Very disappointed by staff attitude. We asked for coffee 40 minutes before closing time. The lady who worked there informed us that we can'have coffee because she had already cleaned the coffe machine. 40 minutes before closing time?

Stopped in for a bit of lunch, very appealing wholesome food on offer, spoiled for choice went for the special of the day with delicious garlic bread, the burger and a wonderful toastie, special note of the lovely freshly made bread. So good we found an excuse to visit again for afternoon tea and cakes. A real gem and brilliant customer service.

Fort george is a great barracks tour with historic scotland membership. Still active if the weather does turn wet you can retreat into this cafe which does snacks and costa cafe right in the middle of the fort.

Reasonable priced, coffee was lovely. Had to return my soup due to a problem & the matter was dealt with by the member of staff no hassle or problem. Toilets are old but spotless

Lovely cafe near the Chapel in Fort George Finally found good options in vegetarian hot foods. the falafel burger and the lentil soup were yummy Ten on ten marks for the soup..easily rhe best i have had in a long long time

Coaldair PotteryI have been an enthusiastic and regular patron of the Pottery for more years than I can remember, certainly 22 plus years. I have introduced many friends and colleagues to its delicious cakes. I was upset and disappointed on my last visit to find that loud unpleasing muzak had been introduced. This ruins the ambience entirely. Who travelling in the Highlands wants loud irrelevant noise? Sadly unless this disappointing development is reversed the place will lose my regular custom and that of my friends.

Back of KeppochDo not make any requests, or you will be met with an intimidating stare and a passive/aggressive response. It made our stay quite difficult, but we stuck it out as it was peak season at the time. Also, our room more suited to a single bed category - with a double bed squeezed into it, there was barely enough room to move along one side of the bed and around the end of the bed, as it was so close to the wall on two sides. There are plenty of other good B&B's in the area who will be glad to welcome you.
