A Tuesday night in January so pretty quiet. The main reason for my visit was the 50% food discount offer. Lighting was quite low so I could barely read the menu (probably an age thing). Ordered a Cubano sandwich which was OK and friend ordered the roasted pork belly which she enjoyed.

Xmas meal,food very substandard,service poor,meals came out very different times,and cold!! Won't return even if it's free!!

Takes forever to get a drink at least 15 mins at bar to get served wasnt even that busy Food was ok but tbf had better for half the price elsewhere over rated place at over inflated prices

Party of 6 in there last night for about 20 mins, in that short space of time we saw 2 rats run across the floor at different times. Told staff and they laughed and said “we are by an alleyway”.

I had the pleasure of dining at Revolucion De Cuba Birmingham recently, and I wanted to take a moment to highlight the amazing service we received. We left the restaurant with full stomachs and big smiles. The team are a great asset to this company!

Had prebooked a table for drinks, when we arrived we were told we could only sit at bat stool type seating. One of our party has quite a serious leg condition, and not one of these seats was suitable or accessible. Our server was also abrupt and as soon as she realised we weren’t going to be spending a lot of money on food the friendliness dropped. I asked about the happy hour on the menu and was very bluntly told ‘we don’t do that in December’ as if I should have known this. I left my drink half drunk as it was just not a pleasant experience

Good atmosphere but the service can definitely be better.

We are currently here for a work Christmas drink. Bottomless brunch. The drinks are fabulous. The food amazing and the service from Emily and Shola has been out of this world. I've not received service so excellent ever. They're absolutely a credit to the company.

Attended a Xmas party at this location Staff were rude. Bouncers were next to useless, allowing two gatecrashers to wounder and mingle in our private party upstairs. I had to personally ask them to leave DJ was very good. But didn't have a glue who UB40 was ? Drinks very expensive .

Amazing food and atmosphere. Food and service was 10/10. Georgia took our order and she was very nice and polite.

Party of us had bottomless brunch and continued the night in here. Had a great time....picked up some body else's umbrella though so if you missing one and want it back, let me know - was on 7th Dec

Latino food tasted like Indian food, paella overcooked and super spicy, very noisy.

For Saturday afternoon the DJ played some decent music the cocktails are nice. Wasn't busy and went straight upstairs. Didn't eat

Had our work Christmas do here it is a lovely place for food and drinks and entertainment and to find out there was a 2nd floor WOW great dj and a chance to let your hair down big shout out to Dale (bar staff) nothing was to much trouble and exceptional service he kept the drinks coming ..I will definitely be visiting here again.

The bar was good, bar man dail was ace got to me fast even though it busy. Will be back!

I can not rate the bar staff here. Service was friendly and prompt. Dale was particularly helpful when I needed it. I will definitely return

Great atmosphere for bottomless brunch!

Food wasn't good. it took about 5 seconds to come out, which is never a good sign. We had 3 tapas dishes, Meatballs were really awful. Cocktails were nice, but I definitely wouldn't go again for the food.

Good service and great place wish we could have eaten here they have a fantastic vegan menu. The music and atmosphere is brilliant.

Food was delicious but the cocktails were terrible, ordered classic mojito which was served with a lemon slice instead of lime. Carribbean cream cocktail was supposed to be served with pineapple fruit but came without furthermore it wasn't even dressed as per menu picture.

had a red letter day gift voucher which I glad I did as I wouldn't have been happy paying full price. My partner and I went on a Saturday at 5pm. We waited 35 minutes for drinks and I'd asked twice where they were. The third time I asked was because food arrived and still no drinks. The lady I spoke to say 'we are busy' and I said I appreciate that but 35 min wait is unacceptable. Drinks arrived within 5 mins. We had cocktails which were small. Food was lovely but portions were small. We had 6 tapas dishes and were still hungry. When bill came it was wrong as they hadn't taken off voucher (even though I'd said at the start we had one) so another wait until this was sorted. I also asked them to take off the service tip as it definitely didn't warrant one. Understaffed and very slow service. Disappointing experience and wouldn't go there again or recommend.

