Indian Gossip in Merton

felt I had to submit a review when I realised that Indian Gossip as a restaurant does not exist any more and the food came from a takeaway in Wandsworth. The food was so late that we drove up to Indian Gossip and it is no longer there. this was also confirmed by the driver when he bought the dishes that were missing. This shouldn't be allowed as there is no way to trace where the food is coming from surely this is wrong. Food was really not good

Food delivery time was set to 55 minutes, but received a call about 5 minutes after to advise it would be another 20. When it arrived (half an hour later) I could have overlooked the fact it was late as its bank holiday Monday had it not been for the fact the food was a complete let down. What is normally a delicious meal was completely lacklustre. The poppadom I ordered was crushed into tiny peices to the point you weren't able to distinguish whether it was in fact a full poppadom. Onion bahjis were tough and stale. Mushroom rice was soggy. And my (normally) favourite dish the lamb korma had a bland sauce, completely devoid of taste to the point where I actually ended up throwing half away as it had no flavour. Incredibly disappointed. Only reason I'm not rating it 1 star is because I've enjoyed a few pleasant meals from them before and I'm hoping this is a one off as bank holiday Monday demand is high!

Wow. Avoid avoid avoid! Seriously as I'm writing this its been more than 1.5 hrs since order. The shop is literally 5 min drive away yet the man on the phone insists its due to traffic.

Ordered 15 pounds worth of food from here and they just..didn't show up, when I tried to call the resturant after nearly two hours since the order was placed, no one picked up. AVOID

the chicken madras was wonderfully cooked full of flavor and lovely and spicy . the chicken tikka was one of the best grilled dishes i have tasted i would order again soon

the chicken tikka masala was creamy and full off flavor but still not fatty. the pilau rice was perfectly streamed complemented the chicken wonderfully . the chicken tikka was beautifully spiced and perfectly grilled. and could not expected a better service and would recommend and would order again soon.

That was the best Indian meal I've had in a long, long time. The Brinjal Bhaji was just delicious, fresh and flavoursome. The lamb in my Biriyani was tender and full of flavour and my stuffed Paratha was yummy. The food arrived piping hot and fresh. Definitely going to order from Indian Gossip again!

chicken dansak was fantastic, really loved the lentils which were just perfect, not too hard nor too soft.

Ordered chicken tikka mushroom karahi and murgh makhani, I enjoyed both of the dishes but the murgh makhani, my boyfriend was Indian and he used to cook the murgh makhani I found after 17 years the same murgh makhani and i'm very very glad with the service and food. Keep it up Indian Gossip. Thanks to Just Eat to have such a good take away on your website.

I am not really a fan of biryanis since I often found they skimp on the meat, so it was very delightful to find this one packed with king prawns, delicious!
