Food is delicious, so good we went two days in a row. Smash burger, toasties and Cajun fries were all lovely with friendly service.

Not been here since the name change. The burgers were great, the chips outstanding. Service was friendly and efficient. My mum had a tomato, cheese & leek pasties which was also lovely. Coffee and hot chocolate were good too. Three portions of chips, two burgers, a pastie and three drinks was £37.50, which, in this day and age, is pretty good value for where we were.

Very busy on sunny Spring Saturday but young ladies behind counter coped admirably with orders and people changing their minds. We had the sweet potato soup as well as home made macaroni pie and sausage roll and were pleasantly surprised. Tasted absolutely fantastic! Very filling however so we ended up not having cake as well but that gives us another reason to go back! Very reasonable price at £13 Seating inside and out. Gift shop is lovely too but it is rather expensive- unfortunately aimed at the tourists. Plenty parking as part of the Botanic gardens and toilets were immaculate with plenty soap and hot water. Lovely part of Scotland and well worth a visit - we had been walking at Pucks Glen nearby.

Outstanding burger and fries made with real potatoes! No wonder there always a queue. Great cakes. Order at the horse box and find a table. The service is pretty speedy.

Just go, you will not regret it. Beautiful food, great menu, amazing coffee, lovely people. We tried a number of places around the area for food and this is our favourite.

The burgers were amazing. Best we've had for ages. Fries were exemplary. Yes sweet bakes were a bit solid and limited. We'll return again for burgers alone and friendly informal atmosphere. The gardens are well worth the visit.

We were hoping for something better in Benmore Botanic Gardens. We have visited the gardens in Edinburgh and Dawyck which have nice cafes with proper crockery and cutlery and wonderful home-baked cakes at Dawyck. Street food would be a good description. Burgers, chips with everything, lots of spicy things etc but not a quiche, salad (other than as a bit of garnish) or bowl of soup in sight. No sandwiches of any kind. I ordered a chicken wrap which I thought would be safest but it was drowned in BBQ sauce which is not to my taste and drowned the taste of any chicken. I was hungry. I ate it. My husband chose a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which he described as "adequate". I think the biggest gripe is the lack of choice. If you're not a fan of high-fat and sugary food, don't go here. The tea and coffee, served in cardboard cups, were OK. Very disappointed. Next time I'll take my own sandwiches.

There used to be such a fantastic cafe at Benmore gardens run by local people with locally sourced ingredients. Now there is this “street food” rubbish. Most of the seating is outside (fine on dry and midge free days) . Choice of coffee, tea, bakes and some stuffy dishes served in takeaway boxes. Disappointing

Stayed for a wedding with my two young children. Room was a great size & travel cot was set up ready for us. Staff were friendly & helpful. Breakfast was lovely, staff were accommodating & it felt that nothing was too much bother. Would stay again!

This shop really is the hidden gem of Dunoon. There are a few things to try, that cannot be missed. The first is the cinnamon bun! - Well worth pre-ordering, make sure you get enough, as one will not be enough. Next, the handmade chocolates are to die for! - Little hits of delicious chocolatey goodness. Beautifully flavoured and presented. Yolanda is really personable and friendly. If you need a bespoke birthday cake, or something sweet to tackle your cravings… this is the go-to place.

Looks can be deceiving, we (6 ) had a good meal all with different dishes, Every one of our group was happy & relieved - just getting a place to eat on the Island is difficult. The main town does not inspire!

I had booked lunch for a party of six for 1pm 14th February. The staff were lovely and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The food was freshly made and excellent and although we had a three-course meal, I had forgotten that I had also ordered a cake to celebrate my wedding day. I took it home with me to enjoy later and it was amazing. Great food, very reasonably priced and we all had a great time. Thank you so much guys you made my day even more special.

Lovely pub grub lunch in a fabulous setting. The burger was fab and here's a sentence you don't see too often. We ate inside because it was too hot outside. Great location and friendly staff completed excellent visit.
