Good choice of tapas, attentive staff especially Chloe, reasonable prices, although food cooked to order wait was minimal.

Ok so where to start:- We arranged a bottomless brunch premium upgrade (£42.50 per person) and pre booked everything, including food. I did call and explain We would be 10 mins late; staff were fine with this which I really appreciate. We weren't seated until 20 mins after our arrival time which is fine but we weren't allowed to open the bottomless brunch drinks, so would've had to pay £13 for cocktails at the bar 😡 Pretty irritating but ok. Once seated, we weren't served for another 20 mins for any drinks (our bottomless brunch was a 90 minute slot so to some this would make a difference especially with the amount you pay!). We had to order 2 cocktails at a time because of how much the waiter was rushed seeing everyone and how little we saw them. We didn't get any food for over an hour either. I had to ask the waiter, who had to ask me again for our order slot, and by the time it came out, we had 10 minutes left to eat it 😡 The food itself was bad: I ordered a burrito bowl and my friend ordered a burger. My burrito bowl was a couple of mouthfuls of rice in a 7 inch raised plate and my friends burger looked like they had just gone to Macdonald's and put it on a different plate. Maybe rushed because they didn't realise we had pre-booked?Personally was just not happy. We felt pressured to order as many cocktails as possible to break even with the amount we paid for and the service was so slow 😔 The music for 4:30pm was EXTREMELY loud!!! It is a Saturday but both our ears were ringing and our voices were hoarse when we left at 6:45pm which we've never had before, even when clubbing on broad street. Don't recommend at all for tinnitus sufferers. Don't recommend for kids or teenagers. The cocktails themselves were nice but we would've definitely enjoyed them more after our food if it came earlier. The waiters were lovely but under an insane amount of pressure so I feel management have some explaining to do, especially with the music being so loud. The waiter got our cocktail orders wrong twice because they could not hear us, but we felt we couldn't say anything because it will be ANOTHER 20 mins waiting on cocktails 😡 We asked for the bill and requested the gratuity charge be taken off - I had to go through 3 staff to do this which overall took another 15 mins. You're better off going to Macdonald's.

Had such a great night here last night! Came on a first date and got talking to some girls in the toilets about it, one of them happened to work there, I believe the host, and she asked where I was sat and ended up bringing me and him complimentary shots! Such a lovely gesture and definitely will be coming back here again asap!

Had the afternoon tea and enjoyed it very much. Not a bad price as well.

The food and and atmosphere were good. But I am giving them a 2 star because the “optional service charge” was added to the total bill before it is handed to us. Why is it optional if we have to start calling you back to explain the extra charge? I would expect the optional charge to be inserted after the total , and then we could be asked if we want to pay or not

Good meet up for friends who want good music and a good selection of drinks

Came for bottomless brunch after a really amazing experience here a couple of years back. Food was nice but not very hot and small portions. Three people on our table didn't receive their meals until everyone else had almost finished eating. I am sober and was served an alcoholic drink despite checking several times before ordering and again several times when I'd received the drink. I had drank almost half of what should have been a mocktail before the waitress ran over and told me not to drink it as she had mixed it up with an alcoholic version of my drink, so be careful if you are sober. Unfortunately I did not receive an apology for this, and this could be very dangerous if you have an allergy (which I do) or are a recovering alcoholic, for example. The live performer was brilliant, great selection of songs.

I went to rev de Cuba to watch the Euro final. Wasn't told on the booking that we had to call to book a table. However, the manager sorted us put a table as we had arrived early and they had a cancellation. The food was *chef's kiss*. The calamari and cocktails (strawberry daiquiri) were the standouts for me. I would definitely go back.

Popped in for Lunch after a recommendation. Currently have a Burger/Salad and a Drink deal for £8. Bargain. Plus the place was clean, staff were friendly and food was tasty.

Service and food is spot on. Very quiet on a Monday afternoon but would imagine it's a real lively place of a evening.

