Fantastic food, fab service. Would definitely visit again. Disappointed there was no soap in either set of toilets and the bathrooms themselves needed a deep clean and then more regular cleaning. Did make us wonder about cleanliness elsewhere in the non-public facing spaces but choosing to hope the toilets were an exception!

Stayed here on back of others' reviews, and it did not disappoint! Arranged ahead to stay over for one night in our motorhome and booked a table (morally right thing to do when staying over in the car park). Really good experience, welcoming staff, and we had a very good meal. Some slight road noise on and off but it didn't affect or disturb us. Nice fairly flat gravel carpark - we didn't need to use ramps. Not a great view from the van, but we didn't need one. We will happily return again if travelling this way, for the food alone if not a stopover as well.

Spot on no fuss, great staff and terrific food. We had a beautiful early dinner. Try the Ostrich and zebra clisely followed by wild boar meatballs. All traditional food catered food also. You cant go wrong

Just not it, overpriced and barely any food. Not worth the money. Waited too long for something horrible, only good thing could be argued was the desert.

Great date night, Brought my girlfriend here for Valentine’s Day and the food was wonderful and Lacie was very helpful and friendly!

When you walk in the place is very cozy. Our waitress was Lacey and she was so kind and helpful, and the food was amazing! Would definitely go back.

It was absolutely amazing! The exotic meats are actually exotic meats! The zebra was AMAZING! If you come here you MUST have an exotic meat. Lacie was also amazing and great at recommending foods.

Wet rainy night made special at the steakhouse. During our meal there was a power cut, the staff had already been attentive and helpful but when the power went out they pulled out the stops, candles brought to the table and regular checks that we were ok, they even escorted us to the car by phone torchlight. We had an excellent meal and were disappointed we couldn’t stay longer, both reasons to visit again.

We moved to the area last year and have had a fair few meals here now. The food is always excellent and really tasty and the service is always exceptional. We’ve had Lacie serve us the last couple of times and she made our experience so lovely. She’s really friendly and always shows an interest in her customers. An asset to the business. We will be returning time and time again as it’s our new favourite restaurant. Thank you

We have visited here quite a bit over last few months but were really disappointed on our last visit, we were squeezed in near the door so everyone walking in and out kept catching my chair, I did speak with a member of staff but that was our table, she did say they could move the table but there really wasn’t any room! They were so busy, we waited so long for drinks and sat right near the bar. Just to add the poor staff that were there were run ragged and worked so hard. I just think the owners are to greedy and had to many in with no staff to cover it. Food was ok, my steak which I ordered medium came out rare, again I couldn’t catch the attention of staff as they were to busy. We asked for sauce along with salt & pepper, they’d obviously forgotten, again to busy, we were half way through meals when I caught someone’s eye who did get what we asked for apart from salt but hey… Not sure we will return, a shame really as it’s very local. We left a tip as again the staff worked hard just not enough of them.

My parents live locally had have eaten here many times last night however was dreadful! We were shown to our table and after 2 mins asked the person in charge if we could order drinks. She said we had to wait as she was preparing another table. after 50 mins a waiter appeared for our drinks order, and we asked to order food at the same time. Most of the food arrived promptly, the scampi was fine but chips and peas freezing, the requested mushrooms were missing from my salad, we only had cutlery for three and my mums main was missing - and still no drinks. Finally a bottle of wine arrived but only one glass as they’d run out! Nobody checked on how things were during our meal, and as a result we asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill. The waiter asked why, and we explained the issues we’d experienced, there was no real apology and I then had to push for the inedible scampi meal to be removed from the bill. The restaurant was very busy with people, but an ineffective automated ordering system and not enough staff made for an unpleasant experience.

