So sad to hear that they have stopped serving food apart from bar nibbles.

Food was terrible but pint was great

food was the worst i had ever seen. the plates were dirty the food was cold and just thrown together. dont know who is cooking but you need too stop i will not be back there again

We had the soup of the day and Steak pie watched cup final they have booths with TV would recommend this place to everyone staff very nice and helpful

Fine. I was only on 30 minutes for a quick coffee. Big screen and loud football, though that's no complaint, it's just not my thing. Barmaid was pleasant and chatty, coffee was fresh from a machine, so hot, and cleanliness was ok. I didn't do an in-depth study. Didn't visit the toilets.

Friendly staff, good price, great food! Couldn’t ask for more from a neighborhood bar and grill with true Scottish fare. Best fish and chips we had our entire trip! And the beer choices were wonderful! Would totally go back if we were in the area again.

This place has had a bit of a makeover in recent years and seems to get good ratings for food now. Previously it was a local football-type pub and for men mainly. I'll have to check it out at lunch sometime because I certainly wouldn't be comfortable eating a meal there in the evening. The noise from the guys on the pool table would put you off your scran, I reckon.

Absolute fantastic place to go! The food is second to none and clearly homemade and the price of food and drink is excellent compared to other places. The service is the by far some of the best service I have seen in a pub, it’s fast and the people are very kind and welcoming, going as far as on my second trip there gifting me with a £5 voucher for my next visit. I was staying in the local hotel and it’s only a 15 minute walk there or a 5 minute drive which when it’s compared to the price of the hotel food and drink makes it a well worth journey. 100% recommended by myself!

Have been a cple of times and the food is lovely. Really nice friendly staff too. I'm going to book fir a xmas meal.

I was back at The Terrace earlier this week and had to post another review. There are special menus on Monday to Thursday and these are FANTASTIC value - essentially a selection of the main meals at half price. I had the tagliatelle carbonara and my daughter had the Cajun penne pasta - both came with garlic bread and were delicious. Each day has different theme - need to make sure I get back for the half price chicken burger which is also excellent. My daughter wants to go back for curry specials. Two main meals, 2 pints of Diet Coke all for under £16- I recently paid more than that for a main meal in Fort William which wasn’t as nice. Aside from the delicious food and excellent value for money the very warm welcome from the lovely Amanda and the rest of the team make every visit a total pleasure. Thank you - we’ll be back!

Excellent food and friendly service. We all had a different main course and sweet. All of which were good portions, well cooked, and presented. Waitress service was friendly and efficient adding a personal touch with a birthday presentation of the sweet. Made the recipients' day. 👍😋

Went for a few drinks and a meal with my girlfriend, mum and little sister. The food and drinks where great and overall we enjoyed it. An older women who was serving let us know kids couldn't stay in the pub after 8pm which is fine, I understand that. My mum and little sister leave at 8 and I go try order a drink at the bar but I'm told its table service only by the same older women while I've just seen 4 people being served at the bar. I sit down and wait 30 minutes still waiting to put an order in while 2 big tables of people go up to order. the table next to us with 2 much younger kids than my sister are still in the bar at this point running and screaming. We left at quarter to 9 as I didn't really feel like being there any longer when we were told what rules we had to follow but then no one else has to follow those.

Came for lunch with family and although there was a bit of a wait (chef's first day, so understandable) food was lovely and there was plenty to choose from. Waitress was very nice too. We'll be back😁well worth a visit.

Went for a family meal for daughters 11th birthday . Staff made her feel like a Princess and could not help enough accommodating for 2 wheelchairs. Food was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Was in today for lunch with my mum and the service we received from Leslie was amazing. She was so friendly, welcoming, chatty and polite. The service was very quick and she was very attentive throughout. She gave us lots of recommendations and was very passionate about the food and drinks. She is an asset to your team! Also the chicken and chorizo with chilli jam was delicious.

