What a fantastic find during a couple of days in Hythe. Made to feel welcome as soon as we got there. Great range of drinks. Loved the music (apart from The Nolans 🤣🤣 - only joking). Fantastic decor, so unique, a bit like walking into someone’s dream when they’ve got lots of random things on their mind 🙂. Edie looked amazing and was the perfect host. Cedric was a gorgeous bonus. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be popping in again next time we’re visiting Hythe. (The 6 from Swanscombe celebrating a 60th)

This cosy, yet quirky, little bar is a must if visiting Hythe. Such a friendly atmosphere and so much to look at. The staff are happy to serve you and everyone is welcome.

I came here for the first time recently for a party held in their upstairs room and had an amazing time. The owners were really friendly, food and drinks were perfect for the occasion. I would recommend to anyone looking to hire for a small party or to pop in for a nice drink and bite to eat! Thank you

I have come here since the venue opened and always had a lovely time. I recently hosted my cousins hen do here the price, venue and service was incredible. Meat and vegan options both equally tasty. My whole family complimented and said how impressed they was with remedies. Highly recommend

Had a wonderful evening with friends at this quirky bar which has the most friendliest and welcoming owners. Went back with a hens party in the room upstairs which was absolutely brilliant, prosecco did not stop flowing and the most delicious vegan cheese board - and pizza. Jimmy and Edie the owners couldn’t do enough for us. Go for a quiet beer and take in all the funky items, or for a good catch up with mates. So good to have somewhere a bit different to go to in Hythe.

Booked my cousins hen do at this gorgeous venue along with a spread of food. The food was absolutely amazing. The Vegan food was just insane, we have never had cheese like it before! Edie and Jimmy are just the most beautiful hosts and we didn't want for anything. Everyone had such an amazing time and we can't wait to have another family event with you both. Thank you so much.

So taken were we with the authentic charm and ambiance of Remedies on first visit, we decided instantly to enquire as to whether we could hire it for an up and coming family gathering. The owners Jim and Edie went above and beyond with their care and attention to detail to accommodate our family and friends for a truly wonderful party. We all had such a great time I wouldn't hesitate to hire in the future. If you are local to Hythe or just visiting I recommend you pop in and enjoy the unique character of a place that has captured our hearts and enjoy chatter, drinks and nibbles with genuinely lovable owners and clientele. This place honestly attracts some of life's finest people!

Called in for a,drink made so welcome such friendly people great place went for a meal then had to go back for another round will return whenever we are passing through to travel to greece again

Thank you so much Jimmy and Edie for a fabulous evening for my husbands 40th birthday party. We have visited a few times for a relaxed evening drink and when my husbands birthday came around we knew exactly who to call. From the start Jimmy and Edie made the planning easy and were flexible to whatever we wanted. They genuinely wanted us to have a good time and took away all the stresses that usually come with arranging a party. Jimmy made a selection of canapés and buffet food made fresh and catered around flavours my husband enjoys. The homemade pate was divine!! They provided us their upstairs to enjoy a night of live music and delicious food. All our guests enjoyed every minute of being in this wonderful place. The decor is beautiful and the food delicious! When you walk in you instantly forget all the stresses of life and just relax into the night with ease. Jimmy and Edie are such wonderful, warm hosts and Hythe is very blessed to have this unique place on the High Street <3

Great evening for our Christmas get together and buffet , Jim and Edie are great hosts always welcoming and their Son who did a great job. The buffet was superb and different especially the filled yorksher pudding with a gravy dip. And the dessert treats were awesome, what a lovely evening we all had . Many guests were on their first visit and will be coming back for more . Im already getting emails from friends thanking us for arranging a great evening. We will be back very soon .

Lived in hythe for ages.. didn't know it was here. Went for a drink with a friend and wow.. what a lovely place Great service . Great staff. Fantastic

A welcoming feel to the place. We had a mix of the single dishes and they were a delight. Never had calamari so good and the sauces and relishes were so tasty. Jim, co-owner was a welcome host and we would certainly come back here again.

Absolutely love this place a right hidden quirky gem. Edie and Jimmy are so welcoming and great fun. Will be spending a lot of time here. 👍