My husband and I had an afternoon tea last Sunday (10th Nov) with cocktails, using a gift voucher. We had to cancel the first date, due to illness, but rebooking was easy, thanks to very pleasant and efficient office staff, in particular, Kayla. The food we were presented with by two pleasant serving staff was absolutely delicious! We thoroughly recommend and will return!

Not one I recommend, avoid. A party of 6 booked to attend the cocktail making class. Upon arrival it appeared that there had been some confusion regarding the booking and there was an issue with their system. Luckily, as we had booked this via email I had the email chain to show the staff member along with payment confirmation clearly showing the date and time. They went off to discuss this with the manager who after some time arrived with a piece of paper and explained (rather passive aggressively) that we weren’t on the list. We then reiterated the fact that we had the email chain and payment confirmation to prove our booking and that there must have a technical issue on their side. The manager then stormed off muttering foul language under his breath loud enough for us all to hear. On top of all this, we arrived at 13:50 for a 14:00 booking. At 14:30 we were still waiting for the first round of 6 drinks to be poured (in a very quiet bar), all of the staff members were aware of this but continued to start the cocktail making class meaning that we missed the introduction… Overall a very disappointing experience that was made worse by the lack of professionalism and appalling attitude from the manager. The group was very offended by the language used. There was not a single apology or any attempt to make things right though out the time spent there even though it was clear that the behaviour of the staff and the lack of service was totally unacceptable.

Booked a bottomless brunch an hour before!! The service was next level best bottomless in Birmingham they’re so attentive shantay was amazing, so welcoming and always ensuring we had a drink!! Highly recommend :) great options always

Tenía un vale de regalo de día de carta roja que me alegré de haber hecho, ya que no habría sido feliz pagando el precio completo. Mi pareja y yo fuimos un sábado a las 5 pm. Esperábamos 35 minutos para tomar unas copas y yo había preguntado dos veces dónde estaban. La tercera vez que pregunté fue porque la comida llegó y todavía no hay bebidas. La señora con la que hablé dijo "estamos ocupados" y dije que lo aprecio, pero 35 minutos de espera son inaceptables. Las bebidas llegaron en 5 minutos. Teníamos cócteles que eran pequeños. La comida era preciosa, pero las porciones eran pequeñas. Teníamos 6 platos de tapas y todavía tenía hambre. Cuando llegó la factura estaba mal, ya que no habían quitado el vale (aunque había dicho al principio que teníamos uno), así que otra espera hasta que esto se resolvió. También les pedí que quitaran la propina del servicio ya que definitivamente no lo justificaba. Servicio muy lento y con poco personal. Experiencia decepcionante y no volvería allí de nuevo o recomendar.

Shocking service - never coming back!

Un grupo de cuatro de nosotros hicimos su brunch sin fondo un sábado por la tarde / noche. El proceso de reserva fue genial, con el personal tomando nuestros pedidos de comida y respondiendo a nuestras preguntas. Llegamos y las primeras copas nos estaban esperando. La camarera era la muy atenta en tomar nuestros pedidos de bebidas y llegaron rápidamente. Había una buena elección de bebidas también. La comida llegó rápidamente y era genial, incluso las peticiones especiales enviadas por correo electrónico con respecto a la comida fueron atendidas. Luego fuimos a la otra habitación a bailar. Una noche perfecta y sin duda volvería.

We were a party of 6. When we arrived we were shown to a table of 4 but then told the booking was for 2. We had an email to confirm our booking and had, had a telephone call in the week also the confirm we could use a voucher for 2 where it states use you can use 7 day any time they didn’t want to accept this on the call After speaking to the lady who made out she didn’t remember this call we provided an email with her name on she suddenly remembered the call. As you can imagine we didn’t stay at the restaurant. The manager who I wasn’t convinced was the manager came out did nothing to resolve our issue. A big thank you to them for totally upsetting our day Also they said they had redeemed our voucher before we had even arrived at the restaurant. Never ever will we return to this restaurant

Lovely staff so helpful. Came on a tapas and cocktail deal, Had Aperol and mojito which were fab 🍸albondingas patatas bravas popcorn chicken corn ribs croquettes all absolutely delicious. Superb value and lovely food will definitely come back.