Was at revolution for a graduation celebration. Atmosphere was great until an individual working on the bar refused to pour us a FULL shot (what we paid for). Upon asking if she could top up our shot, said lady placed her hands on her hips and said “no”, same way your daughter would as if she’s 12 and just developed some attitude. Trying to find the light in the situation we laughed it off and calmly said we’ve already paid for 3 shots, you’ve just poured us 2 shots and spread it over 3 glasses. Said lady then proceeded to take the one of half poured shots away (which we’d already paid for) and run to security to complain one of us was taking photos of her (you’re in a public space even if i did take photos i’m well in my right). Security then come over to check my phone (not sure if that’s even allowed but i go along with it). All he finds on my phone is Pedro Neto compilations which he seemed to really enjoy watching (I don’t blame him). Anyways, this is besides the point, not happy with said woman please have a word. Throwing tantrums in a bar over drinks which aren’t coming out your own pocket is a very weird look indeed.

I can’t rate the food here as we didn’t eat but attended with a hen party here for a cocktail making master class which was brilliant! Ted was our bar staff for the session and he was great! Really friendly and had great communication skills with us all! The atmosphere was great and we all came away saying how much fun we had!

Food was excellent especially the paella. Strawberry daiquiri was very good. Service was a bit slow but it was quite busy.

Helpful friendly staff good ambience

We had a booking for a cocktail masterclass with Reece. Unfortunately, this was far from what we expected. Reece was more interested in serving other customers on the bar rather than continuing with our masterclass. We tried to have some banter as we have done before with other master classes and he was having none of it. I wouldn’t waste your time - we only had 2 cocktails and 1 shot. I would stick with revs vodka in the future. Waste of money if you get Reece as your host.

I had the Cajun Chicken Caesar Salad and it is one of the best I’ve ever had 😍. I also had the sangria and it was so good. Amazing staff aswell so friendly.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary. Our server Shula ensured we were well looked after and added a surprise of a special dessert because it was our anniversary, what a charming young woman, a credit to the company. If you like tapas you will love this restaurant so do pay it a visit.

Paid a visit Saturday night - first the positives. The waitress was excellent, the cocktails great Now the negatives the food was way below par. While we were late most items were off the menu, simple close the kitchen earlier if you cant sort yourselves out and provide a better service, when it arrived it felt like the food had been thrown together. The Tacos tasted like they had been marinated in fairy washing up liquid, indeed one bite and the amount of liquid that poured out covered my plate. I can only assume/hope an earlier visit would have yielded better results

Nice drinks. Good party upstair. We didn’t eat there but looked delicious. Problem - music - music should be Latino/Cuba etc. But was something like a house mixed with clubbing. The guys who play in instruments- they play only outside - they should do this also inside because its great. People not just be leave from restaurant to see them.

We had a booking here on Friday at 5pm. We were running around 15 min late and they were really accommodating. We were seated really quickly and the food was amazing. Our personal favourites were the pork belly and the ginger beer chicken quesadilla. I ordered a Madri however it was never delivered to me and I was unfortunately charged for it until I had pointed out as I was about to pay. A really good experience unfortunately let down by poor customer service.

Visited here with some colleagues from the Midlands after a nice company luncheon at Las Iguanas. It was a dreadful mistake. It was excruciatingly loud and there was no place to sit. It would've been better not to let us in. Much pushing and shoving occurred and I couldn't hear myself think let alone what my colleagues or Manager were saying. The Manager seemed to be out of her depth and overwhelmed when confronted and I don't blame her. The people above her shouldn't place all that stress on her shoulders. So all of this is on them.

