As Always Excellent service and food (will be sad to not be able to order again due to closure) I Wish them the best for the future.

The food was lovely, however only gave us one poppadom and a bit expensive.

It was over an hour from our order to our food arriving. We’ve ordered from here loads of times and have always enjoyed it- it is our go to restaurant for a curry but this time is was not good- everything had loads of coconut in it (doesn’t usually)

Food is always good but delivery time is atrocious. Normally takes the best part of an hour and tonight it was delayed even further. Such s shame considering it was mine and my partners anniversary...

Looked like a good portion of good on the outside, then when you open realise it's nearly all sauce and not much meat at all. Wouldn't order again as most a cheaper and equally as good or better.

Overall, I have to agree with the comments here that the food is watery and lacking in taste, spice and seasoning. Veg biryani - was ok. Not great Mutter paneer - very odd tasting. It’s in a coconut based sauce Saag paneer- again, very odd tasting and in a coconut based sauce. The spinach and cheese didn’t have the right texture at all Chicken korma- was ok. Not great. 2/6 stars on food quality

Usually love this place and always order. But todays order was absolutely disgusting. I was sent a burnt popadom, it was black! and the korma I was sent was like coloured water! It had no flavour at all and was disgusting. Wont be ordering from red rose again unfortunately. Total waste of money.

I ordered both lamb curry and tikka masala.. the meat in curry was very soft and tender and it was nice. But the meat in tikka masala was too hard and rubbery..

Not up to the usual standard, the onion bargees were good but the passanda was bland & had no real taste

1 star for food quality. Food was delivered on time and by a friendly guy but the food itself was dire. Bland, watery, flavourless. The lamb was poor quality and incredibly chewy. The bhuna was ok but the lamb pasanda and chicken tikka were the worst curries I’ve had. Shame when the service and delivery was good. I’m perplexed how this restaurant has such high review score. I assume the food quality, service and delivery are amalgamated, making a decent star rating overall when surely the food is the most important thing. And it was awful.

Excellent food arrived hot. Delivery driver very polite and friendly. Red Rose Classic Indian is quite simply the best.

Nice food, however have marked down as my chicken Malaya had banana in it instead of pineapple?! It still tasted nice enough, but should’ve been highlighted by the restaurant. Luckily I’m not allergic!

I think the bad reviews are from people who crave oily salty fatty food, this is like a healthier version of Indian take out wether it means to be or not, it’s fresh tasty and delicious! Without feeling heavy

The food came really quick but was barely warm and everything was laced with tonnes of salt including the chicken tikka - the flavour of everything was lost and overpowered amongst all the salt.

1h 30min for delivery is not acceptable

The food was all sweet, unexpectedly chicken tikka was too sweet, I think they misunderstood salt with sugar. Saag paneer could not be more sweeter too. We ate food like it was some desert. Unfortunately, we were left unsatisfied with the food.

Hello, very sorry to complain but I got bhindi bhaji instead of brinjal bhaji with my meal today. Not particularly fond of okras so i do tend to avoid them but I just wanted to let you know. Many Thanks Aldalin

We waited for this for over an hour, which would’ve been alright if the food had had any flavour. The garlic bread tasted like nothing but flour and water, definitely not garlic and the chicken tikka masala was the most boring, most flavourless Indian food I’ve had. That includes microwave meals. Not at all comparable to the Red Rose in Surbiton

Was disappointed with the quality of the meal (lamb biryani). The meat was tough and the general quality of the meal left a lot to be desired, and compared unfavourably with other biryanis I have enjoyed in the past.

The food was too sweet it was inedible. Tasted like red sugar paste. Very disappointing.

Red Rose Classic Indian is a wonderful, authentic find and quite refined. The genuine, exquisite cooking makes getting a takeaway from this restaurant a pleasure.

We ordered at 7pm the food came at 10pm and when I called they picked and ignored me on the phone for 15min.

After 2 hours food still hasn’t arrived. Restaurant not accepting phone calls. Total shambles!
