What a lovely lovely place ! The atmosphere was 10/10 and cosy room and decor makes the place ! The service was beautiful and the girls working were very friendly! The food was outstanding. They made my birthday dinner beautifully ! Highly highly recommend! The scallops were incredible 👌🏼

Came to petersfield last week to celebrate a friends birthday at Restaurant Six, Service was incredible and extremely helpful, Had the fillet steak and it did not disappoint, all food was so amazing and we will be returning in the future.

Was going to Petersfield for a totally different reason. Surprised my partner with a spontaneous lunch time meal. Found this awesome restaurant with outstanding food. The food was fresh with quality ingredients. Anastasila was very accommodating. Go give this place a try, you wont be disappointed.

We stopped by for Saturday lunch whilst we were in the area and the food and service were somewhat mixed. Between the two of us, we shared the scallops and cured monkfish for starters (both nice and well presented), the mushroom and spinach risotto (great flavour) and the lamb chops (these were dry and disappointing considering they cost £29 for two small chops) and tomato salad as a side (this was ok and probably wasn't necessary). The service was also not super attentive or warm.

Amazing food, wine and service. We had the 5 course tasting menu with wine flight and each dish was absolutely delicious. I didn’t want it to end even though I was very full by the end. Can’t wait to return, my new favourite place to eat! Thank you

Came here yesterday for our wedding anniversary. Decided to have something special so we went for the sixperience. So glad we did! I'm a Chef and I can tell you for experience that it takes a lot of knowledge and talent to create such a menu. The prep needed for these dishes requires a lot of time and precision. Everything was perfectly cooked, and the flavour of every dish was so unique, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious! The dessert course wasn't my favourite. It was a simplified version of a banoffee pie. If you like it, you'll enjoy this (my husband did). For me, that I'm not a fan of banana or very sweet pudding, wasn't my cup of tea. Staff were so attentive and everything was just right. Well worth every penny! Thank you for making our 20 years anniversary an evening to remember!

We decided on the Sixperience Evening menu (basically a 5 course tasting menu) for £48 per head and were very pleased we did! Scallops, chicken liver parfait, cod loin, duck breast and finally chocolate tort. Every course was beautifully prepared - and the portions appropriate for a five course experience. The service was excellent. There are plenty of other options for people wanting fewer courses. The building is quite small so dining is over 2 floors, creating an intimate atmosphere in this old building. Strongly recommended!

We went for a late decision dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is cosy and welcoming the staff enthusiastic and cheerful. The food is simply amazing, a husband and wife team, creating beautiful dishes. They clearly love what they do. We had the scallops (divine), cod and chicken Kiev for main course. I would highly recommend restaurant 6 - without doubt Petersfield’s finest restaurant.

We tried this new restaurant out for lunch one day and greatly enjoyed the experience. It's a great culinary asset to Petersfield and our only hope is that a small Hampshire town like Petersfield will be able to sustain a restaurant of this high quality going forward.

A most enjoyable dining experience. The food was delicious - the duck most tender combined with accompanying, well suited flavours. The service was impeccable but had difficulty sometimes in hearing the service staff sometimes due to the echoing voices of fellow diners. It was our anniversary and we received thoughtful ‘tit bits’. We will definitely recommend.

Fabulous tasting menu, each course kept getting better. The wine pairing with it was very nice. With notice they were able to adapt for my allergies and it was fabulous food. Staff were so helpful and charming. They obviously have a passion for their food. Lovely cosy setting in an old building. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant in the middle of Petersfield. The special tasting menu available on Wednesday and Thursday is top, top quality. Service is excellent and the restaurant is small and cosy with a really warm, welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to visit again. Thoroughly recommended!

Our favourite restaurant in Petersfield for special occasions. Expensive but we think it's worth it - tasty food, good selection of wines, intimate and cosy environment.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to. The service is amazing and it is so quiet and intimate. The food was also incredible and there is a great wine list. Couldn’t fault this place, would definitely go back.