Food and service was awful. All food took ages and was cold or inedible when it finally arrived. Will never attend again or recommend to anyone. Response, I doubt that any reply will make a difference to how you run your business as I note that reviews from 5 months ago reflect my experience. Eg the pork skewers were pure fat with no meat. Yet you are still using the same supplier! 1, Type of booking (walk in, reservation, brunch, tapas feasting) It was a reservation made in the name of Yvonne. We were there on 17/04/2024, at 16:30 hours. There were 8 of us ordering 3 tapas each for £10. We all purchased various drinks. I purchased a bottle of red wine which was £20.50, however it was cheap nasty wine and a complete waste of money. Location within restaurant as best you can. Large front table by the window. food/drink ordered as best you can remember. As above, everyone was ordering various drinks like cocktails, gin, wine etc…

We had afternoon tea here a few weeks ago and the food was terrible. We sent it back because the chicken was cold when they brought it back out half of it was missing. It was also extremely quiet in here meaning the atmosphere was pretty dull. We won’t be returning

We visited today for the very first time. We went because family had bought us a gift voucher through BuyAGift for Christmas which allowed us to book the afternoon tea with cocktails. We got married a couple of days ago & thought this would be the perfect treat. We traveled 50 minutes as this was the closest restaurant to us & unfortunately wish we hadn’t. The chicken skewers were so dry & flaky. The patatas bravas were raw. Several times I bit into crunchy cold potato. When the cheesecake came out, I thought it was rice pudding. It did not look appetising in the slightest. The churros were okay but the caramel sauce was watery & horrible. The only saving grace was the beef enchiladas & the croquettes. We ended up leaving a lot of it. The floor downstairs where the toilets are was also extremely sticky. Our first time at this restaurant & based on our experience today, we won’t be returning.

Great food, great wine, great service, but the music - not remotely Cuban or Latino which we expected as the environment emanates a Havana bar, just pop music, then Afro beats which was better but still not Cuban. Interestingly the music out front was Latin, then downhill inside. I love this place but just wish the experience was more authentic, salsa and regaeton would fit.

More of a pub than a restaurant. Food was fairly low quality, guacamole seemed to be out of a bottle. Cheese seemed like liquid cheese rather than proper melted cheese on the Nachos. Played very loud music even though no one was really in there. Suitable for after work drinks where you don't care what you are eating but wouldn't recommend for a dinner out. Seems more geared around happy hour drinking

Great vibe, but unfortunately they scam every payment. The drinks changed price depending on who served you at the bar, there was a lad serving who purposely overcharged people and he appeared to find this funny. Luckily my friends and I quickly clocked this, and then checked every time. I’m not bothered about the price of drinks but I am bothered about being overcharged for drinks, or being charged for drinks we didn’t order/receive. My friends ordered 2 tequilas and he TRIED to charge £21.45, and once this was pointed out, he corrected the price. He also TRIED to charge £41.95 for 2 double vodka diet cokes, and I ordered one double absolute vodka Diet Coke, which was apparently £26, until pointed out and then the price was £6.45. Just disgusting. We went into Manahatta afterwards where the double vodka diet cokes were £12.80 and the price didn’t change all night, yes they’re expensive but they own it. Just to add this was at the start of the night so no we weren’t drunk, probably why we noticed it. I would change this quite quickly before people catch on.

Table booked for early Saturday evening but hardly any food available on menu. Half of our order was not available. Wasn't notified of the food unavailable until after the order was placed. staff to busy chatting at entrance.

This used to be one of our favourite places to drink and dine in Birmingham but oh dear not any more. We booked a table and were seated and then everything rapidly went downhill. Although there were staff no-one came to take our order and we had to use the table app to order drinks. Drinks delivered eventually and we proceed to order food only to find a lot of items not available but not to be put off we ordered alternatives as we enjoy sharing tapas. However we tried to use a '3 tapas for £10' offer only to be told we weren't on their system and we couldn't use the offer despite showing 3 emails confirming our booking and Revolucion looking forward to seeing us! After many discussions and staff huddles management decided to honour the voucher offer. To make amends we were given a flight of shots which were appreciated but didn't really make up for the complete fiasco the evening turned out to be.

