Restaurant in BEST WESTERN Beachcroft Hotel in Arun

Stayed at the beachcroft for a 4 night mini break. Had breakfast in the restaurant every morning which was fabulous! Also one evening meal which was also lovely.

After last years nor too good Valentines evening, we were a bit apprehensive, but with the return of Alexis Twine, it was enough to make this a tremendous evening. The Beachcroft got everything spot on, the food as usual was excellent and the entertainment from Alexis was superb, even the disco was very good, as this year he managed to pick the type of music to suit the audience, something he hasn't managed to do in previous years. Finally a really nice touch was the Red rose given to all of the Ladies, which everyone thought was very thoughtful. It was a really enjoyable evening with the friendly and helpful staff adding to the evening. We did feel sorry for the Beachcroft that there were not more people to enjoy this excellent evening, as it deserved a bigger attendance, perhaps the Hotel can up their publicity next year, as there were some of our friends that said that the would have liked to come but didn't know about it. We just hope that the Hotel is not put off and we can come again next year, (with a few visits in between of course).

Having been for afternoon tea many times before and always enjoyed it, we booked again. Firstly, we were really disappointed to be told we couldn’t have it out on the terrace (always had before), new company policy apparently-watched all other food being eaten outside so no idea why afternoon tea has to be eaten inside? When it arrived there were 3 finger sandwiches each (anywhere else we have been at least 5 choices)! The staff were inattentive and in the 2 hours we were there checked on us once! When we left and asked for boxes to take away the cake that was left the waiter was quite rude. It’s such a shame as we have used the hotel for lots of occasions but will not be going back in a hurry

Just got home from a lovely meal . Mark , our waiter was absolutely wonderful, he dealt with all our dietary requests with a smile - nothing was too much! Lovely , calm , serene ambience. Food was well cooked and delicious! Highly recommend.

I went here as a surprise from my family for Father's Day Afternoon Tea. My wife booked a pod on the patio area. On arrival we were advised to go up to the pod, it was all set up ready for us and she would get her colleague to come out to meet us. We walked out the patio area to find the Pod had no seats, no table and wasn't prepared for us. My wife went back in to reception and soon returned telling us, it was closed because it was raining... and said we would have been advised this on the booking email. Nothing was mentioned on the email about this information. We were then advised we could have out Afternoon Tea in the restaurant. We went in to the restaurant and were then told we weren't allowed in the restaurant and were showed to a table in the bar ... The table coverings were plastic and it felt like nothing special at all. So we got a refund. Very poor communication between staff and didn't seemed to know what was going on for their establishment. We heard another couple always voicing concerns about their booking , so we left....and drove 1 hour back home. If we knew about the weather problems with the use of the pod. We wouldn't have booked it ..... Waste of a Father's Day outing. Shocking, really.

We visited the Beachcroft Valentines evening for the first time in three years due to the pandemic, and it was a very enjoyable evening. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. We were disappointed to find that the usual singer Alexis was missing, as she was superb and really made the evenings. Her replacement did his best but the music was depressing and not really in keeping with this type of event. One really nice thing that was carried over from previous years was the presentation of a red rose to the Ladies, which everyone appreciated.

I book a table for three people on the Sunday before Christmas and was subjected to the worst ever dining experience. The hotel advertised a warm welcome with a glass of mulled wine. Never saw it. My partner and I were taking our friend a 96 year old lady for a special lunch which had been paid for by her daughter,who resides in the USA, A voucher for £150 hadbeen sent We were told we would have to spend it all in one go as this had not been bought direct from the hotel. When we arrived at 1230hrs there was not another person in the restaurant only staff and it remained like that until we left at1450hrs There was no heating on and it was cold. I can only describe the food as left overs from days before. It was disgraceful. As we had to spend the whole £150 I ordered a bottle of champagne which came in a bucket of water but it was drinkable. All in all it was a disastrous experience and one that I would not wish upon my worst enemy.

