We’ve eaten here lots over the years hit the food (and service) has never been so good. Special mention to ANIA who served us - she is an absolute star ⭐️ Also to the chef - food was really very nice! Nicest we’ve ever had here !!

Showed up with three children and was seated somewhere quiet. Frequently checked up on and offered assistance, They will go above and beyond for you and even go and collect your breakfast for you if you need. And when you’re trying to fight a toddler this is amazing. Buffet options were fully stocked and cooked breakfast was delicious. The staff member Dermot was so patient and in such a good mood it set the whole experience. Definitely recommend.

Came for breakfast with the family, 3 children and 2 adults. Such a huge variety of food offerings and the staff were very helpfull and friendly. One of my children is autistic and they fpund us a nice quiet place in resteraunt close to bathroom if needed. The cooked breakfast was outstanding and we left very well feed and value for money. Can not fault The Ormonde at all and will definitly be back reguarly!

We went out for Breakfast yesterday morning with a couple of friends and we couldn't have had a better experience. Janis greeted us on arrival and showed us to our table and showed Excellent customer service throughout the breakfast. Leanne was also fantastic waitress, she served with a smile throughout and was lovely and friendly, great banter as well. Would thoroughly recommend to others

Live local and have started to come for breakfast! It’s such great value for money! The food is great, lots of choice! The servers are friendly and hard working! Especially Leanne & Janis always made to feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble! Just wanted ice cream for desert but was unable to offer only what was on the menu. Offered ice cream on other deserts but not just plain ice cream for me. Disappointed ☹️ Food was reasonable could be better Waitress was good and bar staff too. I'm not sure if I would come here again to dine.

Very early breakfast, very quiet, exactly how I needed. Great, attentive service and a splendid English breakfast.

A lovely ,relaxed evening where we could dine and chat with friends .My fish pie was very good and the Icecream Sundae delicious .The staff were extremely pleasant and courteous. I like The Ormonde because you can comfortably talk to friends without loud music in the background and enjoy a reasonably priced meal .

We stayed in the Premier Inn and came in for breakfast. My eldest has austism and couldn't make it down but as soon as I mention to our server Dermot, he understood and allowed us to make a plate. Gave us take away bags for food and made a bacon sandwich to take away. He sat us next to the table to watch the horses which my daughter loved. He even brought out extra hasbrowns as she also mentioned it was the best breakfast she'd ever had and the hash browns were the best. He was always friendly and helpful and gave us amazing service. The food was delicious, the poached eggs were perfectly cooked and runny, as previously mentioned the hash browns were crunchy and not oily. Bacon sausage all cooked really well. Loads of choice for cereals, yogurts, fruits and pastry/pancakes. Overall a great choice breakfast and amazing service. Would definitely visit again. Thankyou again Dermot.

My daughter has Coeliac Disease and Dermot, our waiter, was fabulous with her. He took her dietary requirements very seriously so that she felt extremely confident and relaxed eating her breakfast. He even changed her napkin and cutlery for a new one as it had been out all night and could have been cross contaminated. Never had that kind of understanding and service before. Would definitely recommend 👌

Our visit was made all the more memorable by Charle, what an absolute pleasant young man, he was friendly, helpful and very professional, nothing was too much bother and he was always smiling. He's a credit to the company. We will be back.

A must visit if you like horse racing spent about 6 hours here as they is quite a lot going on.

Had a delightful time at Newmarket with my family. Nice staff, delicious steak and apple crumble. Great atmosphere and a wonderful place to head to if you would like to have lunch. Would recommend it to others to try out!

We were informed of a limited menu as we arrived due to issues in the kitchen. We had burgers that were available but can't say that mash goes well with them but it filled the hunger gap and The food that was served was good. The waitress Jennie was very apologetic as we mentioned we were quite disappointed with the lack of menu choice but food and service still deserves 5 star.

Just wanted to pop a message to say I was in Newmarket for three days to take part in an education course and to conduct some independent research - all three days I ate here, all the staff were lovely and the portions were generous for breakfast. Special mention to Dermot who was the absolute best - amiable, very professional and always with a smile.

Me and my family are regular visitors to this restaurant. The service, food quality & value for money, atmosphere, and cleanliness are consistently excellent. The young lady who was our waitress on 22 April early evening deserves a special mention - she is a very polite, friendly, and efficient waitress. She has been on duty on many other occasions when we have dined here and is consistently excellent at her job.

Went in for dinner and drinks with the family. All good apart from the rock hard garlic bread kids starter. Thanks to sasha for serving us at our table and at the bar as didn't really see anyone else they seem to go awol even though busy Friday evening!

A horrible place, dirty entrance does not make you want to go in, horrible food, unbearable smell in the services, just entering the hallway and inside everything is dirty, the restaurant was empty but the bathroom was dirty, incorrect service, the order. I don't recommend it, there are better places to eat than that..