Food was very poor. A lot of vinegar was in the sauce that the chicken was covered in. None of us finished our meals we were very disappointed. Music downstairs was too loud we had to shout to be heard across the table - ridiculous. Really not sure what is Cuban about this place - don't go if you want a Cuban experience

Enjoyed a premium in bottomless brunch. It’s worth paying the little bit extra for the additional cocktails you can try. Drinks wise 4*. The cocktails were lovely with lots of variety. They kept coming too, we found the staff really attentive despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon. The food was meh and this is what drops the score. The portions were tiny and we had to order a side of chips to make it more substantial, however, avoid the cheesy chips as they were just soaked in liquid type American cheese 🤢 It was noisy but there was a nice vibe. Not the best bottomless brunch I’ve had but enjoyable non the less.

5 of us visited as a family for 50% off food and 2 for £10 cocktails which was great value. The food was good for 50% off, but the enchilada was a small portion so it would not have been worth the money at full price. Unfortunately the service for drinks was very slow, the bar was understaffed and it took a while for them to make cocktails. We felt bad for the staff because there was not enough of them to do everything. Overall we enjoyed our food and drink for a worthwhile price, but the experience would have been better if they had more staff.

Late post but like to share my experience. We were a group of friends around 8 of us dined on a Tuesday evening for a get together. The food was good . We ordered some tacos , spicy burger and salads as well. The drinks were good too. They have this offer 1+1 which is great deal . but the service was lacking as we waited for half an hour to order ( I believe short of staff on a weekday) . Need to improvise on the quality of service . It’s a great place to meet and chat with your loved ones.

We pre booked a bottomless brunch for my mother in laws birthday and paid £400 upfront. When we got there, it seemed very chaotic. When we were seated, it took 40 minutes for our first round of drinks to come of which our food then started to be served. Three of our 10 meals were wrong, and then toom double the time to come out. Although the staff managed to turn it around by the end of our evening, it wasn't a good start to our night. Considering we had paid upfront and spent more money whilst there, we were not very happy.

Great location not far from New Street Station. All of the food was well made, presented and tasted great. There were vegetarian options. Wide variety of dishes. A good selection of cocktails. Live music. A dance floor upstairs for when you have finished your food.

LOVED the music and fabulous atmosphere - and our server, Charlotte, was fantastic! She was patient as we asked loads of questions about different dishes and even surprised our Birthday Girl with sparklers! Overall, a fabulous night out.

Great place, but they need to change the name, if you are looking for Havan vibes or latin you will be disappointed, unless its on latin night days ....lol. The people working there are friendly. If they change the name it will be better reflection of what they offer. On the positive side, the drinks and food is cuban inspired. The music not so much...but great RnB, Hip Hope and commercial.

One of the cocktails had a fairly large black bead or something similar in it. I informed the manager who then went to see the person who made it. Imagine my surprise when I observed her tip the same cocktail into the mixer. I called out to stop her & only then did she make a fresh one!! Absolutely disgusting...no apology offered either. I won't attend there again...bottle's on display covered in dust..not impressive 👎

Just called in to have some food on our way home after a day out. Ordered with the waitress, no issues at all. She informed us that the cocktails are 2 for £10. So we ordered 2 the same as instructed. We then order food again with the waitress, no problem at all. My partner went to use the bathroom, while he was away a member of staff, which later we learnt was the manager brought the drinks across and slammed them onto the table both on the opposite side to where I was sitting and walked away. No interaction at all. Our food then arrived, my paella wasn't too bad. However, my partners burger is not so good. The bun was like a rock, really stale. To the point it wouldn't even press down. We called the waitress across, and she apologised and took it away to get a replacement. A replacement then came to the table. Which turned out to be exactly the same burger, but they had just put the bun in the microwave to soften it up. It was still rock hard, so we called the waitress over again and asked for the manager. Well, that's when it went downhill and just got worse. Poor apology was given, not really accepting it wasn't good enough. Then he tried to sort the bill, his words. He brought the bill over, saying I've taken the burger off your bill and taken 50% off my meal. We said that we already had 50% off with the January offer. The drinks offer hadn't been honoured as stated either. His attitude then took a turn for the worse. It went downhill and said, " Well, that's all I can do." Then he walked away. We waited 10 minutes, expecting him to return. We then saw him on the other side of the restaurant clearing tables. I had to call the waitress over again and asked if the general manager was available, to be told it was just Isreal working. We explained what had happened and said that it wasn't her fault, but his attitude and demeanour were disgraceful and verging on homophobia. I was ready to walk away without paying any of the bill, never mind what he wanted. One of our favourite places to visit and enjoy has been tarred really badly by exceptionally poor attitude and service. It's such a shame.