We visited this lovely beach side Outdoor terrace for dinner … afterwards my car decided to conveniently breakdown in the car park … we were there for over 3 hours and the staff Cade, Beth and Shanie went out of their way to help us . They moved us into the warm gave us coffee on the house and cake . My 80 year old Mum and I were so so grateful they really looked after us We were still there from 7pm till after 11 pm What super service. Thank you all so much …. Gorgeous location great food and super helpful efficient staff

Staying at the Beachcroft Hotel for a short break I was surprised and delighted at the high quality of the food and the enthusiasm of the well trained and professional staff. Dinner was exceptional and breakfasts had a wide choice of items, some of which were locally sourced, and all were well cooked, beautifully presented and delicious! It was lovely to be served instead of having a breakfast buffet and nothing was too much trouble.

We were guests in the Beachcroft Hotel and chose to eat one evening in the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. They cater extremely well for all dietary requirements, especially gluten free guests.

Delighted to be able to take our dog Teddy for dinner here and our waiter Perry made special arrangements for us to sit away from other visiting dogs. He even provided dog bowl and treats! Lovely meal also.

Wow! We had a lovely time here for my friends birthday. Such an amazing meal, very tasty and all cooked perfectly. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Our waitress, Courtney was lovely. A great atmosphere and we would highly recommend. Thanks so much Beachcroft ….will be returning!

this is the 3rd year that we have used the beachcroft and sadly the worst meal my husband and at least two others had confit duck and the sauce was far too salty the carrots were overcooked sprouts were hard and two if our party main course was at least 10 minutes after everyone else very sorry but won't be coming back

We visited the Beachcroft Restaurant with friends to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. They had visited two days earlier and found it excellent. However, their booking for our evening seems to have got lost. After a wait they managed to seat us in the restaurant itself. We all had starters which were very good. We asked the young waitress if we could have more bread and were told that we could. However, after visiting the kitchen the girl said it would take a bit more time. It never arrived. Then the trouble really started. Four of our party of six ordered sea bass, and were not told of any issue at the time of ordering. The maitre d' eventually came and told us that the sea bass was no longer available so we had to order different choices. I chose the lamb which was good, but a bit fatty for my taste. We then ordered desserts. Three of us ordered the cheesecake. After a while the maitre d' arrived to inform us that there were only 2 cheesecakes available. I then chose the pear in mulled wine as an alternative. Everybody else was served their desserts but mine did not arrive. The young waitress got quite shirty when I enquired about it for the second time. When it arrived it was tasteless. It did not taste as if it had been poached in the mulled wine sauce at all. I can only assume it was removed from a tin and had the sauce poured over it without any poaching at all. Overall, a very disappointing meal.

We have stayed at the Beachcroft Hotel on several occasions and used their Tamarisk Restaurant for both breakfast and lunch innumerable times. The breakfasts are well cooked, well presented and very filling. The evening meals are varied, tasty and satisfying. But, as with the hotel itself, it is the great staff that makes this restaurant our “go to” for meals. Thanks guys, keep up your very high standard. See you in November. Peter & Jean. 😁

We were staying at the Beachcroft Hotel to celebrate an Anniversary and thought we would try a meal in their Tamarisk Restaurant and the food was so good and well presented that we decided to have our Anniversary meal there the next day and we were so pleased we did as once again the food was excellent . We would highly recommend this restaurant even if you are not staying at the Hotel as it is well worth a visit. We also had Breakfast there and it was served by friendly staff and again very good and nicely presented.

Our 2 day break in early October was really enjoyable.The hotel had everything organised to perfection in distancing,cleaning etc. Staff were really helpful,and the food was to die for.The breakfast was so good that myself and my wife decided that rather than eat out we would dine at the hotel.Food was again top notch.Hope that they look after the chef. We also managed to book a 30 minute session in the indoor pool. Alan Parsons

Stayed in the beachcroft beach huts (which are absolutly stunning!!) with dinner, bed and breakfast! The food served in the hotel is like no other! All dishes were served piping hot and looking like a piece of art. All food was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. Staff were ever so friendly and cared for all customers. Thank you to everyone at beachcroft hotel for making our stay unforgetable.

