The food was excellent. Really nice atmosphere and playlist was great!! Staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly! Cocktails were excellent, best French martini I’ve ever had!

I Stayed at the hotel on arriving in Edinburgh. Check in was easy and the hotel/restaurant staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They even helped my friend and I carry our bags up to our rooms. Note - there is no lift so you have to navigate stairs. The rooms are large, very comfortable with fun personal and funky touches like the little SMEG fridge in the room with a milk jug for tea. Great staff, great food, fun place and close to everything on Frederick St.

I was around on Tuesday with friends for a drink. We saw this Cocktail bar in Frederick street Rabble and inside we had few cocktails and we were served by a gently and fun Italian guy called Giovanni. Very nice and relaxing evening. We recommend to go there.

Food was delicious, very good value and the chef prepared a gluten free meal for myself that was one of the best I have ever tasted.

Arriving @ the Hotel to drop off our cases, we were greeted by Ruth with a big smile & a genuinely happy hello. We were taken thru to a recepion area where we met Michaela,who greeted us with the same response. Room wasn't ready yet as it was 12 md. When we returned our cases were in our room.room was lovely with coffee machine, tea & coffee making facilities. Hair dryer & straighteners. Very clean. We booked dinner in hotel, which was delicious, bar & restaurant staff were very friendly Tyrone the manager introduced himself & chatted with us for a while. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their work. Breakfast was great, again served by happy employees. Will definitely return .Maggie & Diane. X

From the moment we walked in to check in, we were greeted with a warm smile and friendly attention. Aman served us at both lunch and dinner, and the smile never wavered! She will also be on at breakfast and I have no doubt she will be equally as welcoming then. The design and layout of the bar has clearly been thought about and the combination of that plus the well laid out menu and lovely staff proved a winning combination. The food was lovely, the room very comfortable. Good choice of beers on tap (Aman rhymed them off effortlessly) and the Sauvignon Blanc was very good (I’ve yet to find out the origin tho) (Good deal via 5PM, nice room with cocktail on arrival) I’ll be keeping a close eye on future offrts

The food was delicious , coffee perfect. Atmosphere, gorgeous you can sit in the back room with beautiful plants all around, or sit up front by the large windows Ruth, our waitress, was amazing!!

Really nice spot with fun cocktails, great staff and good food. We went on a Sunday evening for dinner. The place wasn't super busy and the staff was very attentive. We had a chicken sandwich, a Cobb salad and steak frites. Good portions and tasty. Don't have anything other than positive things to say.

The Rabble was as promised. A boutique style hotel. Rooms were small, clean & appointed with items one needs for a few days visit. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable @ accommodating especially Ruth. The Taproom & Grill has a nice menu & tasty food.

We stopped off for cocktails and wine after purchasing cocktail wrist bands. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The bar is fantastic. Very tastefully decorated with a really good atmosphere. The wrist band deal was superb so it saved us a fortune. Would gladly recommend for drinks and a nice night out. Congrats to all the staff too. They helped make the night really enjoyable.

Visited here after reading reviews and noticing they were dog friendly. The service was excellent and they made both me and my puppy Bruno completely at ease. They brought him biscuits and gave him lots of attention! The food was great. I ordered the steak and beef dripping chips, probably the best thing I ate in Edinburgh! I will definitely be visiting again!