Been a few times lately and food is average but the setting is nice. Placed at a table last night where you had to move in and out every time for the waitresses. Steak was cold and sent back - no apology. (For a steakhouse to eff up a steak is a bit of a joke?!) Plate dumped down, again no apology, 15 minutes later, no attentiveness in between either. Asked for ketchup, felt like it was a problem. Asked for salt and pepper, felt it was a huff and puff. Had to get up to go and ask for a fork to eat the second attempt of the meal before it went cold again. Manager is RUDE. Never ever in my life come across someone so rude, does not know how to treat customers AT ALL. Rebecca (other waitress) was actually nice, apologetic and understanding) No discounted bill. No apology from the manager/kitchen. Manager was rude and in fact patronising at times. Should not be a manager. A manager sets by example and has leadership skills. I absolutely hope no one follows in her footsteps!!!!

My girlfriend ,a friend and I visited the Red Lodge Steakhouse again for breakfast ,just love this restaurant ,the quirky and lovely decor as well,we all very much enjoyed a delicious breakfast and our visit was even more enhanced by the super service we received from TOM ,a great guy ,his service is second to none ,checked we were enjoying our food ,very friendly ,brilliant soh and his manners are impeccable ,you are a credit to the Red Lodge Tom 😁.We've also enjoyed very tasty meals in the evenings at this restaurant on many occasions ,love that they do a variety of exotic meats too on a very varied menu ,must try their Sunday Roast in the near future as I've heard that's excellent too.Many thanks from Keith ,Lynne & Gareth

We booked a table for 7.30,but on arrival we’re told our table was not ready yet. We had to wait almost half an hour. Not good as we had two young children in our party Once seated,the menu looked pleasing if slightly pricey . I ,myself had a skippy burger and fries ,this was really good. For desert I had a brownie with ice cream,very delicious. The waitress was lovely and I thought the service was good. However,at the end of the evening ,we all payed separately. I was last and mine should have been £28.however, I realised on my bank statement ,they had charged me £44. I have phoned ,emailed three times,and they have not bothered to look into it. For this reason,I will not be going there again

I used to love Red Lodge Steakhouse. Amazing food, presented with pride that drew you back again and again. So what’s happened???? It has been a couple of months since going, walked into the pub and instantly it was a noticeable change. More tables, new staff, but a flat atmosphere, however for the first time a specials menu, so gave it a go with the Ostrich/Hog/Steak and reindeer meatballs grill plater. What arrived was passible in most pub restaurants, smaller cuts of meat with a rocket salad side garnish on a massive plate that made everything look woefully small. The sides used to be presented to you and made the whole eating experience great, now they felt underwhelming in presentation. And Aussie Caesar Salad was limp, splodged with ranch dressing and soggy croutons. This new management have a lot to live upto, But sadly Red Lodge Steakhouse has deviated from the original American Grill Steakhouse vibe. It’s a thumbs down from this fatboy.

Well! Not being from the area we wanted a restaurant that’s open on a Monday! Not so many places are in Worlington, so found the Red Lodge Steakhouse online, rang up to ensure they were open & sure enough they were! We arrived early ish 6:45pm & the place was already busy! Funky design inside & was welcomed by a genuine smile & great customer service! We ordered one of the specials that night- full rack o ribs with corn cob, salad garnish & chunky chips. It was delicious! Ribs were juicy & flavoursome, the pork fell off the bones! Chips dusted with salt & proper crunchy! Corncob was succulent! We were really thrilled with our choice & followed it up with Honeycomb Cheesecake & vanilla ice cream. Washed down with a BeaverTown Neck oil ipa. The whole evening was great! Go try it for yourself & get there early to avoid disappointment!

Love going here normally always bring friends here and family tonight asked to go as bday left feeling deflated food only 2 meals good others not ! But we accept not everything goes to plan ! Service was very poor waited ages for things we was asked if would like table cleared said yes and just sat waiting 2 plates taken then sat again with nothing happening we in turn got up and left ! Not even asked why ? Very disappointed as my birthday meal I chose to go here !even had to ask if they would like us to pay bill as again just waited ages no desert menu offered ?