I visited the Beachcroft for a meal to celebrate my Mother in Law's birthday on Bank Holiday Monday evening.First of all excellent Covid procedures in place, which was explained in such a friendly and polite manner, it didn't feel like a chore!We were a table of five, service was excellent, friendly and attentive, but not over the top. The food was excellent. I have worked in many restaurants and can always tell fresh cooked food (sauces are normally the give away!)Hidden jem in Bognor as most of us think it's just a Hotel. Thank you to all the team, and I hope the Manager or owners realise that you are a cut above most restaurants

The choice of starters, main course and dessert are varied and interesting, beautifully garnished and piping hot. The service is prompt and children are well catered for.

We were an all ages party of ten and i think we all left extremely happy. The burger gang got their fix and the more adventurous members of the party all found something they were pleased with. It's rare in a party of 10 that you don't have at least 1 person regretting their choice - but that didn't happen. It was a perfect ten. And our service team were brilliant, patient, efficient and very prompt. Highly recommend.

Almost perfect night away - pleasant room, great location, excellent receptionist. Lost a star for flaky dinner service and though excellent variety at breakfast, served with obviously bad avocado and a hard poached egg. But would definitely return on a night away package ( a la carte dinner a bit expensive for food quality otherwise)

Excellent from start to finish!!!! We spent the evening at the Beachcroft hotel for a Del Boy tribute act and meal last night and it was fab!!The kitchen catered for my dietary needs, with help from Lukas one of the waiting team who looked after us. All of the staff were excellent.Food was lovely.Highly recommend.

Supremely better than most hotel restaurant We had a great al a carte meal here during our short break stay...3 courses, each of which was delicious Top notch and in Bognor/Felpham and not in London. Superb

We went for lunch today as we had won a voucher from a local school fair, which is lovely that the hotel supports local schools.We ordered ham hock terrine and the whitebait which were both good and presented well. We then opted for the lamb rump and the roast lamb which were both cooked very well, however the vegetables that were served were , carrots- no problem with that, a mix of courgettes, peppers , tomatoes, broad beans and peas which although tasty not seasonal vegetables along with baby sweet corn which completed baffled me in March, what is wrong with maybe some delicious local cabbage sautéed with bacon or leeks in butter or maybe some lovely local purple sprouting broccoli ! When the waiter came to ask if everything was okay during our meal I mentioned this as in air miles for the corn etc and was made to feel very uncomfortable him asking me if I was English and next time in a very loud voice Cabbage for everyone! I did though notice how much baby corn was going back to the kitchen from other diners come on support local businesses and buy and cook seasonally!

Have been to birthday parties and had my 50th Birthday party here. Also have held meetings and interviews .... Lovely staff, atmosphere, food.... totally recommend.

what a fantastice place for a xmas party! went with colleagues from work -never been here before but wasn't disapointed. Food gorgous-trio of fish very popular and absolutely delicious. great choice for special dietery needs-they are really good with this and happy to accomodate. mushroom rissotto was mouth watering. everyone was served promptly, food was piping hot and everyone said their meals were delicious. Highly reccomended.

Stayed at hotel with colleague on a business trip so decided to eat there. Good choice of simple fair, I had Scampi & Chips which was very nice

Had a nice lunch here overlooking the sea on sunny may day the place is dog friendly the service is super friendly. however the dog friendly rooms are too expensive to tempt us to stay.

We had booked for lunch from the bar menu. We sat outside with a great view of the sea. Had to go inside to the bar to order and having told a young waitress behind he bar there were no menus outside she replied to me " I put them out myself this morning" and carried on with her work. I went outside again and there were difinately no menus to be seen so I went back in and repeated my request for a menu. The young waitress again abruptly replied that there should be menus and reluctantly gave me a scruffy copy she had behind the bar. Not good service, answering the customer back instead of coming out to check and help. Having said that the rest of the staff were friendly and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Worth a visit... Just avoid the stroppy waitress.