Reserved table for 19:30 for 4 people. Arrived promptly at 19:30 and sat down. Waited a long time for initial service, to the point where we actually asked if we were meant to order at the bar. Ordered some Nachos to share to start and some tapas and a couple of other things for mains along with cocktails. Nachos we received seemed to be the dregs of a bag, not a single whole tortilla chip to be found. The strawberry daiquiri was completely undrinkable through a paper straw, ended up having to wait for it to melt, luckily I had plenty ot time to wait for this to happen as we didn't receive any our main food until 9pm. The menu said that tapas would come out as it was ready, so when it all turned up at once it seemed a bit odd. What was even more odd was that everything that arrived was cold, the waitress offered to get some hot food, but we had been waiting for so long that we ate what we could, paid and left. Would not recommend or return.

Just awful awful music, upstairs inbthe Havannah bar. Full of desperados wasted and just shocking music. The carnival dancers were awful too- costumes looked cheap and tacky and they danced about 30 seconds before walking around. You guys need to actually visit Alma De Cuba in Liverpool and get their dancers to teach yours!!! The security guards are hyped up SAS wannabes too. You have that amazing space upstairs and choose to ruin it. It was my birthday when we came and we left after 1 drink because it was so dire- not even one song worth dancing to

Absolutely awful evening. Service was terrible - nothing came out on time. With family from New Zealand and came here as previous visits (for cocktails only) had been fantastic. Complained to the manager who refunded two of the meals but tbh this was unsatisfactory. Will not come here again. Such a shame. .

Awful experience this evening. Booked a table for 6 - had family visiting from New Zealand. All the food came out at different times - we only ordered one course each. Complained to the manager who took two dishes off the bill. Apologised for skeleton staff but didn’t offer a complementary drink or anything else after such an abysmal meal. I am not one to complain but I was fuming.

Yea, it's a place on temple street with a Cuban theme. Wasn't great wasn't terrible. Although good service during private party.

I have been to this place a number of times but won't be visiting again. On one booked a meal and it took 20 mins for someone to take our order. Constantly trying to get a waiters attention. Then they bought out the wrong food and had to wait over 45 mins for it to be replaced. Yesterday went through Havana club entrance to see someone sitting there with a cash register. When we got in, we bought drinks in the restaurant area and wre refused entry to the upstairs. We watched the door men let in black people and some white people. They refused entry to every single Asian person including my party. They told us to go outside and queue again. What with drinks in our hands?! Disgusting service not to mention their DJ's on the last few occasions have been young kids with no talent and unable to blend and mix music.

Very pleasant lunch, food really nice

Ridiculously loud music. Basically like eating in a disco. We couldn't hear each other without almost shouting. We'd pre-booked for a birthday celebration and paid in advance otherwise would have left straight away - as another couple did. In hindsight, they should have comped us the meal as they made a mistake taking our booking for that evening.

Good was good. But could have done with a little more

This place is very lively so be prepared, the food is very good but did expect chips with our burger and had to order them after our food came so be aware, I have to say the best thing about the day was being served by Marcus, what a star!, he is polite, attentive and very efficient, really made it a great experience - you need to hold on to him :)
