Really enjoyed our meals, huge portion sizes and nothing too much trouble for the Staff. Highly recommended

Very clever photos...made to look like a Manor House when literally only several rooms are in the Manor House; the rest (and by that I mean where you sleep; eat and the “spa”) are in the new extension which was just less than travelodge quality ☹️ Didn’t even bother with the pool/spa after walking down a long corridor to a manager yelling at one of his staff who upon seeing me turned into the most supercilious over-nice fake person who was quite creepy and made me feel uncomfortable....oddly he made my male partner feel exactly the same later the same evening. Food was disappointing - check out the pate pic...who doesn’t feel ready to eat a small bowl of fat!!! Okay for an overnight work stay but do not be fooled into thinking country manor....staff and service lacking! Also I genuinely cannot remember the last time someone poured a full glass of wine when I wasn’t asked to taste it first.....🤷🏼‍♀️

There is a good menu and the food is absolutely delicious. Plenty to suit all age groups. Beautifully cooked and presented. Service was slow as not enough staff. Great for dinner and breakfast.

Not many staff . I wasn't happy with the service but they did their best . Food average . Ordered prawns received shrimps but understand catering staff changing . Would try again.

Breakfast was fantastic - everything you could have possibly wanted. The evening meal was beautifully cooked and the menu was altered by friendly, helpful staff to remove the spices for me to be able to have the chicken cooked plain.

Highly recommended. Good choice of food well cooked and excellent service. Both diner and breafast were excellent.

During a recent stay in Worcestershire we had occasion to take my 97-year old aunt for lunch at Stourport Manor. The food was good and the prices moderate, but the staff were outstandingly helpful and couldn't have done more to accommodate the needs of my aunt. So well done SM staff.

No longer a Menzies Hotel and as my review of the Hotel states it is better when the Hotel is quiet.

This was a birthday treat for myself from my daughter and on arrival we were shown to a seating area to wait for our table . We were then taken to what can only be described as a through room with 2 tables set for tea , leading to the gardens with other rooms off . Whilst waiting a funeral party arrived and congregated in the area we were seated . As it was a nice day the waiter , seeing that we felt a bit uncomfortable asked if we wanted to sit outside and we were bought a pot of tea . A waitress then bought cakes and sandwiches out . There was a good variety of desserts which were all lovely however the sanwiches were so dry they were mostly inedible. Not once did any one come to ask if food was ok or if we wanted any more tea , in fact there were no waiting staff in sight ! Altoghether a very disappointing afternoon.

Brett and the the team at Stourport Manor made our day very special with their care and attention to detail. The planning, timing and organisation was top class. Brett react quickly and efficiently when the flower girl posy did not arrive and produce one in minutes. Best day of our life's. Big thanks.

Starter (Duck Salad) was great, very tasty, Zurich Style Veal with crispy potatoes and creamy sauce sounds very good, but potatoes not crispy and sauce not creamy....taste was ok, service very nice and friendly, chocolate cheescake was ok.

We visited for my mother in laws 90rh birthday party .the staff were very helpful setting up the room for the lunch .nothing was to much trouble and the lunch the next day was very good

Afternoon tea at the Stourport Manor hotel was delightful. For £9.95 it was well worth the money and such polite staff. Will definately make another visit.

The food here is TERRIBLE . We are here on the 25th of September. My fish was so obviously a frozen portion. It was chewy and rubbery. The service was shockingly slow and we all complained . Judging from the reviews here though no one will take any notice

Just moved to the area so thought we would visit for my partners birthday meal. We weren't disappointed. Dining room was quite busy which was nice as it gave a good atmosphere. I started with whipped goats cheese with chicory & beets. This was gorgeous - the slight tartness of the cheese perfectly matched with the sweetness of the cubes of beet. He had chicken liver parfait with feather soft brioche toast. A success!For main I had steak which was beautifully cooked and seasoned. This came with the usual chips & tomato. He had spicy cod wrapped in a banana leaf, with coconut cream rice. He declared it a triumph!! Creme brûlée and cheeseboard followed, all washed down with a very reasonably priced bottle of red.The portions are mot huge, but we both felt that we had eaten a lovely meal & left with full happy bellies!!Only slight niggle was the price of the drinks on the bar, but hey, it's a hotel, what else would you expect!!

Had a family meal as part of a two day hotel package. The food was excellent. Not a large menu but really tasty food, freshly cooked and the service was great.

The Hotel was a little tired.Our bar meal was expensive and poor.The rooms were dark and dull although the bed was comfortable.The breakfast was good on the whole but could still be improved.