We celebrated a family occasion in there in May. There were 25 of of us and I was surprised how well they did with the service. It took a while with drinks as we arrived a bit early. The food was delicious and served timely. Very kind staff, especially Ash to be mentioned. Good value for money. And it's based just on the seaside, so out of their garden and you're on the beach.

The food was excellent and beautifully presented all meal there was 28 of us came out together and was served on hot plates

Oh dear. Meal for 6 in the Tamarisk restaurant. £241 bill and still hungry. Personally I had a crab starter.....£8 and I could have eaten the whole thing in one mouthful. Weird vaguely crabby mousse on a bed of something sweet. No bread served with it. (Did get some sliced, very dry bread while waiting for food and had to ask for more) main course of seafood linguine. So easy to make! This was a pile of overcooked tagliatelle in a thick creamy sauce that tasted horribly like my partners creamy mushroom soup starter. No white wine or garlic here. Then to dessert. It looked lovely...and the sorbet was, but the tart was straight from the fridge, hard and stodgy.....5 mins in an oven and it would have been so much better. Such a disappointment and an expensive one at that.

The breakfast was very generous and the staff were very efficient. Beth our server had an impressive memory, great attention to detail and a lovely manner.

We have been to the Beachcroft Party nights several times before and have never been disappointed. Last night was no exception at the Spring Ball, everything was perfect. The resident singer Alexis was as usual superb, singing slow numbers while everyone is eating and livelier ones to dance to later. She was followed by the Disco, which we have been very disappointed with in the past, but last night he did an exceptional job. The selection of music was perfect for the age group and the volume just right, what a great improvement since our last experience, even with the lighting dimmed to suit the occasion .

Went to Best Western Beachcroft Hotel today for lunch with my Wife.Food and Service,was first class.Food was cooked very nicely and was hot.Would recommend this Restaurant.

Excellent food from both bistro and a-la-carte menus. Very well looked after by restaurant staff (especially Tom who popped by from the hotel reception to ensure our stay was going well). They provided a friendly service with good quality food at excellent value for money.

We only had breakfast but menu was very good with choices that catered for all. We had the full English and was really delicious especially the fried bread, non greasy and cooked to perfection. The staff were excellent and even sang Happy Birthday to my 8 year old daughter and produced a cake as well for her. 10/10 for presentation and seevuce

We enjoyed our dinner at this hotel, the chicken Diane was very tender and the sauce was amazing, plenty of veg and roast potatoes, very enjoyable

This was our third time for the Valentines evening and once again it was superb. A slight change to the format which suited us perfectly. The dreadful disco was missing and we were treated to a complete evening of the fabulous Alexis singing to us. What a great singer, she can sing just about anything, and really knows how to keep the evening going, from slow romantic songs to lively or slow ones to dance to. As usual the food was to the Beachcrofts very high standard, with excellent staff to compliment it. The waiting staff knew exactly when to serve and when to have stand back, they were really good. The only disappointment more from the Beachcrofts point of view than ours was the number of spare tables. This is such a great evening, which deserves to be very well supported, we just felt sorry for those that may have decided to go elsewhere, as they missed a fantastic evening. We will definitely be back for next years event (just hope they keep it going) and would suggest that a bit better (and earlier) advertising may help. I looked on the web site early in the New year and this event wasn't even mentioned, and a full description wasn't on the web page until a few weeks ago. Thanks Beachcroft for a great evening and also a big thank you for the lovely Rose which my Wife and all the other Ladies were presented with a really lovely touch.

Lovely meal out this evening. All freshly cooked. Would certainly recommend the restaurant and even though it is winter still quite a few dinners in. They also do steak night on a Friday, that's not what we had but it was certainly popular with other customers. Xx

Following a family funeral, The Beachcroft was the wake venue. We were greeted by the main door and shown to the room by a friendly member of staff, as were ALL the guests. The High Tea supplied was delicious and plentiful, with imaginative fillings and accompanied by scones, jam and cream! All staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Much appreciated!

