We had a family meal here, my husband is extremely hard of hearing and they went out of theirs way to accommodate this often hidden disability, the food was excellent could not fault the quality or the service

Two couples had a pleasant evening here on a Saturday night mid-September last year. Located just a short walk from where we stayed at another hotel, it was just what we needed to after a long-ish driving day on a road trip UK holiday. We'd phoned ahead to reserve once we'd checked in at Holiday Inn, but it was not busy so service was good. We had no complaints about any of our meals. Worth eating there if you're ever in the area.

In town for business. Eating at the hotel is often not a good choice but my business associate and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food presented. On alternate nights we had the lamb shoulder and brisket. The brisket is not a Texas brisket but is flavorful, fork-tender and served with red cabbage and nice mash. A very nice find!

18AM Livery Street
It was a sunday lunchtime and we went to gbk for mothers day lunch and when we saw the burgers we decoded to go here as they looked very nice. However when we were taken to our table we was sat there for 20 minutes not knowing how to place an order once we found out we was sat waiting for our food for 30 minutes. Now the burgers did taste okay and wasnt a problem however the chicken wings were one of the worst i have ever tasted the batter tasted like rubber and it was the worst chicken wings i have ever tasted. The chefs were sat there talking and not actually cooking our food. We were really ashamed on the service as there was one waitress who was really putting in the hard work. Overall would not recommend.