Haven't been for awhile, i was over the moon to see jennie still there! She has served us many times we been in and we forever grateful for her, she always knows how to charm my grumpy dad. Came today for Sunday lunch with a friend. Although disappointing that the restaurant had ran out of roasts dinners just before our arrival, but wasn't the end of the world. Jennie our waitress for lunch made some recommendations on request which I will say we was not disappointed. Also I'd like to say Jennie had great knowledge of the menu and we were very well looked after by her. The food looked and tasted good. We will return.

Have been here before and the food was amazing with very generous portions. Went yesterday based on our previous visits and sadly it was very poor. The nachos had sporadic cheese and the accompanying salad was tiny. I ordered the Cheeseburger chips that was previously served in a pasta bowl and was very fulfilling. This time the portion size was less than half it was when I ordered the same dish and was served in a desert bowl. The drink glasses were cloudy and looked dirty and had we paid full price I would have definitely complained about the amount of food for the price. This is sad as we really enjoyed the place before.

My son said he would treat me to a Mother’s Day lunch, so we picked the Table Table as they were running a mums eat free promotion, or so we thought. Booked through the link and received confirmation email but on paying it turns out we needed a code which had not been sent so no free meal and my poor son had to pay full price. Complained to Tom who appeared to be in charge and he shrugged and said nothing he could do, he called over Sasha who had been our server who said it had happened to four other tables but no code, no offer. In fact another gentleman was complaining about his incorrect bill at the same time. Food was mediocre and service was slap dash. Greeted with a grunt and a scowl by the lady behind the bar when we waited to be seated. Tom came along and took over but sat us in a corner away from other diners which meant we were rather forgotten. We ordered more drinks from Sasha but they never arrived but she still added herself a £20 tip and when my son questioned it giggled and said oops my mistake. She spent a lot of time chatting loudly and giggling with scowling lady behind the bar so it’s no wonder she forgot the drinks order. Custard was cold with a skin on the caramel apple Betty, no strawberries with the churros which we were informed would be swapped for a banana but it was about four tiny slices. It was standard Booker reheat and serve food but let down badly by the staff in the restaurant and their don’t care attitude. Ladies toilets were out of order during our visit and the alternative disabled toilet had no soap. All in all a disappointing experience and I felt sorry for my son.

We have never stayed at the hotel so cannot rate this experience, however we quite often stop for breakfast on our way through Newmarket. Dermot is always extremely cheery and accommodating. Whilst chatting to Dermot about our experiences living in London and me working as a bus driver years ago, he put a smile on our faces! He is a credit to your company for his approachability and attentiveness. The breakfast as ever was fabulous. Keep up the good work and see you soon...

We had a lovely meal for my son's birthday, there were 5 of us and the service by Tom was excellent, he was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely visit again, great value for money, clean and waiting staff were excellent as well.

The food was lovely and couldn't complain. Wasn't as busy as I would have expected, especially for New Year's Eve, which made it a cosy atmosphere as we were tucked away in an alcove. Service was good and the cost reasonable. The only thing I could have marked it down for was that they didn't have all the ingredients for one of the cocktails, but there were enough other options.

We arrived it took 30 mins before our order was taken and another hour before the meal came. The restaurant was not exceedingly busy. We were not told of any delay . Worst still it was cold in the restaurant made worse by the delay. When I asked why there was only one person serving was told they only had two pre bookings. Whitbread had a meal offer on and they have a Christmas menu they should be prepared. We use this restaurant fairly often they need to get better organised and better heating. This could really be a good restaurant

The food is usually very good. Today it's busy only one person taking orders did not inform us there was a wait. A table was booked for 1.15 by 2pm our meal had not arrived so very dissatisfied indeed

Just back from Sunday lunch at Table Table Newmarket.We were a party of eleven,the food and service were superb.Our waitress,Sacha was truly wonderful.She worked so hard to make sure we all had exactly want we wanted.Please thank her so much for us and all the rest of the staff.We plan to use this as our regular family meeting place!!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was cooked well but warm not hot. There was free parking near the restaurant but not easy to find in the dark and first time going there. Be careful not to use the multi storey car park as it closes at 7pm.

Stayed at the hotel to be close to a wedding venue for the next day and used the restaurant for breakfast. A very nice member of staff by the name of Dermot seated us and provided an excellent service explaining all options available and asking all members of the group if they had any allergies.Food was good and readily available. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t even get to sit down. Made a reservation for breakfast and arrived at the time of the booking and were told we would have to wait 45 mins for a table, with 2 young children this wasn’t an option. The place was chaos though. All of the continental items needed replenishing so actually was probably a blessing in disguise and we went elsewhere

Brought the kids in for breakfast. Served by Tom made sure he looked after us and was amazing with my daughters allergy requirements. Asked who cooked my eggs..and he said the chef was called Paul. Well Paul you do the best poached eggs in town....

Great good & service. The Sunday roast was o e of the best I've ever had. Only problem was the temperature. Air con made it too cold & after asking many timed for it to be sorted it never really warmed up.
