Lovely lunch in a great little restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I would 100% recommend to anyone in the area

The staff were courteous, polite and helpful. Our food was delicious and we ate everything. We sat in an area of the restaurant that allowed our dog to come with us (as we wouldn't leave her in a strange room) for both Dinner & Breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with a selection from the cold buffet first followed by a full English. Very clean and tidy too and able to charge directly to our hotel room. Nothing was too much trouble for them to accommodate. Would recommend and visit again. Thank you.

Excellent themed afternoon tea, accommodating to gluten and dairy free diets with ease and plenty of choice too. We had the Harry Potter themed afternoon tea and were left very full and happy with the service and food we received.

We took one of our customers for a retirement lunch and was really disappointed. We have visited a number of times before and the food has been delicious. The fish was burned and really dry, the steak pie hardly had any steak in and was also burned on top. Someone in our party had a chicken burger which was dry and over cooked. Such a shame it wasn't up to the usual standard.

Fantastic new menu, food was outstanding the chef is so talented. The serve is amazing nothing is to much trouble. Great atmosphere.

We eat out every Sunday so we have a good experience of what's on offer in this area. We ate out last Sunday at the Fork and Spoon. One of the best places we have eaten at. The price is average and the service and food is excellent. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that the desert menu is limited.

There was plenty to choose from on the menu - an amazing selection. The dining area was clean and low lighting set the mood of our Wedding Anniversary meal x

Forgive the title but for a lot of customers that’s all you needed to know. We visited for the first time after the ‘outside’ reopening and had a wonderful Saturday afternoon meal with friends. There are hand gel dispensers throughout and a well marked one way system keeps everyone socially distant when away from their tables. You are asked to check in on the nhs app or leave your details which i found reassuring. Service was excellent as usual and the food (especially the desserts) amazing. The enclosed area outside is a real sun trap and I would recommend it in the afternoon. See you ALL soon. Can’t wait for Dirty Grease again!

Me and my partner went for a meal tonight and loved every minuet, I had the sea bass which was beautiful and my partner had the fish and chips which looked just as nice! our waitress Sherry was happy and helpful! The waitressing would get 5* alone! We’ll be returning and bringing the rest of the family sometime soon!

We had a lovely overnight stay at this hotel on a groupon deal . Great value for money . Paid extra for a lovely afternoon tea . We were looked after very well by sherry . The food was excellent for all of our meals hot and fresh and well cooked . Even though the hotel was quiet ever effort was made to make it a welcome atmosphere. We felt covid safe, every thing in place (hand sani and oneway system in place ) . Room was very clean and comfortable. This is now on our list to visit again .

As this restaurant is in a remote area and fully integrated in the hotel it is obvious to use your dinner and breakfast over there. Luckily the quality is good and the staff is nice and friendly.

The Fork & Spoon is a quaint design for a quiet eating experience. The Sunday lunch menu is the same as the main hotel and offers a wide choice from meats to fish to vegetarian. Staff are very attentive and polite.