My parents stayed here during a recent visit from Germany. We managed to book them in at short notice only due to a cancellation!They really enjoyed their stay, especially the visits to the pool and sauna in the mornings. Special thanks to receptionist Gemma for her efforts at using her German language skills to make our parents welcome!

This restaurant is very nice, service was good, and there was a lot to choose from on the menu. I found it to be reasonably priced.

We had booked a swim and thought we would book an afternoon tea. Very friendly staff at waves and then we went and had our tea which was very good. Lovely tea and the selection of sandwiches was great. Just the scones and wonderful treacle tart would have been enough. You get a great selection and the fresh strawberries where very nice. The waiting staff where great and Lesley was very nice so helpful. We will go back again as it was great value for money.

This is a nice restaurant with a nice view over the grounds. The food was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were decently priced for a Hotel.

The restaurant chose quality over quantity of menu choice, but there was something for everyone and every mouthful for me was delicious

Firstly, if you have a complaint don't waste your time raising it, they just don't care or even have the decently to respond to complaints, from what I've read from others, I'm not the only one who has had this problem.I have been left with no choice other than to raise my complaint with the CEO Tim Penter...i still await a response from his team.The basis of my complaint is poor food standards, poor customer service and to top it off a lack of communication.I would highly avoid the duck for starter whilst dining unless you want to choke on shards of bone, infact save your money and avoid booking at this hotel as you would more than likely experience problems and they fall on deaf ears!Please be aware, this poor service was not after one visit, we experienced numerous issues on two separate visits.

Visited the hotel on Monday 4th May for a birthday treat prebooked afternoon tea for 4 people.The afternoon tea turned up dry sandwiches no crust cut off and delivered on a bread board along with 2 scones and 4 pieces of madera cake. Complained about the sandwiches then another lot turned up this time not dry but with little or no filling.I am a member of the gym at this hotel so I thought I would support the hotel what a mistake never again.The hotel has no clue what a afternoon tea should consist of. the presentation was a joke and ruined the persons birthday treat.Emailed the hotel regarding this no response as of today.

Absolutely first class 3 course evening meal . Superb quality food Cooked to perfection and served by Gemma who was very attentive , friendly and helpful . Will definitely recommend as poss the best food in the area . Thank you .

I decided to take my wife there for a valentines meal. I enquired over the phone if they were doing anything special and the person didn't know. We exchanged emails and she kindly offered to drop a menu in to me as I was local, however I downloaded one off their site. On arrival of our date, you could see they were greatly under staffed. There was a function on with 280 people in the function room and one person working the lounge bar! Even though I had booked the table we had to wait until one became available. They had done nothing special for Valentines, a few red candles and petals dotted around and that was it. The food was ok for very small portions and the same salad used throughout to make the meal look bigger... at a cost of £25 per head. I'm not blaming the staff as they looked truely stressed, this is a management issue and comes down to performance management and problem solving skills. We expected so much more and got so little, not recommended.

It took 2 hours for us to get the food we had ordered despite having spoken to the waitress and then twice to the manager. When we did get our starters one of them was not what we ordered and what we had ordered 2 hours ago was no longer available. Then before the second starter was brought the main meals were brought to the table again one of which was not what we ordered. By the time we got our food the evening had been ruined and the food wasn't even that good. definitely not value for money.

Food was terrible with little choice if you have any allergies and service was not good, breakfast was good but it was a self service so you could help yourself to what you wanted.

Went Saturday whilst visiting the fairground with our grandson. The day was sunny and the pub was stuffy, but the meal was okay but nothing fantastic. a reasonable price for what you get.

Nice meal enjoyed by my family group although some of the portion sizes for both starters and main courses where a little small.

I enjoyed a recent meal here with my partner and also my brother, as we stayed over in the hotel. Usually, hotel restaurants can be pretty expensive and not the greatest of meals. I was very surprised with how cheap the children's menu was, with it being £6.50 for two courses and a drink and also £8.50 for three courses and a drink. The portion sizes were really good as well for the kids menu, so overall it felt like a pretty good deal! There is plenty to chose from on the menu for both children and adults. In particular, the main courses had a good selection of completely different kinds of meals and also wasn't to expensive. The staff were lovely and very helpful and friendly. The service wasn't super quick however, all of the food was fresh and hot when served, so you don't mind waiting for good quality food. The restaurant itself wasn't anything special, just tidy and clean and welcoming. We had a lovely meal and with it being our second meal at a Menzies hotel, again we were impressed and very satisfied. If you do decide to visit, enjoy!

