The man on reception answering the calls is always so polite and helpful! Delicious food too! Great sizes and prices, always recommend this place.

Collected Sunday, Food was great as always, Vindaloo and Madras gravy was spot on, good size portions and the nan breads were a decent size too. Can't fault it. Old school curry, no nonsense. really good value for money.

Tough lamb no excuses waste of money

First time using this restaurant and have to say I think we have found our new Indian take away... the lamb chops literally melt in your mouth. My kids loved everything they ate. The chicken tikka balti was lovely too. And also arrived before expected time

The worst take away I've ever eaten , diarrhoea diarrhoea diarrhoea, never again 😤

Had my last 3 currys from here and can't complain at all, had a takeaway last night and they forgot my onion bhaji's, i said don't worry but they insisted they went and got them, which they did! Great service! I'd recommend the chicken tikka it's so tender!

Fantastic. Best curry I’ve had in years. A proper vindaloo which was very hot which is what I asked for and a tikka massalla with plenty of flavour. Great all round.

Loved all the dishes. So happy a local Indian has things labelled vegan. The non chicken bhuna was delicious, the tarka daal, chana masala and daal masala were also on point. The food was quite spicy which was a pleasant surprise as I find a lot of takeaways are very mild and I like spicy food. Fast delivery, very good flavour, overall lovely! Also want to say after reading reviews and people complaining that the korma was too sweet 🤣 order a proper curry then 🤦🏻‍♂️

We order curry from here regularly and every time the whole family always agrees that they make the best curry ever. We highly recommend Rice and spice! This is now an update to my last review above from 4 years ago!!! We still order regularly from Rice and Spice and still consider them the best! We love the chick dansak and garlic chilli chicken. The Sag panneer and Sag aloo are amazing too! My previous 5 star review still stands :)

Chicken tikka was used in chicken butter dish. None of the food we ordered was tasty and they were very sweet. The lamb in lamb sag was very chewy and dry. Also ordered bread that has some stone stone layer stick to them. The delivery guy was very rude and I never knew what his problem was? This is the first and last time I order from that place.

Great food from all parts of India, they even sell Sri Lankan and Bangla dishes. The owner so friendly and polite, definitely recommend the food if your feeling a taste of South Asian food

Ordered the Butter Chicken & Chicken Korma. I must say I was very disappointed with the food. The Butter Chicken was extremely sweet and it had tandoori chicken pieces in it which tasted awful with the sweet butter chicken sauce. The Korma was also very sweet. Will not buy from here ever again.

Just wanted a simple snack. The tandoori chicken wings were fresh, succulent & delicious. I'll be going back for more.

Thought id give this place a try. Wont be going back anytime soon. Food wasnt as nice as other takeaways Shame as staff were friendly.

We ordered a takeaway this evening for the first time from Rice and Spice, all the dishes were perfectly cooked arrived piping hot and everything was extremely tasty. I can recommend the Lamb Vindaloo lovely and hot with well cooked lamb and potato in a rich pretty fiery sauce. The Chicken Makhani has a rich creamy sauce, slightly spicy and sweet with beautifully cooked chicken pieces. The Lemon rice and Pilau rice very flavoursome and the Saag Aloo is to die for, so tasty and full of flavour. We will definitely be ordering again soon, Rice and Spice get a huge thumbs up from this curry lover.

Lucky enough to have this as my local. Order almost every week. It's really tasty food and arrives quickly.

My Son recommended Rise & Spice so ordered in shop. The front of house guy helped me out as I am not familiar with Indian. He pointed out that If I ordered one more item I qualify for there discount , this made the bill £3.00 less then the original but with more items. Food was delicious Thanks.

Very friendly and the food is amazing - way better than any other place. Used to order food out from here at least once a week. Recently moved away and we still miss the food.

This Indian takeaway is a hit and miss. They give you a couple of good ones so you can keep ordering. Then they will chuck in a terrible one. I wouldn’t order from them again.

They need to give other takeaways cooking lessons! One of the best Indian takeaway there is. We’ve moved to a different place but still drive to rice&spice after trying three takeaways around us - nothing compares. Amazing!

We ordered food and they said they couldn't contact us. Instead they left the food outside our flat, where anyone could've taken it. When we called to ask where the food they were disrespectful and were unapologetic. They told us to do whatever we want and had no concern of the food being just left outside. If we had to pay still, I'm certain they would've taken the food back to the resturant. We are going to report them to the council for being irresponsible.

1st time ordering. Absolutely yummy, onion bhaji's were huge, so was friends belly after. It'll take a week for it to shrink!!!! Definitely recommend

I have been using this takeaway for 3 years. Have tried other's along the way but gravitate back as it truly is the best in the area. Good portions,gull of flavour and not greasy.. well recommended

Very disappointing meal tonight, will not order from rice and spice again. King prawns were rubbery, chicken was tough, naan bread was inedible. I would not give 1 star but I had to, I wouldn't recommend

Usually good food but last night was rubbish, chicken was bland and dry and veg curry tasted like veg soup.will never use them again!!

disappointed to be honest. Thought about this for 48 hrs, Veggie dish was ok but the Tandoori half chicken is a couple of wings and bones, no breast meat, oily tasteless, really tasteless. Guys a half chicken, and don't be semantic please, includes a breast portion of the chicken. If you guys argue this, I will get trading standards involved. We have a tandoor, and i live in scotts farm road so you know who I am. Now, yes I am a lazy person and it's easier to order and critics will say cook your own food. I wanted something quick. Actually, it's well cooked, a plus but flavor is rubbish.
