortune to order. Tried another, same problem. Cant work out how they get it so wrong

My food order was not processed and i never received part of it

My sister and I came to Kingston for the day. We were looking for somewhere to eat that wasn't too expensive. We found the mill. We ordered a chicken fillet burger and a beef with bacon burger, came with fries. It was quite tasty. The young lady was very polite and friendly. Nice view next to the river. It was nice and quiet, low music in the background so you could hear yourself talking. Next time we come to Kingston, we will come here again.

This is a nice pub for a drink & it’s dog friendly but do not order food here! We were a table of 5 & every single plate ordered was vile! The food is all frozen and comes straight from iceland- a quick go in the microwave & ping your meal arrives. The ‘drunken’ mushrooms are appropriately named as you would have to be drunk to eat them. They were vile, soggy and full of grease. I asked the waiter to take them away because they were making me feel sick & his only reply was ‘i’ll let the chef know’. My Partner’s pie turned up cremated, still in the tin that it had been cooked in. The steak sandwhiches were mostly bread and didn’t contain any of the ingredients listed on the menu. Even the dirty fries were inedible, absolute filth. The waiter didn’t even come to remove our full plates because he knew how dire the food was. I would never visit this place again.