The food was presented well and tasted superb. The head chef really knows his onions. The staff were always on hand and there was no rushed courses.

Went for a relatives birthday meal for Sunday 3 course carvery. The starter was quite good with a choice of soup or buffet. The main meal was a carvery and although they gave you large portions of meat it was rather tastless. There was a choice of desserts which were fine. The service was good and overall for the price paid it was value for money.

Excellent slow cooked beef and rump steak cooked to perfection.Fresh fruit at breakfast all cut and peeled was delicious .

We ate there for two nights dinner and breakfast.We thought that the choice of menu was good and would really recommend the home made soup. We enjoyed everything that we tried and the breakfast was good too.The staff were all first class and it really made it a nice place to eat.

Inedible potato dauphinoise that had been reheated so often that the top and bottom were solid and brittle with a sliver of semi edible potato in between.At breakfast, attempted to attract the attention of staff for more than 20 minutes before going to restaurant reception to place my order.

As soon as you arrive in the bar area the friendliness of the place becomes evident. The team work well together, from pre meal drinks to menu and being shown to your table - everyone helps to make your visit a good one.The food is good value and the drinks aren’t expensive. We felt relaxed and appreciated the attention we were given. Our custom was valued and it showed.

Having eaten at a Marco Pierre White establishment and been underwhelmed at the menu this did try to offer the basics and a little more. Not Michelin star type menu but a good mix and there was lots to tempt us on the menu. The food was very good ingredients, well cooked and served with a friendly smile and attention to detail. Both in the restaurant and the bar the staff were very helpful and of a high standard. I do wish wine waiters would concentrate on getting it in the glass though rather than trying to be a little flashy with their delivery. A minute point but worth mentioning. This did not detract from the whole experience though which was very pleasing. We both felt comfortable replete with nice tasted in our mouth rather than just foddered. Staying in the hotel we also sampled breakfast which was excellent. A choice of cooked ingredients, done on a buffet style but regularly topped up and not a t all tired. Other fishy alternatives were available to order and a continental selection of viennoiserie and cooked meats etc provided lots of choice.A good find and one worth a visit for all tastes and not off the wall with prices either.

The choice on the menu was very good ... Six of us all had different meals and everyone enjoyed what they had chosen.the restaurant staff were very attentive.

We dropped in one Sunday for Lunch. Food great,service great, value outstanding. Only a few people there. What a pity as this Sunday Lunch was far superior to local places and the price was £9.95 for 2 courses. Amazing. Staff were really nice as well. Have no idea why there were not more people. A real Gem will be definately returning for Sunday Lunch again & again.

We stayed the Friday night before wedding and as we booked for 2 nights we had our evening meal included we had vegetable soup starter steak and chunky chips and syrup spong pudding with custard it was lovely and nicely presented. The waitress Leanne was lovely and we got to know her well as she was helping at the wedding the staff were really friendly

The starter we had was potato soufflé black pudding and bacon, when it came the potato soufflé was more like a badly cook gnocci a scallop would and should have been on there, who wants a stodgy potato blob.

We were staying at the hotel on a Dinner+B&B package, and found that the food was great. Some hotels have reduced menus for Dinner+B&B, but here we were offered £25 per person to dine from their a la carte menu. Much better system!Recommended.

Stayed at this hotel. The food was very good and well cooked but a bit pricey for what it is. I you want big portions of food then this isn't the place for you. However, the food is well cooked and nicely presented. The restaurant is a good size and well lit. Check first if there is a function as there was a wedding disco in the function room which was a bit noisy.

Whatever you do, do NOT miss the little croissants at breakfast. I could seriously over-indulge on these alone, which would be a shame as the rest of the breakfast is a l m o s t as good!Other than that, simply enjoy. I've never had anything here that was less than a delight; take your pick, it's all top notch.

The food quality has improved immensely over the last three years and the menu has respectable variety.Downsides are a tawdry cheese selection and it can get chaotic when they are very busy.

We had a business private dining evening, overall it was not a very good experience, the food was dry and tasteless this included three diffent dishes on the evening. Breakfast was OK although it took 15 minutes for a poached egg order to arrive!

Ate there on a Sunday evening - mainly a la carte with only 2 specials available. No set menu.Starters and desserts bizarrely priced below or close to pub prices but mains priced as expected for a 4 star hotel.We were on a 2 day break with a dinner allowance of about £22 pp for 1 night only which we failed to reach! More veg and bigger portions would have been welcome but quality was good.Coffee at breakfast was exceptionally good and hot.