Probably one of the best cooked steaks I’ve ever had. Me and my partner had the fillet, one medium rare which sadly was a little over cooked and one rare which was perfect 👍👍👍 If there’s anything I can fault it would be the service as on a Wednesday night it wasn’t very busy and when we first got there we wasn’t seated for around 10 minutes and throughout our meal we struggled to engage with any staff if we wanted anything extra. We also had to wait quite a long time for our drinks and I noticed that the people that arrived after us got their drinks before us, all I ordered was a beer and one Moscow mule which wasn’t in a copper mug!!! Which I thought was the whole point of a Moscow mule. Apart from that was a good night out and we would definitely return and maybe try the 72oz challenge!

Bloody lovely! Went for a steak which was cooked to perfection (medium). The chicken schnitzel was lovely, fresh salad on the side! Can’t recommend this place enough

Wow simply wow. Nothing to dislike, staff were so friendly and attentive, food was amazing … we had the roast and it was almost as good as my home made roast. The restaurant has been decorated in an interesting modern meets old world charm … it really works. Sadly we visited on holiday and so it won’t be our local. But if we did live here we’d probably visit every week. Well done to the owner(s) superb, keep doing what you’re doing. Oh employ Steve as your entertainments manager … he’s brilliant.

l absolutely hate to do a bad review. I would just rather not do one at all, but I feel on this occasion I need to! l have just returned from the steak house & was so disappointed. There wasn’t many people there when we got there and l took my mum and dad out to cheer her up . We waited so long to have our drinks order taken , then as long again for someone to ask what food we wanted ,that was nearly 45 minutes gone ! the food itself didn’t take as long as l would have thought considering the already long wait ! and the food was good . by this time it was starting to get busy and we waited and waited for out table to get cleared and then waited again for someone to ask us if we wanted desert looking to try to catch someone’s attention for a dessert menu , when someone did finally come to the table we was about to say can we have a dessert menu please ! when she said we need you table now ! so we said what about dessert she said you will have to eat it out side ! really my parents are elderly my mum is unwell and the garden was very busy and all she wanted was dessert! l could not believe what l was hearing, don’t get me wrong the staff were very polite and friendly but the speed of the service was disappointing to say the least! l really don’t understand what the problem was short staffed over booked ? what l think doesn’t help there was no continuity so many different people serving us we had one take the order then different ones bring it then another asking how it is and while l really don’t have a problem with that no one really knows when you was seen last or who’s clearing the table do they need service! Do they want desert ? we was there 1 hour 45 mins plenty of time to eat a mains and dessert and vacate our table if we have had better service , if there was a time limit on the table l hadn’t seen it on the booking but even then that should have made the service quicker to give people the meal we went for . We was planning on booking a big family celebration there in October think we need to rethink that one ! what went wrong 🤷‍♀️ VERY DISAPPOINTING

Fab dinner choice. Excellent value for money. Generous portions of tasty food. Lots to choose from on the menu: Grill, pub classics, pizzas , salads and a couple of exotic options such as ostrich. Food came out quickly and hot. Staff were friendly and enquired throughout. The place itself looks nice, bit of an Out of Africa feel to it.

I cannot believe we live only a few miles away from this restaurant and never been! What have we been missing, had a lovely ribeye cooked to perfection, chip’s delicious. Staff were professional and couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely meal thank you!

We went here on a Saturday evening which was very busy but they accommodated us very well, especially being a table of 12. All of our meals were perfectly cooked and we didn’t have to wait long for our food to come out. Staff were polite and friendly and went the extra mile as they knew it was a special meal for us.

We turned up without a booking on a Saturday evening to find the place full. The hostess gave a really friendly welcome and tried her best to find a table for us, we eventually sat at a table by the bar. After our drinks came out she came back and moved us into the restaurant as people had just finished. We both had burgers, my wife’s came in focaccia bread and she loved it. I had the blue cheese burger in brioche bun and it was great. The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful to us and we could hear them acting the same with other diners. Don’t be put off by the areas around the pub, it’s worth it.