Prebooked meals for a Hen party, the bottomless brunch. Large group of family and friends, we arrived on time, were sent upstairs, left standing for 20 minutes, staff didn't know where our tables were. We were then directed downstairs, left standing again....then redirected back upstairs and given 1 table, other members of the group left standing. Then moved again and left standing....finally got 3 tables all away from each other. After 45 minutes of mayhem we got served a drink. Cocktails were barely recognisable as alcoholic drinks, and not what were ordered. We asked to cancel our food as we were left waiting so long. They told us it was on the way...when it did arrive it was cold, and all served at different times. Cheesy Cuban fries were disgusting, looked like vomit, dishes were missing items. I'm easily pleased, but sadly every element of service was disgraceful, not one single member of staff knew what was going on or even attempt to make an apology or offer to make amends. A truly negative experience for all the group and would definitely NOT recommend for a large group booking.

What a fantastic place to spend a chilled afternoon. Eating delicious Tapas and a couple of cocktails. The host was a true gentleman. He’s an credit to the establishment. Thank you. Will definitely return. A+

Disgusting. Lady behind bar making drinks, swinging long hair/braids about. One actually went in a customer’s drink! Her hair/braids/beads were touching loads of stuff they shouldn’t have been. Wouldn’t go back 🤮

Best bar I have been to in a long time. Nice atmosphere.

Walked in. Stood at the bar. Waitress was walking around doing very little, other than chatting to her friends at a table. Made no attempt to engage. No one behind the bar. After about 5 minutes I followed her and the noise of glasses. Bar man who was cleaning glasses was surprised to see me. He had clearly not been told there were 2 guests waiting. He rushed out and apologised. Not his fault. His service was friendly and helpful. But the waitress cost 3 stars.

Food was great. Music a little loud for us oldies. Service was a mix of table and bar depending on what you were after.

Was served hot in havana by suman last week, really good cocktail and pretty fast service even in the busy crowd. Loved it !!!

Great place for music, foods, abs drinks . Really enjoyed the place and atmosphere, not a long walk from the train station. Well priced too. Highly recommended to visit. This is a fabulous place the food is gorgeous great quality and plentiful very authentic, having tasted the food in Cuba I can honestly say it's lovely. Well worth a visit will certainly return.

The worst dj ever to exist was playing on saturday 22/09/24, please do not ever hire her again the crowd was dead the entire night. Possibly the worst night iv had in revs playing songs know one has ever heard. The only person enjoying the music was the dj herself, everyone else looked as if they were contemplating slitting their wrists

Booked for birthday celebrations and 45 minutes later had to ask for staff to take our order. Not very attentive, always had to ask for service. Food was lovely when it arrived Bill was wrong and had to wait for amendment. Disappointed 😞

Great atmosphere here as always, music is good, entertainment is always on fire. Food is sensational. Cannot recommend this place enough if you're in town!

So so so disappointed, i went to this venue to try a new bottomless brunch, we admittedly was 20 mins early so had no complaint when we was told to go to the bar and i will come grab you, so we got a drink and 10 mins after our brunch should had started we went to the host again to ask about our table being ready, considering we had seen multiple tables come in after us and be seated, who then turned around and looked at us like we was ghosts and said who and questioned what we meant as if she hadn’t told us 20 mins before to go to the bar and wait for her to grab us, we didn’t kick up a fuss as it could be a bad day, everyone has them, but then after being seated when we was 20 mins into a 90 min brunch and still hadn’t been greeted by a waiter at the table with a hello or a sorry i’ll be with you in a moment, we ended up losing our deposit and leaving due to a waste of our time and potential money, i wish i could say it was due to busyness but from the outside before walking in the only thing we had to way was oh no it looks empty in here for a saturday. i really wish it was a different experience because after paying multiple train fairs and uber fairs plus the deposit for brunch we left the place sober and disappointed considering we was so excited to try this brunch

It was Negroni week but got served a margarita ?!?!?! Great space but staff seemed a bit distracted. Food was quick but pretty average ... this was a wet Tuesday lunchtime but imagine it could be buzzing by the w/e.

