The room was alright itself ! Could use a bit of TLC, maybe fix that shelf! The host, the bartender, the over all feeling Not sure it made the venue quite so appealing We had a funny time, maybe not for the right reasons Good luck with room for the rest of the seasons

The escape room was amazing! Very good puzzles and great photo at the end! The water puzzle is was the hardest puzzle

Truly an inclusive magical family experience. We were given a good context set before we began and found the wizarding room had an excellent variety of problems to solve. Thanks again for the super experience.

I'm only giving this place a 4 and not a 5 because it was clearly understaffed.. But the restaurant and the food was fantastic, really nice inside and clean. The staff were working so hard and clearly under so much pressure, yea breakfast took a while but worth it.

The food was OK but the service was absolutely shocking. The place was understaffed & the staff that were working didn't have a clue how to deal with a full bar. We had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive & almost walked out. Not their fault but bad management. I would not recommend.

We called in today to get away from the crowded York streets - never been in before and didn’t even know it was there. Made very welcome by the staff and had a window seat watching the world go by. I had a coffee and a Diet Coke and my wife had two halves of lager. Plenty of couples came in and ordered a mix of alcohol and hit drinks. Coffee was lovely too coupled with an absolutely belting mid 80’s to mid 90’s soundtrack playing in the background at the appropriate level made for a good break from the heaving crowds. Definitely go back next time in York - dog friendly too.

Loved it! Tried a fair few escape rooms now and this was definitely one of the better ones! New experiences not just locks!!

Escape room was brilliant. Different from the others we have done. Cleverly set up. Great for the kids to be involved in.

I may have been terrible at the escape room, but it was so genuinely fun that I couldn’t help but get so into it! I felt like I was a real wizard for 45 minutes, and honestly it’s something I’d love to do again.

Really enjoyed our visit today with our 2 children (aged 14 and 12). Thought the challenges were really interactive, quite tricky but, with a few hints, managed to work them out. Really helpful advice given. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge.

Dogs on the seats barking across the room at each other. Cardboard pizza and no tasty small plate food from before. (New summer menu apparently). My polite complaint about the dogs met with an agresive response. One to forget.