We stayed overnight in our motor home in the car park, it was close to the in-laws so was a good place to stay. We had a lovely warm welcome, offered the use of the toilets and showers rather than use our motor home. Great pub / restaurant. Had a celiac menu, and vegan & vegetarian options. Large portions, on the mains, the breakfast was great too. We will most definitely return when in the area.

Stayed with motorhome overnight on route to norfolk. Popped in for a beer and was tempted with a bar snack of voodoo chips, well priced at £4.95, huge portion shared with hubby.they were amazing if you like spicy food. Later called in for evening meal despite being quite full from the bar snack, hubby had scampi at £8.95 and I had mac n cheese with garlic bread costing around £5. Both delicious and very well presented. Next morning popped in for breakfast, hubby had full English and I had beans on toast, again very tasty costing just over £12. The pup is very unique with lots to look at and the staff were lovely. Staff worked hard to ensure safe distancing and were constantly cleaning all areas. All in all a lovely experience.

Visited with a friend on Bank Holiday Monday. Out of the 6 steaks they had to offer on the menu they only had 2 available to choose from. Steak was not cooked how I requested it. We were sat in the corner and ignored by the staff for most of our visit. Offered the dessert menu, but again they had run out of ingredients so could only offer waffles with sauce and ice cream. Only good thing was the chicken wings I had for starter. I had high hopes for this restaurant as I'd heard amazing things about it but unfortunately I will not return.

Whilst on a short break for our anniversary we booked this restaurant. We arrived early but that was no trouble for the staff who allowed us to sit at our table and enjoy a drink and to take our time. The steak was cooked to perfection. Casey was very charming and attentive and you could see the passion and hard work that goes into running this place esp during covid as things more difficult,. One suggestion for serving staff is to mention what is not on the menu at the time of giving out menus, that it is they know I guess. But that's just a very small thing for a lovely evening.

Terrible place don’t recommend to anyone got in and sat down at 7 and wasn’t even recognised for an hour until we had to go up to the bar and get our own drink and bring them back to the table our selves. Waited another hour and told the staff but still had not had anyone ask what we wanted to eat so ended up leaving. Do not recommend to anyone wanting to go there

My girlfriend and i had our first breakfast since lockdown started and hearing the Red Lodge Steakhouse had reopened,this was our first choice and we had another great experience.We felt comfortable in the pub restaurant during these difficult times,helped even more by the friendly and smiling Casey who gave us a lovely service and so very helpful. I have had breakfast at so many different places round East Anglia and I have to say the Red Lodge serves up the tastiest breakfast and the top place for me to go.Great value,good sized portions and everything on my plate was delicious,the mushrooms and hash browns were to die for but everything was tasty,even added a half portion of onion rings which are mouthwatering,my girlfriend thought the same as me in everything we are on our plates. I cannot recommend this breakfast more highly and we will be back again but in the meantime,we are having an evening meal there tomorrow night and I'm hoping to have one of those exotic steaks again,they change the selection weekly but if they have Llama again ,that's what I will be ordering as it was delicious last time I ate it there. We visit the steakhouse regularly for breakfast (before lockdown) since lockdown’s been lifted, we’ve visited twice. Once for dinner, it was lovely. 3 of us had burgers which I’m told we’re delicious and I had macaroni cheese, which was beautiful! Portion sizes are large! Onion rings are huge and tasty!The 2nd time, We visited for breakfast, this time a member of my family came with me who is vegan and I messaged the Facebook page and both Casey‘s were Incredible at accommodating a vegan option for breakfast at very short notice! Which I was really impressed with from a steakhouse (Thank you for that ladies!) Definitely recommend the steakhouse!! 5 stars!!

