Ritty's Place in Stevenage

We come to Stevenage a few times a year for an event and always eat here or get a takeaway. Can't recommend highly enough tasty food and good portions Jerk Chicken has the right heat and the boneless curry goat is really tender. We don't eat before we get to Stevenage now just save ourselves up! Had a takeaway delivered to our hotel today and it was awesome 👌

First time ordering through JustEat- jerk chicken and boneless goat curry were absolutely amazing ! Tender meat and lots of it. Dumplings a hit too. Feeling full- would recommend. Thank you !

My friend knows the owner and reccomended we try out the food, the portions were plentiful the food came hot and flavoursome. We had jerk chicken wings, boneless curry goat with rice and peas and some plantain and coleslaw on the side, all high quality great food. I would definitely reccomend this to others my only criticism is of the mac and cheese which was average.

Love this place very tasty food. Wish someone would give me the recipe for their jerk chicken its amazing, curry goat and dumplings amazing too. I got some xtra for tomorows dinner but Im sure i won't be able to sleep tonight thinking about it and will prob end up sneaking down stairs to eat it at 3am lol.

We had a delicious takeaway delivered. Including curried goat, chicken patty, jerk wings, rice and peas and dumplings. The food was hot, fresh and very tasty! Would definitely recommend and have again!!

Good quality carribean food. I tried this with a friend of mine yesterday. Stagg were really friendly. The food is really good quality and they have some carribean beers too. You will not leave that place feeling hungry, portions are very generous. Good quality food. I'm just looking forward to when they do goat soup, as I am eager to try that.

I thought I would try Ritties due to the reviews, and they didn’t let me down. The food was fantastic big portions and very tasty. As for the run cake. Outstanding. Will be ordering again.

We have eaten from here a few times now and I must say it’s delicious! The portions are big and we always enjoy our meals from here. We had some of the rum cake too as it’s Christmas lol. That was yummy too! Thanks Clinton and crew xx

Wrong order to start with and under cooked curry chicken travelled 40 minutes for this.. glad we didn’t eat it as one of us is pregnant.

There always seems to be a huge pot of Curry Goat bubbling on the stove, which smells amazing. Very tasty takeaways for anyone who enjoys spices!

Had take aways from here several times never been disappointed highly recommend good food good price good service think thier only down fall they need to market themselves better when we mention to friends they haven’t heard of them

Absolutely amazing the goat was so tender and juicy amazing flavours but back again a hour later I recommend going here for good food lovely owner and staff also the fried dumplings are good but there curry’s are the one and the wings if you want good food go here

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time last night. The food was hot, fresh and more importantly extremely tasty. The jerk chicken and curried goat were the highlights. We'll be ordering again from here soon

The delivery didn't take long to get to us (30 mins). The food was very nice, except the chicken could have been slightly cooked more as was on the cusp of raw/cooked. however, overall it was very tasty :)

Doesn’t taste authentic, actually tasteless. The goat was full to the brim with bones, more than meat itself. The sauce too watery. The boneless jerk chicken very dry. The jerk sauce was not great, I’ve had better elsewhere. Rice was also dry. Will not return.

Just had lunch here with my family. Really good flavour, really good sized portions. My dad and step mum had the goat curry which they both said was really good. I had the chicken roti and sweet potato fries. Would highly recommend!