Attended with family. Very friendly staff, had a lamb roast. Meat was a little tough, hard roast potatoes and little gravy, although more was requested. The service was quick, not overly busy and so a little more care with the food would have been achievable. Rest of the food very nice.

Had a lunch party of about 20. Service was very good and friendly. We had pre ordered our food, it was tasty and hot. Pudding was very good too.

Went to a great night of food and entrainment highly recommend to everyone. Staff are great, good food and an entrainment was top noch

I had the pleasure of using the restaurant whilst I was a guest at the hotel. We had wonderful service from all the staff there, but I have to single out Luis, as he was truly wonderful. So warm and friendly, and a true gentleman. I am coming back for a second visit to the hotel in February, as I enjoyed my stay so much!

I recently visited the beachcroft hotel with my Work for a Christmas meal, and my meal had special requirements I was extremely happy with the way my meal was presented and the service and effort the chef and staff put in to my meal.

Although not many people in the restaurant ,we were not hassled, and the food as always excellent and well cooked .We have been to the Beachcroft many times and always found it a great place to come for special dinners.

A lovely seaside hotel. My room was lovely and spacious and overlooked the sea. The reception staff are great and very helpful. Clean room and bathroom but the shower wasn't great. Breakfast is okay, not a great choice unless your having cooked. Would stay here again.

Attention to detail is paramount with discreet and courteous service. You made our happy day complete. Cannot thank you enough and would recommend to anyone thinking of holding a function with you.

This is usually a good place to eat with excellent service, but we will never go again on Sunday lunchtime! There was a birthday party in and the waiters were busy. So we had a very poorly trained waitress who was slow and who tried to serve me, dairy intolerant, with ice cream instead of sorbet! As recompense we were offered free coffee, but it was obviously the end of the pot, stewed and with a lot of dregs. They must have run out of roast pork as well since my friends' roast was obviously a thin loin steak, overcooked. My salmon was very nice and had an exotic touch with egg noodles and Chinese sauce. We didn't stay for dessert.

I lunch at The Beachcroft once a month and always enjoy the experience. My husband and I took our 4 Italian friends to lunch there last Sunday as we are always pleased with our meal whenever we go. We were not disappointed this time. On the contrary, not only was the meal, as usual, excellent, but our friends discovered that Luis, restaurant manager, spoke fluent Italian. This added another dimension to the enjoyment of the experience. I believe that Luis, and other members of the restaurant staff, speak a number of languages, which is a great advantage to any visitors from abroad who can enjoy a more relaxed lunch by using their own language. All the restaurant staff are very attentive & the ambience very pleasant. The menu is varied, reasonably priced and well prepared; I enjoyed a succulent piece of halibut on this occasion, while our friends chose a good old English Sunday roast. And in good weather coffee afterwards in the garden overlooking the seafront is an added bonus. Thank you, Beachcroft. Elizabeth Godfrey.

We stayed 2 nights in Room 44 which had a lovely view of the sea. On the Saturday night we ate in the Restaurant and it was excellent. We had Chicken Diane which was delicious and I had a triple mini desert which was very good. We were served by Joe who was friendly and helpful. In fact all the staff are brilliant.

Went over to Bognor for the day for a walk along the front and lunch with some friends. As we walked past the Beachcroft we noticed the gorgeous 'pod' in the garden. We went and asked if it was just for hotel guest or could the public use it. The staff were so friendly and said of course we could use it and happily showed us up. The menu choice was great. We all ended up with The fish and chips (thoroughly recommend) The waitress that served us Ellie was just fab. Kept popping back up to see if we were ok, always smiling, very polite and a great photographer (Thanks Ellie I love the pic of us all in the pod) It was a slightly windy day and overcast when we went but the pod made it so that we could still sit in the garden and overlook the sea. A perfect afternoon all round. Thank you xx

Went here with my mum and we had a sun lunch here, was very nice and pleasantly surprised me. Great location to the beach and seems to be quite popular on a Sunday!