Rang up to book a table for 12 for a stag do and when asked if they had any vegetarian or vegan options. Gemma said they have vegetarian options but no vegan options and when I asked why I was told vegetarians aren't as fussy when it comes to meat juices contaminating the food.Not only have they lost a group of 12 but has also made me very concerned for how they run their kitchen with allergens as they were absolutely clueless

Came here on Sat 25th.greeted by a very friendly male who soon took our drinks order and took us thro to our seats. ordered the big burger and it was.we all commented on how juicy there where such a full plate.staff friendly and a good atmosphere.will definitely come again when down to visit my son

Visited for the first time on Saturday afternoon. Table of eight, very pleasant service, everyone had something different and all were very happy. I had the Hot Mess burger which was surprisingly huge although I should have realised from the description, burger, fried chicken, pulled pork, fried egg etc. Wife had sirloin steak which was very good. Grandchildren all well looked after. Deducting one star because the Eton Mess was not what we were used to. Not cheap but very good value.

Not great welcome either, lady on that day was pretty grumpy (we all have bad days tho) and level of cleanliness very poor. Glasses dirty, table had reservation but lots of food under the table from previous dinners. Too expensive for what they offer. Shame as mentioned before place is stunning and has amazing potential! Lots of room for improvement guys.

I have enjoyed many scrumptious breakfasts at this restaurant with my friends and decided to try an evening meal there for the first time so my girlfriend Lynne and I had a meal on the 8th November 2019.First of all I must mention Casey who I believe is the Manageress and she gave us a Fantastic service with a smile,so very friendly and so informative about various food on the menu,Casey just couldn't have been more helpful so a big thanks to her.I cannot praise up our meals enough,the Girlfriend Lynne had Fillet Steak served with a Bernaise sauce,sweet potato fries &garnish,Lynne said the steak was extremely tasty,cooked to perfection with very tasty fries,also saying it was one of the best meals she has ever eaten.I decided to try one of the Red Lodges exotic meats (which they rotate fortnightly/monthly) and after Casey being very helpful with details of the different meats,what they taste like etc,I plumped for the Llama Steak with fries&garnish,the steak was served in 2 pieces and when Casey asked what I thought of the meat,I said it was a little firm to cut and a bit chewy but as I chewed the meat,the most succulent flavours were coming through in my mouth and having eaten loads of steaks over 40+ years,I can honestly say it's one of the most tastiest I've eaten,it was delicious and I would love to eat it again for sure,the standard fries were also very tasty.I almost forgot to mention,Lynne and I also ordered a side of the homemade onion rings but only a half portion as there are so many and huge (the portions are large as I have previously found when having breakfast there)and they were very tasty.Ive mentioned the decor in a previous review about Breakfast but it's great,very quirky with a travel,African animal theme.Lynne and I will definitely come back for another delicious meal with lovely/friendly service by the staff,we are going to have a breakfast on this coming Boxing Day(first one for Lynne at Red Lodge,she is in for another real treat).I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly,many thanks from Keith and Lynne Ps I wish you all a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year (2020) PS Sorry for the delay with this review.

We were told to order straight which we did, but we still had to wait over half an hour for our food to arrive. We weren’t in a hurry, but we were hungry!Dessert took ages, but this was down to A miscommunication and our order not reaching the kitchen! Still, it was lovely and our waitress told us she’d knock them both off the bill as we’d been left high and dry.When it came to the crunch, only one dessert was deducted! And the 10%service charge was a bit of a shock too as it wasn’t at all apparent on the menu!There aren’t many pubs adding service charges, so beware. We thought it was a cheek.Right, now some more negatives: The car park is appalling. It’s full of huge craters and people park where they like. In the dark and the wet it would be easy to stumble, so take care. Also, the car park is an unofficial lorry park and it was a bit of a shock to us to see three huge units parked there. PLUS the drivers of said artics were sitting at the bar enjoying a pint of beer!! Not a good advertisement for safe driving!