Myself and five friends visited for my friends 50th birthday in March 2024. Whilst the food was delicious, albeit tiny portions, we found the ambience and service lacking. As we entered the building we had to jump over a huge puddle right in front of the door. As we did, three of us cracked our heads on the beam above the door. Im only 5’7”! Two young waitresses were stood inside and watched as we all entered clutching our heads. They said nothing!! Not a great start. The waiting staff were very young and it felt like they were not experienced. The restaurant was chilly and we were sat close to another table. There isn’t room to swing a cat. Nowhere to hang coats except the back of your chair. The food is nice but I won’t be going back. For the price we paid I would rather go somewhere more professional with good atmosphere like the Ivy.

We had a big family birthday and booked the lunchtime tasting menu. We had vegetarian and gluten+dairy sensitive diners and I was much impressed with the thought that had gone into their adapted menus, which in no way detracted from the delicious dining experience for everyone. It felt a real treat and I would visit again in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely intimate restaurant with delicate well cooked and presented food. Service staff were friendly and informal but knowledgeable about the food. We had the lunch time tasting menu. This is my second time here and this was as good as the first. Will return again without hesitation.

Pleasant experience, our first time here. Very nice atmosphere and husband and wife chef owners are doing a fantastic job. We had 3 starters and 2 mains, bottle of house wine for £110 include service. It’s not cheap but you do in my opinion get exactly what you are paying for.

First time at this restaurant and the reputation did not disappoint at all. We came for the a la carte menu for dinner and the food was probably the best I’ve had locally, everything looked so beautiful and tasted amazing. We were super impressed! The venue is gorgeous, such an intimate feel and cosy atmosphere with candles everywhere. Really nice to see the original features of the building on show too! The service was great, every member of the team was so friendly and familiar but not pushy at all, they knew what we needed from them. Would definitely come back here to try their sixperience and more desserts!

We had high expectations having searched for a fine dining restaurant north of Emsworth for several years… we weren’t disappointed. A beautiful building, tasteful decor, warm welcome and exciting menu. Three courses later we left looking forward to a return visit convinced Emsworth now has competition.

I was lucky enough to win a voucher for this restaurant in a charity raffle. We thought we would visit when they had their Christmas menu. It was such a warm welcoming atmosphere. Although it’s a small venue we weren’t disturbed by other diners. The service was very personal with all the dishes explained and beautifully presented. The food was absolutely delicious and a real dining experience. We feel so privileged to have this on our doorstep and if it wasn’t for winning the voucher we may not have got to experience it and now we will definitely visit again for special occasions.

Another amazing lunch and experience. Okay, maybe we were spoilt (in a wonderful way) by having the place almost to ourselves on a Saturday lunchtime, 18th Nov. But, the food and service was excellent. Petersfield should be very proud of Number 6 and make the most of it. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful evening last night as a group of 8. The five course menu was delicious and beautifully presented. Wine very reasonably priced and can recommend the Argentinian malbec. The service was attentive and friendly. Well worth a visit and we will be back!

Great restaurant , food is great, as is the service. only slight criticism would be the lamb was a little chewy and was lacking flavour. Just the lamb , the rest of the dish was lovely. Lamb was cooked well though (rare) It was loin ,so obviously doesn't have flavour of Shoulder etc, But just seemed a bit average! No fault in the cooking basically, just more my choice really.....will definitely go back.

We just had an absolutely delicious lunch here. I had baby squid which was seasoned to perfection and a big portion. My husband had scallops which were sensational. All our food was really excellent and much better than other restaurants of this type and definitely things I would never be able to make it home.

Definitely one of a small handful of excellent restaurants in the area. We've eaten here twice and had an excellent meal both times: creative, interesting food prepared excellently. I only deduct one star for ambience because if you are next to a large group table upstairs, it gets quite noisy, as happened to us once.