Lovely staff, reasonable wine menu compliment this special hidden gem. It was a great shame to see the restaurant so empty. The food is excellent. Flavoursome, well presented, cooked to order using what are obviously local ingredients. if local residents could be encouraged to eat here regularly it would give it an atmosphere that can be missing on a quite evneing

Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. Nice for a Sunday lunch, with a jazz band if you`re lucky. Free parking if you`re there early enough.

Reasonably priced and something different. They use local ingredients where possible. All dietary requirements are clearly marked and there was a good choice. Highly recommended.

We went the Summer Ball and it was superb, we have been to a number of their Party nights and also the Spring Ball and this was definitely the best we have been to. The staff were incredible, you could see from the moment we arrived that they were going to make this a very special evening and they certainly did. The greeting with a Pimms/Lemonade was excellent and really set the evening off on a very high note. Considering how busy it was the service was incredible, we were never left waiting, but never felt rushed and at the same time as looking after us they had several very large tables to also look after. The food was superb, although initially we had a few problems with the choices on the menu, with my Wife unable to eat cheese, but they could not have been more helpful, organising the menu to suit everyone, leaving everyone very happy. As we have found before the singer Alexis was superb, and really made the evening, and the Disco was far better than the last time we visited, managing to play music to suit the age group, the only minor problem, which the Beachcroft are not able to control was the heat, being one of the hottest nights, it became almost unbearable after 10pm when they had to shut the doors to keep the noise down.

Super place to stay best location Penthouse great would recommend this to anyone looking to stay at Bognor regis. Ellie the young barmaid and waitress at breakfast time was very professional. All staff were very helpful during our stay.Breakfast was good plenty of everything for all my family.

Food was freshly cooked and the home made soups were delicious as was our main courses and desserts. Staff attentive, professional and friendly.

We have been to a few of their special functions and they were all good top food and service plus value for money ! The entertainment is also good and plenty of tunes to dance too

Stayed in hotel, early May bank holiday Monday & had dinner here. Lovely warm bread, think it was sunblush tomato flavour, cheese souffle starter & chicken diane main course were amazing. Sea bass very good too. Thanks for a great meal!

We had some fabulous dinners again during our visit this week. Fine dining at its best. All meals were excellent as usual but our favourite main course is still 'Chicken Diane'. We had our usual chocolate torte with caramelised orange on the first evening and then discovered a new item on the menu - warm chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. This is now our favourite sweet. More-ish! The two starters we loved best were the tiger prawns and avocado mousse and the ham hock terrine. As well as ordering from the a la carte you can order from the Bistro menu. The cod and chips looked hearty and appetising. What really makes it a pleasure to dine here are the friendly, attentive and professional staff who set out to make dining an outstanding experience. Thank you!

Once again the Breachcroft scored again, with a really tremendous evening with their Spring Ball. A lovely touch was the greeting by two charming ladies offering us a glass of Proscetto on arrival . We have always found the food to be exceptional and this evening was no different, served by friendly and very efficient Waiter and waitresses it was excellent. A really nice touch was the inclusion of the excellent Alexis Twain who sang during our meal and then stepped it up when we had finished to get everyone on the dance floor. Unfortunately at 10pm disaster struck when the dreadful Disco started, unbelievably loud for such a small venue, and as usual the DJ seemed unable to play music to suit the age group. We have experienced the awful resident Disco before so it was no surprise. We have concluded that the Disco has a set programme, that simply churns out loud continuous Disco noise regardless of the age of people in the audience, 16 years or 90 years its the same, what a pity the singer couldn't have continued all evening. This however didn't have any effect on our enjoyment of a really great evening, full marks to everyone involved (except the DJ). We will definitely be back.

It turns out that the puddings and most of the other offerings are made from scratch.

I stayed one night there and had an evening meal and a breakfast the next morning. Both meals were and good well cooked. Helpful staff in pleasant surroundings.