I visited this place I have to say say the food was good And the staff were friendly I will be definitely going there again next time I visit butt Lodge

I have left a top review about the Breakfast(served from 11 - midday) at The Red Lodge Steakhouse before but I strongly feel another one is deserved after I had a solo visit today (Thursday 7th Nov 2019).I was served with a smile by the lovely little Casey,very chatty,friendly and couldn't have been more helpful,even when I was asking about the exotic meats they can serve up,Casey couldn't have given me better service so she is a real credit to the Red Lodge (thanks from Keith).The breakfast is very substantial,2 sausages,2 bacon,2 hash browns,2 eggs,mushrooms,baked beans and 4 small pieces of excellent toast, great value with such a big portion,everything so very tasty and cooked perfectly.My friend and i have tried so many cafes & restaurants within 20 miles of Bury St Edmunds for Breakfast and I can honestly say that the Red Lodge breakfast is by far the best.I love the decor here as well,a fair bit of a travel/African animal theme going on.I am returning with my girlfriend tomorrow night and trying one of their meals off the evening menu for the first time,there is a very good choice,a shame they don't list their menu on the website but I highly recommend this pub restaurant and I must try one of their Sunday Roasts but I need to book in advance as it's very popular.I must just add one more thing,if you order the onion rings to go with your breakfast or your main meal,order a half portion as you get quite a few, they are huge and best onion rings I've ever tasted.Im so looking forward to my evening meal on Friday :-)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! Been here for food 3 times and drinks many more. Steak is always cooked to perfection and the staff are amazing. Even when they are clearly really really busy they still make time to greet you and ensure you know that you are not being ignored. Tables are cosey without feeling crowded. Rustic feel without seeming aged or neglected. This place has defiantly got it right and the menu seems to suit everyone I take there, with a wide variety but not too many choices to be overwhelming.

Having recently moved to Red Lodge we wanted somewhere local where we could walk and get a meal.

I am only talking about the real ale here, I have not tried the food. Every time I have visited this place the real ale has tasted of vinegar which means that the barrel has not been changed frequently enough. Unfortunately this becomes a vicious circle as when a pub gets a reputation for poorly kept ale then people avoid it which means that it does not get drunk before it starts to deteriorate. Cask ale has a shelf life. Once the barrel is tapped it should be kept for a few days then replaced, irrespective of whether it has all been sold or not. This is basic cellarmanship which unfortunately this place is lacking in, which is a shame as otherwise it seems a nice pub.

We stayed at the log cabin, had a lovely time, lodge clean nice pretty area great for dogs. We especially loved the hot tub very relaxing and ready to take a dip whenever you like. The only problem was flies unfortunately they were lots couldn't really have the door open which was a shame. Lots to do but really need a car to travel to the places as its out in the countryside.

Great steaks cooked as wanted and the burger one of my friends had was crazy huge. drinks flowing even had shots at end of night with friendly land lady and her family from Aus. would highly reccommend the food and entertainment great night had....we will be back as we were visiting friends, we live in leicester.

Popped in after Wild tracks and had a very tasty burger and a few pints. I live in the village and will return

We went here for an early dinner and enjoyed every minute of it. The burgers are wonderful, and the atmosphere is very homey. We had a great time!

Best ever cod and chips and probably the most gorgeous and friendliest bunch of staff I've cone across ;)

We went here the first time when we were considering buying a house in the area (so it would've become our local) and had the burger. When it came the portion was huge (made the mistake of having a starter of onion rings and you get about 20 massive ones enough for 4 people easliy). The burger looked great and its taste matched it. The best burger I have ever had was in Munich at the Outland Bar (no longer there) but this was a damn fine close second (and I have been stateside 8 times). There are a lot of Americans who live in the area and it is always full of them and they have burger or steak. That tells you all you need to know!

