We went for the lunch at jesmond , first we was bit hesitated as we don’t eat beef and port but TRISH was very accommodative and explained the chicken and lamb choices, we really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant . Staff was very friendly and very nice Food five start Staff five star Cleanliness five star 🌟

Fantastic service and beautiful tasty food. A cornucopia of flavours. Only downside is that it’s very hard not to eat too much!

Never been before and would go back food and service very good.All the meat perfect and salad bar was all very fresh and with a good selection of items.My wife is not a big meat eater so she went for the salmon choice off menu which she also enjoyed very much.Well done to all

Came in a little early and they accommodated us, drinks and a place to put our coats and umbrellas. Seated promptly as soon as a table available (Mother’s Day so really busy) Staff were friendly and explained everything to us and th kids in particular, always coming around with different types of meat and asking what you wanted/were waiting for. Great family dining experience. Brady was a brilliant server!

Sophie our sever was the friendliest ever! Food was incredible. If you love steak you need to go. Very good value!!!!!!!

We were served by Trish on Monday 26/02 at around 2pm she was so welcoming. I also overheard her speaking to a family with a baby and it was a lovely interaction. The food was great and I initially thought it might not be as good as it wasn’t too busy, however the meats are just as frequent. The guy serving the meat was also really polite. We had a great visit.

The food was absolutely lovely, you will get billed for sauces, my only gripe is they put a 10% service charge on your bill, then tell you , you may take it off if you wish... makeing some people feeling embarrassed to say no.... it boils me and more place trying it on... if you don't want to be a waitress or waiter don't ,, (rant over) you will enjoy the food again that can't be faulted...

Absolutely brilliant night yet again. Been to a few different Rio restaurants, but the Jesmond one is the best by far. Staff are top class and Ryan, our server, was excellent from start to finish and made our night a great occasion, making us feel welcome from start to finish.

1st time at rios was amazing staff were great the ambience of the place was amazing too will definitely be back absolutely stuffed with the food which was mouthwatering

Rio has been our fave restaurant (in Jesmond) but Sophie had made it an even better experience because she was absolutely lovely!! Thanks for making our night and made my husband’s birthday dinner an experience we will never forget! :)