Service was appalling. I attended with three friends for bottomless brunch on the 31st of August we arrived early and sat down. Then nobody came to the table for 20 minutes. We tried numerous times to get someone’s attention we finally did and we got asked ‘What do you want’ at this point we decided to get up and leave. The manger said I would receive my deposit back and I am still to hear back or receive my deposit. It wasn’t too busy in there so I don’t understand why we were treated this way. I really would not recommend and I will not be returning.

We visited this bar with friends for tapas and drinks. Tapas were ok, and the drinks were great. It's a good place to go with friends for a few drinks.

Food was nice, however someone in there kept laughing all the time. Rather annoying I thought.

Ok so where to start:- We arranged a bottomless brunch premium upgrade (£42.50 per person) and pre booked everything, including food. I did call and explain We would be 10 mins late; staff were fine with this which I really appreciate. We weren't seated until 20 mins after our arrival time which is fine but we weren't allowed to open the bottomless brunch drinks, so would've had to pay £13 for cocktails at the bar 😡 Pretty irritating but ok. Once seated, we weren't served for another 20 mins for any drinks (our bottomless brunch was a 90 minute slot so to some this would make a difference especially with the amount you pay!). We had to order 2 cocktails at a time because of how much the waiter was rushed seeing everyone and how little we saw them. We didn't get any food for over an hour either. I had to ask the waiter, who had to ask me again for our order slot, and by the time it came out, we had 10 minutes left to eat it 😡 The food itself was bad: I ordered a burrito bowl and my friend ordered a burger. My burrito bowl was a couple of mouthfuls of rice in a 7 inch raised plate and my friends burger looked like they had just gone to Macdonald's and put it on a different plate. Maybe rushed because they didn't realise we had pre-booked?Personally was just not happy. We felt pressured to order as many cocktails as possible to break even with the amount we paid for and the service was so slow 😔 The music for 4:30pm was EXTREMELY loud!!! It is a Saturday but both our ears were ringing and our voices were hoarse when we left at 6:45pm which we've never had before, even when clubbing on broad street. Don't recommend at all for tinnitus sufferers. Don't recommend for kids or teenagers. The cocktails themselves were nice but we would've definitely enjoyed them more after our food if it came earlier. The waiters were lovely but under an insane amount of pressure so I feel management have some explaining to do, especially with the music being so loud. The waiter got our cocktail orders wrong twice because they could not hear us, but we felt we couldn't say anything because it will be ANOTHER 20 mins waiting on cocktails 😡 We asked for the bill and requested the gratuity charge be taken off - I had to go through 3 staff to do this which overall took another 15 mins. You're better off going to Macdonald's.

Had such a great night here last night! Came on a first date and got talking to some girls in the toilets about it, one of them happened to work there, I believe the host, and she asked where I was sat and ended up bringing me and him complimentary shots! Such a lovely gesture and definitely will be coming back here again asap!

Had the afternoon tea and enjoyed it very much. Not a bad price as well.

Miss the banana drink they used to do

The food and and atmosphere were good. But I am giving them a 2 star because the “optional service charge” was added to the total bill before it is handed to us. Why is it optional if we have to start calling you back to explain the extra charge? I would expect the optional charge to be inserted after the total , and then we could be asked if we want to pay or not

Good meet up for friends who want good music and a good selection of drinks

Came for bottomless brunch after a really amazing experience here a couple of years back. Food was nice but not very hot and small portions. Three people on our table didn't receive their meals until everyone else had almost finished eating. I am sober and was served an alcoholic drink despite checking several times before ordering and again several times when I'd received the drink. I had drank almost half of what should have been a mocktail before the waitress ran over and told me not to drink it as she had mixed it up with an alcoholic version of my drink, so be careful if you are sober. Unfortunately I did not receive an apology for this, and this could be very dangerous if you have an allergy (which I do) or are a recovering alcoholic, for example. The live performer was brilliant, great selection of songs.

I went to rev de Cuba to watch the Euro final. Wasn't told on the booking that we had to call to book a table. However, the manager sorted us put a table as we had arrived early and they had a cancellation. The food was *chef's kiss*. The calamari and cocktails (strawberry daiquiri) were the standouts for me. I would definitely go back.