We made an impromptu stop here on the way back from the airport yesterday and were so glad we did.

I had told my friend Simon about the lovely breakfast at the Red Lodge Steakhouse and it was the same experience today.I eat Breakfast's at various places throughout the year and within 25 miles from Bury St Edmunds and I have to say that this is now my favourite breakfast,the toast is very tasty and the rest of the breakfast is delicious,quality plain pork sausages,mushrooms, bacon and hash browns were yummy,tomatoes and beans were really nice and the eggs cooked to perfection.Simon had the Skippy Kangaroo burger served with sweet potato fries and he said it was so very tasty,we also shared a half portion of the homemade onion rings(couldn't believe how many we got on the plate)and we both agreed that they are the tastiest onion rings we've ever eaten.I highly recommend the food here and they have such a variety of food including exotic meats. I must just mention Marie (sorry if the name was Maria)who served us with a smile and most helpful.I must try their Sunday roast but I need to book up for that.I will certainly be going back there for more food there.Finally, I must mention the decor which is quite unique.Thanks to the Red Lodge from Kangaroosteak reviewer (Keith)

WOW what a steak I’ve just demolished I’ve eaten at some hidden gem around Europe but this has to be one of the best T-BONE’S I’ve ever had “What’s ya secret” and that 72oz challenge yes il have a go sometime

Friendly, prompt service and a delicious meal. Relaxed atmosphere and great value for money considering the large portion size.

Waiting time was perfect, atmosphere great and even some live music to listen too. Polite staff who make you feel welcome and make an effort to make conversation. It's a regular haunt but where credit is due it's worth a review from me.

We stopped here for a bite to eat on a long journey. We were actually heading to a cafe nearby, but decided to give this place a go instead. We are so glad we did! Everyone was so friendly, and the food was lovely! Our dog was welcomed with open arms and the grounds were secure so we could allow our dog to wander. Definitely recommend giving this place a visit!

Visited twice now with family for a traditional roast dinner. I’m normally very fussy about roast dinners when eating out, however, this won’t disappoint. The meat is Delicious and cooked to perfection, as are all the trimmings. The price is fantastic for a “home cooked” roast, you won’t leave feeling hungry or disappointed. Waiting staff are attentive and friendly. Really can’t fault the steak house for such an amazing Sunday roast. Will definitely be going back.

About 3 years ago It has been a great place to try out interesting food like kangaroo burgers, zebra pizza, wild boar, ostrich or others kind of exotic meat. Served very nicely on a stone tiles. Matching perfectly with the interior design. However it has become an avarge food pub with shorter menu, excluding all of exotics keeping only kangaroo burgers. But even those are a bit smelly now and you definately get less on your plate, no relish at all, salad is full of sand (not washed!) which cracks in your mouth. Really basic avarage serving. Moreover everytime I was visiting this place it was getting worse and worse. I finally stopped going there as it started to be worse than average... Go and try a Kangaroo burger however It is nothing special right now, and I do not recommend this place as a gourmet steak house, but only average. Service also is quite random as the staff rotation is frequent. One waitress may be nice, however on next visit new staff member might be just ignoring you and it is a bit annoying.

I've been there few times for a tasty evening meal but also for English breakfast

We were a table of 6 today for Sunday lunch, we all opted for the traditional roast and we weren’t disappointed.. excellent meat quality, yummy roast potatoes, lovely batter puddings, great veg and yummy gravy .. couldn’t ask for more. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a Sunday lunch as good as this and the price is amazing.

We went here for Halloween, for the first time and were amazed. They had gone to so much trouble to decorate the place, the food was out of this world. It was the best steak we've had in years. It's so great we have booked our Christmas meal there for all the family, we're also going New Year eve and we're also going there for my birthday tomorrow (16th Dec)

Big fan of Red Lodge Steakhouse. Been there a number of times. Always great food and service. Exciting menu. Love trying their exotic dishes.