We popped into The Terrace on a Tuesday, not even knowing the place existed and on the off chance of them having a table for us (busy times everywhere due to the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme). They did, and we enjoyed some nice 'pub food'. Haggis lasagne, Hunter's chicken and macaroni cheese were all very tasty. Meals came with nice chips too. The staff were really friendly and they were well organised: staff were wearing face masks, hand sanitiser was available, temperatures were checked, customers sign up to track & trace online. I wouldn't mind going back soon to try some other options from their menu :)

Came for a meal with family, was 50% off so was quite busy so we did wait a while but was definitely worth the wait. Every one of us really enjoyed our meals and the waiter serving us was a lovely guy too. We will definitely be back!

I attempted to enter the terrace for an afternoon drink with my friend, we both live locally and have been there before on several occasions. We are both 21 years old and had valid (government issued) driving licences, one full licence and one provisional license. I was gobsmacked to find out that they refused to serve us as they have introduced a rule that states that they accept passports and full driving licenses only... I’m very disappointed as we have previously enjoyed the atmosphere but we will not return, as there are plenty of more welcoming bars nearby.

We decided to give this fantastic, warm pub a go after being recommended to us by a relative. The place is warm, relaxed and the two ladies, Yvonne & Lesley, who served us adding friendly faces and good humoured service to the meal. Definitely a sports pub, with screens at almost every table, but they don't intrude on your meal even if you're not there for the footy. Good food, great prices and value for money. Can't beat that! Recommend the lamb shanks if they're on the menu.

I often take my nonagenarian Mum out for Sunday lunch, and it is really handy that we have found, in repeated visits over several months, that our favourite fish and chips is only two minutes drive from her Costorphine house. Just watch out that there is not a major football game on on Sky when you choose to go.

Back in my home city for a few days but, for so many reasons, trying to avoid Wetherspoons, I checked out Trip advisor and decided this establishment looked well worth a visit. The decor is that of a sports bar, with several televisions dotted around showing Sky Sports. A nice touch, I thought was individual TVs in the 3 x 4 seater booths. Absolutely faultless bar tending from the young lady behind the bar, I sensed a genuine pride in providing good customer service. They have a good varied selection of dishes on their menu with such as “San Siro Italian Chicken” and “San Marino Haggis Lasagne” as well as the usual pub grub favourites, steaks, curries, fish and chips, scampi etc ( all with suitably sporty names ). I ordered steak. Rare. Described as “Old Trafford 10 oz Ribeye”. It was served with good quality chips, a little salad on the side and a spoonful of chopped mushrooms. It was on the smaller end of the size range for “10 oz” and quite thin but adequate. Perhaps not as rare as I would have liked and it could have benefited from some seasoning, however apart from those personal preferences this was a well presented and nicely cooked meal. I will absolutely, definitely be back with friends, there is something about this bar/restaurant which is just “good”.

Das The Terrace ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Essen , Trinken und eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Auch das Essen dort ist sehr köstlich. Ein riesiges Kombliment an die Mitarbeiter , die dort sehr höflich und absolut zuvorkommend sind !!!!

Fab food new menu even had half price cocktails if we had eaten after 6 pm on Sunday would have got discount. Has many offers check Facebook page even free 3 course meal on your birthday. Will defo be back

Fuimos a la terraza un jueves por la noche, por primera vez. Ciertamente sería el último. Teníamos el bistec, venía con papas fritas, guisantes, tomate, ensalada de setas, aros de cebolla fritos, y teníamos la salsa de pimienta que venía en su propio plato. Todo estaba delicioso y preparado a pedido. El personal era muy amable y atento.

I've gave the terrace a 5 as the staff where amazing, the place on a sun, was full of football supporters, it was to noisy for us so we just had a cuppa then decided to go, the staff apologise (although nothing could be done) and gave us a voucher, we where really pleased, it's lovely there but check what football is on

Enjoyed the Burger lunch deal- service was attentive and friendly and the food was great and felt it was good value for money.It wasn't particularly busy when we lunched, but The Terrace had a pleasant atmosphere.