What a great Valentines evening we had, the three course meal was excellent, and the service by the friendly and helpful staff was superb. We didn't really know what to expect, with the usual Disco being replaced by a Lady Singer called Alexis Twine and she was really good, far exceeded our expectations. Only small disappointment was the decorative upgrade which they have recently carried out, which in my opinion left the place feeling cold with venetian blinds replacing curtains making it more like an open plan office and the lighting was far too harsh, much preferred it as it was.A final really nice touch was the presentation of a red rose to all the Ladies, my Wife was really thrilled. We will definitely be returning to the Beachcroft, and definitely next Valentines Evening.

We have been to 10 christmas parties over the years and Beachcrof have been consistant in well organised food delivery, music and dancing.

We stayed there last night and to be honest we were very disappointed that the ‘Chef’ felt himself too busy to make a sandwich!!! We’d eaten during the day so when it came to evening just fancied a sandwich, so looking through the hotel welcome book located in the room itself decided to have sandwiches. My husband went down to the reception and they told him to order at the bar, which he did and was prepared to wait whilst he had a pint at the bar, only to be told that the chef was far too busy!!!! I’m sorry but it does t take that long to make a sarnie, we were prepared to wait and wasn’t even asking for room service. A hotel is a place that all people are catered for unless it is something utterly ridiculous.

We dined here a couple of times this week. The food was fabulous. I had Chicken Diane on both occasions and it was divine. The chicken comes in a rich creamy sauce with mushrooms and a dash of mustard and brandy and is accompanied by crispy sautéed potatoes and a selection of vegetables. Chicken Diane is the restaurant's signature dish and my favourite. But having said that all the dishes on offer are delicious. We had chocolate torte and the chef's assiette for pudding. We highly recommend them. It is a pleasure to visit the restaurant with its gleaming cutlery and beautiful white candles. As ever, staff were welcoming, friendly, attentive, and professional. Main courses are about £15. Can't wait to visit again.

We had both breakfast and dinner at the Beachcroft. Poached eggs at breakfast cooked to perfection as was the sea bass at dinner. Very friendly helpful staff.

A good selection from the menu and Thursday was Fish night and Friday night steak night where an offer with a bottle of wine included was very good value. Excellent puddings, the best Chocolate torte ever had.

I have separately reviewed the hotel and the lovely stay we had here in April. Our family group of ten decided to eat in the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Some of the challenges were unfortunate errors - others were part of the routines and practise of the restaurant. The menu was too large for the kitchen to be able to reasonably cope with it. This resulted in an unacceptable delay in the starters and then the main courses being brought to the table. The restaurant was quiet with three other tables occupied and we had booked the previous day so we couldn't understand how our orders were so difficult to fulfil. A smaller range of choices could have made this more manageable. Unfortunately one of the steaks had been forgotten from our main course order. The replacement had been rushed and was inedible so one of our group went without a meal. At this point we were too weary from the waiting to want to wait further. As tables were vacated the staff started to lay for breakfast. This included cereals being put out on the main round table with floral displays. By the time we left, the restaurant was a breakfast room which was unnecessary. If the restaurant wants to be considered seriously as a restaurant it needs to act like one. Following an email to the manager we did receive some money back and an apology. The manager did say that the menu was going to be streamlined in the near future. We wanted to enjoy the meal as we liked the hotel so much. However we were not able to.

We have had excellent lunches and steak dinners. Special theme nights. We have recommended to friends who have sometimes joined us.

Staying at the hotel just for the night. Restaurant is lovely and spacious, modern but still has the charm and feel of a seaside hotel restaurant.After an awful Chinese the night before I was only after a light breakfast. Poached eggs and mushrooms on toast with coffee. Rather than a buffet affair where everything is a little dried out, the food is cooked fresh to order.Started with fresh fruit. There is a lovely selection of fresh fruit, pastries and yoghurts as well as juices whilst you wait for your breakfast to be cooked.Presentation of the breakfast was first class, the chef had gone to the extra effort of arranging the toast nicely, rather than just throwing it on the plate. The ingredients were of a high quality. Lovely toast using decent bread, perfectly cooked eggs and mushrooms all perfectly seasoned.Real coffee which was also very nice which seems to be a rarity these days.All in all a lovely breakfast. Final credit to the friendly staff. Polite, professional and efficient.

