Actually in Queensway Bognor so I guess it’s moved. On recommendation met up with some old mates for breakfast which we do every month but we won’t be returning. Obviously popular as it was pretty full with a constant stream of work men queuing up for their take always so if you don’t mind someone on your shoulder all the time it probably is ok. Unfortunately the quality of the food left some room for improvement, can’t criticise the quantity but do you really want a lot of something you don’t like? Sausage (1) was a cheap deep fried version, was it hash brown or bubble and squeak, hard to tell there was too much and it was greasy. The bacon was hard and overcooked as was the fried egg, black pudding was ok as were the beans and fried bread, the best thing was the freshly cooked mushroom. Sorry won’t be back.

Fantastic cafe in Bognor Regis. The food was brilliant; quality, quantity and the price was a bargain. The staff are really friendly; a nice family run atmosphere. During our 3 night visit to Bognor, we would have liked to eat here more often but it wasn't open on Sunday's or the Bank Holiday.

As the title suggests..... full gut bash required at the time & it ticked all the boxes while being very tasty. It was so refreshing to have a proper sausage, unlike at other cafes been recently. Black pudding also full of flavour & cooked to perfection. Fried bread was a real treat too. Only thing that let them down slightly was the beans, not being Heinz. Lovely friendly staff, delivered good in friendly timely manner & all Covid rules observed

I found the place by accident and now visit once a week. You get a homemade roast dinner and pudding for just over £6. You get plenty of meat and vegetables, I prefer theirs to Charley Purleys. My favourite is the cottage pie.

Recommended to family to go there for breakfast! Have been numerous times before with no issues. However on this occasion there where six of us, the orders were mixed up, waitress arguing no toast was ordered when it was. Some food was BTF. All in all disappointing and a shame.....brush up on your customer skills and create a system for managing large orders!!

We found ourselves in Bognor early in the morning, we had seen Ricks before and thought it looked clean and tidy, we tried a full breakfast, a considerable bargain. It set us up for the day! Bearing in mind the value for money this diner offers it is pretty busy so do not expect a quiet breakfast. Many locals seem to be regulars (a good sign) so many know one another so you may find yourself in the middle of a conversation between two or more tables, I am not in Bognor often but would definitely go again.

Ricks cafe is a legendary cafe in Bognor. You must try this place for breakfast or lunch. We come here regularly for the rolls, we change what we have in the roll but it must always be with bubble, don't miss out this is what makes Ricks rolls/breakfasts a cut above the rest. I recommend Bacon & Mushroom with Bubble.

This is a classic British Cafe serving all the usual fare; comfort food with proper mugs of tea. Have to say, our perpetual favourite is the bacon butty, which comes with 'bubble' (mashed potatoes soaked in bacon juice) - salivating just thinking about it!

We normally go to Rick's for a fry up but Rick does do any combination of breakfast items and also lunches as well. The food can be eaten in or taken away.Friendly staff. If you are in Bognor and want a good breakfast or lunch, give Rick's a visit - you won't be disappointed. He no longer opens on Sundays sadly but is open six days a week from very early to around 2 pm.

Having now moved to The Queensway in Bognor, whether it's for a good substantial breakfast or a roast lunch you can always be sure of a warm welcome and a hearty meal at a very reasonable price. A good choice of sandwiches and rolls and something to please any appetite. If it's just a good "no frills" cafe you're looking for then you can't go wrong with Ricks.

Food is freshly cooked and is always edable. Very cheap lunches for a big plate of food. I recently had a breakfast which was not on the menu list. I had 2 sausages, 2 bacon, 1 egg, baked beans, chips , 2 toast and a coffee for £5.00.However one of everything is £4.30 which is amazing.sausage,bacon,egg.baked beans, toms, black pudd, mushrooms, toast, fried bread, bread & butter , coffee or tea and of course bubble and sqeak. Staff are very helpful and the place is always clean and tidy.

The best breakfast dog(sausage)/bacon/egg rolls.i have been going to Ricks cafe for years and the quality of the rolls and the bubble are just unbeatable. I even remember back in the days of when Rick was at Terry Turners and the rolls were a winner then and still are now. I dont think you can beat Ricks for value and quality of Breakfast. I've never been for lunch but they look good to.

This café reminds me of a truckers café.If you are looking for value for money, you cannot go wrong at Rick's. On my first visit I actually asked them if they had taken for everything. A tea, milky coffee, bacon sarnie and sausage sarnie and had change from £5. It was correct, they offer real value for money. They offer a good selection of sandwiches but also serve main meals and some lovely puds!!Staff are also really friendly

I had a bacon roll which was average. Coffee was ok.People seemed to be waiting for lunch to start. My wife had lunch 3 days later and said it was a good size portion but veg was overcooked, just like your mum did in 1970. Worth the money if you are hungry.

There is none better ANYWHERE. Good grub and plenty of it. All freshly cooked, everyday. You cannot beat their Roast Lunches, served with fresh vegs and crispy roast potatoes. Eat the lunch and get a desert for ONLY 15 Pence. Spotted Dick is my Fav. I have read the adverse comments on here - to them I say "Go up the road to XXXXXXX and pay £9 for a lunch, plus £3.95 for a desert - and that is Self Service". From Lands End to John O' Groats and all places in between, you will NOT be served better. Food you CAN eat, at prices you CAN afford, it has to be RICKS CAFE in Bognor Regis. The fact that the cafe is always full, speaks volumes.I am just off there now....... ENJOY ....... ENJOY.

We eat here occasionally, usually when on leave from work. This week we have eaten on differing days Breakfast and Lunch. This excellent "Greasy spoon" style of cafe is anything but greasy serving really good breakfasts (about 20 different versions) The usual builders mug of tea or coffee and of course Bacon or sausage butty's that seem to vanish out the door almost as quickly as they can be made.A variety of home made lunches are served all with a choice of fresh veg and potato. This is a friendly cafe full of regulars but not somewhere that the new customer needs to be afraid of being ignored. The service is great fast and friendly. the prices are also very goodWell done Rick.

Please go to Ricks if you love your food floating on a sea of grease otherwise avoid like the plague.Bubble and squeak tastes of nothing. Cheap nasty sausages and cheap bread used. Yes, it is very cheaply priced but I would rather pay the extra pound and get something decent. I have been in this place well over 10 times and it never fails to disappoint either at its Linden Road location or at its new premises at the Queensway. Sorry to all those who love it, but I think it is truly truly awful.

I had heard about this place and local people often say its amazing and now it had moved closer to where I live I thought I would give it a try. The food was OK nothing special but certainly better than some local cafe's. The surroundings and clientele were more akin to some DSS doss house than a town centre cafe. Full of people who looked like they could do with a good wash or pensioners that looked strapped for cash. Not somewhere I will rush back to but it is cheap and it is cheerful so if thats your thing then go for it. Yet another place in Bognor that deep fries the sausages on its breakfasts though, disappointing.

Left it to the last minute for sunday lunch then remembered this pub, had one cancellation so managed to fit two of us in. Staff really welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely like stepping back in time in this beautiful old pub , had a table in the restaurant, one roast beef & one pork belly which we couldnt fault, a lovely selection of vegetables, followed by two Apple crumbles & custard complements to the chef. We will definatly be back soon. Thankyou.

Went today for a couple of coffees, after waiting 5 minutes some young guy who had been folding napkins eventually wandered over looking most disinterested. I asked for 2 coffees and he said ' can't do hot drinks '. No apology or reason why. Needless to say with 2 other places nearby, West Park and The Waverley, where you feel welcome will not be coming back here.