Popped in for Lunch after a recommendation. Currently have a Burger/Salad and a Drink deal for £8. Bargain. Plus the place was clean, staff were friendly and food was tasty.

Service and food is spot on. Very quiet on a Monday afternoon but would imagine it's a real lively place of a evening.

Was at revolution for a graduation celebration. Atmosphere was great until an individual working on the bar refused to pour us a FULL shot (what we paid for). Upon asking if she could top up our shot, said lady placed her hands on her hips and said “no”, same way your daughter would as if she’s 12 and just developed some attitude. Trying to find the light in the situation we laughed it off and calmly said we’ve already paid for 3 shots, you’ve just poured us 2 shots and spread it over 3 glasses. Said lady then proceeded to take the one of half poured shots away (which we’d already paid for) and run to security to complain one of us was taking photos of her (you’re in a public space even if i did take photos i’m well in my right). Security then come over to check my phone (not sure if that’s even allowed but i go along with it). All he finds on my phone is Pedro Neto compilations which he seemed to really enjoy watching (I don’t blame him). Anyways, this is besides the point, not happy with said woman please have a word. Throwing tantrums in a bar over drinks which aren’t coming out your own pocket is a very weird look indeed.

I can’t rate the food here as we didn’t eat but attended with a hen party here for a cocktail making master class which was brilliant! Ted was our bar staff for the session and he was great! Really friendly and had great communication skills with us all! The atmosphere was great and we all came away saying how much fun we had!

Food was excellent especially the paella. Strawberry daiquiri was very good. Service was a bit slow but it was quite busy.

First time here. Didn't eat so can't score. Only tried the cocktails. 2-1 Mon to Fri 3pm - 7pm and very nice too

We had a booking for a cocktail masterclass with Reece. Unfortunately, this was far from what we expected. Reece was more interested in serving other customers on the bar rather than continuing with our masterclass. We tried to have some banter as we have done before with other master classes and he was having none of it. I wouldn’t waste your time - we only had 2 cocktails and 1 shot. I would stick with revs vodka in the future. Waste of money if you get Reece as your host.

Found this place by accident as I'm not local to the area. Bar staff were friendly and the alcohol wasn't overpriced.

nice place but I think its genuinely too packed upstairs and takes 3-5 business days to get a drink at the bar, we went to the toilets and when we tried to go back in they said we couldn't come back in so we had to leave..

I had the Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad and it is one of the best I’ve ever had 😍. I also had the sangria and it was so good. Amazing staff aswell so friendly.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. Our server Shula ensured we were well looked after and added a surprise of a special dessert because it was our anniversary, what a charming young woman, a credit to the company. If you like tapas you will love this restaurant so do pay it a visit.

Paid a visit Saturday night - first the positives. The waitress was excellent, the cocktails great Now the negatives the food was way below par. While we were late most items were off the menu, simple close the kitchen earlier if you cant sort yourselves out and provide a better service, when it arrived it felt like the food had been thrown together. The Tacos tasted like they had been marinated in fairy washing up liquid, indeed one bite and the amount of liquid that poured out covered my plate. I can only assume/hope an earlier visit would have yielded better results

I used to really like this place and never had any complaints but recently it has been a huge disappointment. We came for late lunch/early dinner and let server know we have a meerkat discount, however, upon paying, we realised there was barely any discount applied since the small dishes were calculated as separate instead of suggested 5 for £30 on the menu. What was most frustrating is that server knew about our discount and when taking order, did not make us aware of the discount not working when taking 5 for £30 as if it’s some special offer (and i did point out on the menu we wanted 5 tapas for £30). If that is indeed a ‘special offer’ then the server should have let us know, and we would have ordered different dishes. Moreover, the food was not good either- portions very tiny, food dry and bland. We never had such experience at this restaurant before. In the end, we felt we really overpaid and ended up being hungry after finishing our food, that led us going back home to cook and have a proper dinner! Absolute waste of money… and such a shame, since we really did enjoy Revolución de Cuba before, and seems that a lot of things changed there, only for worse.