We had a wonderful, romantic dinner at the Beachcroft on 14 February. Three courses for about £25 was excellent value. My starter was the seafood duo with salad. My choice of main course was the Chicken Italian. Moist chicken, cream cheese filling and wrapped in bacon and accompanied by crisp sauteed potatoes and fresh vegetables. Pudding was chef's assiette of three sweets. Delicious! Service was attentive, friendly amd professional as usual. Quality of food was excellent. It was a great place for a romantic dinner. The hotel is currently being upgraded and is modern and classy.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and a very wide ranging menu, all priced reasonably. Nice to have a meal in a such a relaxed manner and served by waiters who looked after you as somebody valued.

Highly recommended and great food + staff service.very attentive and Sunday Lunch always busy so book early.

Another excellent Sunday lunch at the Beachcroft Hotel. Brilliant service from the staff and superb roast dinners. I had the roast beef, which was delicious.

This is the second time we have tried the party night, and once again it was a really enjoyable evening. The three course meal was excellent and the friendly and helpful staff could not be faulted. Overall the evening suffered from a lack of people, although all of us that were there enjoyed ourselves. We felt sorry for the Disco man, who was obviously a stand in, as he had difficulty working the equipment, and had little idea of the type of music to play, unlike last year when the Music was spot on. We will definitely be back, as this type of event is different and makes for a great evening out.

Delicious freshly cooked food served with a smile: delicious soup, delectable fish and creamy panna cotta.

Every time ive eaten here, its been a very pleasant experience. The food was always hot, well presented, the burger is to die for by the way. One of my colleagues absolutely adores the fish dishes especially the plaice. Waiting staff vary from the experienced to younger very enthusiastic. All very good at what they do and serve with a personal touch to make you feel valued.

We only had the breakfast in here but was very nice, comfortable and well kept. Breakfast service was good.

We booked a table for a group of friends. We were greeted on arrival and shown to a nicely laid table with pleasant surroundings in a bright, airy dining area. The staff were willing, if inexperienced, and did their best to take care of the group’s requests. Overall, the food was alright, with some exceptions. One guest commented on difficulty finding a small piece of salmon in a large bed of salad! Another guest clearly ordered a medium steak, had difficulty chewing the well-done offering he received, and requested a replacement. The waiting staff were helpful about getting a replacement steak, but it took time so that he was starting his meal after the salmon eater had picked through his salad and several others were finishing! All in all, a pleasant venue for a group meeting but some disappointments with the food.

Could not fault this seafront Hotel. Parking was easy. The food was always hot and excellent, The staff were great.

Had a Birthday Dinner in the restaurant what a great venue and the service was excellent. Good food and a good choice of wine.The lamb was superb.

Visited this restaurant last week for some fine dining. Dinner was top notch and the service was excellent. My Chicken Diane was tender and well flavoured by the sauce and the fried potatoes were crisp. I had chef''s assiette of desserts for the sweet course - the three mini desserts were more-ish. Delicious meal and good value! The dining room has recently been upgraded with new lighting and a new carpet. This is a great place for dining for special occasions or for a treat.

We used the restaurant on all three nights of our stay and found the food to be of a very high standard and the staff exceptionally professional and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Had dinner here and food was very good. Plenty of choice on the menu and lots of specials mainly of fresh fish. Good service and a nice bar area for a drink before or after dinner.

We enjoyed our dining here. Breakfast was excellent & set us up for the day ahead. Evening meal also excellent-no complaints.

This hotel is right on the seafront at Felpham, just outside Bognor Regis. We chose to stay there for that main reason, and had breakfast on 2 days with dinner on one of the evenings. The a la carte was £27.95 for 3 courses which we felt was a bit much for what was on offer; however they do a few meal deals such as a voucher for a bottle of wine which would be ideal for a group of 4. Service was the most impressive part of the experience, in our view.
